Ciao Down Pizza Studio

As a former employee, this is tough to write. Pizza used to be delicious, quick, and with a smile. The new crew doesn’t appear to have any hustle and the last 3 times we’ve been in, we’ve received extremely burnt pizza after waiting 60-90 mins. Pizza tonight was the size of a child’s order and was again quite crispy on the crust. Was told the wait was about 25 mins and waited an hour. Management are good people but the crew desperately needs re-training. I don’t really care to spend money here anymore which is deeply disappointing.

Great outdoor seating area. Love that it has a treats place next door with gluten free and vegan options even gelato. Gluten free crust tastes good. Not sure if it was cauliflower based.

Next to Tucson Hop Shop. Staff went above and beyond. Very kind people. Best price on quality pizza in Tucson. Not greasy. Good ingrediants. We had a veggie with sausage and a Snakebite pizza. The crust is very good.

This is a shame. I used to be a regular, as I live nearby and stop in for pizza and beer frequently. Ever since they switched gears and staff recently, after their failed attempt at nachos (not sure who thought nachos was a good business plan, seriously) their pizza has gone completely down the toilet. I ordered a favorite- the Big Dill - and it was a completely different pizza. thick, greasy cheese. messy. lacking in toppings. It had NONE of the previous quality. And to top it off, they are the reason there are no longer food trucks coming around. So now the only food option is this expensive, low quality pizza. Never giving them my business again. I hope the Hop Shop gets some quality food neighbors again someday soon!

We frequent this place for great and unique pizza. We love the snake bite and the big dill. But today, we tried the harvest moon, the bbq chicken, and the cheesy bread. It was delicious. I highly recommend this place for unique pizza combinations. Just don't be boring when coming here and get a pepperoni pizza. Branch out a little. The harvest moon is a perfect example of trying something out of the box, tasted like a Thanksgiving on a pizza.

This pizza place is worth the drive! They have excellent customer service, are super friendly, great food, and their local. I would 100% recommend this for any occasion! They also have a bar and bakery right next door; it's truly the perfect place for a hangout.

We visited Hop Shop with a large group on what we expected to be a quiet Wednesday, but it was unexpectedly busy. The staff handled the situation with professionalism, clearly communicating wait times and managing the rush efficiently. Our food arrived within the estimated timeframe, and the pizza was excellent. We appreciated the staff’s transparency and professionalism and would happily return.

Absolutely delicious pizza! We tried the big cheesy and the mother clucker and they were perfect 😍 the cheese pull on the pizza is everything I'd hoped for!
