"Feliccia’s used to be the Italian place to go in Vista -- it was a family-owned spot for 40 years, but the owners, Sam and Nina, finally decided to retire last year, and they’ll be missed. Ciao, however, has stepped up to fill in the gap, with a solid new remodel and two restaurants in one: there’s a more traditional Italian joint on one side, and an enoteca (as well as a new banquet room) on the other. The food might not taste just like the Feliccias made it, but the pizzas here are gorgeous, the bread, desserts, and gelato are all homemade and delicious, and if you’re a charcuterie fan, there’s lots of great cheese and meat to sample in the deli. The place does get busy if you arrive at mealtime, but some solid happy hour deals can make the wait worth it." - Mike Schramm

Ciao was convenient to where we were staying. We were celebrating a birthday, yet no recognition was made by our server once she knew. Service was quick. Food was average. Parking is free and easy.

If you're looking for value, keep looking. Their prices seem to be a little high for pasta and a thin slice of chicken. That said, they also have lunch specials with good items on it. Their $12 salad was not impressive. Romaine lettuce, some tomatoes and a few cut up olives. Presentation was beautiful. I had chicken picatta and it was decent but not sure I'd order it again. Lots of other items to choose from. Very cool bar area. Looks like you can host parties and events here. Even has a little market to grab food from. Patio seating is always a plus. Immaculate bathrooms also a plus. 😉 Waiter was pleasant and service was good.

Got an Anniversary? This could be the place for you! Alix, our server was awesome! Great vibe, food, service. I tried the clams in white wine sauce🍝, very good, with extra lemons 🍋yum!

I definitely enjoyed celebrating my mom's 86th birthday here today. Our server Brandon was remarkable! I wish I could give him 10 stars! The food was good. My mom was disappointed that they were out of lemon cheesecake that she was looking forward too but Brandon suggested the New York cheesecake, and she loved it. He also surprised her with a canoli bday plate! Great atmosphere, and everyone was so friendly. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Cant believe I have not reviewed this place after coming here for decades. This place is the closest to NY Italian cooking I have. Never a disappointment. Big Shout out to Dillon at the Bar. Went above and beyond.

Google
This place is always pretty packed. The parking is kinda terrible. I definitely recommend for date nights and family gatherings. The food itself is nothing mind blowing in my opinion but it's still good. They have a tasty sauce and I loved their tiramisu.

Google
This place was so cool! It has a restaurant inside with indoor seating, outdoor seating, and bar seating. There is also a full Italian market inside where you can purchase fresh meats, cheeses, and fully prepared meals. Highly recommend the frozen meals to go! Makes family dinner super easy by just throwing in the oven and the taste is phenomenal! It absolutely did not disappoint and so glad to find a place like this. Staff were very friendly. Everything super clean and organized.

Our order took too long. We had to ask a couple of servers if we could order and they kept giving excuses. The salad was my favorite.

Yelp
We absolutely loved our experience and the food here! Our service was excellent, from the server, food runner, busser, everyone was so incredibly kind. We went with 2 of the specials and our friends had chicken parm and the ravioli, and everything was amazing, all 4 of us were raving about our dishes. I had the crab ravioli with saffron sauce, and that should definitely be a regular item. I have dreams about that sauce it was so good. Everyone at my table loved my dish. The tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had, before my boyfriend took a bite I told him it would change his life. We will be back again!

Kathleen T.

Yelp
What a great experience! I've heard about your food and it was delicious! The shrimp scampi was cooked to perfection! The best part of our evening was Michelle! She made it a perfect evening with her recommendations and her awesome service. You can tell she takes pride in her job! Thank you for having such fresh food and employing great people! I'll be back soon!

Yelp
We stopped in for weekend lunch. Had a pizza, had a Wood-fired crust, topped with fresh arugula, prosciutto, and shaved parmesan. The crust had nice crispy crust, with a good chewiness to it. The fresh toppings were a nice change from heavy cheese and meat pizza. We also ordered a meatball panuozzo, again a nice fire baked crust stuffed with sliced meatballs, cheese, and sauce. We had enough leftover for another meal. Don't forget dessert, they have a nice variety but we went simple, a scoop of vanilla Gelato w/ a shot of espresso over the top and strawberry cheesecake Gelato with a crispy almond cookie, the perfect ending to a delicious lunch! Sorry, I forgot to take pictures, so you will have to go check it out for yourself!

Grace T.

Yelp
This is a repeat visit, and we brought a friend. We were seated immediately. And we ordered our drinks and food. Very comfortable place for a weekend. Less crowded than usual. Their bread is wonderful as usual. Their menu is fantastic. Pro tip: hubby was craving meatball spaghetti, which is very basic, but they WILL allow customisations!!!!! Yay!! If they split it for you, there is an additional 3 usd charge Also, we got them to split the spaghetti to two so we could get dessert. I live for perusing their dessert display. Everytime we go, there are different desserts on display. This time, we chose mango coconut cake. It was delish!!!! We will be back again

Yelp
What a little piece of Italy nestled in the back of Vista,Ca. Ciao! Met here today for a small birthday lunch. Arrived early so there were not many patrons yet. Looking around you take in the ambiance. I felt like I was in a restaurant in Italy. A big bar, wine bottles on display here and there. I saw a small deli offering meats and cheeses as well as other dry foods that looked imported for purchase. We ordered quite a few items off the menu. For starters we had the Bruschetta Pomodoro, Zucchini Fritti, and the Calamari Fritti. Everything was very tasty, especially the Zucchini. For our main entrees we ordered 2 Meat Napolitano-Style Woodfired Pizza's, 2 Beef Lasagnas, Eggplant Parmiggiana, Hot) Chicken & Ranch Panuozzo,Meatball Panuozzo,. Rigatoni Bosciaoli and a Caesar Salad. Everything came out piping hot with a nice presence. Portions were huge and you notice everything tastes fresh, all the ingredients all the way through. Some of the things that stuck out to me was the dough of the wood fired pizzas and the sausage on them. The chicken and ranch sandwich with pepperoncini which spiced it up and then the bacon kicks in on taste. The layers of lasagna were oh so good. They also gave us complementary deserts for the birthday guests. 5 stars and highly recommend.

Yelp
Celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary with a date to Moonlight Amphitheater. So we picked Ciao Ristorante Italian for our anniversary dinner since it's close-by. This was our 1st time eating here & we were surprised how busy it was on a Wednesday evening. Fortunately it's a large restaurant & we were seated right away. Their menu is heavy with pastas with pomodoro sauce so I ordered the shrimp fettuccine. My wife ordered angel hair pasta w/ marinara. We added their burrata arugula salad & enjoyed a great meal. Their high rating is well deserved. Pricing is elevated but appropriate for the quality of meal & service. Another yelper recommended it for a date night but the atmosphere isn't romantic in my opinion. Even though it was busy & noisy, our conversation was easy, the food came quickly & was delicious. Their tiramisu, my wife's favorite, is something special.

Yelp
What a great hidden gem. Family friendly, good for date nights, or even having an event here. They have a dining room, patio seating, and bar seating. We've sat in all the areas and had a great experience every time. They also have a little section like a market with fresh cheeses, meats, and desserts on display. Tons of yummy options to choose from. Service is good. My only complaint was when we were sitting at the end of the bar, they had a lot of dirty glasses piled up that just stayed sitting next to us so that was our view for awhile. :(

Elvira M.

Yelp
The hospitality was great! The food portions are large! The ambiance is beautiful. Great for dates, family birthday celebrations, any celebration really for large or small groups. They have free parking which is great. They have a bakery section and cheese section and nice LARGE bar section. Reasonably priced food We got two large dishes, pizza, drinks, coffee, desserts all for under 100$ We left with Togo boxes lol Highly recommend this place Super clean restrooms Friendly Food is good and hot Drinks Free parking Over all experience 10/10

Yelp
The Italian food here is top tier. They specialize in almost every pasta you can think of and the servings are a lot; you could probably share one entree with someone else if you wanted to. The pasta and pizza come highly recommended. They do allow dogs in their front patio, but the dinning experience is best in their indoor area vs the patio, so maybe for this place best leave the fur baby at home this one time if you want to get the true immersed dinning experience here. The service was also accommodating to our needs and always attentive with all the things we wanted. Highly recommend to go family-style here so you can shared all the dishes they offer!

Jill M.

Yelp
Excellent spot that includes different spaces for apertivo, dinner, market and events. It's a gem that looks like something you'd see in a city but it's in Vista! This place is well loved, draws a crowd and feels alive. The service and food are excellent and portions are sizable. I just loved shopping in the market afterwards for treats to have later in the week. If you haven't seen by reviews, there's a whole gelato cabinet and a bakery. There's also amazing imported wine, meats and cheeses. Don't do what we did and wait so long to go. You'll miss out.

Sara C.

Yelp
Ciao is fun and fast and family-like. We usually pick up our food to go, and it never disappoints, but it's fun to stay at the bar and drink espresso and have dessert too. Everything is amazing. Everything tastes authentic. And I LOVE that they have an Italian bakery with all of the authentic Italian desserts I grew up with as an Italian American child. The service is always great when ordering to go. I have no complaints here! I get quality ingredients to make my own Italian food from here too!

Sandra G.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Food was hot and freash it tastes like with was made with love. The waitress we had was very nice and informative. The place was clean and very relaxing.

Bruce W.

Yelp
I am from out of town and was looking for a nice place to have lunch . Ciao was some of the best food I have ever eaten. The service was good and the ambiance was unbelievable. I am looking forward to the next time I am in the area to have a nice dinner with my wife. We will be back.

Tim R.

Yelp
Wow, just wow! Such amazing food and a great selection. We visited for a Mother's Day celebration for my mom, wife and daughter. The food was exceptional! The restaurant was such a surprise for its location in the agricultural area of Vista. What a beautiful location. Can't wait to go back again.

Todd J.

Yelp
Dinner was nice. We enjoyed a nice bottle of white wine. Wife had the burrara salad which was lovely and I had the clam linguine in red sauce (in shells) I've never seen so many clams. Lovely dish and delicious. The bread served to the table was nice and warm as well. We then had the tiramisu. Which I highly recommend. The only down point to the evening was the noise. Due to the layout and design of the restaurant everything echoed and was quite loud. Other than that. Great evening.

Aly Q.

Yelp
Brought my best friend here for a birthday dinner. The restaurant was busy per usual on a Saturday evening but the hostess was attentive and sat us within 10 minutes. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and always checking in if we needed anything or wanted to order yet. We started off with the Ponza Pizza- no sauce cheese pizza with prosciutto arugula and Parmesan you won't see it on their actual menu though. Pizza came out on a wooden pizza platter and was 12::10. For our entrees we ordered the fungi pasta and mussels and clams. These did not disappoint!!! We ended the night with a bday cannoli and a stop at their gelato bar. Their gelato is housemade- so you know anything made in house is going to taste good!! Tummies full and minds were happy. Definitely coming back to try more!

Collin W.

Yelp
We ordered delivery for our kids while we went to an adult-only event. Delivery was on time and that part was great. The meat pizza was good, but the second pizza was supposed to be hawaiian, but was not. If you can't send the right food, I won't be coming back.

KayAnna A.

Yelp
A wonderful restaurant for large groups and families. Lots of space and tables throughout the entire building. Staff is very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Plenty of options on the menu. So many, that I was hard to choose! Their bread was fresh and the EVOO in the dipping marinade was delicious. I had the linguine pesto and was absolutely in love. The pesto was fresh and creamy. Noodles perfectly Al dente. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Sunny S.

Yelp
The staff was great and the food was delicious and fresh (not to mention big portions). It didn't give us the same sluggish feeling we usually get after eating heavy Italian food. The little market area inside was neat too. I don't have any complaints but at the same time the food, though delicious, didn't strike me as spectacular "oh my gosh you absolutely have to try this food" level of deliciousness.

Alena F.

Yelp
What Happened? Worst Pizza Ever! Ordered a Vegetarian, the topping was mushrooms & olives, what happened to the rest of the veggies?! only 1/2 had cheese on it! Called, but no call back. Check your Pizza!

Елена Д.

Yelp
That's our favorite Italian place! They are really THE BEST! Everything here is amazing! Food is delicious, good choice of wine, best service and such a friendly atmosphere! Every time we go there we have the best time! I swear I had butterflies in my stomach after dinner here! They make you feel like you are the family or close friend. They treat you like you are their family! Best, best, best! I wish I could write a poem about this place, that's how good they are . Me and my husband were driving more than an hour here just because we are in love with this place. We had so many dates here, my husband proposed to me here, we celebrate our birthdays here, and of course Valentine's Day! Thank you Ciao, thank you so much for everything you do and for our emotions!

Ivy F.

Yelp
Alfredo sauce tasted store bought and the chicken was flavorless and small like it was the scraps. The lasagna was good after picking off the layer of non melted Mozzarella. Justin the waiter was super kind and friendly but everything was overpriced for the quality. Wish I tried some of the amazing looking desserts but oh well.

Krajicek K.

Yelp
Met friends here for dinner. They don't take reservations so we went at 5:30PM on a Saturday evening. The front parking was full when we got there at 5:20PM. There is additional parking at the back. Once walked in , there is a little market area where one can buy meats, desserts, dried pasta, and some groceries items. To the right was a bar and dinning area. To the left, more dinning area. This restaurant serves quality authentic Italian food. Pizza, pasta/risotto dishes, and claim/mussels in marinara sauce were all delicious! Before you head out, don't forget to get some meats, gelato, or dried pasta home. Will definitely come again!

Darci M.

Yelp
Another great dinner out with friends. Love that you can count on quality food, good service and good atmosphere. I feel comfortable bringing this place up as a suggestion cuz it never disappoints. From The wine paired with pastas or fresh fire cooked pizza it's always amazing. Don't forget about the gelato after dinner.

Jessica P.

Yelp
To be honest, I'm not sure what happened when my group of 3 came here for the first time. The service was great but the food was not it. The food was just super bland, it definitely needed more flavor in every dish we ordered. My friend literally returned her lasagna as she said it tasted spiked. Unfortunately we will not be coming back here.

Ryan B.

Yelp
Mama Mia this place is something else!!! I'm no Italian, but I assume this is what dining with Italian royalty would be like. Escape Vista for the evening and enter the doors to an Italian get away. The bar is stocked and always a starter for my wife and I. With a seemingly unlimited amount of wine, and a pizza oven cooking before my eyes, i felt as if I was actually IN Italy, and that I could actually speak Italian. After realizing I couldn't in fact speak Italian, I was saved by the waiter. Luckily he could decipher my finger points and hand gestures. I tried the Lobster Ravioli with a Caesar salad. And I was impressed all around. The pasta was cooked to perfection, clearly prepared by a seasoned chef. Ciao holds my stomach when in need of quality Italian food. If you have any questions, save them for the wait staff. You should really be headed there now if you're looking at this review.

Michael T.

Yelp
This is the best Italian food in San Diego by far !! Quality, price, ambiance is all amazing! And the service on top of that makes you feel like you are family !

Warren S.

Yelp
Once a month we frequent Ciao! It's about time I gave them their review. Without a doubt, 5 stars! Food is incredible! Staff is friendly, mostly family, but those that aren't family have a high turnover (Bartender's). We like to sit at the bar and converse. Their wine list is impressive, worldly and cost effective. You can even save more $$ during their daily Happy Hour specials. My go to is to start with a Nero d'Avila and finish with their Montepulciano. Their Super Tuscan is phenomenal as well. The highlight and reason everyone keeps returning is the food. Made to order, fresh, authentic and tasty. The wood fired pear and gorgonzola Napolitano style pizza is the absolute House Favorite. Perfect pairing of sweet and a sharp, noteworthy bite. A must order! We've also sampled their wood fired Napolitano sausage pizza, the Rigatoni Arrabiata, the bruschetta and their Antipasto salad. You really can't go wrong with their menu. More often than not their fresh deli has nobody behind working the counter to get freshly sliced meats and cheeses. Hard to plan a masterful charcuterie board when their fresh choices are not available. Only one out of four times we've been able to be helped at the deli. Mostly we hear, " everybody is busy right now." It seems only 2 to 3 people are trained on the slicer. Can't wait to return in April! This review is for anybody who wishes to hear my opinion...

Rosie B.

Yelp
Took a star off because of the pizza was a disgusting pile of salt. LOL!! Otherwise it would have a full 4 if not 5 plus stars !! My husband ordered the Lasagna. It was huge, meaty and cheese galore. The sauce was amazing. I got the shrimp Ciao. The sauce was sweet but not overly. It was perfect. The shrimps were enormous. I wish I could give it perfect stars but the pizza was salty, they didn't even give us the right toppings and we asked for extra cheese and not much of cheese. A box pizza like Degorno would be better. Salty, salty.... Did I mention it was a salt lick!! Hahahaha. Took a bite and tossed the not so cheap pizza. Our waiter was wonderful and the ambience very pretty and romantic. We will definitely be back BUT NO PIZZA!!hahahahahhaah!!

Liz C.

Yelp
We went Friday evening for my birthday celebration. Walked in just before six pm and was seated right away. We all ordered different dinners and ALL were amazing! Our server was awesome and very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. We saved just enough room to share a slice of cheesecake and a Tiramisu (I got wedding cookies to bring home Yum!), everything was O M G!! Being my 3rd time here, I'm also impressed how relaxed the atmosphere is. We could talk, laugh and enjoy our meal peacefully. The cleanliness has always been above good. Prices are fair for the quality of food and service. Highly recommended! Oh and check out the little "shop" where you can buy authentic Italian foods, cheeses, candies, desserts!

William R.

Yelp
Already posted about this wonderful restaurant, but they are so awesome that a second helping of awesome reviews is required. Because, they are awesome!!!!! Looking for great Italian food? Look no further.

Vivian V.

Yelp
We live close to here and I do come a few times a year to stock up on the market side for charcuterie plates for dinner parties but I've never been here for dinner. My husband was craving some pasta so we thought we should finally have dinner here. We came around 8pm tonight (a Saturday) and brought our small dog. They are dog friendly on the patio and have heaters. We got seated immediately and our waitress let us know she was the bartender when my husband ordered a drink and she went over the specials with us as well. The heaters on the patio kept us warm and we ordered one of the specials as an appetizer. It was zucchini blossoms stuffed with mozzarella, breaded and fried, served with red sauce. Really delicious and though our waitress put these in first somehow the kitchen served it with our main courses. No big deal just a little miscommunication it seems. The zucchini blossoms were great. The cheese was melty and hot. The breading wasn't too heavy and the sauce was great. Onto the mains... I was very intrigued by the special Osso Bucco (veal) ravioli served with a mascarpone cream and sage sauce. Literally the best ravioli I've ever had and I asked my husband to go inside and look at the cooler case on the market side and see if among the frozen raviolis there were any of these. Sadly, no and our waitress confirmed that because it is a special it wouldn't be in there. So tragic for me on a personal level lmao. They were so great. My husband loves them and admitted I ordered the superior dish haha. My husband picked the fettuccine with shrimp, mushrooms, cream sauce and prosciutto (the name escapes me). He liked his pasta but loved mine. He's excited to try another dish the next time we go back. We skipped the desserts this time but I've def gotten some individual desserts on the market side before and they are great. Glad we finally tried them out for dinner.

Linda B.

Yelp
If you've ever had authentic Italian food and your tastebuds are craving Italian cuisine, then here's the real deal! Look no further and you will be thoroughly delighted, wishing you had room for more! We were presented with cool still water and a basket of handmade hot crusty/soft, fluffy like sourdough bread, on their cloth tablecloth & napkins. Our Wine, Pear walnut Salad, Eggplant Parm with Spaghetti Pomodoro, Clam Linguini in white wine dinner and salted chocolate with caramel dessert were absolutely delectable and so satisfying. Full portions gave us leftovers for tomorrow's dinner, which is an extra special treat! Upon entering we were welcomed by the owner/host with a brief description of their fresh baked bakery and homemade ice creams/gelato to the left and center right is their stunning full bar. We noticed quite a selection of top shelf bottles of various liquors and wine. I'm pretty sure they had beers too. Their full size brick pizza oven was impressive baking up a variety of pizzas filling the air with wonderful herbal aroma. Service was attentive, consistent and friendly. Lots of clean covered outdoor seating too. We viewed private dining areas and a couple banquet rooms. The entire restaurant appeared clean and staff professional. We'll be back! Thank you Ciao's!

Kendra L.

Yelp
This was my first experience and it was delivery. The fettuccini Alfredo was so strange. Very little sauce and oily noodles. There was a strange burnt cheese taste. Meat lasagna was very herbaceous. Not balanced at all. I felt like I was eating a jar of herbs. Both dishes were just strange . Just a really unusual experience. I will not order again. For $80 I am disappointed.

Leah D.

Yelp
I have been a huge fan of Ciao for years. I recently went there for a relaxing early dinner before the dinner rush. We shared a Caesar salad to start which is always crisp, cold and fresh. I had the Sorrentino Chicken that comes with veggies and a side of spaghetti pomodoro. It was my first time trying this and I absolutely loved it. The serving was gigantic so I had plenty of leftovers to take home. Another favorite is the Quattro Funchi. If you are a fan of mushrooms this is a must. Their homemade bread is terrifyingly delicious. Be warned..... it is easy to get full from the bread before your meal comes but you'll keep eating anyway.

Joriene M.

Yelp
Food (5/5 stars): We celebrated Valentine's at Ciao Ristorante Italiano and ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and Gnocchi. I appreciated the big portions--even the wine servings were generous! Experience (5/5 stars): * Price: kinda pricey but worth it * Wait Time: 5 min for a party of 2 before 5pm on Valentine's. It looked a lot longer later in the evening * Service: Our server Teresa was very good and friendly. We left our credit card and she flagged us down in the parking lot! * Parking: there's a big parking lot * Ambiance: it's a nice, huge restaurant! They even have a small market

Erin R.

Yelp
I love the ambience of this place. It can be a bit on the loud side but it's so beautiful inside, the deli and dessert counter are filled with what look to be amazing and authentic Italian delights. But the food is just OK. I ordered chicken Marsala and the sauce was like water! Maybe that's more authentic? The flavor was good. But the mushrooms were undercooked and I'm used to a sauce that is at least thicker than water. Unfortunately The salad (gorgonzola and walnut) was really bland too. My son loved his chicken parmigiana and it looked really good. My daughters mushroom linguini was very good. So it seems maybe the food is a bit hit and miss.

Regina G.

Yelp
great food and service our to go Italian restaurant the ambiance is good and family oriented and the food is soo good!

B L.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant, impressive dessert counter & bar, VERY generous portions, neat little Italian market ~ sounds like 5 stars, however, the most basic things (Caesar salad, garlic bread & gluten free pizza) were all horrible. The garlic bread was dry & burnt, the Caesar salad was like iceberg lettuce vs Romain with no shaved Parmesan and the pizza had zero flavor and awful texture.(our pizza should have been bursting with flavor- we did garlic, basil, pepperoni, artichokes, spinach) ).

Janelle S.

Yelp
Husband wanted Italian food, I was in the eh mood for Italian but it's been a while since he picked the food so we went. This place is beautiful! It's one of the biggest restaurant I've ever been too! Service was awesome and fast. Upon walking in there's a little store and a ice cream store/desert store, which automatically caught my eye. My husband got a pizza, and I got the clam pasta cooked in white wine sauce, with extra clams and open shell. They gave me the perfect amount of pasta, the sauce was very light and not over whelming. My husband said the pizza was pretty good too. I would def coma back for the pasta. We also got the calamari and they gave us free bread, with tips the bill was around 100$ We walked out with the mango cheese cake and some ice cream, the mango cheese cake was a little dried and too sweet. But everything else was absolutely delicious

David S.

Yelp
The food was okay. We got take out. The pizza crust is very good, however the toppics were ehhh. The garlic i added to a pizza was almost raw and undercooked. The cheesy garlic bread was a disaster. They put the two halves together so the cheese just stuck to one side of the order. Terrible packing thought process. Don't think I would try again unfortunately

Brian B.

Yelp
Great spot for happy hour and delicious food!! Awesome happy hour lasagna. Will definitely be back!!

Walter G.

Yelp
I will call the service or lack of said service- we were party of 7 and the help kept walking by to set up for a large outdoor party and ignoring our party. We had to ask to have more bread more water - also we asked for salad plates to split our salads - it must of been 10 minutes! They never came by to remove our salad plates so they were still there when our meal came- the frustrating part was that they weren't that busy- - I would say the food was soso - mediocre the salads were good but the rest of the was so so. the service was lacking big time . Against our better judgment we decided to purchase from the deli and ice cream section- we purchased two pints of sorbet and it took 10 minutes to get our order- we also purchased 4 cookies for 8 dollars and we weren't told a dozen was 17! Never again will we darken the door of this establishment!

Emily H.

Yelp
Atmosphere: Really cozy yet elegant feel. Service: Good! The staff are friendly Food: -delicious warm bread (very generous amount) beware of eating too much before your main course haha -baked rigatoni (pretty good authentic taste) pasta cooked perfectly -pizza is not too oily, dough is great -alfredo pasta is really creamy but is a little bit too buttery for me

Laura W.

Yelp
The ambience at this place is wonderful. it's perfect whether it's a date or a family event. The lady in charge of the catering Gwen really knows her job. they're happy hour hour is priced right and the food is exceptional. The family run business and has been for years and you can completely tell the quality of everything.

Scott S.

Yelp
Great place for a nice Italian meal. The bread is the best we have had anywhere including Italy! The service is always good and everyone works hard there to give the customer a good experience. The happy hour is unbeatable!

Brandi N.

Yelp
Ordered their maragarita pizza. Canned tomato sauce, wilted basel, and soggy pizza dough. Expected better than what I could get from Pizza Hut or BJ's. Pasta noddles undercooked. No side salads available. Would not go again.

Alan B.

Yelp
I can't believe an Italian restaurant this epic exist in Vista of all places. Came here to visit some friends and they requested Italian food and this place came up on Yelp w a lot of reviews stating it's a local's favorite. I figured I can't go wrong w that and am so glad I picked this place. We arrived on sat 5pm and there were ample amount of parking all around the restaurant. As soon as we went up to the hostess, we were seated immediately for a party of 7 despite the fact that 1/2 the party wasn't going to arrive until 5:30pm. They have a mini market and dessert area to kill some time *wink Food: we ordered the Fetuccine Alla Montanara, Quattro Funghi, the Ciao special pizza, vegetarian pizza with chicken, and linguine Pescatore (all the ones I got pictures of). Food was amazing. Noodles al dente the way I like it. Seafood was incredibly fresh. Pizza was delicious. Only drawback was we over ordered and did not have any room for the delicious looking desserts. Definitely will save space next time. Service was attentive and our waitress really hussled for us. I'm a fan and will definitively return if I'm ever in town again

Yelp
Good local choice. Family dining experience. I will go back again solid food and 2x still this place delivers again it is a solid go to for a local spot. If you're looking for good food and fast service, the setting is a little commercial and it moves a little fast. I will say that I am prefer a more authentic family type setting they're very big and fast moving, this is a consistent go to for steady food and fast service won't be let down the food is not my favorite in town but it definitely did not leave me dissatisfied
