Ciao Hostel

Perfect place for taking pictures of the sunset. Great food. A little bit far away from downtown…. But they own a mini bus that comes and goes every now and then.

This hostel is perfect for backpackers. The view from every room is directly heading to the sea. The rooms are all clean. It's also the best spot to see the sunset from its rooftop, beautiful. It's not so close to harbour but there are shuttle trucks that are ready to pick up and transfer you to the town from morning up to the evening. This hostel also provides movies every night started from 9 pm.

Best hostel ever. You must book the rooftop room and see the view when you wake up in the morning. It is so beautiful. And this is the best place to see sunset. The room is clean and tidy. The hostel crew is very friendly and helpful. And the food is great. Very recommended.

Best value for hostel! The open-air dorm room on the top floor has amazing view! You can sleep with beautiful night view and wake up with breath-taking island sceneries from afar. They have restaurant that serves good quality meals with decent price and good spot for sunset. One thing, it's quite hilly to reach the hostel. Good thing they offer free shuttle to/from airport and downtown. Though you can walk to the city center for 15-20 min.

Clean with an amazing view and good set up. Bathrooms were really private. Air con worked well and they had a projector playing movies in the evening. My only complaint would be that the staff didn't seem to have any idea what was going on. We were given beds that were already occupied and people who were staying consecutive nights were asked to move which seemed unnecessary and no reason was given to them. Overall, great atmosphere and would stay again.

Amazing sunset view. It’s a decent hostel, standard bed with standard comfort for 10$ ish a night. Would not expect more. Air conditioning is working well. The very good + is the sunset view. And the fact that you have a restaurant there because it’s quite far from dive shops and night market and all other activities from Labuan Bajo. Staff were nice and laundry was executed accordingly. The other +, is movie night, you can choose which movie you wanna watch in the evening.

This hostel give me new experiences of staying. The view was amazing. Imagine when you wake up, you directly see this view!! You could see the mountain during the day and the night, you could enjoy the sunrise and the sunset. You could see everything from your room. I would recommend you to stay at the third floor (top floor). All the toilets are located outside rooms. It’s a public toilet where everyone can use. The toilets are clean. They also have restaurant at the second floor. I didn’t have a chance to eat there unfortunately. Anyway they usually play a Netflix movie every evening at 9PM at the lobby. You could watch there while drinking or killing time with your friends!

Overall very nice hostel with great view and comfy bed. I felt safe here. The staff is also very nice and informative. Free shuttle bus to the city and airport. The prices are however super high compared to other hostels that also offer breakfast. The restaurant is also way more expensive than what you would pay in the city.
