This pizza place is worth the drive! They have excellent customer service, are super friendly, great food, and their local. I would 100% recommend this for any occasion! They also have a bar and bakery right next door; it's truly the perfect place for a hangout.

I want to start by saying how impressed I am by the staff’s ability to remain calm and kind during an unrelenting, high volume service. They kept it together and didn’t let the quality of the pizza or service suffer because of how busy they were, and I respect the hell out of that. They make neo-Neapolitan style pies, ranging from creative to classic standbys. They even give you the ability to build your own pie. The crust is pillowy, with great chew, structure and gorgeous leoparding. The toppings are high quality, well seasoned, evenly distributed and complement each other well. I will say, don’t sleep on the olives, they have a nice spice to them and even though served chilled still have great texture and flavor. Definitely come prepared to stand in line, which is a small price to pay for great pie. The wait is more than bearable especially considering they are directly across from one of Tucson’s best tap and bottle shops. Grab a beer, relax and prepare for a wonderful meal made by incredibly talented and sweet people.

Ciao Down is a must visit for any pizza lover. The pizza is absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and full of flavor in every bite. The staff are warm, friendly, and always make you feel welcome. If you haven’t tried the Snakebite, do yourself a favor and order it! It’s a game-changer. Highly recommend this spot!

This place is excellent. Crispy crust, amazing toppings. Gourmet pizza to the max. Tucson needed a place like this and it's wonderful to enjoy a beer on the patio at the bar while you wait for your pizza. This place is HOPPIN so make sure if you go to be ready to wait, because it's worth it! Congratulations on opening your new locations, y'all. Hoping and hoping that maybe you'll be checking out the east side of town for your next place!!

Silly Great Pizza. We're from Oregon, and Tucson has the best Food Scene! Ciao Down is a new favorite for us. Great people, even when when busy. Accurate estimates for finished pies. Treat yourself. Amazing environment. A must to try!

They used to put more ingredients on the pizza. I just ate there 8/29/25. It was my 3rd time eating there in the last year, and I recall there being more toppings. I had the Veggie Patch and Bourbon & Fig. I always get at least half Veggie Patch when I come, and yesterday's was disappointing. The dough and cheese were good, as normal, but it was sorely lacking in toppings and sauce. It mostly just tasted like dough.
