We returned because for some reason (the chef didn't feel like it), the degustation menu was not served. On returen the menu was available and thouroughy disappointing, with the exception of the gazacho cocktail. None of the dishes was freshly prepared, that is to say, none required cooking, just assembling or heating. It was downhill from the cocktail. The eggplant curry left too much of a taste and was just a blob of eggplant with sauce.
The main course, a duckfilled cannelloni, was a blob of dough, no presentation tried. It was followed by a desert that was a blob of dough.
A disappointment. We felt the chef did not even try. If he did, he's not particularly good. Looking back we should have picked up the signs that first evening. The chef is not very committed.
