"This Austin Tex-Mex favorite landed in D.C. about four years ago, and it still seems diners can’t get enough of the restaurant’s signature dishes, like stacked enchiladas, fajitas, chicken flautas, and “chuychangas.”" - Tim Ebner

We had the combo fajitas which comes in a sizzling skillet and a chicken salad bowl. The food taste great and you get to enjoy nachos on the house Follow rita.worldwide on instagram for more😋

This food was horrible! I ordered the burrito combo and a cheese enchilada. There was no refried beans, the rice was tasteless and cold (as if it was from previous day). The enchilada was thrown together and the sauce was burnt. If I can say one good word about this meal is that it is gone. I shall not purchase again. I should have gone to Anita's.

Came here with my girlfriend on a Monday and had a pleasant time here at Chuy's. Food came out hot and fast. Servers and staff were friendly and nice. Smiles all around at this establishment! I ordered the fajita burrito and I can't wait to come back and order it again! Thank you Chuy's.

Having moved to the East Coast from Texas, I was THRILLED to find a Chuy's nearby(ish). It's become one of our favorite spots for margaritas & Tex-mex . Honorable mention: the jalepeno ranch is to drool for. 🤤 Pictured: Fried chicken/cheese avocado; spicy Texas Martini

I love going to Chuy's. It's a great chain. And they have several locations. Their salsa is very spicy but you can order the ranch salsa which is a little more tame. I wish they had a third variety that was mild. Service is always great and the manager always makes a point to come say hi.

Google
Food was decent. I had to send my son's grilled chicken back it was cold. My daughter did not care for or eat the burrito on the kids meal. The manager was very nice and switched out her meal for a cheeseburger. I can go back again not sure if the kids will.

Stopped by for dinner for the first time in a while, and we really enjoyed it! The service was quick, and the food was delicious. We also had an egg allergy in our party, and our waiter was very attentive to our needs. We will definitely be back.

I tried Chuy's at Springfield Mall for the fist time tonight and it definitely won't be my last time. They do service quite differently here, in a unique way. Service: Our hostess was very friendly, spoke Spanish and English fluently. She served us our drinks and food. Food: The tortilla chips are way different compared to other Tex-Mex and Mexican restaurants I've tried in the past. They were served to us warm and it had immense flavouring. The salsa/pico de Gallo with the white sauce (dip) was something unfamiliar before, but it was absolutely stunning! The Fajitas Combo with Shrimp for 2 was an entire show for me. Chuy's serve the food where the two guest can add how much rice, beans, salad and proteins into each individual plate. I found that very interesting as that's never occurred to me before. The hand-made tortillas were soft, warm and totally what I expected from the rest of the reviews. Place: Whoever designs their restaurants, let me tell you: they are passionate. You get so many good vibes from this place and always wanting to explore more. Nice indoor, bar, and outdoor dining places available.

Yelp
My mainstay Tex-Mex restaurant, which I wish was closer to my home. It's kind of a guilty pleasure, as I usually skip chain restaurants for mom n' pops, but I just love Chuy's. The chips come with salsa and some addictive, crack-like ranch dip. It's ridiculously good. My friend and I ordered grande swirl margaritas and damn are they good - a mix of frozen lime and strawberry margarita. Those suckers are so easy to drink. So easy! I got the steak burrito with the hatch chile sauce, which was massive! It comes with Mexican rice and refried beans, which I totally dig. Honestly, I've never had anything bad in the many times I've gone. I could do nothing but eat chips and drink margaritas and be very very happy, but then I'd miss out on all their sauces. ;)

Yelp
Came here for a family dinner before heading over to D&B. Perhaps it was because we came at night time but the place was looking a little rough. The hostesses were great, super sweet and sat us right away. However when going to the bathroom to freshen up, the bathrooms were gross. No toilet paper in one of the stalls, dirty toilet bowls and paper everywhere.... Our waiter was very sweet and took our drink orders right away. Although he got our drinks mixed up he corrected it after we made him aware. Our food came fairly fast and I always appreciate when they bring out the kids food first. I will say the kids quesadillas were not the best and poorly made, there has been other times that I have dinned here and they tasted better. The steak nachos and the lemonade were pretty good. Overall it was nice because it was a family dinner but we were not too satisfied with our food and the ambiance.

Yelp
Part of Texas based chain. Nicely appointed and on outside of Mall so lots of easy parking. Food not so good on my visit. Beef burrito very tough and chicken caseadia also tough. Service ok but we had to get our own high chairs. They did give crayons and a puzzle and the chips were ok. Children's cheese casadias ok but string frozen fries arrived cold. Based on this experience would not go again even though choices pretty slim in the Mall. They also charge 4% food tax. ?

Yelp
My family used to love the Chuy's in Rockville. However, after they closed down a few years ago, we haven't gone as frequently. While visiting my cousin who works in the mall, I decided it was the perfect time to get my fix of the creamy jalapeno sauce and fresh chips. After years of not having Chuy's, it was just as amazing as I remember. I got the flautas (which taste fantastic dipped in the creamy jalapeno sauce), my father got the Elvis special, and we took a container of sauce to go. Our server was super friendly and the food was out within 15 minutes.

Elizabeth O.

Yelp
Been coming to this location for a while and have always thankfully had a very good server! i've also always been seated quickly and i usually get the burrito which is very good but sometimes the meat is a little too well done for my preference. My favorite thing is definitely the chips with the ranch-like dip! The drinks are good and the price is cheaper than going to other mexican food, probably because it's not as authentic ! overall, nice if you are looking for a quick and fair priced mexican chain restaurant!

Khamil T.

Yelp
Great Service. Good environment. NASTY food. Took 3 minutes to bring the order. That tells a lot. Everything was previously cooked. Nasty rice and beens. Walmart lemonade and walmart cheese. The burrito and tacos were acceptable but would not come again.

Ta-Sha W.

Yelp
Chuy's is my favorite. It's my go-to when I want Mexican food...which is pretty often I have not had a bad meal here. Nor have I ever had bad service. I've even ordered my birthday cake from here the past two years. My favorite is their enchiladas! It always comes out piping hot and the taste is consistent. Their frozen margaritas are also amazing. I recommend the swirl. And if you ask, they'll send you home with a bag of those amazingly fresh tortilla chips and their salsas. Writing this review is making me hungry for some Chuy's!! Might go there later today now

Kevin H.

Yelp
The chips, salsa and cheese sauce were on point. Quite busy, but not crowded. Requested a texanas type burrito (not on the menu), our waitress Rachel understood the assignment, she hit it outta the park! All of our food was delicious. Just enough heat to make you want another bite. Will come again!

Maria M.

Yelp
On April 111, 2024, I dined with my friends at Chuy's, Springfield Mall, Springfield, VA. BEST TACOS ever!!! I ordered the crispy taco plate with ground beef. Oh man, you talk about deliciousness! My tacos were hot, and FULL of flavor. I compared them to the taco I ordered from Chipotle's today. Chipotle's Do Not hold a candle to the ones I had at Chuy's. If you crave tacos, find your way to Chuy's or simply make them yourself--at home.

Chv T.

Yelp
they would not take my ID, even though it is a real ID. The customer service was terrible and they were not allow us to get a refund or get entry even when our date IDs were real.

Amanda T.

Yelp
Typical mall mexican food. Good but not great. Our server was really friendly though and took great care of us. Food = 3 stars; Service = 5 stars. Thanks!

Jay P.

Yelp
Good food and great environment. Wish their menu was bigger and had more variety. The queso with beef and the salsa are killer!!!

Gail B.

Yelp
We discovered this small chain at another location, which is now closed. The fun decor, the yummy food and salsas (and sauces) are worth the visit. The white salsa is especially wonderful (Cilantro makes the dish). This restaurant is inside the mall. Our server was upbeat and absent much of our visit. He took a break without telling us. I was given a sauce with meat, even though I said I didn't want meat. There are several sauces that don't have meat. They are amazing. The "in your face" burrito is giant. Hubby enjoyed the Elvis dish. The chips are made on site and delicious. Two salsas are served with the basket of chips. The servers gladly give refills. It is easier to get refills if your server isn't on a break. Coworkers filled in, when asked. The manager brought extra salsa and made things right.

Sherry G.

Yelp
Why does anyone like this place when there are excellent choices for tacos and other Tex mex all over the plarea? We happened to be at the mall and were hungry and when faced with the four restaurants that are on the outside of the mall, we were more in the mood for Mexican, so we gave it a try. The one star is because our waitress was good and we were served quickly. The lack of others stars is because the food was truly awful. I had shrimp tacos and the soft flour tortillas were too hard to eat and the grilled shrimp had zero flavor. Every dish came with Spanish rice and refried beans. The beans were okay. The guac came in a bowl that was 1/4 filled with lettuce at the bottom. You do get free chips and salsa at the table, and the salsa is supposed to be the medium heat variety. No, it was super firey spicy, to the point we couldn't eat it. The prices were not cheap either. Definitely won't try this place again. Very disappointing.

Rachel V.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on Friday with my 1year old and my friend. We were surprised there was a 15-30 min wait but it went by quickly enough. We were seated in a sizable table with ample room for us and the baby. The server was kind and attentive and refilled our sodas without asking. He was friendly to my son too- bonus points! The food was pretty good for Tex mex. I did like the chips and salsa with the ranch jalepeno dip (complimentary). All in all a pleasant experience and look forward to going back!

Johnnyboy D.

Yelp
I went to the spot on a Saturday afternoon for drinks with a friend. It was cool crowded met some nice people the ambience was cool.

Milagros R.

Yelp
We use to like to go to this restaurant but the last few times we have been there our experience has not been like it used to be. Last time was the worst as it didn't look clean and we also encountered a roach. Will not be going there ever again!

david l.

Yelp
Whenever I find a Chuy's I always have to stop in. You can't beat reasonably priced American Tex Mex that is served decent portion and always hits the spot. This location was no different. The food was great as well as the service.

Sara T.

Yelp
We always get the fajita family kit for pickup and it's such a great way to feed the fam and guests! Chuys does such a great job of packaging up the beans, rice, chicken and all the toppings!!

Claudia Virginia A.

Yelp
Good News: Everything on the menu is full of different flavors and textures! The servers are full of energy and positive vibes! Sometimes the music level is a bit loud. Bad news: look at the attached photos. Photo 1: Found Blond/White Hair Photo 2: No Green Chilis Photo 3: Burnt Sauce Photo 4: Burnt Rice Photo 5: Nothing Wrong Photo 6: No Guacamole Photo 7: Over Cooked Chicken Tenders

Elyse E.

Yelp
I called asking about allergens before coming to the restaurant and never received any useful information. The first time I called, I was placed on hold and no one came to the phone. The second time I called, I was told that since I am the person with the allergy, I should "know what I can and can't have." I do, but I'm not a chef at this restaurant and do not know what marinades/spices/cooking styles they use. Gluten is often hidden in foods you would not expect. Sometimes restaurants marinade their meats in beer. It is not safe for me to assume that food served in a corn tortilla is safe. They lost my business before I even went there. To be treated so rudely for having an allergy and have staff be dismissive? I'll take my business elsewhere. If you have any type of food allergy, go to another restaurant. Those of us with allergies are clearly an inconvenience to the staff here.

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Pretty empty on a Monday afternoon. Server brought out chips and salsa with their new jalapeño dip, which was pretty good. Ordered the shrimp quesadilla- came out like 4-5 mini tacos but were quite empty on the inside, the tortilla was very thick. The house margarita wasn't anything to rave about, very sweet.

Nichole A.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and wonderful location to sit outside for people watching. My taco salad was missing a bit of luster but for $12 I don't know what else they could have added. Chips and salsa at the table and the boom boom sauce that my daughter got on her burrito was amazing.

Ellie D.

Yelp
Chicken fajita burrito - 3* while I enjoyed the burrito, I definitely like the fajita chicken better in it's original dish and would order the regular chicken next time for the burrito.

S M.

Yelp
Good food, good service, good atmosphere, good prices. Consistent. Ranch sauce ftw. Never lets me down.

Troy AndTammy D.

Yelp
We order routinely delivery from the location in Springfield and routinely have things missing. Literally occurred three times in a row. Would not order for delivery as there is always something missing and the quality control it's declined steadily since COVID ended.

The Fem N.

Yelp
The chips and salsa got the stars. The food other food was so terrible! I ordered a combo platter (I can't remember the name) the enchilada arrived with solid unmelted cheese in the middle . Our server was nice but basically ignored us. I ate the beans and left the rest... didn't even take my leftovers. The server saw how much food was left and didn't even ask if we enjoyed our meal and certainly didn't attempt to remedy the situation. If you are looking for a meal I'd pass on this one. Plenty of other options in the area. I certainly won't be returning.

Klara C.

Yelp
This was my first time here and it will likely be my last. We did get sat pretty quickly and the outside area is dog friendly so those are some benefits. I'm not sure if the service indoors is better but ours was slow and lacking. There is parking since it's on the outside of the Springfield mall. It took probably 10 minutes before we got any water and took probably 15 minutes for him to come back and take any drink orders. We ordered nachos as an appetizer. There were no app plates and no silverware and we couldn't get any until the individual who bright out our food realized we didn't have any. Our server came to finally check up on us and I asked for more water, and the cilantro that I ordered. My friend also asked for another drink. It took 10 minutes for him to bring that out and we had to re ask for the water and the drink. The water was bright out but the drink never was. We didn't see our server after that. I had to go inside around a half hour later to get our check. I found a stack of to go boxes outside to pack up any of our leftovers. We ordered ground beef Tacos and the fajita steak burrito. Some of the steak was pretty burnt as well. I definitely don't recommend coming here unless going to the bar. The drinks are decent but don't suggest coming here otherwise!

Keila S.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to come here for a date night. We arrived Saturday night, a little before 9pm. We were able to be quickly seated and the waiter immediately greeted us and took our drink options. We received complimentary chips and salsa which also came with a ranch dipping sauce. I ordered the veggie enchiladas. I wish there were more veggie options on the menu. Speaking of the menu, it was so old and worn that it was hard to read certain words. Even our waiter couldn't make out what some things were. As for the food, the enchiladas were extremely underwhelming. It did not tasted seasoned at all. It was very bland the veggies textured did not seam at all sautéed or grilled. It was like it all was just tossed together, wrapped in a tortilla, and covered in a flavorless sauce. On the plus side, the rice and refried beans were good. I also ordered a piña colada, which was just not good. I give this place 2 stars. 1 for the friendly and helpful staff, and 1 for the speediness of our food. I'm in no rush to return.

Gayle M.

Yelp
Sindy is a wonderful Server!! She is friendly, professional and a fantastic representative of Chuy's. Keep her and make her a trainer of Servers. The food is great. We are from So California and have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant. We have found it. Thanks for being here for us relocated SoCalees.

Imran S.

Yelp
i had been to chuys in houston but was trying the springfield location. due to demand the only available space was on the bar area. the service was really good and quick -- we started with free chips and salsa and ordered the guacamole and the veggies enchilada with green chile and red salsa the chips were fresh but the taste and quality of the chips and guacamole wasn't great. same for the enchiladas - the portion was good but the flavor wasn't great overall - nice service but average quality of food

James N.

Yelp
Great chips and dip. Make sure to order the queso with beef during Happy Hour. Good deals on Happy Hour drinks but not many specials. Definitely get the fajitas - steak and chicken combination.

K R M.

Yelp
Table was filthy. When I asked for it to be cleaned, it was like I offended the waiter. Horrible customer service. Went for happy hour. Male waiter was rude and very abrupt. Rushing me for my order. I remember why I stopped coming to this Springfield location. Will not be back. My Texas tini tasted like rotten lime juice. As it was being poured, some of it spilled on the table. Waiter literally threw napkins at me. Said floating black object in my drink was the seed of a lime, instead of trying to investigate or offer a new drink. Reported his behavior to the manager . He hovered around very aggressive like. So disappointed. Only saving grace was manager was very pleasant.

Aleshia A.

Yelp
Went here during the holiday rush and we were still seated rather quickly. Even better we got our food in about 20 minutes. The food was actually really good. Nothing to necessarily write home about, but still a solid choice if you're looking for good Mexican food with nice portion sizes at a reasonable price. You should definitely get a drink (soft drink, tea whatever) because the water tastes they just scooped it up out of the Potomac.

Matt Y.

Yelp
This is a fairly lackluster Tex-Mex joint. The meal began (as most Tex-Mex meals do) with chips and salsa. The chips were thin, fresh, and tasty enough, and the salsa had some heat to it, which I appreciated. The chips also came with a ranch dressing dip with the chips, which I thought was odd. We ordered queso dip for the table as well, which resembled its counterpart at Chili's. For the entrée, I ordered roasted chicken enchiladas with hatch chile sauce. They were fine, aesthetically pleasing but somewhat bland aside from the heat of the hatch and clearly assembled en masse rather than crafted individually. Service was okay, quick at the beginning of the meal but a little less attentive at the end (so we got our check some time later than when we might have preferred). The waiter also seemed to abide by pandemic guidelines about wearing his mask, but I would not say the same for my fellow customers, who were not especially careful. More generally (and this is not the fault of Chuy's by any means), the area around the restaurant was filled with people who did not adhere to covid safety norms (e.g., virtually every group of people who walked by had at least one person not wearing a mask).

Matt F.

Yelp
Came for lunch, plenty of seating. Our service was great by Christian. Food was just okay. Their complimentary salsa, chips, and ranch dressing are good. We got the beef tacos and enchiladas, and both were okay. Might try something else next time.

Shameeka B.

Yelp
Been here a few times, it's always a great experience whether it be dine in or take out. Restaurant staff are always friendly and nice, never had an issue with this establishment. They have outdoor seating as well, which is covered if you want to sit outside. Complimentary chips and salsa given with your entree. The white sauce is the best, unsure what it is exactly but it's good. I always get the Chuychnaga, their version of the chimichanga.

Nicholas B.

Yelp
Chuy's is good for kids. Todays disaster I ordered online and asked for curd side pick up. I got a text saying g park in a reserved spot and tell us what number you are and and we will be right out. I did as prompted then sat for 20 minutes. No one came and as I became frustrated waiting I went in. There was absolutely no effort from anyone to come out I did get a meaningless and emotionless sorry. I can see why people don't tip for take out. I may change my tip strategy to cash because of this.

Monica S.

Yelp
Decent but not impressed. So, they don't take reservation which is fine. I called ahead and they said it would be about a 15-20 minute wait and said it was a full house tonight. We got there and they said it's still a 15-20 minute wait. We ended up sitting at the bar area, which was nice. However, when making my way to the restroom...there were SO MANY available tables. Like 1/3 of the place was empty. Anyways, it took a while for our server to come to us initially. We ordered fajita and taco salad. The fajitas were good--but they only give you 3 tortillas and that is not enough (for people who are gluten sensitive, they offer corn tortillas). The taco salad was VERY disappointing. It had no flavor, not much toppings, and did not leave us satisfied. We asked for sour cream because it was supposed to come with the fajitas but we didn't get any...and we were charged $1.50. We paid, but was kinda put off by it. We found out about it by seeing other diners have some. Our waitress was kind but did not stop by often, so when we needed something we had to wait quite a while. Chips were good! Our waitress brought us chips and salsa...but you call also ask for the jalepeno sauce...it's amazing.

Weldon H.

Yelp
Quick service and closest thing to authentic tex mex in DMV Service was friendly and the food arrived promptly.

Diana K.

Yelp
Chuy's is my new guilty pleasure on the weekends. Have been there the last two Saturday's and have fallen in LOVE with the pork boom boom enchiladas. If you are familiar with the chick a boom boom enchiladas, these are similar but just with the most amazing pork ever! If you want the pork version you have to go on the weekends. The process to prepare the pork only allows for them to serve on weekends. For those who have never had boom boom sauce please do me a favor and try it. You will not be disappointed. It's spicy, creamy, and cheesy. It's so good that I ask for a side of it cause I don't feel like the enchiladas come with enough. Back to the pork...our bartender mentioned that sometimes it may appear on a Monday in the nacho bar. If only one would be that lucky. Haha. We've had the same bartender each time, super cool guy! Takes good care of us, and makes sure our margaritas never run low. I go for the martini margarita. Comes in a shaker with a cute martini glass. A cool part of this place are the fun cool t-shirts!! I was never one to get sucked into buying t-shirts from restaurants, but they got me. They have fun catchy taco/burrito references. They are comfy and wash well.

Michael C.

Yelp
One of the best values in Springfield Town Center if you like Mexican food. They give you lots of food even though pretty much none of it is healthy lol! I've been here several times and they are usually busy so prepare to wait. Also because of its location, prepare to o either spend a lot of time finding a parking spot or park far away and be ready to walk. Essentially the food here is like any Tex-Amex restaurant. In the area, it's most comparable to an El Paso Restaurant on steroids. On this recent visit, I had an Elvis Presley platter of food. It was a lot and it was definitely tasty. If you are in a diet, don't come here. For everyone else, eat all you see. My meal was listed as over 1200+ calories. That's what I'm talking about!

Lauren E.

Yelp
I have come here many times since it opened and I have always received friendly service and great food. You have to get the creamy jalapeño dip for the chips, its complimentary and way better than the salsa! If it is your first time at the restaurant, they will bring you a plate of all their different sauces for you to try. For entrees, I haven't ever had a bad thing on the menu. I normally order enchiladas or fajitas, but this time I got a chicken combo since I wasn't very hungry. It was delicious and perfectly portioned for a light meal. I love that guacamole comes with so many of their dishes, and it is not overly flavored with garlic or salt like some other places. I can't wait to come back here!

Kati B.

Yelp
The food is always consistent-but the service at the door makes me want to return! Gabby welcomed us and everyone when you'd walk in, with such a warm and authentic smile, and truly made you feel appreciated when you walked in the door. They had such a kindness to them!!! Congratulations to Chuys for finding such a gem to welcome guests as they arrive and provide that same kindness when you leave.

Chris B.

Yelp
This place was so disappointing. I've only eaten out twice in 2020, and only to this restaurant. 2nd time, I wish I hadn't. Nov 30, 2020 I traveled about 12 hours from Tulsa OK. I should haven landed at 5 p.m. at DCA, but was delayed by the airline for 3 hours in Chicago. Thus landed at 8 p.m. I've had a gift card from my birthday in Jan 2020 from Chuy's that I had been waiting to use the entire year. I had thought this would be the perfect time. Arrived at the restaurant at 8:52 p.m. and they closed at 9. As soon as we walk in, the hostess says the kitchen closes in 7 minutes. I said ok, but we can still order right? She said yes, if you hurry. Sit at the table, and try the menu ap on the table twice. Didn't work on Iphone or Samsung. Waitress comes to the table and says, the kitchen closes in 5 minutes, what do you want to order. I said it would go a lot quicker if you had a menu we could actually look at. She said to use the phone ap. I said we did, twice, and showed her on my phone that it didn't work. She looked for a menu, but couldn't find one. They had no alternative. And it's not my fault their menu ap thing didn't work. I am not their IT person. I said ok, I'll have the Chili relleno. I've had that before. She said we took that off the menu in March. :-O Wow!!! The one thing I was going to order. So said, how about a Chimichanga. She said ok. The person I was with got a quesadilla. However, ordered the wrong meat because the waitress was rushing us. The chimi was good. My dinner partner didn't like the quesadilla and said they put the wrong meat. I called the waitress over and said they put the wrong meat. She said you ordered X. The waitress then explained the specificity of the meat. And in fact, my friend ordered the wrong one because we were rushed and the waitress hadn't taken the time to explain the first time. The waitress did nothing to try to fix the situation or replace the meal. The next day, I was eating the left over at home and discovered a large bone in the Chimi. I could have choked to death. I feel they put it there on purpose because we had come in late. Personally, I think this restaurant should just shut down. It's obvious the staff would rather not be working. What an awful experience to be made to feel you didn't want our business. Rushing us. Saying multiple times you close in 5 minutes, the kitchen is going to close in 5-7 minutes. If you want to close at 8:30, close at 8:30. But if you are open until 9, serve a customer who comes in before 9 as any other time of day. Especially after traveling 12 hours and using a birthday gift card they had been waiting a year to use. In VA Beach, I had walked into UNOs 2 minutes before they closed. The manager at the front desk looked at his watch, and then said come on in with a smile and was going to seat us. We had actually just wanted carry out, but they were willing to seat us and treated us as a valued customer. Chuy's certainly did not. It was obvious they would rather not be there, close, than to have our business. I found it odd, especially in these Covid times, and having been only the 2nd time I had eaten out in a years time. Wish I hadn't chosen this place. Ugh!!!

Yelp
My daughter, her friends and I decided to come grab some tacos. The girls had a lot of fun just eating, and talking. They had the soft tacos and i had the hard tacos. They were very tasty. We ate outside and the setting was great with everyone out and about.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch and since it was a nice day, I opted for patio seating. The server was nice but it took a long time for a drink, food and bill. I had to wait some time to get a napkin well after my shrimp tacos were delivered. I chose 1 grilled and 1 fried shrimp taco that comes with refried beans and rice. The rice was pretty good, the beans were cold and the tacos were meh.

Yelp
Umm this place was sub par. The menu was very minimal. I've been to other Tex mex restaurants where the menu had much better options. Food wasn't great. The white sauce that came with the chips was the best thing. I ended up getting tacos which were basic, kind of reminded me of Taco Bell. My son got a burrito that was the flattest thing I ever seen, not even sure why it's called a burrito.

Yelp
1-the atmosphere was outdated and gross. 2-the food was.....not good. We ordered the chuychanga and it couldn't have been a flour tortilla, it was a pie crust. Not good at all. 3-our server was just okay. Not to mention. The menu was so old and used that we could barely read it. I had high hopes, but left very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Yelp
Bar service was great while I enjoyed dinner after a little shopping. Had quite a few margarita mini's which was so great. I love olives and I also love jalapeños but I never had them at the same time until I stop to have the Texas mini. Olives stuff with jalapeños was a good fantasy come true. Bartender was killing it on a busy Friday night but he didn't forget about check in to see if I needed anything.
