"This restaurant situated in the maze of alleyways that makes up the historic centre of Ceglie boasts tables in a small atmospheric inner courtyard. The restaurant has long been famous for its traditional, regional cuisine and is a must for anyone keen to try typical Puglian specialities. The lamb with roast potatoes is particularly delicious, while the wine list features an interesting selection of regional labels." - Michelin Inspector

Local must-visit! Delicious food and traditional apulian cuisine. The kind of food that’s made with love and passion. Strongly recommend trying out antipasti platter with a mix of best local treats. Great service and overall ambience. Make sure to have a reservation.

Delightful setting and excellent food. We had the donkey stew and horse in tomato sauce. Exceeded expectations! Friendly and warm service too

The best restaurant in town! Very good selection of local cheeses and meats. We loved their gorgonsola and pear dessert. I can say that was the best dessert I have ever eaten, and I am a big sweettooth. The girl who served us was amazing.

Five star experience in this amazing restaurant. Top cuisine and better service, profesional, gentle and very helpful in their recommendations. Do not miss the Degustazione: it was really a delicate and flavorful selection of local specialities that your taste will never forget. We were recommended a local wine by the waiter, as they were unknown for us. The advice didn’t disappoint and we were served a really special local jewel, at least according to our taste. Magnificent desserts as well. Another beautiful detail: they are not only family, groups and children frendly… they also accepted dogs! Benissimo!

Stunning meal and the service was impeccable. The father, mother and son combo hosting us made the experience so much more special and memorable. Would 100% recommend the aubergine lasagne a true highlight dish. Beautifully matched wine by the mother of the restaurant too.

Overall the experience was very good. We ordered appetisers (which were very tasty and fun to eat so we would definitely recommend them) as well as 2 courses. All of the dishes were quite good, and some were very interesting as well, but unfortunately we thought that the price was too high nevertheless. It was too expensive for the quality of food, and we thought that we would've been just as satisfied with other cheaper restaurants. It is worth mentioning that the service was excellent though. There were multiple waiters, all of which were very helpful and polite.

Quite disappointing. We found this restaurant via the Michelin guide. We visited on our last night of our trip in Puglia and left unimpressed and it didn’t match our expectations. We had great service and the wine was good. The restaurant is a nice environment, but the food was lacking. This was our most expensive meal on our trip and our least favourite. We paid over €40 each for 2 glasses of wine, antipasti, shared main and shared pasta dish. We ordered the mixed antipasti, which we were excited about being able to try multiple things. There wasn’t a stand out and not a piece was tasty to us. We also ordered the caciocavallo with truffle which came served in a piping hot dish but was cold throughout. The best thing we ate was the lamb shank.

I recently had dinner at Cibus and the occasion was a birthday. I’ve already been to Cibus before and I loved it! We had dinner outside the last time so I had a great memory. While there were some enjoyable aspects, there were also a few disappointments. The restaurant offers a charming outdoor setting that’s perfect for a summer evening—the ambiance outside is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal. However, the inside was quite a different experience. It was uncomfortably hot, and the lack of air conditioning made it difficult to fully enjoy the meal. In the middle of summer, this was a significant downside for me. The meal started off on a positive note with a good starter that was flavorful, fresh and nicely served. Unfortunately, the main courses didn’t live up to expectations. The lamb meat was very dry, and it was a bit burned outside, a bit disappointing as I was hoping for something more tender and succulent. The pasta with ricotta was served a bit cold, and the ricotta had an overwhelming smell and taste that was too strong for my liking, making it a bit hard to enjoy. On the bright side the wine we chose complemented the meal nicely. Overall, the food itself was underwhelming, and the lack of air conditioning inside made for an uncomfortable dining experience. I would recommend sitting outside if you decide to visit, but I hope they address some of these issues.
