Located in a light industrial park, West Dallas, Texas, plenty of parking on a Sunday.
Speaking of Sunday, which is a Family Day, this smallest of the Cidercades looked like a schoolyard playground. No kids after 8PM, but until then, hundreds of youngsters.
This is nice facility, if a bit claustrophobic...
Many great classic cabinet video games, even collector items. But games are packed tight like sardines in a tin can.
No stoolseats for players. You must stand your ground! I'm twice as tall now, than when I first got hooked on Donkey Kong, so this was a backbreaker.
Another section with tables is meant for parties, this has more breathing room, with nice big screen tv's up high, NFL playoff game was showing.
This section has bigger games, two Guitar Hero games, a Dance Maxx like DDR, and big shooter games.
Then, also a patio section, with shade roof, has tables also. This is outside of the arcade games area, so it is quiet(er).
Single adult might want to wait until 8PM, before attending. Or play pinball games in the massive pinball alley.
Not to complain too much, but the cabinet video games needed some repairs, and tuning of the screen display.
The controller was off a bit for Down & Left move.
The plastic know on Qbert controller came off! Donkey Kong Jr controller was wanky, the game requires precise moves at precise moments.
Pinball Alley here is massive, but no Stranger Things game. An archaic Soccer pinball game with mechanical features was interesting to play!
Foodtruck outside in front supplies the eats.
Cider Bar for adults with ID inside the entrance. A vending machine alley (cards only) has non-alcohol canned & bottled drinks, and light snacks.
Timing is everything with Cidercade, the party section looks great for kid's parties (with their adults in attendance)
