18 Perfect Phoenix Restaurant Patios for Dining Alfresco

"An evening on the patio at Cielo offers the opportunity to commune with the sky and watch the sunset near the McDowell Mountains. The patio sits 2,500 feet above sea level and the vantage point offers a serious connection with nature. Chef Chris Kight, who sources local ingredients, has recently refreshed the menus, offering everything from popcorn shrimp tacos at brunch to A5 wagyu tartare and 24-hour braised short ribs at dinner. If sweet potato cheesecake and vegan panna cotta aren’t exciting enough, consider Cielo’s desserts by the glass, including jalapeño shortcake and the Dude Abides." - Mcconnell Quinn, Nikki Buchanan, jamiekillin, Rudri Patel

Went to brunch with a chef friend of mine. Had the avocado toast, bison burger, and the poached eggs. Also enjoyed the Bloody Mary bar where I got to make my own concoction. Beautiful views, beautiful and delicious food, and a great time catching up with a very good friend. Highly recommend

Google
Wondrous restaurant “CIELO” with incredible views located within the resort known as “Adero”. Located just outside of Fountain Hills & Scottsdale with an amazing restaurant. Highly recommend to anyone visiting for a trip in AZ or if you happen to be in the area looking for a well priced high quality meal with great service. *Not 100% certain; however I believe that the dinning hours are the following… • Breakfast: 7A.M.–11A.M. •Lunch: 11A.M.–2P.M. •Bar remains open with a bar menu remaining available between lunch & dinner service from 2P.M.—5P.M. •Dinner: 5P.M.–10P.M.

The service was absolutely horrible. Asked for three well done filet mignon and was served two filets and a rib eye yet the manager disputes it to state all steak were filets. Mistake made and no problem until I am told I am mistaken. Then the chef came to confirm it was a rib eye. Manager never came back to apologize. See the photo.

How anyone could give this place less than five stars is beyond me! Our server was polite and attentive, the food was outstanding, and The view was exquisite!

Although I was staying in town for an event at the Valley Ho, dining at Cielo was one of the highlights of my trip to Scottsdale! I booked a table for breakfast the morning of my wedding anniversary, and from beginning to end, the staff made my husband and I feel totally taken care of. Not realizing the intensity of the Arizona sun, I'd mistakenly requested an outdoor table. The hostess explained how we would be squinting at each other the entire meal, and that she'd reserved a lovely spot inside, right next to the window so we could still enjoy the view. It was absolutely the right call. The food was outstanding (I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich!), and the service from the wait staff was impeccable. Director of Rooms Kevin Holtzman stopped by to introduce himself and see if there was anything we needed, and then later, a lovely dessert and sparkling wine appeared with a hand-written note! Honestly, this is some of the best service I've ever received in a restaurant, ever. On the way out we noticed a sign for star parties, and that, coupled with the lovely ambiance of the hotel and the superior service, made my husband and I say to each other: we're definitely coming back to Scottsdale, and we're definitely staying at the ADERO resort next time.

Google
Great location. Service staff was great. Ordered the burrata, wings, and steak frites. Burrata was excellent. Wings were OK. Steak was pretty bad (and wasn't cheap). Cut of meat was not good. Was over cooked and the fries were not great either. Cold and soggy. On top of that, I think that dish was nearly $60. Might go back for a glass of wine but probably wouldn't eat there again.

Google
The location of this restaurant is stunning with the view of the McDowell mountains. You can sit inside or outside which is wonderful. Our room came with continental breakfast however, on the first day it was pretty pitiful. I don’t know if they ran out of yogurt or what but it was barely, a spoonful of yogurt on the bottom of my glass with a granola and a limited selection for pastry. My husbands eggs Benedict were more like hard-boiled eggs. When we said something to the server about it, he just shrugged us off and we werel still charged for it. However, that being said the next couple days, it was much better. We did go to Cielo for dinner one night, it was lovely and the food was very good. so I do recommend it as it’s lovely dining outside. I wish there was more than just this restaurant to choose from at the resort, but it is what it is.

Google
Got there to celebrate a big birthday. They couldn’t seem to find our reservation. Finally got seated with a minimal view even though we reserved in advance. Photo copied menus. Items available seemed different than what we saw on website. Limited menu. Pressured to order while trying to enjoy drinks. Shrimp and grits were crunchy because grits were undercooked. Short ribs were dry. Steaks were done incorrectly for two of the 4 people. Birthday dessert was nice but failed to take dessert orders for others at table. Finally ordered dessert. After a 20 minute wait we got our bill but had not received any desert. At that point we just wanted out. Had them take dessert off bill and left. Needless to say not any where near the dining experience we were expecting 👎

Yelp
I went for lunch and the view is fantastic! There are floor to ceiling windows with a view of the drop from the mountains and you can see the city below. Just gorgeous! I thought I ordered a barbeque sandwich but it was a burger. It was pretty decent. After a while they all get to be the same. I got a side salad with it, and it came with chopped piqueno peppers, tomatoes and house vinaigrette with sesame seeds. Things here typically run about $25 and up and it's rather fancy. When I walked in, there was only 1 table of guests. They did check in on me once or twice. I probably spent 45 minutes here.

Yelp
Had breakfast, lunch & dinner at this fantastic farm-to-table restaurant. Sitting on their patio that showcases the iconic vistas, being able to see McDowell Mountains & Four Peaks by day, shining stars everywhere at night. Everything indulged was deliciously satisfying. From their Chilean Sea Bass, 24 hr Braised Short Rib off of their dinner menu. Waking up to their Classic Breakfast & Brunch Burger for lunch. It was so amazing to experience everything eaten was nothing short of tasty. Sean, server of the evening, did a great job. Ambiance, very casual & the normal restaurant talk but not intrusive to your dining experience. I hope that I am able to return & replicate the same wonderful time had!

Yelp
The food itself is very good, but the service deserves a zero star rating. 45 minutes for a glass of wine? The staff seems confused and undertrained. There's only 4 couples in the whole restaurant and they still couldn't get it together. Even if you're staying in this hotel, I recommend eating elsewhere.

Yelp
Dined at Cielo during a stay at Adero as we wanted to stay on property (and use our drink coupons). The bartender was extremely friendly albeit very very busy as the bar was slammed. The restaurant was packed without a reservation and would have been a long wait had we not sat at a table in the bar area. We had the option to dine outside under the night sky, but it was a bit chilly for that so we stayed inside. I was able to get a mocktail Aperol Spritz (my favorite), and my friend a real one. The drink way surpassed my expectations! The food was decent, we ordered the black bean hummus platter and the vegetables came squishy and old. They were kind enough to comp the platter and bring extra pita bread, and the hummus was still good! Otherwise, we ordered the Mushroom Risotto and Short Rib which were both good. The risotto was much cheesier than expected and was a huge plate! Definitely worth the price. Overall, great bar to grab a drink and good food when staying on property.

Yelp
We came to Cielo to celebrate my 30th birthday + to have dinner with a view. We had asked to be seated outside to enjoy the view more + are so thankful for the heaters when the sun went down. Our server was absolutely phenomenal--she was attentive, friendly, brought us multiple wine recommendations to accompany our dinner, and ensured we had the freshest baked bread + salted whipped butter I've ever tasted. I could have filled up on the bread + butter alone. The Saturday + Sunday special for 2 was what we decided on for dinner & we had enough for leftovers for ourselves as well! We chose the honey glazed carrots, asparagus, and French butter mashed potatoes. I had to stop myself from over indulging because every single part of the meal was divine. It was truly so rich and full of flavor. To top it off, I had the salted caramel bread pudding with vanilla gelato. I am usually a big fan of bread pudding, but this bread pudding was out of this world. It was still crisp yet soft and full of flavor. The vanilla gelato was the perfect addition. We had such an amazing dinner + evening--it was a memorable meal for a memorable trip! We cannot recommend Cielo enough.

Yelp
This is a quality restaurant and it approaches five stars, but of course that would be reserved for the top top places. The food is excellent quality and well prepared with a good selection, but not a massive menu. Fast and friendly service with a good wine selection. We have eaten here several times and everything was delicious. Incredible views.

Yelp
some of the best food we've ever had!! the dinner is a little pricey but the breakfast was more affordable ($20ish) a meal and it was worth the money. the display was beautiful and the food was even better. i meant to take a picture of it but i forgot so here's a pic of my husband and his clean plate since he ate every last bite.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came in for our anniversary last weekend and felt very welcomed by our server Katie! She gave great recommendations starting with wine, all the way through dessert. The braised short rib and Brussel sprouts were amazing! Our night felt very special. The food was delicious and the service was more then worth coming back for!
google avatar

Stephany B.

Yelp
Sea bass was great. Very expensive for what you get but you're paying for the best view in Arizona
google avatar

Willow B.

Yelp
Perhaps the saddest Caesar salad I've ever had. 74 dollars for 2 salads, chicken and fries. They barely put romaine lettuce in our bowls. Most expensive romaine ever.

Yelp
This is a fantastic restaurant with stunning views of the valley. Great service and excellent food. Simple menu with something for everyone. I would love to come back and try their lunch and dinner someday!

Yelp
One of our favorite relatively upscale restaurants attached to Adero Resort set on a hill overlooking Fountain Hills. Great ambiance inside or outside. The service is always excellent and very attentive with a team like approach. The food portions are adequate and the quality was good. My wife loved the preparation of her salmon with her salad. I thought my short rib roast was a tad bit dry, but the gravy with cheese grits complemented it nicely. The house red wine also helped.

Yelp
Stayed here and decided to have brunch downstairs, everything was good until our middle age waiter name Rick with an awkward vibe, no eye contact, talking fast with attitude came over and asked if I was in the ET movie! Then laughed!! I'm an African American woman with big hair so I think he was saying I was ET! Not sure where that came from or why he would say that? Less talking and less attitude would be better! We will never return!

Yelp
The restaurant itself is beautiful, we were fortunate enough to sit outside and enjoy the sunset. The food was delicious, we had the half chicken, salmon and brisket burger. What was the best part of our experience was hands down the service provided by HTET. He was very attentive and validated our feelings about the dining experience. A simple calling us by our name did not go unnoticed. His service alone is enough to come back.

Yelp
What great little find...great views, great decor, great food for lunch & FIRST CLASS service with a smile. The views itself will take your breath away.Great place to take clients, a date or to grab a bite alone. The Cielo is located in a nice hotel, The Adero. There's plenty of parking or valet parking & the staff is friendly, helpful, kind & always smiling. My salmon salad was delicious.I AM looking forward to lunch again at the Cielo to definitely try some other dishes on there menu. Their menu is simple & good healthy eating. Cielo also has a full bar if you'd like a fancy drink, beer or a glass of wine. Prices were reasonable for lunch. Did I mention I can't wait to have lunch there again :) Or maybe dinner. The address says Scottsdale but it's actually in Fountain Hills Az, which has beautiful views.

Yelp
I was there for business dinners 2 nights in a row. This high end restaurant is located in the Marriott ADERO Autograph Collection Scottsdale hotel. On the first night, I had the salmon dinner along with Caesar Salad with anchovies. It was one of the best salads ever. They provided more anchovies than I could have imagined. The service was a bit slow as it took over 2 hrs from start to finish. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Not too pricey compared to other items on the menu. You can order the Tomahawk for 2 special at $195 which is pretty much all inclusive of appetizer and dessert. On the second night, we had much better service. Lets just say the first night was 3.5 stars and second night was 5 stars. They have seating indoors as well as outdoors and we chose inside based on the weather. For my second night, I ordered the white wine pear salad. I highly recommend that as well. The Chilean Sea Bass was quite pricey as is most of the food and drinks. At $52 per plate, they do provide a very large portion. It was probably the best fish I ever had. Moist, tender and very flavorful. The drinks are good, but not great. I had a Bombay Sapphire martini which was $19 and probably had 1 shot of gin in it. No blue cheese olives either. The Cielo Pork Belly Brussels for $17 were definitely plentiful and delicious. A Piggy Back Old Fashioned was even more pricey at $22 per cocktail. You can pay for valet parking or if you don't mind the uphill walk, park with the hotel patrons for no cost. With drinks, apps and dinner for 4, cost was over $400. We fortunately got the chocolate lava cake on them since it had no lava. This is a great restaurant if you want to show off to a customer or friends/family.

Yelp
Five stars for the view. Three stars for the walk up the hill if you decide to park your own car. Three stars for the food selection available for lunch and for our server. We had to flag down two other servers during our lunch to get a refill and and extra plate. The tacos were good, the burger was undercooked. Fries were okay and, as mentioned, there are not a ton of choices for lunch, so you may not find something you really want. I am sure they have a bigger menu for dinner so that might be the best time to go. They also have telescopes in the lobby so you can star gaze at night. I tried to use one to look at the valley but I guess my telescope skills have fallen off since I last used one in grade school. It's a nice drive up to the resort, valet parking and self parking is available. It's right inside the front door so easy to get to. Has indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating area has a sliding glass wall that can be opened for very nice, non-windy, mild temperature days. We did enjoy our time there, just not the lunch. Hope you find something you will like and...enjoy!!!

Yelp
A local Fountain Hills resident, I'd heard very mixed reviews about Cielo for several years and had also had bad experiences there years back. I decided to give them another try once again based on the Cielo website which advertised a happy hour featuring $10 burger and fries. Upon arrival, my pal and I sat down in the bar area and enjoyed the lovely view. No one greeted us or took our orders so we went to the bar and I said to the bartender that we were there for the $10 burger and fries happy hour special promoted on the website. She looked at me totally stunned and responded that they hadn't offered that in a very long time. I politely explained that it shouldn't have been up on their website if it wouldn't be honored, and she basically shrugged. As I did not feel like arguing, we went ahead and ordered a very costly martini and glass of wine at the bar and brought it to our table, as there was no server in sight. No one ever came to our table to check on us and by then the bar was filling up with hotel guests waiting for their drinks. Considering the exorbitant prices, total lack of service and false advertising on the website, we weren't feeling the love and left feeling very disappointed at best.

Yelp
Our experience was fabulous for food and view. I believe all was overpriced. Joey was a fantastic. We ordered fish, lamb, short rib and a filet, all cooked perfect. Tried the green chili corn chowder, a lot of corn, no green chilies, I make much better! I WOULD RECOMMEND
google avatar

Darya S.

Yelp
Environment: outstanding and pretty. You could dress up to sit on the outdoor patio or keep it casual, like a lot of hotel patrons did. Service: kind and professional. Food: elevated American food. I got the burger and my baby got the chicken fingers. The burger was a standard one that you get at a sports bar. Hit the spot, but I'm not sure it was worth the price. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, unless you're really set on checking out the view. I think this review would have been four stars had I not gotten dessert. I ordered the coffee gelato and it was so bad that I could not even finish it. It tasted like a vegan knockoff brand that you'd get at a gas station. I took a few bites and I just stopped. I'm surprised they are serving such poor quality dessert at such a nice place.

Samantha S.

Yelp
Wonderful meal. The Brussels sprouts app was to die for!!! Salmon was cooked perfectly
google avatar

Jenna D.

Yelp
So. This is why I need a half star - it's a solid 2.5 stars. It's got a great outdoor patio and the view is incredible. Parking is fine, and the drinks were good. The food was pretty hit or miss, and service was just okay. We came here for lunch after a hike, and we were hungry, and maybe hoping for more than we got. We got a few apps, and while the flatbread was okay, we also got chips, guac, and queso. They left much to be desired. My dining companions were more colorful than I, but they had some pretty apt descriptions. The queso was of "throwey uppey" consistency, it was like "grocery store guac" in taste and consistency, and the chips were "restaurant style bagged chips that you could buy at the grocery store." Overall, not impressive. However, our entrees fared better: I had the adult grilled cheese, add chicken, which ended up being a worthwhile addition. The Ahi wedge salad had a solid fish, but the salad part was nothing special. The burgers were good, but the fries were just okay. The service was fine but the kitchen was a hot mess - all our food came out at separate times. The chicken sandwiches were so late, most of us were done eating before they got their food. We also ordered a separate order of fries that never came, which turned out to be a blessing since they weren't all that great anyway. We went there for the views, and it was worth that. However, for food, I know there are better places in the area.

Yelp
View and ambiance is beautiful. Food is fine (albeit the menu is a bit limited for dinner) but service is painfully slow. We stayed on property and ate at CIELO for breakfast, lunch (at the bar), and dinner at one point during our stay. Servers were nice but just so slow. The ability to see the Fountain Hills fountain from the restaurant is nice.
google avatar

Lindsey J.

Yelp
Not sure why this play is rated 3 stars. Service was impeccable, food was amazing and the views are lovely. Honestly felt like a great value for a luxury dining experience.

Ellen E.

Yelp
Could have and should have been better. We just had a party of 8 eat dinner at Cielo. We expected excellent service and food, and received neither. The waitress was indifferent to us about what to order. When asked about the steak, was it good? Recommended? She said she thinks so. The most expensive item on the menu. What else does she recommend? Not much, sea bass for fish, not the salmon. The menu was very limited. I couldn't find anything that I was interested in eating and it was expensive. I ordered a salad with chicken. The salad had little taste, the chicken was good, not warmed at all. When it was delivered I immediately asked for more dressing. It NEVER came. After paying the bill I said, I never received my dressing. Her answer was "do you want some dressing to go?". Seriously? Snarky response after paying $40 for greens, bad tomatos, onions, olives and chicken. That's because 20% was automatically charged because of the size of the group. We ordered a second bread because it took so long for our food. She charged us. One person ordered a salad with NO ONIONS. It came with onions. The waitress actually came over to show how she ordered it from the kitchen and said, "see it's not my fault.". I am not sure I have ever ever ever seen that kind of behavior from a server. One person had a lemon drop martini, the glass was cracked. She told our waitress who offered to get a new glass. The person said forget it. Our waitress should have immediately taken the glass to throw away and given a new drink. One person ordered GF bread. It was toast and it only took 45 minutes to get delivered and it was cold. Maybe she was having a bad day. I would never recommend coming to this place. The service was poor and the food mediocre. We felt ignored and she could have cared less about providing excellent service. What a waste of time and money.

Lucas M.

Yelp
Ambiance was great bit it was a little overpriced. The only reason Im giving this a five star is because we had help from a food runner, Shay, the whole time when it was super busy.

Eva P.

Yelp
Our server Nate was, by far, one of the BEST we've had! His hustle and order accuracy was beyond exceptional. We had a few dietary requests. Although it was busy, he made a point to check in with us and make sure we had everything we needed. We'll be back to Cielo!
google avatar

Sylvia C.

Yelp
My Smart Set sisters and I had a girls night out at this swanky place! The views are amazing but the food was a bit bland to me! I had the Charred Corn Chowder topp d with bacon. It was pretty good but it needed salt and pepper! I had the Chilean Sea Bass for my entree and it was in desperate need of salt and pepper. I also thought a green veggie would have been nice because it was served with creamed corn (And I really think the creamed corn was actually the charred corn chowder minus the bacon!) and polenta. For desert I ordered the Bread Pudding. It arrived ice cold! Really? Everyone knows bread pudding is served warm or, at best, room temperature, right? That was really disappointing! Tina was our server and she was great! We all enjoyed the cocktails! They were excellent along with the view. However, I thought the food was lackluster...especially for $145.00! I would go back for the cocktails and views, but not for the food!

Yelp
We went to CIELO for lunch after a nice team hike. The views here are impeccable! We were seated outside and the employees kindly brought over an umbrella for our party due to the AZ sun. Service was great all around. We were a party of 8 so I won't get into specifics on each dish. Our appetizers were good but the cheese fondue wasn't as cheesy as it should've been. I ordered tacos and they were tiny but packed with flavor to my surprise. Everyone enjoyed their meal but we all agreed that you come here for the views and not necessarily for an extraordinary culinary experience.

Lori B.

Yelp
Beautiful views but too expensive. Service is average. Food is average. Nothing special except the views. I'd suggest a drink here at sunset!
google avatar

Melly T.

Yelp
We were apprehensive to try this place because of the bad reviews. Unfortunately, I have to agree with masses- 3 stars accurately reflect the food at this place. They have great views but not food. Our server, Tina, was super friendly. She dropped off a basket of warm sour dough bread which was delightful but it only came with 3 slices? We then overheard that they ran out if bread. It's Friday night at 7pm, how could have they ran out of bread already? That sounded like poor planning to me. Here's what we ordered: Wild Mushroom Arancini - came with 4pcs. Couldn't taste or find any mushroom. It was very bland so you really have to eat it with the Arrabiata sauce which was good. Filet - it was $53 and came with small serving of mashed potato on the plate. We ordered it medium rare and it came medium well. As for taste, blah. The mashed potato and carrots were better than the steak itself. I mean you better get your steak on point when you are charging steak house prices! Grilled Octopus - this was probably the only decent dish we had. It was very tender, cooked well and season perfectly. Dulche Cake - beautifully presented but way too sweet even for someone like me who has a sweet tooth. Overall, it was an underwhelming culinary experience. There are way too many good restaurants, especially at $53 price point for filet, for us to come back here.

Yelp
Been wanting to check this out since it opened. I knew it was in north Scottsdale somewhere, but didn't realize it was fountain hills until I literally drove by it and was like OH! Did a u-turn, made a quick reservation via OpenTable and pulled into the parking lot. Valet parking is complimentary if dining here. Walked in and a group was checking in before me and having a discussion before one lady in the group noticed me and told the group to move lol. I checked in and was told they had just transitioned to lunch. Darn it, but no biggie--still want to try. Meanwhile the phone was ringing off the hook and there's two people working the host stand, plus I assume a manager as he was well dressed and ended up getting the phone call so the other two could work. It seemed very disorganized or like they were slammed, but the restaurant was only half full, if that! Got seated and waited a bit before server came. She was super nice and sweet. I asked what her favs were and decided on the soup of the day which was a milestone with cous cous (good, but a bit spicy and salty), and chicken. Well, the chicken was super dry and the veggies were a tad over cooked as well. But the chicken was awful. I asked if there was maybe a sauce I could dip it in? The server apologized and promptly offered to replace the dish so I decided on the salmon. That was very moist, tender and delicious! The cous cous was sweet because of the raisins. I enjoyed my meal replacement. The server comped my soup--she felt so bad because she had recommended the chicken dish. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if she charged me for the chicken or the fish. Oh well. J also enjoyed the view and will be back for the star dudes on Friday!

Yelp
Great food and friendly customer service. We like to eat dinner here for date nights as we travel for work to AZ and stay at the Marriott. Lunch menu is limited, wish they would expand. We love bar service, bar tenders are awesome!
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
The brisket burger was hard overdone and cold with no sauce at all on it. One of the worst burgers I have ever had. The others at our table had ok food but not great and the table next to us sent their food back as well. They said the salmon tasted frozen. Bill was over $250, so not worth it. Suggest somewhere else. My $3 in n out burger was much better.

Nassali M.

Yelp
The restaurant itself is really nice. View is beautiful especially at sunset. However the food was just okay, definitely overpriced for flavor.

Kristyn B.

Yelp
This kitchen is disgusting...I worked there as a temp worker....I wouldn't even eat the family meal.....the 21 year old "manager" showed up 2 hours late, she just graduated from hospitality management school, has never worked in the industry...the other manager was a temp, with his wife upstairs in a room...good luck finding him.....never saw an actual hotel employee the 36 hours I worked...ALL Temps....then I saw what these "members" pay what a joke

Karen G.

Yelp
Worst service ever! Waited 10 minutes to order drinks, another 10 minutes to get them only to be served cold food 37 minutes later. We requested the food be reheated but was told they couldn't take the food back into the kitchen but could remake it but it would take 30 minutes. Spoke to supervisor who could have cared less and was then overcharged on our bill.
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
So just to be clear...service is amazing. Awesome staff. Food is modest though. Maybe it was a bad night, but my steak (medium rare) came out cold in the center. The salad my wife ordered had stale like tortilla strips. The good: the bread provided, the exotic mushroom mix, and the ahi sashimi. Would definitely come back for the view alone.
google avatar

M M.

Yelp
Ceviche (small but tasty) Chopped Salad (ask for protein to be cooked on separate flattop, and bacon too, as the bacon is put in the shared fryer to cook, blue cheese and dressing are gluten free) Gelato (chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla bean are gluten free) Drinks are overpriced, but more reasonable during happy hour. View is stunning. Inside and outside seating. Reservations recommended. Valet or self parking. Expect a longer wait time for food and drinks.

Yelp
The two stars is for only the ambiance and scenery. The restaurant faces out into Fountain Hills with a beautiful view and and nice open air seating. Unfortunately, that's the only real positive thing I can say about our dining experience there. When we got there my date and I are very impressed with the ambiance and the view of the valley. It's a beautiful night and we are really looking forward to having a romantic dinner together. After enjoying the scenery on a high note, everything starts to go downhill...fast! 1) When we made the reservation, we specifically said that she has a gluten allergy. When we checked in at the front desk to be seated the hostess even double checked that we are good to go with the gluten allergy and they have gluten free menu and bread for us. The server brought out bread which is not gluten free for our table. At first we thought no big deal. It's an honest mistake we just need to change it out. However, that proved to be harder than it seems. After three failed attempts with waving and literally calling out to different servers, we could not get anyone to come over. 2) Our server finally shows up to take our order after about 20 minutes. We asked to switch out to gluten bread, which he hastly took and was about to leave while we were asking questions about the menu. Knowing that if he leaves it would take a very long time to get him back, I literally had to speak kind of loud to get his attention to stay and answer our questions. 3) We ordered brussel sprouts to start. As you can see in the picture that I uploaded, the brussel sprouts literally came out charred. It is so overcooked that when you eat it, it tastes bitter. Then we had it remade, the remake was a lot better but there are pieces of broccoli mixed into the brussel sprout dish. Why is there broccoli in the fry brussel sprouts? 4) Here it's the worst part about this experience. Where we sat, there is an army of ants that is crawling under our seats. It started to crawl up my date's leg and bite her. She was wearing a dress. We asked the server to change tables. Then shortly after we change tables, they set another couple at the same table with the ants. Why would you seat another customer at a place when you know there are a bunch of ants crawling all over? Of course shortly noticing there are a bunch of ants, the new couple requested to change tables too. This is the first time I have ever seen an upscale fine dining restaurant be this irresponsible with their customers due to the lack of communication between the service and the hostess staffs. At the end, aside from a beautiful scenery this was an awful dining experience. If this experience is any predictor of what future experience will hold, then it is very unfortunate because it is such a beautiful place.

Yelp
The views are amazing. The kitchen must have been way behind- it took a very long time to get our meals. My lobster bisque was flavorful but way too thick- I would go back for drinks but not for dining. Server was nice but everything took way too long. We were there for approximately 3 hours for dinner just a routine dinner

Yelp
The view is fantastic, but the food was no Bueno! I ordered the waffle, which was dry and tasteless. Let's not forget the dry fruits on the side. My friend's husband ordered the chicken pot pie; he almost finished his plate, which means it was good. My girlfriend ordered the huevos rancheros, which was pretty decent but nothing to write home about. My husband ordered the pancakes and HATED it. It was thick, dry, and wasn't the best tasting. If you want to look at a fantastic view, it's cool, but the food was mediocre at best. Can you eat a view?!

Yelp
My family dines out A Lot..and the only place comparable to this Hidden Gem, is Nobu in Dubai...This is the second time dining here , and each time have been worth the drive , resources and nourishment..Our helper, preferred terminology, Tet made it even remarkable.. Right from the start , his serene demeanor and smile assured us we were in for a remarkable experience. And sure enough IT Was!!.. My thanks to the remarkable Chef, the hospitality team and especially our Helper Tet for making my Wife's birthday dinner a memorable one.. Nathaniel

Yelp
Location, location, location! We always get the best drinks at this bar. We haven't tried the food yet but I hear the burgers are delicious. The bartenders we had each time we visited we extremely nice (everyone at the hotel is). We made it in time for happy hour and we're able to enjoy the happy hour menu. We had several margaritas and were feeling pretty good afterwards. We we checked out we used our free drink voucher and had even more margs. I highly recommend checking this place out. The view of 4 peaks from the window is everything!

Yelp
After reading some of the recent reviews I was reluctant to take my house guests there for dinner. I had been there on a number of occasions when this restaurant was under a different name and was always pleased with the experience. So this time was no different. My party had the ribeye steak, the chicken, and the salmon and they were all fabulous. The service was incredible, professional, and timely. Prices very reasonable compared to Scottsdale restaurants. I couldn't be more pleased with the dining experience. And the views are incredible...including front row seats to watch someone's wedding. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
I have attempted to dine here twice with out of town friends. Each time we have been seated only to wait 20-30 minutes before we are acknowledged at the table. Furthermore, no one came to our table those two times. We politely got up and walked out. I will never try again, though this restaurant with amazing views is two minutes from my home in the Adero Canyon Community. I do not understand what is going on with this establishment. It is truly unfortunate. I cannot comment on the food as I've not had the opportunity to try anything. We have been at different times of the day and I've not been during dinner rush or lunch rush. So I have know idea why service is non existent. ‍

Yelp
Absolutely loved! The quality of the food was amazing! The portions were perfectly sized and worth the price! This was my first time here and my friend and I decided to come here for Arizona Restaurant Week and it was definitely worth it! The scallops were perfectly cooked and seasoned, no need for a knife. The braised short rib was delicious and fell apart easily. The crème brûlée was delicious and had a perfect crust. The short rib came out a little fast during our first course so they sent it back and then brought us a fresh one later after we had finished the scallops. We also split a bottle of Pinot noir with dinner and it was amazing. My friend booked a second reservation for Sunday at the table! The manager even came by to check on us and make sure everything was good and tasty! Excellent wait staff! I will definitely be adding this place to my list of favorites!

Yelp
Came in for Father's Day brunch today. Had a great table reserved right next to the window - unobstructed beautiful view! Server was attentive and great. Really appreciate all the staff still wearing masks! Floors definitely could use some extra sweeping/cleaning. Floor under our table had some pieces of fruit and crackers leftover from previous diners. Table next to us had a crab leg shell underneath their table.

Yelp
Service was wonderful..view you simply cannot beat. In addition to the views and service lunch is great and should get 4/5 stars. Dinner is the problem. If you charge 5 star restaurant prices you should have 5 star quality steak and at minimum cook it properly! We had a great cut of meat but was served well done instead of medium rare as ordered. Don't waste your time on Cielo dinner while you stay at the wonderful Adero resort. There are plenty of restaurants that are phenomenal within the area!
