This is by far one of my favorite spots. I’m not even a fan of Italian food but this is the freshest, light but flavorful Italian I’ve had. I’ve tried so many things on the menu and everything has been delicious. Although I do have my favorites. The bartender is really quirky and fun! The inside of the restaurant is so cute and cozy! And even the outside seating area is beautiful. It’s always a win here. I visit biweekly!

Such a good service!!!! They figured I didn’t like my pasta just by my facial expression and came to the table to check in. I don’t eat pork, and there was pork cheek in my pasta. And as soon as I tasted it, I got confused. I didn’t read the menu good enough. So the server said, “no this pasta isn’t it for you” with a kind tone and asked me what I would like to have instead. I got a replacement quickly after. My colleagues and I were pleasantly surprised. The interior is so cosy, the food is tasty!! The eggplant starter was SO good, and I liked the tagliatelle the most

How had I never heard of this place before? Amazing find! We headed here after our first choice for the evening had not worked out and it blew my expectations out of the water. A cool, relaxed restaurant with a cellar feel. We got pasta and a gorgeous salad. Was so pleased they would customise their salad for me with no issue. Hugo Spritzes to write home about. Will be back

Excellent restaurant!!! Great staff, great drinks, amazing food. The outdoor seating is really nice you'd never know your on 6th ave. We started with the ceaser salad, apps we had tuna and meatballs. Dinner my wife had ravioli with pear and I had gnocchi with clams and pesto both were phenomenal. We ended it by sharing an affigato and tiramasu, what a great way to spend our anniversary, we will definitely be back!

Great food, service was top notch. I loved the truffle eggplant. Will definitely come back!

Amazing food and service. The octopus was very tender, the pasta was homemade and delicious. The atmosphere could be improved by getting rid of the cables and the closet for the lights next to one of the tables, but if you are looking for great food and service, go here .

My friends and I stopped in at CICCIO Bar & Alimentari for the first time. It was absolutely incredible. Our server was friendly, and her suggestions were spot on. Everyone in our group raved about their food selection. The wine list is excellent. And the outdoor seating is a nice touch. Highly recommend eating here!!

this hidden gem italian spot was a wonderful surprise on a tuesday night. the place wasn’t too busy but offered an authentic italian atmosphere, a wonderful wine cellar and great pasta. we got the gnocchi and the strisce allá chiantigiana (pasta cooked in wine - v original, not found elsewhere in the city from what i’ve seen). both super unique and delicious dishes. i would go back to try more of their appys. great experience and not over hyped.

Ciccio presents as a small, low profile trattoria with exceptional dishes and a selective menu. In a day where the weather feels like 100+ degrees we were welcomed to the table closest to the air conditioning. Our still water was served traditionally at room temperature, but we welcomed the secondary glass of ice that we used to cool our glasses. We debated on which bottle of rose would be best for this heat and were recommend the Sicilian Planeta Rose ($54). We then started with the cooling plate of prosciutto e melona ($19) which paired well with our first sip. As an entree we split the melanzana miso y tartufo (eggplant with truffle)- ($23) and the cappellacci served in a brown butter sage sauce ($29). Our waiter was welcoming and respected the times we were mid-conversation by ever to gently refilling out wine glasses. He kept both our ice and our water glasses full as he noticed we were hot from the sweltering heat. The atmosphere is quiet but at the same time lively with conversations. The music is a mix of bohemian French and singer-songwriter standards. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are famished, but I would recommend if you are looking for premium quality dishes that resonate after you've finished your meal.

We loved this comfy little spot that we just happened upon by mistake. The food is amazing and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Their pastas are prepared perfectly and contain ingredients not seen on every menu which is refreshing and exciting. We highly recommend if you're looking for something that feels like a true NYC restaurant experience.

Bland. The only reason I gave three stars and not less is the atmosphere is top notch cozy and quaint.

Good atmosphere. Took a little longer than expected. Cold Focaccia, below average oily food. Was really excited to try Italian food in the city but this is definitely not your "must-try" .

We made a reservation for four for 7pm on a Thursday. One of us had to cancel last minute and the restaurant was very accommodating. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. During this particular night, the outdoor dining was packed which left us in a cozy, not super loud inside. It was decorated with walls of wine and exuded a cool old school restaurant vibe. We shared the Caesar salad. Not bad but not the best I've had. I found that there was too much dressing. The meatballs were delicious For the entrees, we shared the delicious herbaceous risotto with the perfect balance of vegetables and cream. The wine pasta was also very good and unique. I would come back again to try something else on the menu!

I went there the other night to treat myself to a fancy dinner, and Ciccio's did not disappoint. I had the Caesar salad, a basket of bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, the pappardelle Verdi con salsiccia e cavolo rosso, the creme brûlée, a glass of Sauvignon blanc, and some chamomile tea. Let me tell you...best meal I've had in a long time. I ate every bite. the house made pasta was ridiculously delicious. And the service was wonderful. My waitress was friendly and attentive, and she's the one who recommended the pappardelle, which was a fantastic choice. And the other wait staff kept my water glass full and checked on me repeatedly. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. I will definitely be going back. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was too busy enjoying the meal!

Ciccio is simple, delicious neighborhood Italian cooking with great ambiance to match. Service is always very friendly despite the fact that I have a bad habit of showing up without a reservation and making life difficult. White painted brick walls are a touch of classic New York well matched with fresh flowers and real candles to set the mood for a class dinner. The food is consistently delicious. Fresh pastas are a cut above and always al dente - highly recommend the house special pasta strips cooked in Chianti. But you can't go wrong with a special if one is on offer or the green pappardelle. From the mains, the porchetta is a winner time and again; porky, fatty, crispy with creamy beans, what's not to like? I'd recommend an app if only to keep the good times rolling, the octopus is a personal favorite. Decent wine by the carafe is a nice touch to keep you from overdoing it on a Wednesday. Desserts are consistently good if you have a sweet tooth. All in all, a great choice for elevated trattoria fare and lovely service in a beautiful space.

The Strisce was so freaking delicious. Cute atmosphere and everything we ate was great but the Strisce was special. Get that.

Veggie forward menu, which I like on a philosophical level. Despite this my steak was cooked perfectly, although not with much other flavor or fat. Boyfriends pasta was extremely salty though (I love salt and found it to be inedible) and on top of that it was a fairly long wait for us to get our food.

This place was terrific! First, the place is super tiny but we had a large group of 9 people and they accommodated us at a long table in the back room - it was beautiful and cozy! The menu was great - something for everyone. The gnocchi with Brussels sprouts and pork belly was fantastic and several at our table ordered the salmon special and everyone really enjoyed it. Nice wine and cocktail selection. We were celebrating birthdays so we ordered the cheesecake and Tiramisu - both delicious and the waiter lit candles without issue! The wait staff was awesome - very accommodating! Would definitely recommend this place, but make a reservation in advance if you can. it was completely packed by the time we were walking out. Lots of little tables with people enjoying each other. Great place for a date night or group of friends.

Wonderful ambiance, super friendly staff, and the food is amazing. Been frequenting this restaurant for the past 7 years. Nice for a date night and their wine selection is impeccable.

Cute little spot but some hit and miss. *Gnudi - okayed, not exactly the gnudi I was expecting but more like a cheese and frozen spinach ball. *Strisce Alla Chiantigiana - Waiter's recommendation as a house special and I was glad I got it! It's like red wine flavored pasta very unique to me every single bite! *Black Squid Ink Risotto with Squid and Swiss Chard - big meh.. doesn't feel so fresh. *House-Made Linguini with soy miso Cod fish and Tuscan Kale pesto - little confused by this dish, I didn't taste the miso nor the pesto. Cod Fish is from frozen. Linguini could be homemade but not fresh homemade. * Ricotta Cheesecake - uhmmmmm we so so with it. *Tartufo Ice Cream - very good!

We were visiting from Baltimore and only had one night in NYC. We are so happy we found Ciccio! Our server, Chloe, was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious! The house wine was excellent as well. I have dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate them and help me navigate the best options, which included seafood risotto, and the roasted eggplant with truffle. It was a very cozy and warm environment. My partner said the food and wine fondly reminded him of Venice (in terms of quality and flavor profile).

The one big thing you should take from this review is that you have to try the Lila cocktail. This was my second time at Ciccio and the drink is what brought me back. It's gin, elderflower liquor, cucumber, and maybe one or two more things. Incredibly refreshing, delicious, and strong yet easy to drink. I will come back yet again to have another. I tried the Involtino di pollo for my entree. I really ordered that since I saw there was prosciutto incorporated into the dish and I love prosciutto. I with the prosciutto took more of a center stage in the dish. The chicken had cheese and prosciutto on the inside and crispy skin. It was tasty but I wouldn't get it again. It came with potato purée and sting beans, both above average! We finished with the tiramisu. It came in a cup, which I'm usually skeptical of, but it was one of the better tiramisus I've had in a while, a real tribute to the Italian cuisine at the restaurant. The bartender was incredibly friendly and greeted us as we came in! Next time I'll sit at the bar. I would recommend Ciccio for one or two drinks, or a night cap and dessert. The vibe is romantic and dim, perfect for a stop on a date.

Such a little Italian gem in the city. The food is so fresh, portions are fair, reasonably priced and omg the service is great, everyone is so nice. 1) Make a reservation- seating is limited. 2) recommend sitting outside if it's a nice day/ evening. Such a cute vibe to drink wine and eat, catch up with friends or have a date night 3) I recommend trying as many dishes as possible. Share a pasta and entree, the meatballs are to die for, the cheese/meat board was great, and for dessert we had the tiramisu and orange cheesecake. Will definitely be back!

I had dinner here on my first night in NYC, and it was just perfect! I phoned ahead, but didn't have to wait at all for a seat at the bar, around 7:30pm on a Saturday. The Frutti di Mare Risotto was perfect with a glass of Chianti, topped off with Tiramisu and an Espresso Martini for dessert! A few minutes after I sat down, a couple joined me at the bar--they were regulars who lived in the neighborhood, and had wonderful recommendations! The vibe was lively and cozy, and the bartender and owner are so sweet; the owner even remembered me from when I called. Overall, Ciccio was an amazing start to my solo trip, and I couldn't recommend it enough!

I used to give this place 5 starts. Food was good enough and it is a neighborhood place. Unfortunately everything being blamed on inflation is bonkers because so not worth the money any longer like so many places.

Ciccio has a lot of good things going for it. It's under the radar, so we were actually able to make a reservation for Saturday night on that same Saturday afternoon - no small feat these days. The room was comfortable enough, and the people watching was...interesting - it is an eclectic crowd. Our server was brusque, bordering on unfriendly, but service was good. The chicken liver was not - grainy and under-seasoned. But the pastas got the job done! My husband was very pleased with his lasagna, and for good reason - it was more satisfying than I Sodi's highly touted version - with plenty of artichokes and cheese, a pool of bright, sweet sauce, and a crispy top. My cacio e pepe did not skimp on the pepe, the sauce was just the right consistency, the pasta light and springy. Our steak with salsa verde and a tangle of watercress hit the spot, too. Definitely stop by if you are in need of Italian comfort food and did not plan ahead.

Excellent little spot near the SoHo Playhouse. Grabbed dinner here prior to seeing a play with my girls friends. Everything was delicious. The meatball appetizer, the pappardelle, and the wine all stood out. Polpettine della tosca - Nona's secret recipe beef meatballs didn't disappoint. Great for sharing! Strisce alla chiantigiana- delicious and very flavorful. Pappardelle verdi com salsiccia- this was my favorite dish. Very rich flavors and just the right amount on the plate Tirsmisu- actually very good. And this is coming from a person who doesn't have a sweet tooth normally. Happy hour wines are 10$ before 7pm. The service was very accommodating. I'll be back.

This place was delicious. Came here on a recommendation. I will say that we had a group and while it was fine, this seems more suited for a romantic date spot than group. I would probably not recommend for more than 4 people. Everyone had the meatballs to share and we got seconds on that plate- crowd favorite. I had the lasagna and it was delicious. The service was impeccable and I would go as far as to call them kind and very accommodating.

Gustoso! Everything about this place food , service and ambience was just perfect. Perfect for lunch with friends or romantic dinner. I tried 3 dishes and love it. Will definitely be going back.

Food was awful! The menu is limited. Only good thing was the live music. I don't know how this place can be almost 5 stars. I would just go back for the music. Forget the food.

Authentic Italian dishes all very nice. Arugula salad, eggplant, bacala linguine and mushroom gnocchi. Tartufo to finish. All well made but the the whole wheat linguine was a bit dry and the main entrees were on the smaller European size.

Good food and service. Excellent homemade pasta. Small dining area with an intimate atmosphere. Pricy, but not surprising for NYC.

A lovely experience start to finish. They accommodated us, a group of 6, having walked in without a reservation. From drinks-a spritz, a mezcal Negroni, a Spagliatto, a terrific bottle of Sauvignon blanc-the 2 complimentary dishes of focaccia with dipping oil (didn't expect one let alone two)-to the entrees-papardelle verdi, cacio e pepe, strisce alla chianigiana, meatballs, tortelli-everything was truly fantastic. As we sat we started to smell something chocolatey that was so intoxicating we had to ask what it was. The waiter told us the room next to us was where the pasta and dessert was made and it must have been the chocolate torte. We got it for dessert without looking at the menu. It had an orange flavor and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Unbelievable-to me, a perfect dessert. Again, just a lovely experience start to finish.

My wife makes me come here every 1-2 months. And I have to agree. I can't resist coming back here over and over again. The pasta, meatballs and octopus are just exquisite. Thank you Ben and Peter for your service tonight. We were quite pleased with our outdoor dining experience. Our friend who visited from Texas agrees with how great the food is(her second time here)! We will be back again soon!!!

I want to start this review by thanking their staff. They are super kind and attentive -- that's something you rarely find in NYC nowadays. Now on to the food review. This is an authentic Italian restaurant. The menu is nice and simple. We loved the pappardelle verdi con salsicca e cavolo rosso. It's simply delicious. Their lasagna was very nice, too. We had a cheese and meat plate as antipasti and I have to say that I found that a bit underwhelming. For dessert, their ricotta cheesecake is lovely. And they have a pretty good wine selection.

We stopped here on a Saturday night for a late appetizer and drinks. Rico and Christina, our waiters, were great. They make sure you feel welcome from the moment you walk to the restaurant. Seating was outside with the tables socially distanced from one another. I ordered the Oro for my drink as well as the cheese plate. Make sure you check out this place if you are in the neighborhood!

The pasta cooked in wine is fabulous. I had the same dish I Italy 2 weeks before, and Ciccio did it better. Always good service in this cozy spot on 6th Ave nest Spring Street.

Stopped by here with a friend for dinner around 6pm on a Sunday. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us for dinner. It seemed to be filling up by the time we left. There's a bit more space outdoors. I got the lamb ragu tagliatelle that was a special. The ragu was delicious but felt like the pasta was slightly too al dente for me. Portion sizes were reasonable and prices were moderate.

Amazing as it has always been. Delicious, low key, convenient... just the best restaurant experience anyone could ask for. Been coming here for years and happy to say it's still great.

Such a nice little hole in the wall. Food was beyond delicious here - such a pleasant surprise to have found this tiny but amazing spot. Just seemed like anything we ordered was more delicious than the next. The roasted carrot salad, the pasta and the meat balls ... OH THE MEAT BALLS!! A definite must try spot! Cozy & quaint and super charming.

Wanted to love Ciccio so much; however it fell really short in so many areas. My husband and I made a reservation at Ciccio for our Saturday date night and we were pumped to try the food based on the reviews on Yelp; however the food turned out to be the worse part of the whole experience. The ambiance is really cute and the service is good however, food and wine are way over priced and you should pay close attention to your bill as they will try to overcharge you for things. We started our meal with two glasses of wine which were very small pours. My husband even made a comment that they were smallest pours he had ever seen(wine tasting size) the glasses of wine range from $12 - 16 dollars so I would expect a decent glass. For an appetizer we had the burrata which was good but did not have anything to eat it with aside from a fork... I believe some crostini's would have been great. For our main course I had Pappardelle and my husband had the Strisce Alla Chiantigiana. Both dishes lacked flavor and were really watery. I was really hoping for something with a lot of flavor. We did not order any dessert in fear that it would be a waste of money based on the rest of the experience. When we received the bill I noticed that I was charged $20 a glass for my wine(mind you they do not have a glass of wine on the menu that is $20) when I questioned the waiter about it he said he would need to go check. I am still wondering where the $20 dollars came from. I will definitely not be returning to Ciccio. My feedback for the restaurant: With so many Italian options in NYC I would definitely consider upping you game when it comes to your food.

I made reservations for 12:30pm for a party of 3 on OpenTable, easy peasy. I showed up on time, but had to wait for the rest of my party. They sat me anyways and didn't say anything when I waited for over 20 minutes without ordering anything. When my party arrived, our waiter was very nice and helpful when members of my party had questions. I ended up with their Spaghetti Alla Carbonara with a poached egg. It was really good and definitely filled me up for the rest of the day. Other members of my party had their Potato Gnocchi with tomato sauce and Burger Con La Porchetta. They all enjoyed their meals and had no complaints. This was a "catch up" lunch, so we actually sat for a while after we finished our meals and they never tried to rush us out, which we appreciated. If you're in the area and are looking for a good, quiet place to sit down for lunch, Ciccio is a great option.

The food here is good and they have a great outdoor dining set up (with a semi-enclosed tent and heat lamps!), but the service is sooooo slow. For brunch, I highly recommend the tagliatelle cacio e pepe. The pasta is house made and the poached egg, once the yolk breaks, make the sauce so creamy - almost like a carbonara. They also have complimentary bread service and for something that's free, the bread is pretty top notch. The focaccia especially is just as good (if not better) than the fancy focaccia that you'd have to pay for at other Italian restaurants. It's too bad there were some service issues. My guess is they're operating with a lean staff so everything takes longer. I hope to come again in a post-quarantine world.

I was glad to find this little friendly place the food exceeded my expectations. We started with the pear and frize salad. I had the lasagna much better than expected. My partner had the Meatballs they were happy we will be back when in the area.

Ciccio (apparently pronounced "CHEECH-ee-oh", correct me if I'm wrong) is a lovely little spot that is cozy and inviting. The staff is friendly and there decor is warm and unique. I love how the wine racks add separation to the space, making your experience seem even more intimate. We just came here for drinks, but the food on other tables looked great and the prices are better than most Italian spots in the area. I ordered the Ciccio spritz, their take on the classic Italian drink. It was very refreshing and I loved the pomegranate add-in. It is my understanding that this may change from time to time so I will be sure to return. The Lila drink featured (at the time) elderberry and cucumber, among other notes. I was blown away by how dynamic and tasty the drink was, bravo to all involved! We will be sure to come back, try out the food, and perhaps see some different takes on their fun cocktail list. Would recommend for anyone in the area looking for a nice night out in a great setting.

Have been here twice now and loved it. The seafood risotto is a main dish, but they will make a (very generous) appetizer sized portion as well. Utterly delicious. The involtini di pollo (stuffed chicken breast) was mouthwatering the first time I had it. The second time I felt as if maybe something was missing. Maybe a bit of salt or some spice or something. Don't get me wrong, it was still very good, but it wasn't as compelling as the first time. (In contrast the risotto was irresistable both times.) When I go back -- which will definitely occur -- I'll be having the risotto as a main dish. We ate outside both times. I went in to use the restroom during one visit. It was possibly the smallest bathroom I've ever encountered. (No way a wheelchair user could make it inside.) The inside of the restaurant also seemed cramped. But outdoor dining was great. Good service and heaters available.

I'm only giving this restaurant 3 stars because of the service. We had the worst waitress ever, she did. It want to be there and she showed it. Barely knew the specials. Was impatient when taking our order. Took forever to get everything. Never brought us the wine, the owner had to step in. Placed the plates in a very bad way in front of us. Brought us the check without us asking, didn't even have the chance to order coffee. The food was very good and the atmosphere and setting was great! I wish we would have had another server, and if you go you might be lucky and not have that burned out person.

I came here in August for outdoor dining with a friend. This is a cute little spot in the city and it is close to a few bars. The servers were very nice end laid back. I ordered the tuna tartare as an appetizer. It was fresh and delicious and the presentation was great! I also ordered the risotto. Everything was authentic and was full of flavor. The portions were decent but felt like a lot because the food was quite rich. I will most likely return here again.

The food here was really average for what you're paying. The portions are not great for sharing. The vibe inside the restaurant is on point for a date night and the staff was very friendly. 3 stars mainly for the vibe and the staff.

Our first time at Ciccio and we loved it! We enjoyed the charming outdoor table. Our waiter was excellent and he helped me pare down my wine (Coppo Gavi) and entree selection (green pappardelle with cabbage and sausage) and the house special Chianti pasta for my husband. To start with was the wonderful focaccia bread with oil/b. vinegar (thanks so much as most restaurants lack in the bread starter dept.) My husband enjoyed the pulpo appetizer (very nice warm pureed chick pea sauce & nicely grilled pulpo). and the house special Chianti pasta. The pastas were homemade and you could tell the difference (al dente, my favorite, too). The two pasta dishes were outstanding and unique (you are not going to find these at another Italian restaurant). The pappardelle was so fabulous that it is going to keep me from branching out to try other dishes, but it was "that" good!). Luckily my husband will branch out and we can gradually taste our way through the menu. We will definitely be back!

I loved this place even before I came. What I also loved was that the staff was speaking Italian amongst each other - when a restaurant is Italian-owned it just radiates authenticity right away. I went for dinner on a Wednesday night - the restaurants was completely full, bar included. I had a reservation for 830PM which I moved to an earlier time and was easily accommodated by the host. We were seated right away and two different staff approached us to take our drink orders and share their recommendations. Our waiter, Matt was fantastic and helped me decide on my main course pasta. They brought us hot foccaccia to start, which nearly disappeared the minute we got it. Soft, warm and filled with flavour. For my main course, I ordered the Pappardelle Verdi con salsiccia. This was one of the best plates of pasta I've ever had. It had Gorgonzola, sausage and red cabbage in a cream-based sauce - all of these strong flavours and it wasn't nearly as heavy as I had anticipated. In my opinion, that's how you know the ingredients are fresh. Paired with a glass of red, it was the perfect dinner for a short trip to NY. As well, the vibe in there is so rustic with dim candles and lights - you won't want to leave your table. Friendly staff, phenomenal food, good music - what more can you ask for!

I absolutely love this place - authentic food, mostly house-made pasta dishes, served by gracious staff in a space that feels like you are in an ancient restaurant in Rome. If you have never had true cacio e pepe, the classic pasta dish of Rome, this is the place to go for it. And then branch out to some of the more unique choices like ravioli with fava bean filling, or pasta strips finished in Chianti. I want to move to the neighborhood just for Ciccio.

Love love love! I have gone to pasta heaven and back! Don't try this at home unless you have a Florentine grandmother ;) I walked by Ciccio hundreds times in the past couple years. But being mostly on keto diet, the signage "homemade pasta" is not typically appeal to me. Magically, I decided to drop by one of these miserable winter night after yet another biz trip, tired and hungry. The moment I stepped in, I fell in love with the cozy, romantic yet casual vibe. It is a neighborhood eatery, "alimentari". Aptly so. Promptly offered wine and water. I was ready for food. Although my first pick was the pulpo, yet when my Italian waiter recommended the pappardelle verdi aka wide ribbon greenpea pasta with homemade Italian sausage in gorgonzola cheese sauce and red cabbage. The rational side of me thinking, trust the expert. And I am glad I did! it is creamy and hearty with subtle nutty sweetness (from the peas and cabbage). Words escapes my mind....paired with an equally earthy Sicilian red. I am so coming back and try the squid ink risotto next!

I brought my friends to Ciccio to try it out with me and expected a lot from this place because it does have a 4.5 star rating. We were the first ones there for dinner and were seated right away. The restaurant itself has a very nice ambiance, very cute and cozy. The service wasn't that great even if we were the only ones there. We also told them to split the check with 2 cards/gave them specific directions, but they still managed to mess it up. The food also took around 30 minutes to come out. Now as for the food my friend ordered the Lasagna and was pretty satisfied with it. I personally liked it too, so I would recommend that. As for me, I ordered Risotto Al Frutti Di Mare, but instead of risotto I changed it to tagliatelle. The seafood in this pasta was very delicious, but the pasta itself was very bland. I wasn't impressed at all. Maybe it's because I asked to change it to a pasta, but I was upset when I took my first bite into it.

Delicious, quaint, authentic Italian restaurant! I'm so glad I found this spot - they had resvs on open table on a thurs night so i grabbed it up without really knowing much about it. The appetizers were fresh - the burrata was so creamy and the prosciutto was delicious. Our wine glasses were full and the wait staff was extremely friendly. For my entree I got the lasagna and it was good for vegetarian :-) I normally like meat in my pasta but had to try it. The other people in my party got the fish and seemed to love it. For dessert we had to get the tiramisu and it was to DIE FOR. The place gets super loud because it's small and bustling with conversation but it's a nice vibe!

Charming Italian spot. Booked it for Valentine's Day as I thought it would be perfect. Upon walking in, I was not disappointed. The ambiance is great for a date night vibe. Quaint and romantic. Unfortunately, the food just wasn't up to par. Good attempts at homemade pasta dishes, but they were overall lacking. We got their classic pasta dish which they are known for and it definitely left something to be desired. Red wine sauce just wasn't so good. The tagliatelle and meatballs were also disappointing. Hard to mess this up, but they managed. The redsauce was totally flat. The meatballs were actually some of the worst I've ever had. Not tasty at all -- we didn't even eat them after trying. The "nude" ravioli to start also was disappointing. Burrata was just okay. Overall, a nice place that is giving it it's best effort, but food just really isn't very good, especially when considering the dozens of other NYC Italian spots that are serving up delicious food

I can't rave enough about this place! Amazing authentic Italian food with homemade fresh pasta. Doesn't get any better than that! My friends and I got several dishes to share which I highly recommend because they're all very good. The octopus appetizer was cooked perfectly and it was very tender. The pasta in the tagliatelle and strisce dishes was made in house and the flavors were bold and spot on. The risotto and gnocchi were delicious but compared to the other dishes, I would prefer the two pasta dishes since they stood out so much. All of the dishes I've attached in this review I would have again. The restaurant is a bit small so I would recommend making a reservation. Would definitely come back here again!
