New Indian Restaurant Zaika Planned in Capitol Hill - Eater Seattle

"Chutneys is an Indian restaurant in Queen Anne, which is closing down permanently as preparations for Zaika ramp up. The workers from Chutneys are moving to Zaika and are involved with the planning. The menu at Zaika will feature some items previously available at Chutneys, offering some overlap for longtime fans." - Gabe Guarente

I was actually walking down the street headed to another restaurant but when I walked past, the tantalizing aroma drew me in to this place like a moth to a flame. The atmosphere was perfect for winding down with a savory meal at the end of the day. If you're looking for a delicious Indian spot in Seattle, this is it. The service was on point, and everything was presented beautifully. The salmon was to die for. If you're gluten-free like me, ask for the papadum instead of naan!

So Monday night , late work , time to order on EAT 24 . Ordered from this place . I uploaded items photos. Samosa , Naan, gulab jamun , Malai kofta, rice came in good packaging , hot . Taste wise all items was good . Not awesome or great . But its good. You can try 1-2 times. Delivery was on time. Quantities was enough.

Delicious authentic Indian food - the chicken tikka and garlic naan were marvellous and large portion. The chicken briyani was ok - prefer the rice to be less soft.

We had a great dinner at Chutneys. All dishes were fresh and well seasoned. Both the lamb and the chicken was tender and tasty. Goon naan bread as well.

We ordered 2 garlic naan and rogan josh for two people, the quantity was sufficient for two and it came with some basmati rice. Food was good except it wasn’t hot

Ordered takeout from Chutney’s and picked it up relatively fast. Left - Chicken Tikka Masala and Right - Butter chicken. One of my favorite places to order Indian food from.

The only thing for which I visit chutneys is kasmiri kofta. It’s really tasty and I love it a lot. Ambience is really good and staff is really friendly. Recommended place if you want to enjoy tasty dinner at great ambience.

One of the best Indian restaurant in Seattle area. I've been to, really great flavours, reasonable prices ,huge portions ,the flavours are amazing. The restaurant itself is decorated and designed really well. The staff were super friendly. All round it was brilliant, will definitely come back.
