Menu was nice and simple. A smaller, simple menu goes such a long way. It makes ordering easy and less complicated. I got the taco and enchilada combo and was great. Perfectly balanced plate and was just the right amount. Queso was amazing too. Staff was also very friendly. No complaints from me.

Google
Chuy's is what my peeps call " our place ". Great Tex-Mex with a variety of choices we can try. Servers are always pleasant and accommodating. Some of us "treat " ourselves to a margarita after a stressful day at work.

We eat at other Chuys all the time and have never had such a poor experience. We never send back food, but we sent back six burnt and cheeseless panchos, only to receive four burnt and cheeseless panchos back. I guess it was an improvement? The person who delivered them argued with us that they weren’t burnt and that this is how they come. We mentioned it to our waitress and she seemed put out. No one acknowledged they were burnt and cheeseless. What do y’all think? 🤣 We won’t be back.

Google
The chips were crisp, the salsa fresh, and the queso cheesy. I enjoyed the beef fajitas. Perhaps not the best I've ever had but satisfying and tasty. Service was OK, mistakes were made with our drinks. Towards the end, it seemed as if our waiter was trying to hurry us so he could flip the table. I would certainly go back, though hopefully I can find closer parking in the future.

Chuy’s is one of my partner and I’s favorites! They have a few vegan options! I have always loved the soft guacamole tacos - so much that I haven’t taken a picture of them when they get to me. This is my partner’s vegetarian enchiladas. They were delicious!

My work team loves to walk down to Chuy's and have a great lunch meal. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. The food is delish!!

We haven't been to a Chuy's since pre-pandemic and unfortunately, it has gone way downhill, or maybe it's just this location. Beans were dripping off all our plates and we didn't even all order beans. I got beef instead of the chicken I ordered and the server blamed it on the kitchen. Giant clumps of chips stuck together. Random cheese bits on my dtrs food like people don't even care. Guac was loose, mostly lettuce and in a tiny bowl. Service was very slow, had to ask for water, had to find server to get our check bc she hadn't come by in a while. It looks like Chuy's but sounds like a dance club, trying too hard. Sad really, Chuy's never again. I can usually find the bright side of things but this was bad from every angle. I'm relieved it wasn't a special occasion.

I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Ethan at Chuy's in Mueller, and let me tell you, he was hands down the best server I've had in a long time! From the moment we sat down, he brought high energy and kept us laughing throughout the entire meal with his jokes. He was such a great sport and made our dining experience incredibly fun. It was clear that he genuinely enjoyed his job and took pride in making sure we had a great time. I can't recommend Ethan enough - if you're looking for an unforgettable experience, ask for him!

Yelp
Whenever someone from out of town asks for a Tex-Mex recommendation, I always recommend Chuy's--it's a solid option that never disappoints. I came in on a slower day and was quickly seated on the patio. Our bartender/server was awesome--super chill, efficient, and made our experience feel relaxed. Unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to my usual Chuy's standard. The food was lukewarm and lacked the seasoning I love. I always order the Elvis Presley Memorial Combo because I look forward to the leftovers, but this time, the meal was so underwhelming that I ended up throwing the leftovers out the next day. It's not the bartender/server's fault, but the food just wasn't up to par compared to other Chuy's locations. Love the location, but needs some work before I'll return.

Yelp
The service at Chuy's was fantastically attentive. The menu currently includes some classic favorites, like the Elvis Fried Chicken, breaded in none other than Lay's potato chips. For great value, shared plates are the way to go--we tried the new Bacon Guacamole Arancini like appetizer. It was tasty, though I'm still unsure about hot guacamole. I also discovered that you can customize the quesadilla appetizer with a mix of beef and chicken, getting two small quesadillas of each. To top it off, they even gave me an extra bag of chips with salsa and jalapeño ranch to-go! Best ranch ever. There is a big indoor area and large covered patio. I prefer the outside, I like fresh air and the inside is a little loud in decor.

Yelp
Chile Rellenos 2.0 are back on the menu, but they're not quite like 1999 or 2019 before Covid-19 iykyk being that they're breaded with panko or maybe Lay's potato chips and they're maybe pre-prepped with a chicken breast filling and frozen versus really fresh roasted chicken breast and Anaheim Chile peppers. I guess I'd say that they're good or okay, but not nearly as great as before. I was able to sub the Green Chile Rice from the special feature Elvis Green Chile Fried Chicken, so that was the best part and the saving grace to my meal. Overall, the Mueller Chuy's is developing it's own vibe and is good, but unlike the iconic Barton Springs, North Lamar, and Round Rock locations we still have a ways to go and maybe it's just that it's no longer possible to be like before whether it's Barton Springs, Round Rock or Mueller. Probably best just to enjoy Chuy's nowadays for what it's become and cherish the many precious beloved menu items that haven't changed, as Chuy's still is better than many ever were or those that lost their identity during the covid environment or from the challenges that have resulted the past few years.

Yelp
Easily can see the Mueller location our new goto Chuys...very clean and bright...super friendly service...and the food alway just hits right...I will say this place gets jumping after 1230-ish...so thats why we hit the door at 11 when they open. AND NEWS FLASH! Green Chili Rice is back on the menu!!

Yelp
Chuy's is one of my favorite spots to go with friends. The atmosphere is super chill and it's great spot if you're craving mexican food on the go. LOVE the ranch they bring out with the chips and salsa. When I went yesterday I got the chicken fajitas. They were so yummy and the portion size was huge so it ended up becoming three meals worth for me. It also tasted great as leftovers. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the side of toppings came in a huge dish. The tortillas tasted super fresh, however, I do wish I was given more than 3. The service was friendly even though the place was pretty busy. They did take a while for my boyfriends food to come out. But if you're looking for good food and big portions for a decent price, Chuy's is a great choice.

Yelp
I recently visited Chuy's in Mueller for the first time, and it was an amazing experience. I didn't even know this location existed until a friend suggested we meet there. We ordered the queso with ground beef, guacamole, and pico de gallo, and as usual, the food was incredible. I also tried the Texas Tini drink, which was very, very good. It was an excellent twist on the martini, featuring jalapeños and olives. I would definitely order that drink again. The service was wonderful--our server was attentive and friendly. Although she went MIA for a moment, she quickly regained her visibility and continued to provide excellent service. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, contributing to an overall pleasant dining experience. I would definitely visit this location again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, great drinks, and excellent service.

Yelp
I was excited to see this place pop up in my neighborhood, love a good local Chuy's. Came here on a Sunday night and it was packed. We were seated fairly quickly but we were packed in there like sardines. Service was good. Chuy's green sauce was fire as always. Got the baja shrimp tacos and they didn't disappoint.

Yelp
If you plan on coming here, the first thing you need to know is that they have no parking lot. It's all paid street parking which means you'll be plugging in some cash at the kiosk. There's no free parking anywhere in the area. The first thing you notice about this place, is that it is located at the base of a multi story apartment building, which means they have a captive audience. From a design perspective, they really nailed it in keeping with their iconic style. The second thing you notice is that they have a pretty limited food menu and they do not offer black or Barracho beans as a substitute (they do have french fries). They have a happy hour from 3 to 6 PM on weekdays, but I was surprised that they have absolutely no local craft beer whatsoever, just Shiner and Blue Moon. They do have some great thin chips and their salsa is definitely on the non offensive warm side. You do get a good sized portion on the plate, but the side of tortillas I got were like chewing on thin cardboard. Overall, our two dishes were good according to Chuy's texmex style and service was very attentive. When it's time to check out, they do not have a handheld device with predetermined tips at the ready. Basically a 3 1/2 Star experience, but half a star extra for exceptional service. Informative photos below.

Yelp
I'm really glad this location opened up, the service is so much better than the Barton Springs one. The food never disappoints and they usually don't have a wait! Love love love Chuy's

Yelp
Everyone was excited that a Chuy opened in our neighborhood so I had to check it out. Came here on Friday night at 730 for a show and my group of five was able to be seated right away. My friend introduced me to the jalapeño dip and we munched on chips until we were ready to order. We all got some drinks and I got the New Mexican martini. It was quite delicious and at a pretty decent price. I ended up on the steak burrito for food and it too was also quite delicious at a decent price. Overall, it would be a good place for casual food and drinks. I'll probably be taking advantage of this close proximity and be ordering take outs whenever I'm in the mood for Tex mex.

Yelp
This place opened up recently so I wanted to check it out! I ordered the guacamole and the veggie enchilada. The guacamole was okay, I did really like the enchilada. I think that the restaurant had cute decor. It would make for a nice casual date. Service was okay, it was a little busy so understandably a little slow. I thought the prices were also fair. Overall I would definitely come here again to check out the other vegetarian options. I loved that they marked which items were vegetarian on their menu!

Yelp
The Chuy's in Mueller is a welcome addition! This is exactly the type of place Mueller was lacking, a great, reasonably priced, Tex mex place with a full bar, that's family friendly with both indoor and outdoor seating. The hostess, Serena and our server, John, were both so kind and welcoming, as was the rest of the staff. The chips and salsa hit the table at almost the same time we did, and they were eager to bring us more, which is always appreciated! The salsa is nice and spicy, and always fresh. The chips are warm and salted perfectly. We got there starving and nearly had to be rolled out, with leftovers in hand. The chuychanga with boom boom sauce is FIRE! Out of the 9 years I've been going to Chuys, it's still probably my favorite of all time! It's fried, but not overly oily like some, and not too doughy! My husband got the chicken burrito which, there was no way in heck he was going to pick it up, it's definitely a fork and knife style burrito, which he chose to have nestled amongst the green chile sauce. There's several house made sauces to choose from, and dare I say, choosing one is probably harder than deciding what to actually order. We're not usually dessert people because we're so full, but after seeing multiple desserts come out, I had to oblige when John asked if we'd like a tres leches cake. First of all, it was nearly a quarter of a sheet cake, it was massive. And probably one of the best I've had!! Honestly. The cream, caramel and strawberries were a unique touch I haven't had before and it was perfectly moist, without being soggy, and not sickeningly sweet like some others can be. The margaritas are perfect, I can't say a single ill word about them or even that they come too slow because the staff is always rapid fire to keep your marg glass full. I will say, next time I'm going to try the Mexican martini with jalapeños stuffed olives though for sure! Also, proud mom moment, our boys made the dog wall, and while I can't say if the patio is dog friendly or not yet, I would certainly bring them if it was!

Yelp
Great spot for Tex Mex! We left the place feeling so full, and I love the variety of food on the menus. The frozen margs are so good, and you can customize with a swirl of flavors if desired. The food was solid and portions are huge, although we would have preferred the tortillas for the fajitas to be softer (they were a little dry and tough). Service was great, they were a bit busy but we still felt taken care of. They have TVs if you're into sports, an outdoor patio, and overall just a fun vibe with colorful decor. Definitely recommend as a casual spot to enjoy a meal and drink.

Yelp
Usually Chuy's is one of our favorite lunch stops for the work group. This time we went to the newer Mueller location and were somewhat disappointed. Service is usually on point but we had to hunt down our waitress for everything. One of our party's lunch chuychanga was practically raw tortilla but once it was replaced everything was delicious. We asked for Togo containers and she brought one, not the two we obviously needed. Minor things, nothing that will stop us from going back, just not the Chuys experience we are used to.

Lisa F.

Yelp
Margarita was good. That's it. We returned after boycotting chuys after they took the rellenos and fish tacos off the menu. Tried the "seasonal" rellenos tonight. Batter is very different and meh. Still no fish tacos.. Service was super slow, not welcoming of friendly, order was inaccurate.

Yelp
Yay for a Chuy's opening on this side of town! Great margarita, queso, and creamy jalapeño dip, as always. I had the taco salad which I was able to sub out the meat for refried beans. It came with three large scoops of guac, a very generous serving. My husband had enchiladas which he loved. Our server was very nice and made sure our dog had a bowl of water. Oh yeah, this location has a dog friendly patio!
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Very nice, casual Mexican restaurant, amazing service, friendly and prompt. Had chicken fajita burrito , which was big as my head as advertised. Margaritas were large, cold and delicious.

Yelp
Been coming here for lunch when at work. Probably the few affordable places to eat in the Mueller area. Can't go wrong with their Enchiladas. Staff are always courteous. Restaurant is not as loud as other Chuy restaurants, feels more intimate inside than other Chuy's as well.

Yelp
We went to chuys for one of their opening nights and had a great experience. I wish the menu was a little larger which is the reason for a knock off start but otherwise very happy to have this new restaurant in the neighborhood. It's affordable, tasty, and traditional Tex mex!

Yelp
We went to Chuy's last night and got Ethan as our waiter. He truly made the experience even more fun, and it was impressive seeing him change his approach at every table. We're all entertainers, so he was very funny and animated with us, but we observed that he was more toned down with others. Best waiter I've ever had

Aaron L.

Yelp
Atrocious service. Staff is inattentive and slow. Spent over 40 minutes without a water refill or visit from the server. Frustrating to watch the staff chatting with each other in the kitchen, but not checking in on your table. Remarkably bad service. Food was typical Chuys: no complaints.
google avatar

Yelp
I probably won't be coming here anymore, and I was pretty excited about getting a Chuy's in the Mueller Center. However after my experiences, I will take the drive to go to another. The atmosphere and service are subpar, I've gotten the same server and each time she's forgotten something. I feel like most of the servers aren't very attentive unfortunately
google avatar

Calista R.

Yelp
Literally zero wait so that's a huge plus. Food is great, staff is great, vibes are great. Just be aware that you'll probably have to pay for street parking.
google avatar

Isabelle M.

Yelp
Ethan is the best server I've ever had. Attentive and made my time here an experience. Great at his job and good with people. Definitely will be back.
google avatar

James B.

Yelp
The food was great, drinks are reasonably priced and service was superb. They also allow dogs on the patio. I will say many of the servers are new (considering this is a new space) and not super familiar with the menu, which is completely understandable. That said, give your server some grace if that's the case for you and I'm sure they'll appreciate your patience and treat you right like they did for us.

Bryan B.

Yelp
This Chuy's surpasses barton springs location by a million. Service is always fast and friendly, food is always hot! Really enjoy the Tacos Al Carbon, beef fajita. Compared to other places Chuy's is pretty affordable and the margs are pretty decent!
google avatar

Yelp
We had a fabulous dining experience at Chuy's last night. Excellent food, and the entire staff was bustling and full of smiles. Our server, Loranna, was amazing! So wonderfully attentive! We overheard a staff member say mgmt pays for servers to come in from all over the state to train staff and get the restaurant off to a great start. So excited for them to open on Tuesday! Such an amazing addition to our neighborhood.
google avatar

Stacey G.

Yelp
I ordered a chimichanga and the waiter brought out enchiladas and said that since I ordered a certain sauce it wasn't the same as a chimichanga. Even though the menu says to pick a sauce to put on. Then he proceeded to tell me that a chimichanga and an enchilada were the same thing. I'm normally a big fan of Chuy's but this location has definitely let me down.

Melanie V.

Yelp
First time at Chuys! Great experience! The drinks were so good, and our server, Benjamin, was so attentive, friendly, and helpful!
