Google
Came here with a friend for dinner for pizza and Italian food. They have a huge assortment of pizza options. I tried the regular pepperoni and the Diavola pizza. Both were really good. The crust is made just right, not dough and not crispy. The ingredients definitely shined through. The spaghetti and meatballs were great. Plenty of spaghetti and the meatballs were just the right amount and tasted great. Definitely would like to come back to try more pizza options

Google
Amazing food some of the best pizza in town. All the workers are super nice and helpful and food comes out quick. I also love how they use it Italian imported ingredients. Love this place!

Jess K.

Google
Great spot for a quick bite! Loved the laid-back feel. Clean restaurant and really delicious pizza. Service was excellent -- the young lady who took our order was very helpful with their extensive menu. We split a BBQ pizza and the gorgonzola was a nice twist on the dish! Beer and wine options as well as sparkling water. Thank you for a great experience!

Google
Nice place with plenty of seating. Menu can be overwhelming, best to explore the menu before visiting. We had the Margherita and the Toto. Sauce was great, toppings were fresh, crust was not as crispy as hoped. Will order well done crust next time. Prices are reasonable. Drinks are fountain served, wish they had bottles. We also split a cannoli. Filling was quite sweet and the shell was very hard...may not have been the freshest. Overall a good lunch and we will go back to try other pizza choices.

John K.

Google
Real wood fired pizza from an imported oven. All the pizzas are the same size but the variations are considerable. Semi table service, order in a line then it gets delivered. Self serve drinks. I selected the 4 meat pizza and was pleasantly surprised. Thin flakey crust that’s not too crispy. Enjoy.

Google
From the amazing Italian (Italian dough and oven) pizza to the awesome playlists they have playing it makes for one great experience. The cherry on top is the super cool New Yorker owner. His personality and accent make it feel even more authentic. When you come get the mozzarella patties. We have had almost every pizza on the menu and they have all been amazing. Pistachio pesto is my favorite. ALSO, my family is gluten free and their dough does not mess with us.

Brian S.

Google
GREAT PIZZA! Grabbed dinner here last week with a friend and it was very good. I’m always a little leary of pizza joints, but this was impressive. I had the barbecue pizza which came with grilled chicken and a bbq sauce drizzle. It was cooked well and had a great flavor. I also had a spinach salad with bacon and ginger dressing and it was good also.

Google
The pizza was not good. It tasted as if it had being warmed up and on every slice when picked up off the pan the toppings slid off. The kids and myself did not enjoy it at all.

Taylor H.

Yelp
I brought my friends here for lunch to try it out! It was their first time so the owner gave us a free pizza, La Stella, on the house for them to try! He was such a nice guy and we had a great time chatting with him and trying new foods! The pizza is so authentic and their ingredients are shipped over from Italy. This is my favorite spot for pizza. We also got some delicious cannolis. We will definitely be coming back soon to try some of their seasonal pizzas!

Nicoll R.

Yelp
I had such a great experience at Ciao Baby! The food was really good, and I got to try cannolis for the first time. they were amazing! The owner was so kind and even gave us a complimentary pizza to try, which was delicious. Great food and even better hospitality. Definitely recommend!

Taylor N.

Yelp
Amazing first visit! The handmade cannoli's are perfection! The owner is a sweet heart and the atmosphere is so nice! I will be back!

Gil S.

Yelp
Food was very authentic. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Closest thing to NYC for pizza and sandwiches. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu.

Yelp
I absolutely love the pizza here. Every ingredient is made in house and fresh. I can never decide if i want red sauce or white sauce pizza. They are both amazing. At times the crust can be a little soft in the center since it's authentic Neapolitan style. But this past time it's was PERFECT. The crust was still soft but not overly so. And the flavors of the pizza are unbeatable. I love coming here for casual atmosphere and best pizza around.

Yelp
Took a night off from cooking and my son wanted pasta. When I looked up pasta places the Alfredo looked exactly how he likes it so we came here for the first time. Luckily we came on a night where it was buy one pizza get a classic for free. So I ordered the Grandma and the Blanco for myself. I love a good cheese pizza and these were perfect. The dough was just right, not too thin not too thick. My son's Alfredo was perfect for him that he pretty much finished the whole thing. I did take the crust and scraped the bowl for the rest of the sauce. Lastly I had to order a cannoli. The shell had a great crunch to it and just enough filling. The staff there were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back to try the other pizzas and more pasta for my little one

Al R.

Yelp
My first time eating at this restaurant was last week after living in Collierville for over 20 years. Let me tell you that the 4-cheese ravioli with Alfredo Sauce and Italian Sausage was UNBELIEVABLE! All the ingredients are FRESH and the taste is so unique. If you want a treat... visit Ciao Baby in Collierville!
google avatar

Debb W.

Yelp
Excellent food, great service. They use the best mozzarella! All the ingredients tasted fresh. One pizza is the perfect size for two people. The calzones are huge! Again, one is enough for two people. And get something with the caramelized onions. They add a wonderful sweet touch.

Gary C.

Yelp
Ciao Baby is a regular family go to for us. The quality ingredients, and wood fired grill set this place apart. The owner Adrian is awesome. Today he wasn't there but today's staff was great!

Yelp
Stopped in on a Friday night as we were in the area. This place was hopping with people. It's a smaller restaurant and it was full to the brim. Love that you can see the fresh ingredients and the pizzas being made as you order. The food is always fresh and super tasty. The Alfredo and Philly are fan favorites in our house!

Julie M.

Yelp
Love this restaurant! We ordered over the phone this time but have dined in often. John, who took our order over the phone and brought our food when we came to pick up, was very kind and made sure that he understood our order so that it would be accurate. We had quite a large order and everything was exactly right so we're very impressed! Everything was delicious as always! We got wood fired pizzas (Bianca and pesto), pasta, garlic knots, and fried mozzarella this time! Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful! On other occasions, we have had the wings, the burrata, traditional caprese, house salad, wood fired chicken parm sandwiches, margarita pizza, calzones, and cannoli, all of which have been amazing! Their drink tower is Pepsi products and there's a cooler with bottled and canned drinks. The location is on the small side, partial booths and chairs. Big wooden tables. Outside they have a few metal patio tables which are nice to sit at on a cool evening. They also have a drive thru window/door to the right of the building for pick up orders.

Yelp
I returned upon visiting Memphis again and was gravely disappointed in the food, service & overall experience. I ordered the LaStella/same as last time and got a totally different product. The pizza was overloaded with coagulated cheese, oilier than it needed to be and hardly had any meat. I circled back around to the drive through to express my dissatisfaction in hopes for a proposed solution or any type of accountability yet the young lady had a rude attitude asserting the pizza looked the same as the one I showed her which I previously posted on Yelp. Just a slap in the face and waste of money. It's one thing to SKIMP on your toppings and produce a poor quality pizza, it's a total other thing to treat your customers badly. I won't ever be returning. Do better!

Greg T.

Yelp
Pizza is very good brick oven. Salads are good. Sodas are always fizzy. Fettuccini alfredo is also good. The best thing on the menu that I have tried is the pistachio cannoli. It is ridiculous. I doubt they make it from scratch, but it is probably the best cannoli I have ever had...and I make them from scratch at home...yes, even the shells. I have actually gotten myself so worked up over writing this review that I am thinking about making the long drive out there to have lunch right now.

Yelp
Another wonderful dinner at Ciao Baby! I was excited to see the restaurant super busy. The last few times we came, it was empty. No matter how many people were here, they were still bringing out food in a timely manner and keeping tables clean. This was our first time trying the Dough Bites, and they were amazing! My fiancé loves their pizza, so we visit frequently. There's no better casual Italian spot in the area than this one!
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
Ciao Baby has delicious Italian food. We tried their four cheese ravioli, wings and garlic knots, and prosciutto pizza. Also ordered a dinner salad which isn't on the menu. I'm picky when it comes to raviolis because my husband makes them from scratch. Ciao Baby's raviolis were delicious, cheesy pillows of goodness. Their sauce complimented the ravioli nicely. Garlic knots are served with fresh garlic and liberally drizzled with olive oil. They tasted great and were airy and crispy delights. Pizza was quickly devoured and delicious. Loved their mustard vinaigrette on the salad.

Yelp
This is by far our favorite pizza place in the Memphis area. They do authentic Neapolitan pizza better than anyone around here. Highly recommended!

Yelp
The best Marguerita pizza I've ever had! Have lived on it for 2 months:). Ingredients are fresh & the employees are always very kind! My favorite pizza in the Collierville (Memphis) area. Thank you, Caio baby!!!

Joy A.

Yelp
My favorite place to eat in the 'Ville!!! The best, most authentic pizza and pasta we have found. Everything on the menu is delicious and made to perfection. The salads and the desserts are a particular treat! The owner is so nice and funny and the staff is kind and efficient. Love, love, love Ciao Baby! P.s. my go to order is the Argula salad with the pistachio pesto pizza and the pistachio cannoli. Just writing that out made me so hungry for it! Ha!

Davis J.

Yelp
We ordered fried ravioli and spaghetti and meatballs. The ravioli was okay but the spaghetti and meatballs were not good. The noodles were too mushy and the meatballs were dry. What is going on here? And we didn't get a refill on drinks. Have you guys heard of customer services?

Sonya W.

Yelp
Wonderful food and service! Very nice patio. My family and I visit a lot and it never disappoints.

Yelp
If you love genuine Italian brick oven pizza, this is the place. 'Nuf said. Go and enjoy.

Yelp
Ciao Baby has many options for different pizzas and food items. With their large oven imported from Italy, it heats up too 900 F being able to cook a pizza in 90 seconds. The service was fast and friendly and which influenced a calm, fun environment. The dessert is also amazing, the cannoli tastes just as good as a Cannoli that you can get from a shop in Italy. In the end, Ciao Baby should be called," Wow, Pizza Baby!" Call

Yelp
My husband and I were visiting Collierville for the day and were excited to try Ciao Baby when we saw the extensive menu. We ordered several things to explore the menu. We got the wood-fired garlic knots, loco taco pizza, and prosciutto di Parma cold sandwich. As someone who has written about the restaurant industry since 2006, including over a decade at a pizza industry magazine, I've eaten more than a few garlic knots, pizzas, and slices of prosciutto--here and abroad. I prefer to address a problem with management before resorting to online reviews, so I went to the manager on duty when we were dissatisfied with our food. Unfortunately, she chose to brush off the situation. When I explained to her that we would not have ordered the garlic knots if we knew they were fried (since it states on the menu board that they are wood-fired), she stated that yes, they are fried and that's how they do it in Italy and New York, which is where the owner's family is from. I've never seen it. I told her they were more like zeppoles than garlic knots and suggested they might want to adjust the menu board to let customers know they are fried. I also kindly let her know that the prosciutto tasted "off" somehow. She said, "That's just the way that kind tastes." Whether it was the fried knots or odd-tasting prosciutto, which we ate very little of, we had a bellyache for the remainder of the day. We won't be back.

Yelp
Ciao Baby has been a staple in Collierville, TN for the last couple of years. The owner is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. Ciao Baby is one of best places to eat authentic Neapolitan pizza in the Mid-South! If you come here a little upset or sad, you'll leave here happy and full! I recommend this place to any and everyone!

Jennifer S.

Yelp
The food is really good, but the location is not what we expected at all. I'm not sure if it's a chain and that's part of the issue. Reading their website, we were expecting more of an actual restaurant and this is definitely not that. It's more of a fast food type setting, along the lines of MacAlisters or KFC - order at the counter and find a seat. The pizza was very good and good quality, and it was nice that we were able to order a beer. Staff was friendly too. It was good, but not what we'd thought it would be.

Yelp
Amazing dinner tonight at Ciao Baby... live it here.. great food great atmosphere great people

Jessica T.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I ordered our food Togo and was told it would be ready in 15-20 mins. We noticed people after we ordered started to get their food and realized that 35 mins had past and so we asked if our was ready, it wasn't and the employee wasn't sure when it would be ready. Our food took 45 minutes and my boyfriend's pizza was cold because it had been sitting out waiting for my pasta to be ready. This was our first and last time trying this place.

Hannah S.

Yelp
Everything we had was amazing! My husband had naked wing & buffalo and he said both were perfect, he's carnivore. I got a build my own pizza and with their amazing crust I don't think one of their pizzas could be bad! Cannoli was good too! We will be back!
google avatar

Alex A.

Yelp
What a neat pizza spot! Tidy, neat, and welcoming. They have a lot of wonderful pizza options, it's a delight. Another treat is that you can find bottled Peroni to pair with your pie! You can't go wrong with the Due Carni (two meat pizza) or their Pistachio Pesto pizzas. They also have desserts and calzones on the menu. I will need to return for some cannolis! Worth a visit.

Robert B.

Yelp
The pizza would had had great flavor if it wasn't raw in the middle. Great topping, looked great on top around the edges. But not enough sauce, not enough cheese, and not cooked at the right temperature.
google avatar

Kaliaya D.

Yelp
Came to grab takeout for superbowl Sunday . I ordered when I got there and my food came out within the 10 mins. Loved how helpful the lady who took my order was. The restaurant wasn't packed, had a lot of seating to eat inside, and TVs playing the game. The pizza was good, fresh ingredients, a bit burnt on the edges but didn't bother me. It gave it that wood brick oven taste. The wings did not have as much flavor as I wanted but still really good and cooked well.

Yelp
This places makes me like pizza again, what a relief from most pizza places. We never wait longer than 10 mins for our food. Staff super friendly.

Yelp
This is my second review of this place. Our first experience was great. This time around three pizzas were ordered. Two good and one not so good. Why? Burned around the edges. Don't know the reason. But, the girl who took orders and made the pizzas was on overload mode. I considered that and didn't want to complain so I ate it.minus the crust.

W N.

Yelp
This place has gone down in ways. They still use the same quality ingredients but they are skimpy with them. You hardly get any sauce on your pizza. I got a margarita pizza this week. Only half the pieces had any basil on them hardly any sauce or cheese. I felt like I just had a piece of bread. My friend got pasta and hardly got any sauce as well. We split a caprese salad and got a tiny drizzle of balsamic oil on it. Not enough to even get the taste on much of the salad. I guess you have to bring your own balsamic and own warmed up sauce to have a decent meal now here. Very chintzy. I was disappointed because this place could be great.

Franchesca R.

Yelp
Stopped by and met the owner who's family is Italian and he's from NY, not far from where I grew up! Lots of options to order. I wanted a Bianca pizza so went with spicy prosciutto, artichokes and fresh lemon. The dough and cheese are made in house- every day. Really good thin crust style from Naples, that's sturdy but still pliable with beautiful air bubbles in the dough. All cooked in a wood fire pizza oven at over 900 degrees, Bene! There's even a drive through window. Ty so much.

Anna K.

Yelp
Gosh the most incredible pizza I have ever tasted!!! I just love the salads too!!! And the lunch special rocks!!
google avatar

Andrew T.

Yelp
Excellent pizzas, great ambience, friendly staff, food comes out quickly. Highly recommend. Also be sure to try the Pellegrino Italian sodas, delicious! My favorite is the blood orange "aranciata rossa".

Aryanna G.

Yelp
Placed an order online, we got there and waited over 30 minutes for an order they told us would take 15. Sophia took our order the phone and did not add our dressing to the order, despite the fact that we ordered it, leaving us there another 15 minutes. I finally spoke up and the older gentleman working there said that the woman who rang us up never included that. The man went to the back and came out in less than five minutes with the dressing and handed it to us, yet still kept us there while he was speaking to Sophia. Afterwards he waved us away and said bye. Unprofessional and terrible experience.

Cecelia H.

Yelp
This is our favorite pizza restaurant. The staff are always friendly and the BEST Neapolitan style pizza around. Oh, and the hidden gem....is the sangria.
google avatar

Yelp
Original review was ROTD 5/21/2014 Been here numerous times and tried a bunch of stuff. It's gloriously authentic, but I am too Americanized and ruin it by always ordering extra cheese. I do like the pizza here but it is a tad expensive so I only come for like a special treat. Hubby isn't as fond of the place either as pizza is pizza to him so he'd rather just get the cheap chain stuff. The Specialty Pizzas are the ones on the black board. To Try: Specialty Pizza: Montana Classic Pizza: Margherita Signature Pizza: Ah Sausage (if the thick kind not the crumbly kind) Signature Pizza: Bacon Ranch Signature Pizza: Chicken Parmigiana Alfredo Signature Pizza: Primo Signature Pizza: Ricotta Signature Pizza: Steak Signature Pizza: Veggie Signature Pizza: Scusi LOVE!: - Appetizer: Fried Ravioli (best without sauce) - Appetizer: Mozzarella Sticks - Build Your Own Pizza: Four Cheese with green bell peppers, olives, and onions - Dessert: Pistachio Cannoli - Signature Pizza: Buffalo Chicken - Signature Pizza: Chicken Parmigiano Like: - Dessert Pizza: S'mores - Signature Pizza: Hawaiian - Specialty Pizza: Philly Cheesesteak Ok: - Dessert: Chocolate Chip Cannoli - Signature Pizza: Four Cheese - Signature Pizza: Four Meats - Signature Pizza: Prosciutto - Specialty Pizza: Andouille Louie Dislike: - Appetizer: Garlic Knots - Pizza: BBQ Bacon Ranch - Signature Pizza: Two Meats - Specialty Pizza: Pistachio Pesto

Yelp
I was fortunate enough to be rang up by the owner, Adrian. He was very passionate about his food, its history, and emphasized his philosophy on quality over quantity for ingredients and their sourcing. I had the La Stella after he asked if I've "ever had lemon on pizza"- I hadn't up til that point but let me say I was not prepared for the amazingly unique flavors this pizza provided. I have been to Italy- namely Rome, Naples, Sorrento, and Venice, and I can confidently say that Ciao Baby's (including Adrian) pizzas hold their own against some of my favorite places there, even in Naples. I only visited Ciao Baby once when I was in town visiting a friend, but, truthfully, I find myself still thinking about that La Stella pizza.

Tyrone H.

Yelp
Got margarita pizza's and Greek salads for me and the family, both were delicious. Was so good went back the next day. Second day we ordered to go, stayed in car then looked up and one of the guy's working there was at my door with my food. For clarity do not make this your expectation from them, im recognizing them for their customer service going out the way attitude for their customers.....hate I did not take pictures of my food, so good did not make time

Yelp
Pleasant atmosphere and food! Workers and owner were on top of it and very welcoming. Service was fast

Yelp
Real Authentic pizza! Friendly staff and a nice, easy atmosphere. Sinatra tunes playing continuously while I was there. The pizza was great and reminded me of the pies you get in Italy. Highly recommend if you like "real" pizza.

Yelp
Food is unmatched in the area - lunch or casual dinner. They have a genuine Italian wood burning oven with Italian ingredients flown in from Italy to make it feel and taste like the real deal. Had a nice chat with the owner while there, who is usually found working the oven. Every pizza I've tried so far is delicious but I have to say my tops are the Philly steak one and the pistachio one. I hope they always stay in Collierville and would love to see them eventually move down to the square!

Yelp
Having tired of Costco's pizzas, I wanted some variety. I almost went to Little Ceasers but after doing a Yelp search I saw this place with pretty good reviews. I searched Google Maps for the menu prices from a month ago and it didn't look too bad. More expensive than what I usually get but I figure I'd splurge. But when I get there I notice the menu on the wall looked different. Hmmm. I really should've checked online at their web page because the updated prices are there. Pizza prices went up about $2-$3 average by the look of it. Rats. Oh well. I do appreciate that they are considerate enough to post current prices because a lot of places these days are just getting outright lazy and charge you more hoping you won't notice or care. The staff there looks like mostly high schoolers which I thought was great. Helping build the local youth is always nice to see. They were all attentive and very nice and pleasant too. A nice change from what I saw at McDonald's next door during lunch earlier in the day. They got a soda fountain and wine too. It looked like some imported beverages were available as well (photos uploaded). The inside was packed with folks so obviously it's popular on a Friday night. There's no designated seating area to wait for your pie. So I just took a seat anywhere. After I sat down, a white haired gentlemen came up to me and asked if I was a photographer. I said I was just Yelping. He said to go ahead and Yelp him. So I guessed he was the owner. He came back later to ask if I'd given him a 5 star review. I told him I hadn't tried the pie yet. He asked if I was a pizza snob. Yikes. I reassured him I wasn't by noting that I almost went to Little Ceasers and he laughed it off. He asked what I had ordered. I told him the Quattro Carni, although I almost ordered the one with anchovies because most of the places I usually go to don't have anchovies. He suggested next time that I order the La Stella if I like something a little spicy (the spicy meat is from Italy) or their pistachio pie if I like pistachios. I do like the fact that the owner was there working the floor. It's old school cool and IMO shows they care about their business. The pie came within a reasonable wait time. Parmesan cheese and red chili flakes are available to go. It only took 15 minutes to get home and the pie was still reasonably hot. I like the crust. It was soft. The pizza is of the thin variety. My first impression was it was salty. I guess it was because of all the meat? Or maybe it's just my age. Well, my father had a bite too and I didn't tell him I thought it was salty but the first thing out of his mouth was "wow that's salty". Well he's old too. But at least it wasn't just me. My kid has a slice but didn't complain though. Except she didn't like the tomato sauce. Well, other than being salty, it's flavor was good. Portion wise it was ok. I didn't see any signage about the size but I ate 3/4 of the pie myself and was comfortably full. My kid had 1 slice and my dad only 1 bite. 1 slice for the fridge. But the thing I didn't really care for is that all the toppings kept sliding off when I tried to separate a piece of the pie to eat, or when I tried to pick it up. I tried rolling it for a while and then found it was just easier to use a fork. I don't know why it kept doing that. Sometimes I've noticed that happens when a pizza is really hot but it wasn't like that piping hot by the time I got home. Yet it kept doing that even after it cooled off. Probably good for Keto followers as you don't have to exert any effort to remove all the crust. But for the rest of us it's just kinda annoying. Menu and some videos of the inside and pizza are uploaded.

Yelp
The food is phenomenal!!! Service was really friendly and the food came out quickly. Ambiance is also lovely

Yelp
Pictures and reviews on yelp give this place to much credit. I ordered a spinach salad to start and it was good, exactly as described on the menu. I should have added onions. We ordered two pizzas, one margherita pizza and one Philly Cheesesteak pizza. Margherita pizza is a simple classic and should be light and fresh. This thing had no actual tomatoes, only sauce, and no fresh chunks of mozzarella. Everything was blended together with a few pieces of basil on top. A Totinos pizza could have given it a run for the money! Philly Cheesesteak pizza, gross Soggy from pouring mushroom juice from the can on the pizza before putting in the brick oven.

Yelp
Best pizza in Collierville hands down. Authentic, always delicous, and fresh. Good drinks too!
