I visited the store yesterday with my family. My phone battery was nearly empty, and I noticed they had a USB-C charger available. I politely asked if I could use it briefly to charge my phone. However, the lady behind the counter responded sharply, saying it was only for specific use. I was quite taken aback—how hard is it to allow someone to quickly charge their phone? I was genuinely disappointed. I had planned to make some purchases, but this completely ruined the experience for us, and we decided to leave the store. Such poor service. Unfortunately, I felt I had to give them a 1-star rating. If the attitude is this unhelpful over something so minor, I wonder what their approach is like in other parts of their business. A real shame. I hope they reconsider their customer service approach.

CIBONE’s New York location is a must-visit. Living in Tokyo, I often find myself drawn to this shop, which offers a cool selection of products from both Japan and abroad. I knew about this store from seeing flyers in traditional Japanese wholesale districts and artisan shops saying, ‘Our products are also available in New York!’ But visiting in person, I was truly impressed by how well they localized the store and how many Japanese staff members were present. As a Japanese person, I feel proud and want to cheer them on. Keep up the great work!

Transported to Japan in a second ! Love everything from the interior design to every object they sell there. Tho its kinda pricey but its good to have sucha tokyo home goods store in Brooklyn ! They have a cool dashi corner where you can get ingredients by pounds for making your own soup at home. Definitely will come back for their lunch set !

It is like a simple Tokyo design in art form to show the home products. And the shop has cafe within. Good to be around.

A great selection of artisan Japanese home goods you’ll actually use. Everything from bento boxes, to chairs, to daikon graters. The space is beautifully design in the new Japanese esthetic and showcases all the products well.

One of my favorite places not only in the neighborhood, but in the city. I love to take people here—it never disappoints and always lifts my spirits. A very special place and experience.
