Why You Should Balance a Meal Between Homemade and Takeout Food | Eater

"Envisioned as a convenient takeout option for hosting, the restaurant’s crispy tacos were imagined as the main takeaway dish to pair with small homemade sides—such as blistered peppers and baked brownies—allowing the host to focus on one labor-intensive recipe while still supporting local restaurants." - Rebecca Roland

Chuy’s is a great place to go for a casual meal with friends or family. I’ve been multiple times and would recommend it. For the price it’s good food, service and portions. Plus the all you can eat homemade tortilla chips that they give you when you sit down are a nice touch. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a unique Mexican restaurant.

Okay, place is cute! Love the loud decor. Our waitress was Kat, she was bubbly and awesome. The creamy jalapeño sauce, I could eat everything slathered in that! Hubby got the steak burrito, the look on his face when he bit into it..lol Foodgasm. I got the green Chile plate. So yummy. Everything has flavor, even the rice and beans. New favorite restaurant. Love that you can change out the sauces!

Delicious food, big servings and friendly service make this place a great choice for authentic Mexican food for lunch or dinner. Love the Burritos and Enchiladas selections.

We loved it so much the first night, we came back the next night. The chips are light and tasty, and the pico (order this instead of salsa) is great with the jalapeno cream sauce. Mojito is absolutely perfect - not too sugary and not full of ice instead of drink! We recommend the ranchero sauce (not the tex-mex) on top of the fajita chicken burrito.

First time customer to get take out fur my birthday. Absolutely awful. Online ordering prices higher than menu price so I called to place my carryout order . Was asked if they could call me back or if I could call back. When I asked if they could just put me on hold, they said they didn't have that ability. 🤔 when I called back a minute later, the person was very rude. Curbside pickup was a bust. Had to go inside. Their "big as your head" burrito.. total BS. Flat, barely any filling, no lettuce or tomato, but a big bag of chips, cause I guess that's what I pd almost $16 for. Total ripoff. Never going back and will advise everyone I meet to choose anywhere else.

One of my favorite places to eat in Gainesville! Chuys has consistently good food and service. There are 3 dining areas that each have a separate feel - my favorite is the one with doc pictures (if you bring a framed dog photo, you can get a free appetizer!) but all are unique and have things to look at. Food-wise, I always get the hard shell tacos, which come with rice and beans. Chips and salsa are also included.

I had the chicken flautas and they were quite good, very crispy and flavorful. My father had the tortilla soup, which I didn't taste but it smelled delicious. The obligatory chips were thin and crispy, the salsa fresh and not too cilantro-y, the cream dip very yummy with a little sting of heat. The sides -- refried beans and rice -- were fine. Adequate, but not memorable for being great or terrible.

Coming into the place it was so beautiful, but the queso wasn’t even traditional white cheese. It tasted more like a cheeseburger. It was honestly disgusting. The alcoholic drinks are heavily overpriced so I didn’t get to try it. My husband & I love Mexican food and had really high hopes because of the reviews. My two favorite things are usually the sides.. which I’m not sure if it was the kitchen or the servers fault but it stated on the menu that the enchiladas came with spanish rice and refried beans. I only received rice. The spanish rice was extremely dry & my husbands refried beans looked unappetizing. It looked watery and strange. Neither of them were good. The enchiladas barely had any chicken in them. It tasted like the frozen ones you can get from Walmart. My husband ordered the steak burrito which said it had peppers and onions inside and it was only cheap watery flank steak. He asked if they could add a little queso on top. This thing came out SMOTHERED in that cheeseburger queso. The moment it sat the table I said something to the server. She asked if we wanted anything to go. The only thing worth taking home was our soda. We just asked for the check after taking a couple bites, waited 20 mins for it, paid and left immediately just to end up leaving the to go drinks behind. Such a shame. This place is SO beautiful but the food is low quality & very expensive. We spent 55$ on the two of us. Save your money.

Yelp
Chuy's hit the spot--saucy, satisfying, and made for sauce lovers. Bold, big portions, and super chill dinner. We came in expecting a good meal--and that's exactly what we got. We started with thin, crunchy chips and an array of daily house-made sauces that honestly deserve their own spotlight. Chuy's really shines with its sauce selection. Most are complimentary (a few cost an extra buck or two), and they're worth trying. Next-level bold sauces/dips--way better than your average queso--and many included with the meal. Current favorite? The creamy green chile sauce. I needed a drink for thirsty Thursday after work relaxation. I went for the Large Tumbler (Texas-sized) Paloma, which came with a sparkly pink rim dusted in Tajin. Made with Blanco tequila, grapefruit, ruby red vodka served with a lime--it was tangy, salty, citrusy, and refreshing. For my main, I went with the "Big As Yo' Face" Burritos, choice-stuffed with fajita chicken, refried beans, and cheese. I paid the extra $2 for their Boom-Boom sauce, and no regrets there--it was gooey, flavorful, and just totally smothered over the big burrito. The Mexican rice was bland, but it didn't matter. My partner ordered the Green Chile Relleno Combo, which I finished. It was the fried chile relleno stuffed - Hatch Chili with chicken and cheese. This was fried, heavily breaded, and a delicious spicy kick. Soo good. We sat at the bar, which wasn't too busy--service was chill and attentive, which kept us away from all the busy areas of the location.

Yelp
This was our family's first time dining here, and it was a great experience. We stopped by around 5 PM for dinner, and service was excellent. We ordered their Chuychanga, Chicken Flautas, and Taco & Enchilada Combo. While we were waiting for our order, we were pleasantly surprised by their free chips, salsa, and creamy jalapeño dip. These chips were so light, crispy, and delicious! Their dining rooms are decorated brightly and fun. We enjoyed our food and the service, and will definitely be back!

Yelp
It's an interesting theme to this place. It's a mix of old diner with Mexican food. The service was quick and they have fun drinks on the menu. The food are huge portions but overall good experience but can be overwhelming!

Yelp
I come here for the Baja shrimp tacos and that's about it. Everything else I've had has been fine but the shrimp tacos are absolutely delicious! The chips and salsa that they give you to start with is also above average for most Tex-Mex places like this one. Their service has never been great though. Most of the time I'm lucky if I can get one refill during the entire meal. I don't know if the servers have too many tables or if they just don't care, but it's consistently an issue. They could also do better keeping the bathrooms clean. The men's bathroom is always a disaster.

Yelp
Service for lunch outstanding. No wait. Coke products with Coke Zero Thank you!!! Home made chips Home made pique Home made white cream jalapeño sauce for chips very unique - imagine a spicy ranch. Paper straws suck! Actually they don't suck which is why they suck! Ambiance is fun - casual but date night worthy. I opted for the steak burrito in the deluxe tomateo sauce. I choose well. Wish they had black beans to offer as a side but all in all great food great value great experience!

Yelp
I went with a party of 15 people. It was challenging to get the tables together, but the staff was very helpful. They gave us free chips with queso and pico de Gallo. They were amazing! They were refilling our chips with warmer every time. I ordered the chuychanga with the tex mex sauce. It was big and flavorful. The texture mex sauce was spicy, and all together was perfect! I also try a bit of the soft tacos with steak. The steak was very tasty with a nice grill flavor. Unfortunately, hours after eating, I got a stomachache, but I did not last a long time.

Yelp
I typically order takeout and food is great as well as service. I recommend: Main Entrees -Chicken Flautas -Beef Fajitas -Beef Fajita Burrito -Queso -Guacamole -Flour tortillas order them by the dozen My only complaint is that every single takeout order I receive is always missing something so I think they need to work on paying more attention when they pack orders. Other then that food is always great.

Yelp
Chuy's always has great food, especially enchiladas! Our server was very friendly and attentive, and even brought out a water bowl for my dog. The outdoor seating area was really nice. I'd definitely come back and it's a great dog friendly restaurant!

Yelp
This place had great customer service and food. I came with a large group and even though they were already serving other large groups, they figured out a solution to still seat my group and efficiently serve us. I tried the steak tacos, they were delicious. I liked that they had the toppings on the side so I can add them to the taco as much or as little as I liked. Everyone else I was with also enjoyed their meal. There's lots of interesting decorations and pictures inside. Afterwards, my stomach hurt, but it was worth it.

Yelp
I was in Gainesville for an overnight and stumbled upon this place. I'm aware it's a chain but I've never been before. I came in for a quick bite and the service was extremely fast surprisingly considering they had a large crowd. I ordered the special in the boat when I walked in, I do love a chili relleno! So it wasn't exactly traditional as it was fried with what perhaps was panko but it was still tasty. The server was very friendly and I couldn't ask for more as far as the service goes. Definitely worth a shot if you are in the area.....

Yelp
Always love Chuy's! The food and service is great. We especially love the ranch jalapeño sauce.

Yelp
It's not the first time in this place, but since Chuys opened in Gainesville years ago, I always go often. The food is very tasty and delicious. They serve a lot for the price, and even though princesa went up after Covi19, the quality has not changed, which is why I always come back. Additionally, the employees are very friendly, and everything is very clean. But unfortunately, something happened today that made me think. When we finished eating, as we almost always do, we asked for chips and salsa to go. And the waitress brought me a bag , and it was for me to put the chips that I had left, I'm confused, and then she brings the creamy jalapeño. When I saw the receipt, I realized that they charged me for the sauce, and then I got more confused. You will wonder why, because in the many years eating at this place, this is the first time that they have charged me $2.80 for 4oz of sauce, and they bring me a bag to take the chips that I had left on the table. The economy is bad there, that they have to charge for something, which differentiates them from the other Texmec restaurants. I'm just thinking. Well, that's is not something that is going to influence me so that I do not go back again. Because they anyway have the best creamy jalapeño sauce, what I think is they should not charge for it.

Yelp
place was amazing, the wait staff Anthony was amazing, food was amazing. Walked in the door the place was clean and had a great atmosphere and decor. Anthony was extremely helpful with the menu and making suggestions. Drinks came out quickly. What felt like five minutes our food was on the table. not sure if it was the great conversation I was having with my wife lol. I liked how thin and crispy the chips were. The taco was seasoned well and extra crispy as well. I liked all of the options of dipping sauce that was presented.

Yelp
This a great Mexican restaurant in a big college town. Portions are huge! We always have left overs! Great hangover food for next day!

Yelp
Have been several Chuys and the food and service is always good. The jalapeño ranch salsa is addictive. We usually order the nachos, also very good. Will continue to visit Chuys!

Yelp
Best Mexican food ever. Pricing on the plates are just right. My personal favorite is the Elvis combo, best bang for your buck. They load up plates on to-go orders so you get the same portion as in house dining. Service is always great. It feels so cozy and authentic with all the decorations around the restaurant it's a wonderful experience.

Yelp
There are any number of Tex-Mex restaurants in Gainesville, ranging from authentic to just a step above Taco Bell. Fittingly, Chuy's sits directly behind Taco Bell... I came here on a Saturday night with a group of friends. The place was busy but we got a corner table for our medium-sized party without a wait. Our server was attentive and was able to remember everyone's orders without writing them down. I got The Elvis Presley Memorial Combo, which included a seasoned ground beef enchilada with Tex-Mex Sauce, a chicken enchilada with Tomatillo Sauce, a cheese enchilada with Ranchero Sauce, and a crispy taco, with homemade tostada chips with a side of queso for dipping. It is also served with Mexican rice and refried beans. The portion size was the best thing about this dish - it was massive. Flavor wise, it was okay, really nothing that stood out compared to other Tex-Mex places across Gainesville or anywhere else in the country I have been. The prices were average and overall the experience was just fine.

Yelp
Food is excellent with a great atmosphere! This is a great Tex Mex restaurant! Service is always attentive!

Yelp
It's OK. Depends on the staff working that day I guess. Some visits, with a great wait staff / manager, the place runs efficiently, you get great (and friendly) service, and a great time. Others, it's as if you are providing an inconvenience by being there and they are simply annoyed by your presence. Food is OK. There's certainly much better in town (and some that are truly local, family owned establishments). The location is convenient and the ambiance / decor is great. Pricing is a bit high for being just "OK," but you certainly won't leave hungry.

Yelp
It's OK. The menu is very limited. I like the feel of the place and the service was good. The food was meh. The chips were literally the highlight.

Yelp
WORST Tex-Mex I have ever had. Cheat you out of the mixed fajitas by charging additional for 10 shrimp!! Beef tuff little flavor NO salt. The only bright spot was our server and the ability to get as many napkins as we needed!! Oh and the tequila EXCELLENT!!!

Yelp
We stopped for a quick lunch and I wasn't expecting such delicious food! I don't know why I didn't have high hopes. Maybe the reviews and number of stars listed on Yelp BUT boy was I pleasantly surprised. The complimentary tortilla chips are homemade and were one of the best I've ever tried from a restaurant. The salsa was similar to pico de gallo and their signature green/ ranch looking dip was VERY good! I think it's a jalapeño ranch dip? I might be wrong but whatever it is, I couldn't stop eating it. I smothered my burrito in it too! I guess I jumped too quick to my dinner choice. I ordered the ground beef burrito. It was a good sized portion. Included a side of rice and lettuce & tomato. The flavor of the beef was extremely good. I mean, they really know how to season their meet. My daughter ordered the steak taco salad and of course I had to try it. The steak was cut into perfect little cubes but the taste.... Oh my gosh! So juicy and full of flavor. It was seasoned very well but not salty. It was perfect! I was blown away with how everything tasted. I will definitely be coming back very soon! This place will NOT disappoint. Oh forgot to mention, the staff is super friendly. Another big plus is that the food was served quickly and our waitress kept checking on us and was happy to bring us extra sauces and complimentary tortilla chips. Wish we could've kept eating chips. They were THAT GOOD!

Yelp
Chuy's has grown considerably since it was started in Austin Texas back in 1982 by Mike Young and John Zapp. It boasts bigger than your face burritos and other Tex-Mex favorites. I have been to a couple of locations now and honestly, I have always been a bit underwhelmed. Chuy's does have a lot of good things. I like the garish ambience of the restaurant. I believe that I heard that when they open they didn't have a lot of money to decorate, so they just went to second hand stores and made due. Regardless if that story is true or not, I do like the ambiance of this place. Tacky can be cool and chic in its own way. Be advised that the menu is definitely text Mex, so if you're looking for a more Mexican experience, you will probably be let down. My server was friendly and outgoing and I applaud her professionalism and she made my experience here at this restaurant infinitely better. I guess the reason for three stars a specifically the food. It is not that it is terrible. It is just middle of the road, typical chain restaurant food offering. I guess that should be expected. Chuy's is a national chain restaurant. This could be a fun restaurant to go with friends, but if you're looking for a more solid dining experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Yelp
This was our first visit and our server was definitely out to impress us...and he did. Usually when I ask what a good drink from their menu would be, everyone starts stuttering...this guy was on game..."Margaritas? I'd definitely say these two (gestured to the drink menu) are the best tasting...but this Grand Ma's Rockin' Rita is the best of the best because of the 1800 Tequila and the extra Grand Marnier they put in it...plus we make our OWN sour mix here. Nothing but fresh lime juice and syrup, so the drinks are the best..". So that's what I ordered. If this is indicative of the rest of our night, it's going to be top notch! The creamy jalapeño sauce he brought us to try with our order of beef queso was put of this world! The homemade salsa was way spicy for me, but the creamy jalapeño sauce knocked it out of the ballpark with flavor! We even poured the last of in with our queso so the enjoyment lasted that much longer! We both are getting the chuychonga, which is their chimichanga...but since I'm already beginning to pay for the queso...I've asked for no sour cream...for tex-mex sauce instead (I'm allergic to milk--not lactose intolerant, literally allergic to the milk protein itself). And the chimichanga was absolutely delicious!! We've had the appetizer, the dinner (and we're both stuffed to the gills!) and now for dessert. Have to. Only 6 churro bites to split and even if we can't finish them, the dog will. Already bringing her part of our dinner...so she'll be one happy dog! Six lil churro bites and we couldn't make it thru them! One lil one goes home. We're so stuffed we just can't make either one of us eat that last lil churro....whew! It's going to be a looooong ride home Thanks to Daniel, our server, for being so helpful, insightful and funny. Great service deserves a great tip. Tip your awesome servers well!! We will be back again!!

Yelp
Every time we go to Gainesville. This place is a MUST. I always get an enchilada and my boyfriend gets the steak burrito 10/10

Yelp
So I'm glad I met Kelly the bar tender, she was the BOMB. She had a great attitude and made the visit very entertaining. That being said, the food was also spot on. The Elvis combo was terrific, Kelly recommended this dish and it was a great choose. Each item had a great taste and it was almost too much, almost. I had a signature margarita with a corona stuck in it and although I'm not a fruity drink kind of guy, this was a great addition to the dinner. I was going to get a dessert but it was late in the evening but Kelly made sure they didn't kick me out. AND, they gave me a military discount. This is definitely a place I will come back to when I'm in town again.

Yelp
Service was slow and I wasn't sure why since the restaurant was pretty empty. Our server went MIA and we had to chase him down for everything except for when he popped in twice to refill our water. At one point we asked hostess up front who was eating flan if she could get the server and she told us to wait but we were in a hurry anyways we sat back down and asked another server in the kitchen entry way for help paying our bill. Food was hot and prepared quickly . We got the Elvis and split between the both of us. It is a lot of food that can easily be shared between two people for around $14. Would come again but not sure what time since it was slow and service was just not the best.
google avatar

Yelp
Really, enchiladas with no enchilada sauce? Dry tortilla and chicken (in limited quantity). Service was good considering it was Sunday after a football game and was very busy. Friend ordered shrimp tacos and seemed pleased. Ambience loud but interesting. Will not go back any time soon.
google avatar

Tanya A.

Yelp
I love coming here for their frozen swirl but we couldn't help noticing the menu change and the empty restaurant. This place is usually packed on a Friday night. Instead we were able to be seated right away. Not a problem. The menu is very different. Noticeably there is no pork on it. Thought I'd try my usual taco salad and it was like a lazy man's taco salad. It had no flavor and their were strips going across my salad. My husband's burrito was just a hot mess. I don't think we will be coming back anytime soon.
google avatar

Yelp
Consistent, delicious, friendly staff! Margarita's are always delicious! They have huge portions!

Yelp
I had go to back to a lower rating because for every 1 good experience I have here, I have 2 or 3 bad ones. The service and food are normally a miss and rarely a hit. I recently visited when there was over an hour wait. It took another 30 minutes of being seated before a waitress came to the table. We were constantly running out of drinks and chips, chasing down our waitress for refills, then one of the meals came out completely wrong. The plate was sent back to the kitchen where they tried to save some parts of the meal that were correct and scrape off the ones that weren't, but that didn't fly due an allergy to an ingredient. Kitchen finally remade the dish, but it took forever to come out and staff was disgruntled. Then it took a long time to get a box and a check. You're better off with other local Mexican places.

Angela L.

Yelp
Sat down was there approximately 20 seconds and one roach appeared on the table and BY MY HEAD on the booth...needless to say we got up and left FAST!

Yelp
Man, do we love Chevy's..er,.. Chuy's!! Great service (thanks Dawn and front desk staff!) and really perfect food and drinks. The house made tortillas are excellent! Waitress brought us out a sampler plate of all the sauces with our chips-very helpful. My son and I did fajita combo- steak and chicken. Excellent, tender, it foo many filler onions-fresh tortillas made on site, excellent! Daughter had chicken burritos and my wife had the sampler platter-it came sauced, she wished she'd gotten the sauce on the side but it was all really good. Thanks, see you for sure next time we are up!

Dianne P.

Yelp
The chips were thin and hot just like I like them. The Salas were terrific. I had enchiladas with beans and rice and a side taco. The taco was so darned good! The beans and rice were good as were the beef enchiladas. My friend had an Elvis special and it was a lot of food! Fantastic food! He agreed that the taco was one of the best. I can't wait to come back. This is my stop when passing by Gainesville!

Yelp
the restaurant was very busy and we had to wait a bit to get a table, keep on mind it was parents' weekwnd at UF, but it was totally worth the wait, the food quality was superb, and our waiter was great, overall, this establishment was on point. Great food, great atmosphere. It has been a while since I've had such a positive experience at a restaurant.

Yelp
To begin with I am a fan of this place, and while I have never been to this location, it held up will against the others. Great service, I was left alone to enjoy my meal and get some work done. I got the Chicken Quesadillas. They are perfect and its all I ever get. I did get a half a side of queso (I love cheese) and dipped my quesadillas in that, just perfect. Working Lunch suit

Yelp
This TexMex chain has everything you want. Chips come with chunky salsa and their signature green pepper dip. My frozen house margarita came nice and tart. For a sweeter option, try the black berry margarita. I got the steak burrito. It was huge and the steak bits were tender and juicy. I was pleasantly surprised by the green pepper sauce on the burrito: both flavorful and noticeably spicey. We finished our meal by sharing a brick of tres leches between three of us. It was ridiculously moist. If you've never had tres leches cake, i would highly recommend Chuy's for your first bite. And all of this culinary fiesta takes place in a riot of flamboyant Mexican-themed kitsch. The decor is uninhibited fun. 5* = incredible (rare) 4* = very good/ strong desire to return 3* = generally good experience 2* = poor/ no desire to return 1* = a particularly awful experience

Yelp
loved my experience at chuys! the atmosphere inside was very unique. our waiter was fantastic we had such great service. the food was good too. we got chicken flautas and chicken fajita quesadillas.

Yelp
DYLAN R AND LACEY ARE THE BEST SERVERS EVER!!! We were an 8 top table with very complex orders and he made no mistakes! Our chips, dips, and drinks were always full. The food was delicious and had large servings. Overall it was an amazing experience in a fun lively restaurant and Dylan made it phenomenonal

Yelp
I'm from Houston, and if I were in Houston now, I would give Chuy's 3 stars (there are like 5 Chuy's in the Houston area approx), assuming the restaurant was at the top of its game. But I am in Gainesville now, and compared to the other Mexican offerings here (and believe me, I have tried it all), I am giving this Chuy's 4 stars. A big negative for Chuy's in my opinion is that it's over-priced. You can get much better, more authentic Mexican food in Houston for lower prices-- while watching the tortillas being made at your table. Chuy's is taking advantage of us because that does not exist here. The Chuy's menu is limited and lacking so far as I am concerned, and is missing the traditional dishes I miss from southeast Texas... HOWEVER, Chuy's has creative, unique dishes on the menu that are quite delicious and definitely worth trying. You won't find them anywhere else. The dips are YUM. Don't skip those. It can satisfy many of my Tex-Mex cravings-- especially in the realm of fajitas, guac, & queso-- and because of that, I greatly appreciate that Chuy's is here. If you're craving Mexican food and like a little heat, you'll enjoy Chuy's. El Indio is a cheaper Tex-Mex option in Gainesville that satisfies some other cravings like genuine Southeastern Texas cheese enchiladas, without costing much at all, Be sure to check it out too. Both places are worth trying. Chuy's has good, pleasant service and a nice atmosphere.

Yelp
This was our favorite Mexican place, we would order the steak fajitas every time we went there and it was so good we would go once or twice a month! We had family in town so we all went out to dinner only to discover that the homemade tortillas that used to be our favorite were now replaced with a tortilla press and are awful. I am so disappointed, and also embarrassed since I just finished raving about this place being the best only for the food to be awful now. Unfortunately we won't be coming back after this. Bummer!

Yelp
Clean, COVID compliant wherever I looked, but I will say, freezing, and unfortunately, so cold the food cooled down too quickly! We shared guacamole, excellent, and loved the freshly made chips and salsa. He had steak burrito with a tomatillo sauce, side of rice and small salad. The burrito was humongous and even with his hearty appetite, half was enough. Steak was tender, rice well cooked. I mentioned I was freezing so I had a bowl of the tortilla soup, steamy hot when served, loaded with tender chicken, avocados, fresh lime... wonderful ! Pictures attached. Ladies room spotless, restaurant clean, cute patio ...next time we are on a TJ run, will try it again. We will be eating leftovers tomorrow!

Yelp
(Writing as someone with a gluten allergy!) There aren't a ton of menu options I can have, but the ones I've eaten (the nachos) were good! A little pricy but the restaurant atmosphere is fun. Good service for the most part as well!

Yelp
The ambiance is fair, nothing special. The service was fine, but the food was marginal at best and made my whole family sick. The tortoise were bland, the chicken tasted funny and the rice was hard. Really not a great experience. Two stars because unfortunately, I've had worse. And certainly below average so doesn't make 3. Too bad, was decent 4-5 years ago.

Yelp
Went for lunch, large portions average food. Worst margarita I ever drank. At best it was a bad lemonade.

Yelp
Paid $277 for a "fajita bar" for 13 people. $21 per person and most of us had one fajita. This wasn't even catered. We picked it up. It was good but $277 was beyond a ripoff. Never again.

Yelp
Great restaurant! The chips are thin and crispy. They go perfectly with the jalapeño ranch dip. These alone make this place worth the stop. The service is great and attentive. I love the steak tacos al carbon. You can't lose with these tacos. The meat is flavorful and grilled perfectly. If you are looking for something lighter, then try the mexi-cobb salad. This is a satisfying salad with all the right ingredients. The diced avocados are ripe and the fajitas chicken leaves you wanting another bite. This is not authentic Mexican food but it is authentic Tex Mex. You won't go wrong eating here.

Yelp
Generous portion size and reasonable prices! Cute decors inside the restaurant. Servers are always friendly and helpful. Will visit again!
