Google
The food here is amazing--I never skip the tacos al pastor, but I'd say my order is slightly wrong maybe ...40% of the time. It's fine, I can certainly pick off raw onions by myself, but I would like it better if I didn't have to! My wife gets the birria tacos, and we both love the tamales. This food truck being here enriches our area, and this is some of the best Mexican food in the valley.

Google
I'll be totally honest with you. Went because of the reviews and were hopeful. Got the birria tacos and the carne asada quesedilla. It was not good!!... the Carne Asada was flavorless, and it had sooo much cheese & grease. It was NOT worth $15. The birria portion was not good, flavor wasn't there within the taco itself, also $15+ bucks. The only good thing was the consume paid extra for. No matter how much dipping in that however made it worth finishing. Wasted over $35 on this place, and tipped too. We threw it all out down the road. I HATE wasting food. I can recommend great places for this type of food but it's a distance away. If you like a plain type of food, low quality ingredients and lots of cheese... go for it. Will not be going again.

Google
Great birria tacos and delicious horchata. Every time that I come this way, I make sure to get some tacos and every time, they don’t disappoint.

Google
This is a local staple. It's almost a hidden gem if it wasn't right off of RT 2. The service here was awesome with the amazing staff they have. There is plenty of outdoor seating which was nice and clean. There is plenty of parking in front of the trailer off the road. Now the food:. It was delicious! I had a house special burrito and my girlfriend had a steak burrito and we made short work of these decently sized burritos. I am looking forward to going back again soon! The sign is funny in a good way with seemingly ketchup and mustard bottles on it!

Google
The food was alright. I liked the Pastor better. The tortillas as handmade so it’s a plus, it just needs a little more meat on the taco. The pupusas were more Masa flour than filling. We also ordered a burrito and it was more rice and beans than meat. It all has good flavor, it’s just for the price you expect a little more meat than tortilla or rice.

Google
So delicious and looks amazing. Al pastor tacos are really impressive and the jalapeno cheese tamales were very good too. I felt like I was eating high tier restaurant food while chilling in the shade on a picnic table. I will go out of my way to eat here again. ¡Excelente!

Google
Super delicious and authentic. Birria, pupusas and sopes were all fantastic. Prompt service and a nice little spot with picnic tables to stop for a quick bite.

Google
Stopped on our way through town & would definitely recommend. The chicken burrito was huge & very good. If you like creamy guac, it was good with the chips. The plain churros were crispy on the outside & soft on the inside; very good dipped in the caramel sauce. Also got mango & strawberry jarritos (soda) which were refreshing & tasty. There's an outside seating area under a tent.

Yelp
Food was really excellent. We got one of each kind of tamale, and liked the mole Chicken and vegetable tamales best. Plantains were cooked to perfection, caramelized and crispy with crema and cheese. We didn't order refried beans but got a side of them and they are so good, savory and fragrant. It was about a 10 minute wait for the food. We ate at the picnic tables nearby but all the food is packaged to go. We will be back!

Yelp
Service was terrible. Got the order wrong, not once but twice. Workers questioned and confronted us. If I could give a 0*, I would. Food was very bland and employees were misunderstanding. If I'm being honest, the best part of coming here was leaving disappointed. Came here looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, and came out having wasted an hour of the last day in the area.

Yelp
It's all about the food - delicious plántanos, yummy pupusas and fantastic chicken tamales. Everything we have tried here is consistently good. Service is a little slow but expected when everything is being made fresh for you. Also we can always count on them being open in the evenings when heading back to Boston.

Yelp
Fantastic carne asada tacos with the fixins I wanted. Their tamales were also delicious. As a Californian transplat, I've had my share of good Mexican food and Cielito Lindo is right up there. It's my go-to for quick and yummy dinners.

Yelp
Used to be good. Now it's kind of gross. The window staff doesn't even say hello, just said "what do you want" after waiting at the window for 5 min. They act like you're bothering them. Portions are smaller but the owners got a sweet BMW parked there. Quality is gone way down over the years. Food took 30 min and the guy basically tossed it out the window to me. Wont waste my money here again and neither should you. Update after finally getting the food. Chicken tasted 2 days old as did the pork. There was more radish then actual meat. Don't spend your money here.

Yelp
I'm from California (grew up eating fantastic Mexican food) and was impressed by this place. Great mole tamales wrapped in banana leaves, tasty burritos, and delicious salsas. Thanks for dinner, Cielito Lindo!

Yelp
As a southerner, I already have a high expectations when it comes to Mexican food and in general it just wasn't tacoing. The chicken was dry, the steak was dry, shid the shrimp..... it smelt great but not much taste to the taco. You had to use the lime and the sauce to make it taste a little better. The tamale, was okay. The chicken did have flavor to it but it was small. It wasn't worth the $5. Yo mix and match the tacos , it was also expensive. About $22 for 3 tacos, but If you do one of the same it is $17. We waited outside for our food which was alright. But yeah, never going back again. But thanks.

Stacy J.

Yelp
Very expensive for not being in a large metro or for the lack of quality or quantity of the food. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Best pupusas in the area. My step dad is Salvadoran and I grew up eating pupusas all the time. I've been waiting to find comparable pupusas in the area since I moved up to western MA, and I highly recommend these! My other favorite place to get them in the area is El Comalito in Amherst, in case that gives you an idea of the quality. I also love that you can order online and they apparently deliver, but I've never tried that. Now, if only they sold fried yuca I'd be in heaven!

John L.

Yelp
Tacos are actually pretty good - but the portions are so small that this food truck is actually a bit on the expensive side. $45.00 for 9 pretty small tacos and no sides.

Yelp
I recently relocated from southern California to western Massachusetts and though I love it here I've been really missing the rich variety of Mexican food I had access to back home. Some of the other local restaurants that are ostensibly Mexican in style are pretty far from it. Not necessarily bad food, just not very Mexican in my experience. That's why I'm so glad that this little place exists. I needed a legit carne asada burrito on a cold day and El Cielito Lindo definitely came through. Could they compete against the tens of thousands of similar restaurants across Los Angeles? Maybe. Do they blow away the rest of the local competition. Absolutely. I'll be back soon to buy a whole bunch of Christmas tamales.

Yelp
First time: tried the chicken tacos-tasty chicken, but a bit dry...was good for the car b/c no drips. Tamales were awesome-comfort food. The quesadilla was very cheesy-authentic. I've lived in So Cal... and this place is equal to the roadside taco stands I'd visit on the byways from Tijuana to Sacramento

Yelp
Great shrimp burritos with a tortilla that you can tell is homemade, loaded with fresh ingredients. Good sized shrimp, and a really packed tasty burrito. The chicken burrito is great as well. I'm going to have to come back to try some of their other dishes, they have fair prices. Really good for a food truck place with only outdoor picnic tables for seating. They also have a good selection of mexican dishes such as tacos, empanadas, quesadillas. Worth the stop if you are looking for authentic Mexican from a small family business.

Lara S.

Yelp
Cielito Lindo takes me back to when I lived in California many decades ago. It only took the first bite into the tortilla, or maybe it was before when I opened the container and the smell hit my nostrils. Good, authentic, taco truck tacos are hard to come by in Western Mass but this place has got 'em. I should sample more of the menu but the shrimp tacos call to me every time. An unexpected roadside gem!

Yelp
Driving home from skiing we were ready for an early dinner, and glad we pulled over when we saw the brightly colored stand on the side of the road! My husband loves his tamale, my enchiladas de mole was generous and really good. My kids had quesadillas. One didn't like his, but only because it was made with cojita (his preference, the rest of us tried it and loved it).

Kyla P.

Yelp
BEST birria tacos ever!!! And churros are really good too. Such a good little yummy spot!

Richard H.

Yelp
Love the food here. Fresh and authentic. We're lucky to have this establishment in our area.

Yelp
Service was not friendly, tacos were a spoon full of dried out beef and a few raw onions sprinkled with cilantro. Salsa was ok, but not much flavor. Cheese quesadilla was good but pricey for what it was. Tables were uneven and not very clean. They need to mow the lawn. I would not recommend this place

Yelp
Mexican taste not! Carne asada burrito is not beef stew ! I miss the real So Cal Mexican food! This not even close to real Mexican food! And the young girl at the counter was rude! Got 4 meals and they gave me only 1 salsa! When I asked for more salsa she was trying to charge me 50cents with a attitude! I guess people in the village go crazy for this gut truck because it's the only so called Mexican food in town

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful food at this takeout spot right along Route 2. There are some tables outdoors but it's getting too cold for that so I ate half my veggie quesadilla in their parking lot. It was light, savory, and the tortilla browned just the right amount. I was thinking please tell me this is not so authentically Mexican that it was cooked in lard, because I am a vegetarian and it is so good. I decided go follow the don't ask don't tell policy. A little ways down the road I pulled over and ate half of what was left. Then another 20 minutes down the road I knew I should get home but it kept calling me so I ate the rest while driving and dripped grease on my pants but it was so good I couldn't wait to get home. Delicioso!

Thomas R.

Yelp
The burritos are delicious, as are the tamales and quesadillas. Today they had a special strawberry lemonade that is delicious as hell. My favorite lunch spot in Turners/Greenfield!

Kanman W.

Yelp
Was a very nice place to stop for lunch. I got the carinatas tacos and would not recommend them. There was lots of fatty bites or even entire chunks of fat. However the churros and the Beira Quesodillas were delicious. I don't think I spelled that right but they look like tacos and have a soup to dip them in. The seating is next to the highway so not the most scenic view.

Nancy G.

Yelp
So good. Just go. Fair prices. Home cooked authentic Mexican food with the family's flare. Everything we have tried is tasty and fresh.

Brian H.

Yelp
This little food truck just on the Gil side of the Turners Falls-Gill Bridge, is simply spectacular. The menu is far more interesting then your basic taqueria, of which there are a couple not too far, and the food's not even close. The menu includes empanadas, tamales, papusas, chorizo, shrimp. Everything is so fresh, from the queso to the slaw with which you're meant to dress your pupusa (no goopy mayo here). They have probably every flavor Jarritos ever imagined, plus Mexican Coca Cola (cane sugar, not high fructose corn syrup) and sparkling mineral water. These folks, first and second generation Mexican Americans, are super friendly, and kept it going during a New England winter during a pandemic, so that alone should prompt you to give this place a try. The matriarch makes molé ... molé for goodness sake! From a food truck in Gill, MA. Come on! There's a nice area with six picnic tables, the scenic river is right behind it, and it's right across the bridge from lovely Unity Park where you can chillax after a meal. Whether you're local, or just passing through on your way to the Berkshires or Boston, do yourself a favor and plan on being around here hungry at lunchtime. You wont regret it.

Kate S.

Yelp
We recently tried Cielito Lindo and were super pleased with everything we had. Greenfield-area friends been raving about it, so I was happy to finally try it. The steak burritos were great (and lasted a couple meals), and the enchiladas de mole were perfection. Service was quick and prices are very reasonable for the amount of food we received. The location is convenient, and it's nice to see someone do something positive with that spot after it sitting vacant for a while. There are some picnic tables in the lot, but it was too cold so we just took it home. It will be nice when it's warmer in the spring, but take-home works well during Covid anyway. We're so excited to have some authentic Mexican in the area, and we're looking forward to sampling some more menu items in the new year.

Marty G.

Yelp
The best Mexican food in the valley, and definitely in the greenfield area. I lived in Mexico and California,I'm half Mexican and grew up with the real stuff, and this place delivers just that. Great tacos al pastor, enchiladas, authentic tamales, for the gringos the burritos are big and stuffed with good stuff. My son loves the carne asada burrito,he'd eat one every day if he could. Try the horchata on a hot summer day, and look for specials on the board. Very affordable too. It can get busy in the summer and around lunchtime so you might want to order ahead if you're in a hurry.

Gina F.

Yelp
Randomly found this gem on our way home from skiing. Damn was it tasty - the only downside is that it's two hours from out house! Stop in, you won't be disappointed. Authentic, fresh, and delicious!

Pamela A.

Yelp
Authentic Mexican and Salvadoran food truck. The people who work there are friendly and the food is good. What I especially like is how cheerful they've made the outdoor seating area, nicely decorated and with music. All in all, a pleasant and tasty experience.

Savannah M.

Yelp
Fun roadside treat. Food was fast and made to order. Delicious fish tacos! Even came with a fresh wedge of lime! The chicken burrito was really good too, and generously portioned. They had delicious jarritos (highly recommend pineapple or mango flavored). The guacamole didn't quite seem homemade and was small. Otherwise, would've given 5 stars.

Sarah W.

Yelp
Been here several times since it opened. It's the only authentic Mexican food in the area (that I know of). The tacos come with cilantro, onions and a side of salsa and lime, just like they should. I recommend the al pastor and carne asada. I also recommend the tamales in particular the chicken with mole, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

A. F.

Yelp
honestly, maybe the best mexican food i've ever had. incredibly tamales, terrific papusas, delicious plantains. would stop by again any time.
