Chuy's Pembroke Pines, Florida - Review - Pembroke Pines - Miami - The Infatuation

"Chuy’s is a chain of Tex-Mex restaurants from Texas with a location in Pembroke Pines. They serve solid versions of Tex-Mex favorites like nachos, quesadillas, chimichangas, and lots of queso that are better than most Tex-Mex restaurants in South Florida. What makes them distinct from the others is their selection of sauces that you can smother a burrito, chimichanga, or enchilada with. Their boom-boom sauce is a Chuy’s original and what you should be ordering: roasted green chiles, tomatillos, cilantro, scallions, and cheese. The Mexican-style tres leches dessert is enormous but very light and not too sweet. It’s a fun spot where you can linger after dinner and knock back a few margaritas. The dining room is full of bright colors, mismatched Cuban tile flooring, and kitschy wall art. It’s also casual enough to pop into on a weeknight in sweats and flip-flops." - Carlos C Olaechea

I got to this place for the drinks. Went here with a guy friend to catch up, and it was the perfect environment to do so. I loved my Chimichanga, but my friends thoughts are: We had an additional charge to take extra guacamole and sour cream home, but the meal itself gave us a scoop of it to begin with (will include pictures of the scoop).

Google
This establishment should have a higher rating than it does. First time with a group of friends and I loved it. The service was great, the food was delicious, barely a wait time and the vibes were nice. The food is very flavorful and came out fresh. Definitely recommend for nice day our or group gatherings.

We recently visited Chuy’s for the first time ever and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious! Great taste and freshly made! The chips and dips were so good! We shared a tortilla soup that was very tasty and large! My husband got the triple fajitas, they came with unlimited tortillas and a great portion of guacamole, sour cream, cheese, lettuce and of course pico! I ordered the Chuychanga with the tomatillo sauce and not one piece was left on the plate! The special touch was the creamy jalapeño sauce….. do it, trust me! The cherry on the top, honestly was our waiter, Alberto. He was so sweet! He explained the menu to us as first timers, gave us great suggestions for food and was very attentive to us. We will definitely be back and requesting Alberto’s section! Enjoy a picture of the food, sorry we had already started digging in!

A Tex-Mex Paradise at Chuy's Pembroke Pines If you’re craving genuine Tex-Mex flavor and a vibrant atmosphere in Pembroke Pines, Chuy's is the place to be. The restaurant delivers an exceptional dining experience, combining bold flavors with a unique, lively setting. Chuy's stands out because it brings you authentic Tex-Mex made fresh daily. The commitment to freshness is evident in every dish, from the crisp chips to the rich sauces. Their menu features delicious recipes inspired by the rich traditions of South Texas, New Mexico, and Mexican border towns, ensuring an authentic taste profile that goes beyond typical chain offerings. Must-Try Dishes The menu offers plenty of highlights, but a few items are absolute must-tries. You need to indulge in their famous Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom enchiladas, which are a customer favorite for a reason—the creamy sauce and tender chicken create a fantastic balance of heat and comfort. Don’t skip the hand-rolled tortillas; they are served warm and are perfect for soaking up every bite. And be prepared to get hooked on the signature creamy jalapeño dip. This appetizer is legendary and instantly elevates the start of your meal. The Experience Beyond the food, you’ll experience vibrant Tex-Mex flavor and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere at your Pembroke Pines Chuy's. The restaurant’s decor is eclectic and fun, making every visit feel like a celebration. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch or a lively dinner with friends, the ambiance adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the excellent food. Chuy’s in Pembroke Pines offers a delightful escape into the world of fresh, authentic Tex-Mex, making it a highly recommended spot for anyone seeking bold flavors and a memorable time.

Google
I had a fantastic experience at Chuy’s in Pembroke Pines thanks to our incredible waiter, Alberto. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made great menu suggestions, kept our drinks full, and checked in at all the right times without ever being overbearing. Alberto had a great attitude and treated us like valued guests—he made the whole meal more enjoyable. Chuy’s is lucky to have someone like him on the team. If you’re dining here, ask for Alberto—you won’t be disappointed!

We always have a great experience at Chuy’s in Pines, and this visit was no exception! The food is consistently delicious and full of flavor. This time, we were taken care of by Anthony, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It’s always a fun and reliable spot for a tasty meal and great service. Highly recommend!

Google
Visited for the first time a few weeks ago to explore different lunch options. Ate at the bar and so far it has been a pretty positive overall experience. The food is good. For a chain restaurant I was shocked to learn they make their stuff from scratch. Lots of limes. Margaritas are good. Enchiladas are great. Go for the beef. Frozen mango margarita are tasty. Staff is friendly but def seems under staffed at times. Worth coming by for a quick bite.

Yelp
I love it! The inside is beautiful and the food is great too. I went with my husband and we had dinner inside. We usually order takeout from this restaurant. The food taste always authentic. This time we decided to sit inside the restaurant. The staffs are all super friendly. We had the pleasure to be served by Megan and she was very sweet and kind. She was always checking up on us to make sure that we were okay. The food was also delivered to us pretty quick. My favorite from Chuy is the Queso dip. I wish I knew how to make it. It is just amazing!! The decor is also very authentic Mexican which we loved. We will definitely continue to eat inside instead of ordering takeout. The experience was great and we loved it.

Yelp
We didn't realize this was a sit down place but none the less it is still a good. Their portions however are huge so go hungry. The food was all good and spicy as well. The decor was super cute. Reminded me of Texas a bit, specifically El Paso. Our waitress was great as well. I would come back as a casual get together but the tres leche cake was a bit dry towards the top. I am wondering if it's cause we got the absolute last piece

Yelp
Wasn't a fan of the sauces but it's authentic, food was ok but servers great bright ambiance

Yelp
After recently visiting Chuy's for the first time, I can say that it is a solid Tex-Mex chain. They have large portions that justify the price. The food is flavorful and can be customized to your liking. I enjoyed the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom enchilada with the chicken substituted for beans. It came out hot and covered with a cheesy and spicy sauce. The only thing that could use improvement was the salsa because it tasted like it was store-bought. The servers were friendly and attentive. They were also able to give suggestions off the menu and adjust the items to our dietary needs. The restaurant was clean and had a modern tropical theme. Parking was easy because the restaurant is in a strip mall. I would visit again on a night out with friends.

Yelp
Chuy's is a great place to enjoy some Mexican food. This location offers indoor and outdoor patio seating. The menu offers different options such as guacamole, queso, enchiladas, burritos, tacos, fajitas and desserts! Chuy's also starts your meal with free chips and salsa and their creamy jalapeño sauce which is delicious!! Can't remember the last time a restaurant offered a free snack like this. We ordered the "big as yo' face burrito" which was topped in any sauce you choose and the enchiladas with the sauce on the side. Both came with rice, some lettuce and tomatoes and the enchiladas came with refried beans. Portions were very large and the food was delicious! Tip: use the creamy jalapeño sauce on everything! Overall, a really delicious meal.

Yelp
Great authentic Mexican food!! I go to Mexico every year and believe me this is the closest you're going to get to Mexican food without traveling.

Yelp
Always a delicious meal. Tasty food, big portions, attentive service and great value. Finished tonight's meal with the scrumptious Tres Leches.

Yelp
I was here for an end of the year party and was impressed with the quality and quantity of food that was served. We had a buffet with soft tacos. They had both flour and corn tortillas. The toppings were so fresh, especially the guacamole and the cheese. There was chicken and steak for the tacos. I had the steak and will be going back again soon. I loved that they had sauteed onion and green peppers. For a Tex-Mex restaurant chain, I was impressed. Even though we were a large crowd, drinks were served quickly and service was excellent. They had enough staff on hand which was nice. Often with a group over twenty-five, you end up waiting long periods of time. The manager was on hand and was checking to make sure that the buffet was set up just right. Our staff decorated and the place looked amazing. Chuy's is fun and the decorations are colorful. It puts you in a good mood just walking in. It had been years since I have been to a Chuy's. I'm not sure why but I won't wait as long next time.

Yelp
Food was ok, but not even close to the quality of Azteca. Service was quick and good

Yelp
Mouth water dish the Elvis Presley combo was a heck of a surprise. Service was wow ! Very friendly, sweet, polite, offered to bring all the sauces to try (so sweet and silly of her to offer) server was funny and made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The setting was fun. This place is very large therefore, great for large groups. Enjoy! Eat well. Order and try anything ! I wish there chicken had a bit more of flavor but it seems to be roasted chicken it is very soft and tender though.

Yelp
I placed a take out order at the take out entrance. The server was very friendly and attentive -- at the beginning. The food (appetizer plate) was tasty, slightly greasy and the sauces were very good. It was a generous portion -- I couldn't eat it all and didn't even have one tortilla chip from the huge bag that came with the order. What I learned was you have to ask for your order. I sat there after placing the order probably 15 minutes, minimum and I finally asked and it had been sitting there -- on it's way to getting cold. The employees hustle there but wish they would have told me my order was ready. While I was there 3-4 people came in and picked up orders but two placed their orders at the counter. The price was reasonable too. I will definitely come back.

Yelp
This was only my 2nd time eating at Chuys. I like how they give you a choice of sauces with your meal. I don't like that it's not included in the price of the meal. Our waiter Alberto , did something that I thought was unique. After your order was placed, he repeated your order and described it's ingredients; just in case you wanted to leave something off. Kudos ALBERTO. I'll definitely visit again.

Yelp
We had a fantastic meal and were taken care of by Alberto, our special server!! He is kind, caring and fast! Our other favorites were there as well.. Carlos, Sophia, Tiffany and Isaiah. This is a fabulous restaurant where you can meet the manager and the chef! You can't go wrong with this super fab Mexican restaurant!!

Yelp
This was my first time at this location and I enjoyed the tacos and salad!! The food was fresh and good. I really enjoyed the dipping sauces. The chips were light and crispy. They have a good happy hour of $5 drinks and more. I had the strawberry margarita. It was full of juice and too sweet. It was missing the alcohol The location is very bright and welcoming. They love dogs and fishes. Pictures of dogs in the bar area. They have tvs to enjoy sports. They have an outdoor eating area, too. It's a pretty big location with a lot of fun art, paintings and pictures. It's worth checking out this location because the staff was professional and pleasant.

Yelp
Mexican chain restaurant that has pretty good portions. Our server Isaiah (spelling?!) was amazing: friendly, knowledgeable, would come back to check on us. He made the whole experience even better! The meat on the fajitas? YUM!! The taco salad with their creamy jalapeño sauce? Out of this world. Oh! And their frozen peach sangria was delicious. Their churros was the only thing that was ok but it was only because the caramel sauce wasn't enough. They needed a chocolate dipping sauce also. Overall though, the experience in this particular location was good. Specially because of the server. He was very good!

Yelp
Got the steak burrito. Steak quality was 4/10. The rice was hard and no flavor 4/10. The salsa and cheese dip with the tortilla chips were really good 8/10. The beans were also pretty good 7.5/10. Would I go again? No. Did I have to wait 30 min for my food to come? Yes.... Best of luck!

Yelp
I love this place, my favorite is the chips and the creamy jalapeño sauce. I always order the chicken tortilla soup and chicken fajitas never been disappointed. Oh and since I don't drink but I get their Root Beer ( the best one so far and always cold). Albertico and Carlos are 2 of the top waiters, always attentive and always giving great suggestions. If you want great service ask for them

Yelp
The food was delicious! The service was nice and the server had no problems with changing our order if there was a mistake or if it was incorrect-Thank you Chris. The ambiance was really nice,it was like a retro and old school type dinner. Over all,it was a nice experience and I would definitely recommend coming here.

Yelp
**Vegetarian Friendly** Massive tex-mex restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor dining. Outdoor space is larger than expected. Complimentary: Chips, Salsa, and Creamy Jalapeno Sauce Appetizers: Queso and Nachos Entree: (1) Bean Enchiladas with Boom Boom Sauce, (2) Veggie Chuychanga, with Boom Boom Sauce and (3) Bean and Rice Burrito with Boom Boom Sauce We enjoyed everything! We LOVE the Boom Boom Sauce - it's the perfect blend of creamy and spicy. Double thumbs up for having veggie friendly beans AND rice! Unsure of what sauce you want? Ask for a taste tester before ordering. They're great about it! Truly, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. We can't wait to come back. PRO TIP: Join the waitlist via Google.

Yelp
My parents have been raving about this place, so I decided to give it a try. We went Saturday, around noon and it wasn't super busy, front server got us a table pretty quick. We asked for a high chair for our kid, never got one had to ask again after 10 mins. They brought some chips and salsa and some kind of cilantro ranch dip, which was pretty good. I got the steak burrito and my wife got the deep fried chicken burrito. The food came out really fast, maybe like 7 mins we had our food. Everything was hot and super tasty. The best part was the pricing is super affordable, you get a ton of food for the price. The only issue I could really find was the waiter, he wasn't really on point, no refills, he took our order and then checked on our food and brought the check. Overall, really great food at a really good price.

Yelp
When it comes to Tex-Mex dining, it doesn't get much better than Chuy's. I've ordered takeout from here multiple times without any issues & the couple of times I've dined in have been enjoyable. The servers have always been efficient when it comes to taking orders, running out food, refilling drinks & all around being pleasurable. The times it's been busy, the food came out reasonably quick & the times it isn't too crowded even quicker! It's a casual restaurant like most Tex-Mex spots so no need to bust out that suit & tie. Their complimentary chips/salsa are phenomenal. The chips are thin, always warm & never come out drenched in oil like some other places. Their pico is very good, but the creamy jalapeño salsa is next level. It has a subtle spicy kick that slowly builds up with each chip-full. I warn you now: don't get carried away eating them because they'll be refilled & before you know it you won't have any room left for your entree! Usually I get their soft tacos & love them but on my most recent visit I got the taco/enchilada combo which comes with a crispy taco & cheese enchilada with Tex-Mex Sauce. However, they give you the option to choose from one of their MANY sauces if you want to change it & I got mine with the deluxe tomatillo. All I can say is I now have a new favorite dish because it was fantastic. It comes with rice & refried beans on the side which makes it the perfect size for a plentiful meal. If you haven't heard of (or had) Chuy's before, I'm sorry you're missing out.

Yelp
Pretty decent Tex-Mex place. The decor and service were the best parts. My friend I came here for dinner at around 6pm and were greeted and seated immediately. My friend was raving about their creamy jalapeño sauce, but it wasn't something that I particularly liked. The salsa was amazing, though. We ordered queso as an app, and it was a weird tasting one. Not sure how to describe it, but it didn't taste like cheese at all. It reminded me of pancake batter? I was starving, so I absolutely ate it. For my entree, I ordered the chicken flautas. I ordered the coconut mojito, and it was surprisingly really good. Very minty and good coconut flavor. They were a little dry, but good otherwise. Inside was very brightly decorated with a tropical, diner vibe, with paintings of Mexican celebrities and Elvis on the way. I want to make a special mention for our server, Britni. She was very attentive and was always a step of head of what we'd want. I asked for a small cup of queso and she knew it was happy hour, and brought a full size bowl because it would be cheaper. For our to go boxes, she brought extra, fresh sauces, and chips without been asked. She was genuinely great, and if I go back, I hope to be sat in her section again. She gets 5 stars from me.

Yelp
I've been a huge Chuy's fan for years and am just now finally actually writing a review. The atmosphere is fun and colorful. When you sit, they give you chips, salsa, and a creamy jalapeño sauce. I don't normally like jalapeño, but I could eat a gallon of this stuff. It's so good and not overly spicy. I always get the Big as Yo Face Burrito. They're not joking. That thing is as big as my head. It's also super customizable with a bunch of unique sauce options and choice of meat. Their margaritas are also really good. I always go for the seasonal flavors, which are always amazing.

Yelp
Tried chuys tonight for the first time for dinner with a girlfriend. The restaurant decor stands out the moment you walk in, super cute decor that goes with the Tex mex theme of the restaurant. Our server was great, very sweet and attentive. We got a strawberry and raspberry margarita which we both thought were eh nothing special . They give you complimentary chips with salsa and a jalapeño dipping sauce (reminded me of jalapeño ranch--very tasty). My girlfriend had the flatus and I had a combo plate (one beef taco and one cheese enchilada) both came with rice and beans. I wasn't crazy about the cheese enchilada or the Tex mex sauce that came over it but the taco was good. I also enjoyed the rice and beans. Food came fast and the mini churro's for dessert with Carmel dipping sauce was good. Overall I'd go back for a simple quick Mexican meal however nothing really stood out food wise - nothing was bad but the food was not amazing either. Very simple menu items!

Yelp
Excellent experience!! Really amazing fast casual Mexican food with great atmosphere and friendly staff! My husband and I were SO impressed by this spot and already can't wait to go back. Complimentary chips and salsa with some yummy jalapeño crème sauce. I liked to mix the two! As my server said, Don't let that name fool you, the salsa is hotter than the crème! I got tacos Al carbon and my husband got a chicken quesadilla... both were delicious, fresh & they came out so quickly! The drinks were nice and refreshing... I got the skinny margarita and my husband got the Tito's cherry limeade- I liked his drink better! I so loved the inside decor of all the pictures of dogs, it made me so happy! When I come back i will bring a framed photo of my pup for a free yummy appetizer!!! (How cool?!) Well done Chuys on having an all around awesome restaurant!!

Yelp
Used to have a Chuys by my house but it closed during the pandemic so did mini road trip to the next county that has one (the craving for their creamy jalapeño sauce was strong). Went on a Sunday for lunch and we were immediately seated. Our server Isaiah was quick to come to our table and take our order. I have to say, he was amazing and very attentive, always with a smile! You get complimentary chips and salsa (creamy jalapeño is my fav). We ordered the streak fajita which is a decent size and comes with more than enough guac, pico, sour cream, and cheese. Also accompanied by rice and refried beans. Aside from fajita, we ordered the bean burrito which never fails...and of course, I couldn't leave without having their famous margaritas. For the amount of food you get, the price is just right. It should be noted, this is TEX-mex cuisine. Some of the reviews show folks disappointed it wasnt a full on authentic Mexican experience when you go in. Overall recommend. Good spot to go for casual night out, or happy hour.

Yelp
Let's start off by saying that I am not a big Mexican food fan. It just has never been my thing - but my husband is a fan, so I give in once in a while. First...service during our visit was excellent. Our server was friendly, on point & personable. The inside of the restaurant is very big with a combo of tables and booths of varying sizes. On our visit it was empty, so I was surprised that the hostess sat us at a booth meant for 6. All good. Our server started us off with chips and salsa. He also brought out a jalapeño creamy dip. He did warn us that both packed a punch - which made my husband happy. The chips were crisp and fresh. We ordered some guacamole and it was very good. It had some chunks of avocado and I wasn't over cilantroed - I hate cilantro and that is probably why I am not a huge fan Mexican food. I lean towards plant based eating and will eat vegetarian occasionally. I was disappointed that there was no veggie fajita offered as that would have been a great option. A guacamole taco or guacamole taco salad did not appeal to me. When I ordered the quesadilla, I ordered it with out the green chili and the cilantro. When ordered our server was unsure if the kitchen could just do the onion & cheese. They did - but again would have been nice if I could have ordered a veggie quesadilla. My daughter is pescatarian and there appeared to only be 1 shrimp option, so I am happy we didn't bring her. My husband had the fajitas. The portion size was very good and he liked that the veggies were not mushy. His meal came with rice and beans - he's not a bean eater, so I had his beans and they were tasty and supplemented my quesadilla. All in all, the restaurant is very clean. Service was wonderful. The menu was very limited/small. The experience was nice but as a vegan/plant based/vegetarian eater - I don't want lettuce, tomato, onion & guacamole on a taco shell for a meal.

Yelp
Its not what I was expecting. I was surprised to see it was a real restaurant, I thought it was going to be a fast food restaurant. The restaurant itself is really clean, but definitely decorated in a cheesey Mexican motif. The service surprised me, our server, he was fantastic. He was on point for everything he did. The food was really good. They brought out chips, salsa, and a jalapeño cream dipping sauce. The chips were excellent, the salsa was even better, I didn't care for the jalapeño sauce. We ordered an order of guacamole to go with the chips. It was very good and they didn't skimp on the amount. For lunch it was a bit of a challenge for my wife, since they have very options for vegan/vegetarians. She ended ordering from cheese and onion quesadillas. They were pretty good, but would have been better if the had some vegan/vegetarian options. As for me I had the combination fajitas and were they good. They were cooked perfect, the steak and chicken were both tender. The vegetables were not over cooked, and the flavor was fantastic. Other then I could of used one more tortilla there was no shortage of toppings to put in it. It came with beans and rice as well. My wife said the refried beans were very good and I tried the rice and it was good too. The only reason I'm not giving this place four or even five stars is one, the menu is very limited for a Mexican restaurant. And two the lack of other then meat options. There's no fish option, or maybe have impossible/beyond meat or even a portabello mushroom.

Yelp
Always love the service and food so good that I go and drive an hour out every time . Fun to know that every single chuys has its own Easter egg in every single restaurant .

Yelp
There are so many contributing factors to make an experience awesome. This time our experience was just nearly perfect. Ambiance- full star Service- full star Food Presentation- full star Food Taste- full star Value for money- full star We tried their Chicken Flautas, Ground beef enchiladas with bom bom sauce, & guacamole. We also tried their sweetened iced tea. Overall 5 stars

Yelp
Walked right in with plenty of seating inside and outside. They have high chairs and boosters for the kids which is a plus. We got our drinks. Chips and two dips right away so good we had to get seconds in Whatever was in the white dip . Then we got our burritos I got the chicken chimichanga and my husband got the steak burrito we both enjoyed it so much it came with beans and rice and it was so filling and flavorful. We both got queso with it although my husbands was on his burrito mine was underneath so I didn't enjoy it to much. Hopefully next time it will be on it the beans and rice were so good too . The server was nice but barely came back to check on us. And refill our drinks But I will defiantly come back. I loved the atmosphere and food in all. A must go anytime. And they have deals too on certain days. As well as specials

Yelp
A Mexican restaurant by the new plaza at Pines and Palm Avenue. The place has a very cool vibe and ambiance. When you get seated, you get chips and salsa for Appetizers. Sauce may have a little hint of spiciness, so just a heada up. Ordered the Chuychanga and the serving is pretty big. Taste was good and it did not disappoint.

Sandy R.

Yelp
We ordered a chicken burrito & a beef burrito. Huge burrito, with some dry lettuce & stale yellow rice on the side. We tried but couldn't after the third bite. Beef had no flavor, it was hard, & very chewy; chicken was dry lacking flavor, the green sauce was not good at all & the tortilla felt like eating a piece of cardboard. Not eatable. We asked for the check & waiter didn't bother to ask if we didn't like it after we left the plates barely touched. He couldn't care less. I think this is the worst attempt to Mexican food I ever tried. If you microwave a boxed meal it would have more flavor & it would probably look fresher. Really, really bad!

Yelp
Love the ambience! Got to seat outside and enjoy the bra sunset and weather. My server forgot my utensils but I was having tacos sooo hello who needs utensil right!?! LOL but he did bring them once I asked. They greet you with some free Chips, Salsa and this delicious cilantro ranch sauce, could literally have it endlessly. Got to try their chicken flautas and they were amount of crunchy and savory. It comes with 5 flutes, rice, refried beans, sour cream, lettuce and bit of tomato, it's pretty big. It was good I forgot to take pictures.

This is my once a month treat. I have yet experimented with the menu and tried other options but once I find something I LOVE I stick with it. This has NEVER EVER EVER DISAPPOINTED ME! Oh my wow! This is like the best burrito in the world. (If you take the sour cream and spoon a dollop on your burrito and a little salsa oh my wow your taste buds will thank you). The service is amazing. One day I will eat in the restaurant. I haven't yet ate in the restaurant yet. The people are super friendly and nice. This cost $17.22 (with the BoomBoom sauce).. I even know the price of my order!

Yelp
Awesome mexican! My wife and I had been looking for a New Mexican take out joint as the one we've been getting from has recently gone down hill. Chuys, has far exceeded our expectations and the food is excellent! So much so that we've been getting take out from here almost weekly since discovering. The food is fresh and the heat that some of the dishes bring is excellent. The portion size is medium/large and in my opinion perfect! I can't speak on location or dining in but we will be trying soon. If you're looking for a New Mexican restaurant I wouldn't think twice about this place!

Yelp
Great chips, fajitas, Elvis platter, nice decorations. Staff was friendly and helpful, food made fresh (a little slow but that happens).

Yelp
There is almost nothing better than TexMex food especially when it is done well. We really enjoyed our visit and the food was delicious. The salsa was a bit more spicy than we normally like however the chips and salsa was fantastic. I had the combo Fajita dinner and both the beef and chicken were very well cooked. Would love a shrimp fajita option from them but I was very happy with my choice. I didn't get his name but our waiter was great and kept our chips topped off and was back to check on us every few minutes. We sat outside on the patio and even though it is right next to a very busy Pines Blvd it was enjoyable and the sun was low enough to be a bit cool. All in all it was a fantastic night and we will be sure to come back soon.

Yelp
My husband and I have been waiting for this bad boy to open. We finally got to visit and man oh man was it incredible. When you first sit down you get chips with salsa and a creamy jalapeño sauce - it kind of resembles ranch with jalapeño mixed in. For dinner we got the combo fajita for 2 and added shrimp. They give you a lot of meat, 6 homemade tortillas (which are incredibly fresh and soft- seriously I rubbed it more than I should of lol) rice, refried beans, onions and peppers, guac, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo & lettuce. We ate and still had a lot of leftovers. Our waiter was Isaiah- he was super sweet and attentive to us the whole time. Would highly recommend this place!

Yelp
This is my second time at Chuy's I went to the Orlando location before. What a great experience! Great environment, delicious food, and excellent service. A 5 star experience. A family restaurant for sure.

Yelp
Looking for a spot just to chill, then Chuy's is your place in Pembroke Pines. If you going with a large group or even your family, then I totally recommend Chuy's.

Yelp
I wasn't sure what to expect from Chuy's. The exterior looks like a really nice building, and the sign touts "fine Mexican food." Once inside, it is a very casual, bright, and colorful Tex Mex restaurant. I really liked the feel and welcoming ambiance of the restaurant and service staff. I think they are understaffed right now, but everyone was working really hard to give quick and attentive service. As soon as you sit down, they bring you very fresh, crisp chips, salsa, and jalapeño ranch for dipping. These were quickly scarfed down while waiting on the rest of the food. Everything on the menu ranged from $10 - $16 so very affordable. On this trip, tried the steak Panchos, which were basically supersized nachos delivered on in house fried flour tortilla strips. These were good, and a huge portion. Also had the chimichanga. The chicken inside was moist and flavorful, but kind of plain otherwise. Lots of other choices, looking forward to coming back to try the flautas and the fajitas. They have specialty house sauces and they were generous with including those without charges. They had some intriguing specialty drink options but we didn't try any on this trip. Maybe next time. I would recommend for some quick and tasty Tex Mex when in the area.

Yelp
In the mood for Tex mex, this is the place to try! The margaritas were really good, had 4 different flavors of frozen options. The burrito and enchiladas were flavorful. The best part though was the tres leches, one of the best I have tried. The prices were reasonable and food came out steaming hot. The menu was on the smaller side, but there were good options, although I wish there had been some seafood options. The decor is interesting, we sat in the bar area since there was no wait. It was decorated with pictures of dogs. Apparently, if you bring a framed picture of your dog you get a free appetizer. Definitely check this spot out if you're in the Pembroke Pines area.

Yelp
loved visiting this location- everything was delicious and service was so fast around 6:30pm! the fajita tacos are a great choice if you aren't as hungry for an entire fajita plate!

Yelp
Have eaten at Chuys several times and love the food. We regularly go to the one in Lutz Florida which is in Tampa when we are up there. Took family and friends to the Pembroke Pines local. There were 10 of us. Overall the food was good, but not nearly what the food tastes and looks like in Tampa. 4 people had fajitas. Unfortunately the onions and peppers on everybody's dish were very mushy. Not fresh and crispy like we got used to. The plates were not even sizzling when they brought them out. My steak fajita burrito was good, but the Tex-Mex sauce that was on top you was dried out and hard and you could tell it sat under a heat lamp for an extended period of time. The ends of the burrito were dried out and a little hard which is a result of the heat lamp as well. The server was trying to do his best. We could see that they were limited on staff and he was serving tables in all areas of the restaurant. Nevertheless as a customer you shouldn't have to get up to ask for drink refills and plates so people can eat their fajitas. After we were done eating we waited 15 to 20 minutes before I finally had to get up again and find the server so we can get to go boxes and our check. Not running back to this location
