The Hottest New Restaurants in Las Vegas, December 2024

"Chef Joel Myers, most recently executive chef of Osteria Fiorella at Red Rock Resort, helms the kitchen with pasta made in-house — like a rotolo served upright in a play on French onion soup with cheese and caramelized onions. There’s also spaghetti with red sauce and veal meatballs, linguine and clams, and a colorful plate of veal carpaccio with tuna sashimi. Dessert is a show-stopping event, with an elaborate three-tiered presentation of small cakes and treats. And, true to its name, Ciao Vino offers an impressive selection of wine by the glass." - Janna Karel

The main course will be a traditional turkey dinner with focaccia and fennel sausage stuffing, green bean almondine, and cranberry compote. To finish, cinnamon apple crumble a la mode and a rich pumpkin panna cotta will be served. Reservations are available from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on OpenTable." - Emmy Kasten

17 Best Wine Bars and Restaurants in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"A restaurant name meaning “hello wine” is a good indicator for an authentic, Italian-forward wine selection containing the best of Piedmont, Sicily, and Tuscany, to name a few regions. Ciao Vino opened in Boca Park in October 2024 with a nearly floor-to-ceiling wine wall and down-home Italian bites, such as French onion rotolo with taleggio cheese and Vidalia onions. A stacked birdcage of assorted pastries and mignardises accompanied by a dessert wine gives any meal enjoyed here a sweet finish." - Jennifer Smith

The Italian restaurant I visited is a real treat for the senses! The wines served here are simply wonderful, perfectly matched to dishes that delight the palate. The food is delicious, and each dish is a true work of culinary art. I particularly recommend the panna cotta – a dessert that transports you to a completely different dimension of flavours, truly heavenly! An additional advantage is the beautiful interior of the restaurant, which creates an amazing atmosphere. The elegant decor and carefully selected details make every visit a unique experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to taste real Italian cuisine!

My new go to for Italian! Everything from the focaccia to the dessert was amazing! The flavors are even better than the presentation! Excellent cocktails and wines as well! Service was excellent and first class. Highly recommend the Hamachi ceviche and mussel and beef tartare appetizers. Veal Parmesan was tender and moist, tiramisu desert was on point. Definitely coming back!

Beautiful, family friendly restaurant! The menu has a nice selection of authentic yummy Italian food. The pasta is homemade in-house. They also offer happy hour and a nice cocktail selection. The staff were all very friendly, and the head chef came out to personally introduce himself!

First time here and made a reservation for Valentine’s Day ❤️ and it was packed. Impressive interior. Food is amazing! Shrimp Scampi pasta needs more seasonings but their chicken parm is spot on! . Our waitress Alex is awesome 👏. Will definitely try the happy hour and live music every Friday and Saturdays night!

We were at Ciao Vino for the first time for my birthday and we were just amazed!! The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and beautifully designed—perfect for both a cozy dinner and a special night out. The food was nothing short of incredible: every dish was bursting with authentic flavor, fresh ingredients, and a level of care you can truly taste. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was made to perfection. The service was equally outstanding. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest had the best experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations that didn’t disappoint. We also met the Executive Chef Nikolay who personally came to introduce himself and it was just awesome! The restaurant it a truly gem in the heart of Summerlin and we will be definitely going again!

Overall the atmosphere and location is fine. There are more upscaled Italian atmosphere nearby that don't have the direct shopping center vibe. There seemed to be plenty of staff which typically is a nice thing to not have to wait around for someone to refill your water or answer questions. They lacked on taking away empty plates and empty glasses of wine though. Many of the staff had neck tattoos and would say fasho. There was a time that empty stacked plates and empty wine glass were on our table, which felt like 10 minutes. When they took the plates, there was spilled oil on the table that was left there , and entree dishes were placed on top of the oil. At the end of the meal I had oil on my arm. We asked about a recommendation for a full body red and was brought a full poured red that seemed old and stale. Then brought out the tasting step for my partner that said the same thing. We enjoyed the appetizers and starters more than the pizza and pasta.

I think this will be a great place when they work out a few kinks. Big drawback: the meatballs were too salty (pictured here with bread and fried ricotta - the ricotta was really good). Best dish: duck confit ravioli (also pictured here, delicious).

This was my second visit and I will continue to be impressed with this restaurant. The food is fantastic as well as the service. They have an outstanding prix fixe menu that is worth the trip. I've told quite a few people about it so hopefully they'll be successful. My only suggestion would be to turn the lights down a bit for more ambience but the interior design is also quite lovely.
