I owed this to you: Choosing a place to eat and have a good time in Miami, and especially on 8th Street, is a difficult task, as there are so many and varied options. My brother and sons were visiting us from Louisiana and wanted to have a good time, but above all, to enjoy the delicious Cuban food they yearn for, and which their children barely know. 8th Street is one of their favorite spots for shopping, taking a look at Cuban culture, and strolling. We were deciding on a place for a late lunch when, as we passed by this establishment, Ari, a beautiful Cuban woman, seduced us with her voice and charm. Never was an invitation to a restaurant more opportune than the one we received from "The Queen of the Salon." A beautifully decorated place, recreating the magic of the 1940s and 1950s; with varied, abundant, and top-quality food, denoting professional, exquisite, and delicate culinary work. The service and suggestions from Andres, the waiter, were detailed, friendly, and excellent. The Cubania atmosphere was beautifully achieved by the Cubania trio, which sounds and feels like a great combo or orchestra of the era; with a varied, rhythmic, and flavorful repertoire. Thanks, guys, for such great music. Enjoy it! You made our day! Fabulous team. A wonderful place. (See the pictures.) I invite you to enjoy!
