Four Seasons Hotel Austin: What to Know About the Animación at Ciclo Dinners - Eater Austin

"Four Seasons Hotel Austin restaurant Ciclo is now offering an animated dinner series from TableMation Studios. Reservations for Animación at Ciclo are available starting Thursday, February 2. The Austin stint brings the TableMation show to Texas for the first time with a new script where two chefs go on a food adventure, paired with dishes from the hotel restaurant. The meat-heavy fixed menu — tuna tartare, citrus-marinated sea bass, steak and raviolo, and a trio of desserts — corresponds with elements of the storyline. Dinner reservations for Animación at Ciclo are $195, which does not include tips or parking (although the price includes a welcome cocktail). Wine pairings are an additional $95. Animación at Ciclo is available on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7 p.m. for a maximum of 12 people." - Erin Russell

Thank you for welcoming us, and for the amazing food! My dog was right at home on the patio with some cookies and a water bowl that they kindly provided. They have a dog and cat menu with plenty of options as well. For the humans, the sweet corn empanadas and braised short ribs did not disappoint. The bon bons were the perfect end to the meal, complete with a dry ice presentation! The service and experience were outstanding. The staff there were attentive and genuine, which makes for an unforgettable experience.

I’m usually not the biggest fan of hotel restaurants. They capitalize on their convenience factor by providing average food and then gouge you on the price. Ciclo, located on the ground floor of the Four Seasons along the riverbank, is the complete antithesis of that. The food, service, and atmosphere (especially at sunset on the patio) were all excellent. For example, the house-made salad dressing had a unique flavor that gave us a wow moment. Think about that. Something as benign as salad dressing made a great impression. The amuse-bouche was deceptively delicious. It looked like a sunny-side up egg but delivered a sweet, mango flavor. How creative is that!? The servers were engaged and took care of us extremely well. We’ll definitely come back even if we don’t have the convenience of staying at the hotel.

Was staying along the river at another hotel but decided to try a nice restaurant one of the nights. Service was fantastic and food was delicious. We basically had the place to ourselves and a view outside on to the patio. The food was amazing and portions were a good size. Would definitely recommend if looking for fancy/fine dining.

Located under the Four Seasons in Austin, TX. Ciclo delivers a great atmosphere and service for guests, unfortunately, the food fell short of our expectations at the given price point. Presentation was spot-on, flavours were non-existent.

We came for dinner on a Saturday night. Ciclo is located at the bottom floor of the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Austin. It was a lovely evening with delicious food and a calm ambiance. Here was our experience: Parking and accessibility: there are a few parking spots at the hotel; however you can find street parking and parking lots near the restaurant. Menu and seating: I think the only feedback was where we were sitting there wasn’t enough lighting so my partner had a hard time reading the menu (we were by the windows). Perhaps stronger lights or at least a better lighting candle? Anyway, nothing a cell phone flashlight couldn’t solve! Location: the restaurant is down the stairs from the hotel and backs into greenery and the river with a view during the day and at sunset. Food: the food was delightful overall. The burrata salad was out of this world! And the grilled bread that came with the salad was amazing; not too hard and not too chewy. The Parker rolls, oh wow! I loved it! For entrees, my partner thought the filet mignon could have been better, but otherwise was good. I ordered the fish and seafood and it was amazing! I think their specialty here is fish and seafood because it was so delicious! Service: the server was so wonderful! She was patient and pleasant! Overall a beautiful night! Would come here again!

I think this is one of the must try places in Austin for sure. We ordered the marg-no-rita and the beekeeper and they were so good, light and refreshing that it was difficult not to order refills. Their sweet corn empanadas, pollo a la mexicana, and grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious, the fries were perfectly crisp and portion sizes are perfect. Their crème brûlée was sooooo good.

This was a desert-only visit. 100% worth the stop. The staff and the facility were amazing. The deserts were perfection.

Yelp
Solid breakfast menu. Pricing on par for what you would expect at a Four Seasons (not cheap, but quality is high). My pancake duo was delicious and well made. Bacon was crispy and comes 4 to an offer. Staff are courteous, but service was pretty slow this morning. Coffee is also pricy but decent. All in all, not a bad option for breakfast if you don't want to or don't have time to leave the property.

Yelp
Ciclo was a great experience for our party of 6 (including a toddler). We came in for an early dinner and were treated to excellent service from start to finish by our waiter John. He was super nice and explained the menu well while providing some recommendations we took for the apps. I got the short ribs which just fell apart. Others in the group got the filet, ribeye, and salmon, all to rave reviews. It was a little pricey but you're in a Four Seasons so that's to be expected. Great spot for a fancy dinner or if you're staying at the hotel you have to check it out for a meal. Will definitely be back to try some more apps and entrees.

Yelp
Located inside of the four seasons we dined here for the brunch buffet. Expect an upscale dining experience with great vibes and service. Only downside for the brunch they only offer the buffet and the menu isn't available during brunch. You get just about everything on the buffet from your traditional breakfast items, prime rib, steak, lamb, potatoes, pasta, and non traditional items as well. There is also an eggs Benedict station too. Service is top notch, great food, and a beautiful patio that overlooks the lake for a great vibe. Prices are a little expensive but that is to be expected dining at the four seasons. Also they have a wide variety of dessert options and they were all great. My personal favorite was the chocolate peanut butter mousse with the peanut butter cup on top. A great spot to get brunch at for a special occasion

Yelp
Soooo good! Food, drinks, service, decor, scenery, EVERYTHING was wonderful. Highly recommend this gem that is inside the Four Seasons Hotel bordering Lady Bird Lake.

Yelp
We started with the Fredericksburg Roasted Peaches Salad (GF) baby spinach + cranberries + red apple + goat cheese + spiced pecan & honey dressing, which we ordered another one as it was so phenomenal. We wanted one with our entrées as well. The corn empanadas were good but the Tuna Tostada (GF, DF) sesame-guajillo sauce + fresno emulsion + pearl onion + crispy leek + cilantro was the most excellent For dinner we had the steak tartare along with several of the fillets. Not only were the steaks cooked to perfection. The garlic served on top of them, and the béarnaise sauce was just the icing on the cake. The sides were excellent, although the mashed potatoes were overworked and sloppy as in soupy. However, the fingerling potatoes and brussels sprouts meet us forget about the mashed potatoes. Beverages in service were outstanding. This is always one of my favorite places in Austin.

Yelp
One of the best brunch buffets in Austin! Delicious cold selections and desserts. All displayed beautifully! The selections are not plentiful but what they do have is exquisite. I enjoyed the lamb chops the most! The sushi was decent and not upscale sushi restaurant quality but it was truly nice to have it as a selection. We highly recommend this place for its outstanding service. The staff is always friendly. It's one of my favorite places to eat at for brunch! Live music available during certain weekends.

Yelp
A Sunday brunch at Ciclo at Four Seasons is always an awesome experience for special events! We came here for a friend's birthday and a post Friendsgiving celebration! The ambiance was festive, the food spread was fun, fresh and delicious! The service is always attentive and efficient. It can be a pricey brunch with $78/ person as the base & then add alcoholic drinks, taxes and tip. But, for a special event, quite worth it!

Yelp
SERVICE: 5 STARS. We had the best time at Ciclo for our fur baby's birthday. You read that right, FUR BABY'S BIRTHDAY! Our waiter, Benjamin, was THE absolute sweetest and best. He truly made our experience memorable and one we'll never forget. Benjamin was attentive to not only us, but our little guy as well. He came in with a plate of beautiful donut cookies and fresh water with ice cubes served in a stainless steel bowl, without even asking! FOOD: 3 STARS. Sadly, Ciclo doesn't have much to offer for breakfast, and everything is incredibly overpriced. I would suggest coming for the beautiful patio views and exceptional service.

Yelp
9/10 - Sweet Corn Empanadas - Bone-in Ribeye and a Lamb Chops with a side of Whipped Yukon Potatoes and Pork Belly Mac & Cheese - Watermelon Basil Margarita and a Hibiscus Gin Martini This fine dining experience is located in the Four Seasons Hotel so you would never notice it walking by. But I highly recommend you find you way here as the food is amazing. Everything we had did not disappoint and I have no complaints. Our waiter was also very lovely as well, and personally made your drinks himself. So what are you waiting for? Make your way to this lowkey spot and enjoy a good meal with some good vibes. Yelp
An Austin Must at the Four Seasons! Food: This restaurant has great food and good drinks. The food ranges but they have a little bit of everything for everyone. They have a solid lunch and great dinner. I enjoy the Poke Bowl but I loved the new Toast Del Mar for lunch. Service: We have been here several times and every time the staff has been amazing. Four Seasons sets the standard for hospitality and their Ciclo does not disappoint. We enjoyed our server, Alix, who made our lunch amazing. She was knowledgeable to the menu and made great recommendations. Ambiance: The property in general is the best in the city. At Ciclo you get to enjoy the beautiful interior or sit on the patio taking in the tree and lake views. Enjoy

Yelp
Service was amazing. All the staff were attentive. We got the tomahawk steak and the presentation by staff was both creative and informative. Food is immaculate. We sat outdoors and it's airy and ambiance is very relaxing.

Yelp
This restaurant is great. I love seafood so I ordered the Mariscos a lo Macho. Delicious. My wife had the Stone Fruit & Burrata Salad as her entree. Service was excellent and quality of the food was top notch.

Yelp
I came here on vacation with two of my friends. We sat on the patio (which was gorgeous) and ordered from their brunch menu. We ordered vanilla lattes, the ceviche, steak, and pancakes. The food was amazing!!! Our server Edwin was so nice and gave great service! One of the better servers that has waited on us in Austin! I was also pleasantly surprised by a surprise birthday desert with chocolates and a cupcake!! Edwin was awesome!

Yelp
Overall excellent cuisine. Ambiance was great as was service. The corn empanadas were excellent and had a little kick. The Baja ceviche made w stripper sea bass was amongst the best I've had anywhere. Also had the salmon which was a delight. Located in the Four Seasons Hotel.

Yelp
Ciclo is actually a restaurant in the Four Seasons which I did not know until I got there. Needless to say, it was very niceee and the impeccable service started from the moment my Uber driver arrived at the hotel. The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance. Very romantic and dark but the outside had the real view. You can see the gorgeous water. Our waitress was very professional and knowledgeable about the menu. We ended up getting a couple appetizers and they were so kind to give us an extra one on the house. We got the signature house bread(10/10), sweet corn empanadas(9/10) and the pork belly Mac n cheese(10/10). The highlight for me though was the lamb! I got medium and it came perfect. Very tender and flavorful, I would most definitely come here again just to have it!

Yelp
Food quality is amazing. Service is spectacular! I've been served by Liz a couple of times & she's amazing. Have celebrated anniversaries here & staff always makes sure to make it special! None the less, beautiful dinning area

Yelp
Came back for the a La carte dinner. Food: Salmon tostadas - mediocre; a bit bland Sea scallop aguachile - bland Mushrooms - great Carrots - decent Beets - great Wagyu tomahawk - this isn't actually wagyu and it is way over cooked Tres leches - not the traditional one; has pop rocks for no reason
google avatar

Yelp
THE BEST Tomahawk steak experience is at Ciclo! A House Signature Experience, the 45oz steak was wheeled out to our table side on a huge slab of Himalayan pink salt for a unique one of a kind presentation. We watched the chef prepare our steak with garlic & herbs, pour tequila over the top, and light it on fire. He removed the bone, sliced the steak and served it sizzling on the salt slab. Phenomenal! Melt in your mouth medium rare, by far the best steak we have ever had! Potatoes & asparagus sides paired perfectly, the Potatoes Three ways were amazing! I scraped the bowl clean! Dessert was delicious & fun, The Tres Leches was served dusted in gold with a sweet cream vile to pour over the top and a wooden mallet to crack the sugar dome! We were stuffed, thank you for an unforgettable experience Ciclo!

Yelp
Sunday brunch around 11:30am Beef tenderloin (cutting): 3 stars. Overcooked for me. Well done Crab claws and cocktail shrimp: 4.5 stars Dessert: 2 stars. Stale...sat too long. Omelette ordered: 4 stars Service: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

Yelp
This is actually an update to a previous 5 star review. We've been coming to The Four Seasons for Sunday Eggs Benedict since before they were renamed Ciclo (used to be Trio). Our last 2 visits were disappointing. The atmosphere is wonderful. The service is outstanding. The food is only a little better than mediocre. My impression is that the quality of ingredients paired with less than capable kitchen staff result in a 'lesser' end product. As others have said, there are too many other restaurants in Austin to chose from to patronize ones the aren't outstanding. We may or may not be back.
google avatar

Marc M.

Yelp
We dropped in for breakfast since their menu was better than the Jw Marriott's. It started pretty well with the hostess being super friendly and beyond professional. I decided to go with the eggs Benedict. It was mediocre at best, there is definitely way better breakfast options throughout the city. Next time I'll sacrifice convenience to make sure we have a solid breakfast. The one thing that drove me nuts was the fact the waiter dropped the check 2 minutes into us eating our meal. That's ridiculous in my book, seemed we were being rushed out. I'll most likely never come back just because of that. So thanks for rushing us through our breakfast, hopefully that isn't a regular practice.

Milla O.

Yelp
It's at Four Seasons, what d'yall expect?! Service is outstanding, food is near perfect and dessert is superb with grain-free option of amazing carrot cake. The old "you get what you paid for" is true here. Ambiance and decor are beautiful. Natural light coming in is top notch. Thanks John, for a good service.

Yelp
We had our rehearsal dinner here a couple of weeks ago and it was OUTSTANDING. My husband and I were greeted with champagne and amazing service. The food was delicious, timely and well thought out. We were a party of 20 and all of food came out together, hot and ready for us to indulge. If you go, you need to try their bread and butter with honey...to die for. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Yelp
Celebrated our 5 year anniversary at Ciclo and couldn't have been happier with our experience. John was an absolute pleasure to have as our waiter as he recommended some delicious starters, and was patience throughout our decision process. To start, my wife and I enjoyed the Baja Ceviche and Sweet corn empanadas. Although both were bursting with delicious flavor, I think we liked the sweet corn empanadas most. For the signature dishes, we decided to split the braised beef short ribs and absolutely loved it. The truffle potatoes that came with the dish were incredible. After dinner we decided to try the signature Ciclo bon bons and were mesmerized with how delicious they were. We also received a surprise desert from the wonderful pastry team that put the icing on the cake for our anniversary dinner. After chowing down on all of the delicious food we decided to enjoy the amazing ambiance around the back patio that goes down to town lake. The entire experience was better than we expected and would highly recommend to anyone who's looking to have the ultimate dinner experience to give Ciclo a try.

Yelp
Went here for breakfast a few times during our stay at Four Seasons. Friendly servers. The omelet and pancakes are a must. Pancakes are so fluffy. Kid friendly, they gave our LO some crayons to stay occupied.

Yelp
Ciclo is so close to five stars tonight! Story time in bullet points for you efficiency seekers (but I still love words). Notes on very impressive food: -Happy Hour small bites are very small and very good! Guacamole--Plain and simple with a sprinkle of cojita, which is a nice touch. Comes with a little tasty brisket on the side. Empanadas--Really good. Only two on the tiny plate, but so good I would have ordered more. Crispy Cauliflower--I don't know what the sauce is, but everyone at the table really liked it. We did order more. Prime Beef Sliders--Not sure what the chef's special sauce is, but I did not like this one. The baby burgers were still good. Truffle Fries--Wish we had tried them! -Main courses were amazing! Seared Sea Scallops--Perfectly prepared tender scallops with great flavor. Risotto was pretty good. 8 oz. Angus Filet Mignon--Seasoned really well and cooked to a juicy medium rare. One of the best filets I've had. 14 oz. Signature Prime Ribeye--Hickory smoked to perfection. Lomo Saltado--Tender pieces of steak in this interesting dish. Chocolate Pudding Cake--So good we had to order two! The house made salted caramel ice cream would have been a fantastic dessert on its own, but combining it with the molten chocolate cake, whipped cream, and cookie was perfection. I will go back for cocktails and this dessert many times! Notes on less impressive service: -Called ahead and got good information about what to expect. Made reservations just in case Happy Hour was too packed to get into the bar/patio area. When asked on the phone, mentioned celebrating a birthday. -Arrived to see plenty of open tables in the bar and on the patio, so mentioned the reservation and asked about being seated for Happy Hour. Hostess didn't seem thrilled, but found and deleted our reservation to seat us on the patio for HH. Asked if we wanted to eat dinner as well and we told her we did. It then took about 5 minutes to get seated and were only given dinner, not HH, menus. She also didn't check the notes on the reservation, so completely missed our birthday celebration. -Server took another few minutes to come over and apologized about the wait for the table. She didn't have enough water for the 4 glasses and forgot to bring more to fill the last glass until we reminded her. -She was flustered, and told us it was due to being seated too many times. She tried to make up for the inattention at times by having another server check on us, so that was a positive step. She forgot my wife's glass of wine for a good 30 minutes, but came right out with it after a reminder. -Service improved greatly after 7pm when Happy Hour ended. Live music was nice, but loud because our table was in such close proximity. The patio is beautiful, but not a lakeside table to be seen. The hotel is swanky, but you can go to Ciclo in dressy casual and be just fine. The Happy Hour small bites were a good deal, but the dinner menu is really the draw here. Oh right, and dessert!

Yelp
Excellent food menu. Great atmosphere and ambience for a great dinner. Staff was top service and excellent station to the customer

Yelp
Had an amazing dinner. The atmosphere is lovely. The service was excellent. And the food was amazing! Try the Steak Tartar - unusual and amazing. The Pork chop with chimichurri was the best pork chop I've ever had.

Yelp
I visited Ciclo for a special birthday dinner. The restaurant has a very nice patio overlooking the river- the ambiance is very laid-back (definitely not very fancy). Our waitress was very kind and helpful with figuring out which wine to pair with our meals. I ordered the green salad as well as the charred octopus, while my boyfriend ordered the rack of lamb. The rack of lamb and the octopus were both amazing! Both dishes were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. However, when it comes to the green salad, it was okay... not worth 20$ but it tasted fine.. Overall, I would recommend this location to those who want a high quality meal in a more laid-back space.
google avatar

Andreina R.

Yelp
Super slow service, mediocre cocktails, mediocre food, very limited selection which I don't mind if they excel at what they have, but they don't. Overpriced. Much better food in Austin, will not go back. The outdoor area is really nice but would not give this place another chance unless the meal was free or something. The staff was super nice but they were definitely understaffed. The tomahawk was good but everything else was average at best.
google avatar

Alia N.

Yelp
Superb service! Our server went above and beyond to offer both food recommendations and recommendations on places to visit. The ambiance was lovely- eating outside with a view of the garden and the river, you can't go wrong with that. The food was good, but I felt the sides left a little to be desired. However, I'd still recommend checking them out. Ciclo is located at the beautiful Four Seasons property and they just so happened to be celebrating Pride month. The interior of the hotel was beautiful as well.
google avatar

Sharlene S.

Yelp
This was a great dining experience. From the moment you walk in the door you are getting the Four Seasons treatment. The food was flavorful and presentation was creative. Our bartender Victoria and server Megan were both super knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant concepts. Both professional and personable and really lovely to be around. The outdoor patio(live oak lounge) and restaurant (ciclo) had such great vibes and decor. It was fancy, but you also felt at ease with the greenery of the hotel grounds. I would definitely drink and dine here again. Few favorites: Verdito cocktail, empanadas, bone in steak, Brussels sprouts.
google avatar

Karen C.

Yelp
Great happy hour! M-F 5-6:30pm I believe! See menu. They had live music, and a woman playing the piano sang beautifully outside on the patio.
google avatar

Erika N.

Yelp
Two words: happy hour! You must come here for happy hour which is from 5-7pm daily (YAY for late happy hours). Me and the bf came at 6:50 and they graciously sat us on the patio where we could hear live music and let us order off the HH menu. We ordered sooo many things (they're only $4-9 each!). I loved the pork belly taco - super juicy and tender, the salmon skewer - sooo fatty and delicious, and the empanada - the breading was awesome. I also liked the cauliflower dish which they accidentally brought to us and let us keep. $20 bottles of wine against the sunset is a steal. After it got dark, we took a walk along the lake to see the bats. Unreal!

Larry B.

Yelp
Sent for a birthday Sunday brunch, pretty expensive, good service Food was only good, tenderloin was the best on the hot buffet with the lobster Benedict second. Sushi was mediocre, good selection of cold salad and cold cuts. Dessert display was impressive but the only standout was the malomars. Many of the desserts should have been warm, pastries and cream brulee suffered. Better bang for your buck elsewhere, no views of the Lake with summer folage and too warm to sit outside .

Yelp
Great Birthday dinner with my hubby. I'll definitely be back with friends! We sat outside on the patio that looked out onto lady bird lake. It was beautiful. Great date location

Yelp
Restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel, downtown Austin: Weekday "brunch," a meal with a client. Orders: Cappuccino & regular coffee (no pics). 2 Bloody Mary's (pic of 1). Eggs Benedict (no pic). Huevos Rancheros (yes, pic). Lol: took pics "discreetly" since I was with a client! Bill: $92.xx, including 20% tip. Coffee: yay for their selections of sweeteners (included stevia packets). And a small pitcher of cream/milk/1/2&1/2 (don't know which it was). Cappuccino: nice froth. Bloody Mary's: delightful balance with a nice spice. Appreciated the celery: both of ours included celery "hearts," but my stalk was a bit wilted (75%+ crunchy). Eggs Benedict (I had a "representative" bite!): English muffin was sweeter than anticipated. No deduction, but merely FYI. It was a bit soggy/?undercooked, but perhaps it was my "bite." The orderer said she could've made this herself minus the freshly made sweet muffins. Huevos Rancheros: Good. Crispy tortilla, sunnyside-up eggs done perfectly. Chorizo: ok (loving chorizo, but being very picky about it, I was only ok with the flavor, but happy there was plenty of it!). Black beans: quality was less than average for what I'd expect for this caliber of restaurant (old/overcooked? Disappointed, but it didn't stop me from eating them). Sour cream drizzle and fresh cilantro topped this meal. Satisfying! Service was EXCELLENT. Was it worth the price? No, IMO. For those visiting from out of town, I have a list of places I'd recommend before dropping the large $ here, unless those didn't want to leave the hotel/didn't mind paying for the convenience with stellar service. Entrance/receiving us (valet parking): excellent, including doors held for us (I had to assist my client with mobility). Exit: No help - don't understand why not. Passed folks sitting in the area between the doors. As we stood gratefully by a heater, learned why they chose to remain "inside" as they awaited a cab. But alas, there was no other place to sit - happy our vehicle was fetched fairly quickly. Started as a 5-star experience. Final takeaway overall was not enough to round up to 4 stars, sorry! (just OUR experience!)

Yelp
This review is JUST for the Sunday brunch buffet - I was so excited by reading the reviews for Sunday brunch buffet, that it was the best in town, amazing even though expensive at $78... So, I brought a friend for a birthday celebration. Not only was there zero acknowledgment of the birthday (despite my note in the reservation), the actual buffet was sooo underwhelming for the price. It was very sparse.. I had some fish which was over cooked. The sushi was so stingy, the crab claws & shrimp were tiny & unfulfilling. The salad was very plain with some weird store bought tasting gloppy dressing. I couldn't really tell what I paid $78 for. It was just... sparse looking & not even made to order. Cheese kind of looked like lunchable type cheese, nothing fancy (I would have expected a nice charcuterie board at minimum...) Lukewarm French toast sitting in a tray.. I did get an omelette made to order since I was so bummed by the buffet but it came out pretty tiny & overcooked too, & I actually thought to myself while eating that I could have made better at home, & I am not a good cook at all. Everything looked not "luxe" enough; honest to God while I was eating, I actively missed my college dining hall which I thought was better (but FYI, they were rated one of the best dining halls in the country, so...). Saving grace was desserts which were actually pretty good. I apologized to my friend (although he of course insisted it was unnecessary for me to apologize) & we both agreed no worries but we wouldn't come back...

Yelp
Normally I would rate this place 4 to 5 stars. This review is based on my recent visit this weekend. We usually love dining at Ciclo. Their Sunday brunch is our favorite in Austin. We are happy to pay extra for next level service, tasty food, and a great ambience. This was my husbands first time dining there, so we were hoping it would make a good impression. We sat down and were not greeted or acknowledged for almost 15 minutes. Our cocktails came out one at a time, over the course of the following 20 minutes. Upon getting our food, which was mostly delicious, our server had not checked on us or refilled our drinks. Other servers came by with a water pitcher in hand to top up our waters, but that was the most attentive anyone had been. When asking for a side of lemons (plural) for one of the guests iced tea, the server said no problem. After waiting 5 minutes, my friend went to the seafood table and grabbed some lemons that were meant for the shrimp cocktail. The server came by finally and slammed a bowl down next to her that only had one lemon wedge and said nothing and walked away. She slammed the bowl down so hard we were all quite alarmed and had to inspect the bowl to make sure it didn't break. Needless to say, our experience was terrible, and not on par for a Four Seasons dining experience. We are disappointed. I'm not sure if they were understaffed that day, or our server was inexperienced, but the service was horrible. I want to mention that we are very pleasant, kind, and patient people. Normally we don't complain or paint businesses in a bad light, but I feel like this needs to be seen by the restaurant so they can make some improvements.

Yelp
First time here and will not come back. Once we were seated we sat there for about 10 minutes before someone came to our table and we were only offered water at this point. No menu, no discussion of food options. Sat for another 5 minutes before we noticed most people attending to the buffet so we figured maybe this was the only option for this day since it happens to be Father's Day. We both got one plate each and nothing else. We figured bill would maybe be idk 100$ tops (reasonable for a higher end brunch spot). No. Bill was 168$.... What? Absolutely ridiculous. Most of the food seemed to have been sitting out for a bit too and not very fresh. Service wasn't great. Too noisy. Very VERY disappointed.

Yelp
Let me start by saying we have been here before a couple of times for lunch and a spay day. Very very disappointed in my visit this time to The Four Seasons Hotel and spa yesterday, especially the lunch at Ciclo. First off we were there for my friends 60th bday. The only restaurant open there for lunch was this one. The menu is super limited and even more expensive than you would expect for a 5 star hotel. Especially drinks. $20 a drink! My cocktail was disappointing. The menu was super limited in options and the hamburger I got was mediocre. The Cesar salad was pretty good but nothing to write home about. Our tab for a mediocre lunch was $145 before tip. Oh and don't expect a desert menu. They had the saddest selection of desserts. Like a cookie and a brownie and a couple other things. Yawn. They did bring my friend a nicely decorated cupcake for her bday dessert. The cupcake was so freezer burned it literally was like a hard sponge. Inedible. We could have eaten at a much better restaurant like Trulucks for the same money and had much much better food and treated like royalty. I would never go back there for spa services(way overpriced and the spa lacks any extras such as a pool or hot tub). Go to JW Marriott for much better food and spa IMO. It was a high dollar day which I don't mind at all if I got top notch results. This was not it. Very disappointed.

Yelp
The place so nice we came back twice! We decided to take our dear friends visiting from Argentina to this wonderful place. We enjoyed the first time we went there so much, we had to show our friends how great this restaurant really is. This place did not disappoint! Another huge success! Morgan was there again to receive us and Joe the manager welcomed us as well! He was very catering to our every need! We were fortunate enough to have Dennis serve us and he was so pleasant to all of our guests we had at our table. El was another server so nice and I just love how all Dennis' fellow servers came around the table with such warmth and fantastic service! The food was to perfection and the drinks were spot on! Thank you everyone for another spectacular evening that we will never forget!

Yelp
This place is solid... great service and the food is good. I wasn't blown away by flavors or creativity... I think I was expecting a little more Latin but it's definitely more like a high end solid hot restaurant where you can't go wrong Cocktails are solid and patio out back is extremely nice and kid friendly. They have lots of heaters for cooler nights. Overall, it was a solid night out. They had a tuna nacho (seasonal) that was excellent. The miso cod was solid.... really can't go wrong there!

Yelp
NOT A FOUR SEASONS EXPERIENCE! We booked to have Thanksgiving dinner at Ciclo as we wanted a different experience for two. We had been to the Four Seasons a few years back for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful - last night was not! It was an expensive meal ($140 each + drinks) which we were fine with, but we expected an expensive meal with the Four Seasons experience for the price. Tables had no tablecloths or place mats, only a cloth napkin and a fork and knife. It was buffet, which we knew, but the food was not hot and nothing special for the cost... they were out of dressing on the line as we went through. It was very busy and felt chaotic - I think they overbooked and our reservation seating was about 30 minutes late. That said, our waiter was fabulous, but the food and ambiance completely spoiled our evening. We will not go back, at least on Thanksgiving....very disappointed. Outside decorations were fabulous!

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch since I was staying at the Four Seasons on business. Sit outside if it is warm enough for a view of the lake! I like scallops and tostadas but had never seen them combined on a menu. So tummy, great to share as an appetizer or have as a light meal. I needed to save room for their Smores Chocolate Taco. It is only a few bites in size but very yummy. I like how they used a thin waffle in place of a tortilla and tiny meringues, maybe in place of sour cream? The waiter explained that it was served on a taco stand simply for presentation. I guess some people not familiar with tacos have tried to eat it as is with a fork? I took it off the stand, placed it on a plate and ate it with a fork, since if eaten by the traditional taco consuming method would leave you with sticky fingers. Would order both again!

Yelp
We tried Ciclo, the main restaurant in the Four Seasons, for breakfast/brunch, and it was very good. It has all that you'd expect with a restaurant in the four seasons: solid food, excellent service, and rather expensive prices. The pancakes and huevos rancheros were both delicious, perhaps not the favorite I've ever had, but they were both very good (and pricey at about $19 per dish). The hostess was very friendly and professional, and our server was great--very helpful while also striking a great balance of leaving us alone. And the restaurant is beautiful--I love all of the remodeling that the Four Seasons has done in the past couple of years.

Yelp
Definitely try the ceviche. I love the lamb chops but you only get two. I didn't care for the rib eye. It's smoked and a bit salty. They have Texas bourbon Bon Bons for dessert. Dark chocolate magic shell and smoke. They also have profiteroles!!

Yelp
Hubs and I went here for our anniversary and were so blown away. Everything was magnificent. If I'm going to trek down from Cedar Park to the Four Seasons and use the ONE NIGHT I've worn heels this month for dinner, I have high expectations. My expectations were blown away. The staff was exceptionally well versed on the exceptionally comprehensive wine list. Every single dish was remarkable in depth and originality. It was amazing! Will go back anytime I have disposable income and really want to indulge. Kudos to the chef and staff! I only took one picture bc we were busy stuffing food in our faces, but this is a good example. The presentation is unique to each guest and each of these desserts has never been done this way before. And that's cool.

Yelp
I can't decide if I like this restaurant or its previous iteration Trio more. The food is near perfect, no matter what you get. I say near perfect because it seems like every dish has just a pinch too much salt. Not so much salt that it's offensive,But enough to take a mental note of it every time I'm having lunch here. The staff is amazing, as always. Many of the employees here have been with the company for 20 or more years. They always remember me and my family by name every time we go in there and always seem to remember exactly what was happening in everyone of our lives during the last visit and they ask us about it when they see us. Joubert is my absolute favorite waiter here and always has a smile on his face.
