The 24 Best Restaurants In Madrid - Madrid - The Infatuation

"Cilindro is the only place in Madrid where you can feel the peppery punch of Peruvian coconut chicken with aji, drink a glass of wine for less than €4, and experience the warmth of a Spanish tavern, all in one place. This two-story former bar-turned-Spanish-Peruvian-restaurant in Salamanca is all about value: elevated food and good wine at an affordable price. The ceviche and tiradito are a triumph thanks to their freshness and spice. Fusion plates, like that coconut chicken with aji, combine sweet and savory flavors in a way that just feels natural. And their signature passion fruit cream that drips out of a chunk of coconut, topped with a dollop of mint ice cream, is refreshing on hot days. Their ground-level bar looks just as it probably did decades ago and is where to pop in for a quick ceviche and vino. Or, reserve the chicer downstairs sala, with hanging plants and warm mood lighting, for dinner." - lori zaino

Fusion of all international food restaurant. The atmophere is great. Most of dishes are quiet saucy but it is okay. Good place for an occasion sometimes.

It was so good to have mixed Japanese, peruan, Spanish food. The tastes are reach and fresh. I suggest you try each different snacks as they are not so big. Cocktails are good as well. There is indoor and outdoor area for eating and drinking.

Such a very delicious and creative tapas! The perfect combination of Peruvian and Spanish cuisine! The waiter was also very friendly and explained each tapas in English patiently:) I will come back to try more tapas.

The dessert won me over, the blue cheese cheesecake was delicious! The rest of the food was good, including the tuna tacos, the gunkans and the bao. I did not enjoy the ceviches, thought they were very salty

Google
Cilindro si definitely on my top lost of restaurants in Madrid. Very creative, yet full of flavour, dishes at a reasonable price. The menu is relatively short, which I like, but covers a very wide variety of dishes with a Peruvian DNA, but with a very interesting fusion twist. Highly recommended! :-b

Interesting fusion Peruvian restaurant. Flavors are well combined and with good ingredients. Service was attentive. Average downtown Madrid prices.

This place was recommended by a friend. It is a fusion Peruvian restaurant. Food is very tasty ; maybe on a higher price tag….but honestly it was very good to my taste. The place was full and we were lucky to find a seat. Better to book in advance. Only few waiters speak English but they were all trying to make us feel good. Good place to enjoy a different food and nice cocktails!

Made the mistake of not seeing reviews so was just a little disappointed when I got my lomo saltado. Presentation was like a sushi roll while I was expecting a traditional lomo with fries and veggies but nonetheless it was good. I normally go to their other restaurants and was glad to see they had the tiradito with a different twist. Staff very nice and friendly.

Yelp
Asian Fusion with a Spanish twist. Loved it. My favorite meal in Madrid so far. If you find yourself in the Goya shopping area, I highly recommend this restaurant for the adventurous eater. A bit of a tapas type restaurant, This fantastic restaurant sits down a small quiet street with a bar and tables upstairs along with a basement with 7 additional tables for larger groups. Staff was attentive and guided me and my friends through the menu. It is a very exotic menu so my limited Spanish could not determine "bull tail" "cow heart" and deconstructed gyoza. The nacho was basically ahi tuna with a nice wasabi over a large crispy won ton. Of course we started with a nice ceviche , but after that came wave after wave of really adventurous dishes. I hate to butcher the description of the rest of the dishes as it would not do it justice. I just ate and let my local hosts do the ordering.
