Yelp
Chuuuuurrrrrrrros! Let's me honest, how many of us had those dry, pre-prepared & sitting over the counter for-a-long-time churros? Even if they're filled with cream, it don't matter. If it was premade, you haven't had a real churro from the Churro Parlor.
I was first exposed to the Churro Parlor via a Yelp elite who got 2 for free through an event, and shared one with me! I had it brought home so I don't know what the 15-minute feels like not to have it warm. I took a bite of my Aunt Jane churro, and I immediately thought "WHOA! What is this! Not like the dried up churros that I've had before!" And ignoring those xxxx calories & sugar, I ate it all at night with no regret.
Come a week later, I was craving for those churros, like a pregnant woman would (tho I'm certain I'm not). I knew exactly where it was, next to Cafe El Tapatio. It was a Tuesday at noon. I drove 20 minutes there, and come to find out they don't open until 4. I was DEVASTATED! Because I really wanted one right then & there! (Throwing my hangry tantrum.)
Thanks to my hubby, I've had an Aunt Jane, and Nutella brought to my house sooner than later, and let me tell you... even if I haven't had a warm one, they are just so good! Mmmm...
I'm so glad they're open at noon now. Can't wait to have a warm one that's worth the wait!
