Cicoria by Angela Hartnett - Review - Covent Garden - London - The Infatuation

"Cicoria is TV chef Angela Hartnett’s new Italian spot perched on the fifth floor of the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. There’s a rooftop terrace, lobster linguini, and views dramatic enough to upstage the actual opera." - Rianne Shlebak

This was definitely an experience, food was great, don't think I've ever had a mozzarella stick that big before, was a meal in itself. Main course was great also, had the lamb and was perfect, my dad had pork and was happy with it. Dessert was great too What made it special was the staff. From the hostess at the door to the wait staff were all excellent, great customer service and even had time for a quick laugh. Definitely go again

Had a birthday lunch at Cicoria and loved it. Five star food in a stunning setting with fabulous staff. Had divine cocktails to start (martini made to order and a delicious daiquiri), over ordered a range of starters and mains but it was so good to taste a variety of dishes from the mouthwatering pork to the insanely good lobster linguine. Our 6 year old (who barely eats) ate an entire bowl of pasta and LOVED every mouthful. The service team were so lovely. Warm and kind, super helpful and great at wine recommendations. And. We saw Angela Hartnett MBE, OBE. So it’s was very very cool. Overall a fabulous afternoon at the Royal Opera House. We left full of hearty, delicious food and good vibes!!

A great new restaurant that's really welcoming and has a great atmosphere, only enhanced by the Opera goers coming and going beyond the curtains. The food was amazing, with our highlights being the seabass with lentils and the lemon tart. The staff were all really friendly, professional and happy, which made a huge difference to our experience.

An incredible new opening from Angela Hartnett. Delicious, beautifully crafted dishes paired with warm, easy service. A memorable experience that feels perfectly at home in such a wonderful setting!

Lovely place to sit for a drink, but currently that’s all you can get (not even tea or coffee) and the bar staff make no effort to inform you of that even when they give you a menu that includes food etc. Apparently this is a “soft opening” so hopefully they improve service by the time they are fully up and running.
