Ciani Lugano

Perfection. We had a business large party lunch and had the most perfect experience. Vincenzo looked after us marvellously and the food was top notch. The pavlova was excellent, pasta was something out of a Michelin star restaurant and everything else was spotless. While it is very hard accommodating a large party with lots of requests and extras, they've managed to exceed expectations. THANK YOU!!!

Perfect food, perfect staff. Food was delicious, enormous amount of choice in different wines, bottles from 50 franc to a couple of thousand francs. We chose a 12 year old Sicilian wine for +/- 65€ Euro (retail 22 €), it was delicious. Portions are large. Staff extremely professional and friendly. Good atmosphere.

Have dinner with my lover one evening to celebrate my birthday. We had a really good time, great foods and all the staffs was so gentle . Well done everyone and the service man were all very kind to me . Thanks again for great experience ❤️

Very beautiful restaurant with excellent cuisine. My compliment to the chef! So far, it was the best black angus steak in my life, so juicy and perfectly salted. The waiters didn't speak much English or German, but they were friendly and attentive to us. The atmosphere is cosy, relaxing and quiet, not overcrowded, a lot of space between the tables and it is easy to keep your intimacy. The service was quite fast though there were many other guests. The quality trully matches the price. Definitely worth visiting.

Food was quite nice. Service was strange. There was a weird dynamic between the staff which was very noticeable and gave a rather uncomfortable feeling. I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

Says they are open at 17.30 on Google and on the door of restaurant. But arrived at 6 and very abrasive member of staff said no food until 7. Rude.

Ciani Lugano is an outstanding restaurant! Here the detail matters - not only about food quality but presentation as well! Location is great - absolute Lugano downtown, almost at the lake in Parco Ciani! Staff is very professional and friendly! Food is extremely delicious! While some might argue on the very high prices, it is definitely worth the experience.

Strolling through this park to enjoy the views and landscaping was one of the highlights of our visit to Lugano. What will you find at this waterfront park? Swans rolling in the waves, large magnolia trees, stunning flower installations, plenty of activities for kids, a rocky beach-like area and an abundance of shade and public art. It truly is a Lugano gem with the mix of mountain backdrop, palm trees and lush Mediterranean vibes. There are also a few stops throughout the park to grab gelato or a drink to soak in the views. Entrance to the park is free and you can reach it within a ten minute walk along the lake from the core of downtown Lugano. This would make for a great spot to pack a picnic and enjoy the lake breeze on a hot summer day.

I came here while strolling through Lugano. The park is very green, has a gate for photo ops, some swans, and a playground with a beautiful view of Switzerland.

Whenever I'm in town I always come here for a nice picnic Pros: - Beautiful garden within the park - Well kept - the grass is mowed and super clean - Clean bathrooms (they're a fancier version of a porta potty); there's also a nice fountain right outside the bathrooms to clean your face - 20 minutes from the train station; 5 minutes away from a boat rental place - View of the lake is amazing! Cons: - None!

Beautiful park that's a 10-15 minute walk away from the train station. Once you get off the train, just continue to walk down through the town until you get to the lake. Follow the path lined with trees and you'll arrive at the park. Very serene. If you go earlier in the morning you'll have more of the park to yourself - it can get busier during lunch time. A must-see.

The trip to this park is incomplete without a picture at the romantic gates. Walk through the whole park. The parking is available underground to the side of the park.
