"One of the OG Tex-Mex restaurants in the country, Chuy’s, has debuted its first South Florida location in Doral at 8001 NW 36th Street. This opening will mark the ninth Florida location and 91st restaurant overall for the company, which opened its first restaurant in Austin 35 years ago. On the menu guests can expect dishes like enchiladas, stuffed chile rellenos, and its aptly named “big as yo’ face” burritos. And to add an extra touch, the tortillas are made daily right in the dining room of the restaurant on a comal, a flat griddle typically used in Mexico. The restaurant’s popular happy hour is also debuting in Miami, featuring a “fully loaded” nacho car, which consists of a free build-your-own nacho station housed in the trunk of a vintage car loaded with chips, salsa, queso, beans and ground sirloin, all available from 4 to 7 p.m. every Monday to Friday. The restaurants are know for their funky decor with things like a custom Elvis Shrine, metal palm trees, a hubcap-covered ceiling, the “La Chihuahua Bar” showcasing local’s dog photos, and a school of hand-carved wooden fish “swimming” through the restaurant – each, apparently, with its own “story.” of which has its own unique story. The restaurant is now open Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until 11 p.m. And for the first four weeks of opening, diners have the chance to discover a Golden Ticket in their silverware with a variety of offers like a free appetizer, entrée, tres leches and more." - Olee Fowler

The service was good and the portions are big for a good price. However, when I tried the food it was a bit salty for my taste. I don’t see myself returning though. The place has a diner atmosphere. If you take a framed photo of your pet you’ll receive a free appetizer. That’s a cute initiative.

This place exceeded my expectations. I had an amazing time here at Chuy’s the ambiance is awesome. Our hostess gave us the grand tour. When you walk to the right the chihuahua bar such a cool place. And to they have extra dining room. It was like going into a museum. Spotless the hub caps on the ceiling are so unique. My waiter Shi was Amazing The food portion is perfect and the food was delicious. The tres leche was soooo good. Cheers to the team here!!

I have eaten at this restaurant chain in Texas and both taste the same. Consistency across state lines is impressive. Service from Felix was exceptional. He made sure we were always taken care especially when he was unable to attend, he sent another waiter to assist. Highly recommend you request him. We were there on a Sunday evening. My guess is he works evenings. My wife just wanted a plate of veggies, and he made it happen with what they had. Great place, great food, great service.

Honest review. Service great!!!! Food amazing. Can’t wait to go back. Chips and drinks kept being replenished and . Rice is soft, food was fresh. They make their own tortillas and they are so soft and warm.

Had a fantastic early mother's day lunch this past Saturday with my wife and parents. We always love coming to Chuy's! The food and the service was perfect. Highly recommend this location. My parents drive all the way from Coconut Creek just for Chuy's and the wife and I are coming from West Pines. Well worth the trip!

Clean Friendly service (Franklin explained everything clear and in detail) Quick to serve our party of five on 4th of July dinner rush. I love the spices and marinated steak. I enjoyed the atmosphere and watching a worker make tortillas by hand. We were seated under the ac units so when our food got to our table it was chilled but thankfully we're quick eaters. Everyone enjoyed their food. One thing that was off-putting was the prices for the things they cook, but it is a tourist attraction city. Overall experience was wonderful.

What can I say? I'm a Texas girl in a Miami world and was in desperate need of Mexican food. The service was great. She loved asking if we liked the green chili sauce 😂😂 (my bf is Cuban and hates spicy food) ...it was an over all great experience. Can't wait to go back. The HOMEMADE TORTILLASSSSSSS......😍😍😍 That is all
