I feel so sorry for our kids and I’m scared for mine. When you call all the customer services representatives are so nasty buses always late or going their own routes. No call backs from those in higher positions supposedly to help. I’m trying to move back to blue ash it’s sad the difference in treatment based on districts

I wish I can give them NEGATIVE ZERO!. Going to the board of education is a BIG WASTE OF TIME!. Spoke to someone on the phone the previous day, was told to bring all of the required documents. Went in the next day and some lady with an accent tells me I can't switch my son over. Another lady tells me what I needed to do and I thanked her, she was rude and saying "no I'm not going to do that, since her colleague said the same thing". NO SHE DIDNT. I will be writing to whoever everyday if I have too. The way yall treat folks I'm not surprised how yall yall get cussed out 10 ways to Sunday.

I’ve never ever had support from Cincinnati Public board. Now there’s an automatic system you go through to report your concerns. Even though I came in person to report the seriousness of my child being bullied and I was ignored once I was told to report it online; just to hear back a month later that “my issue was already taken care of by the school”. My issue wasn’t taken care of, that’s why I reached out to the Board for assistance and to file a grievance! The fact nobody followed up with me at all was insane to me! Cincinnati Public is failing our children and parents and my child has special needs which makes it harder for me to find proper schooling and support.

It’s disappointing to see how much favoritism is happening. My kids come home and share what they’re experiencing in the classroom and during sports, and it’s truly concerning. On top of that, the school is running out of lunches during lunchtime, yet meals are being handed out to families during dismissal. Also, my children are not being given an alternative recess option during certain weather conditions. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

My daughter has needed a bus card since the first day of school.They meaning transportation is refusing to give her one. I have borrowed and taken money I don't have to make sure my daughter attended school. They have lied for months about given her one . I wish Shaun Murphy knew how the metro staff lie. The head of metro and her assistant in that building lied and said she would receive it. I am late for work or leaving work to make sure she gets home.

"To the School Registration Office" ​I am writing to express my serious concern regarding the enrollment of my daughter, for the upcoming School Year. We completed the registration process approximately two months ago, and despite this, her enrollment has not been finalized. The status remains "in process." ​I have attempted to contact your office multiple times over the past few weeks to get an update. Unfortunately, my calls have gone unanswered. The lack of communication and the prolonged delay in a seemingly straightforward process are deeply unsatisfactory and are causing significant stress. ​My daughter is at risk of falling behind if her enrollment is not completed immediately. That's very sad experience for me and my girl.

I know things can be chaotic of the first week but its now officially open and yall still can't get it right. When a parent calls to speak to someone in transportation, they shouldn't be on hold for 3+ hours, like I have been the last 2 days. Yesterday and Friday because my child bus was an hour past drop off time. You need better communication with the parents. This is a huge problem.

Edit: It has now been well over a month. They have all the paperwork for the student to start and still nothing. Why make things more difficult and have everyone enroll at your location if it's going to be twice as long to enroll than if they just went to the school itself. This makes no sense. This generation is already struggling and now they are going to be so far behind waiting weeks for kids to be able to start.

on April 25th my son who at the time was only 4 years old was pushed by his teacher at Chase elementary. I wasn't informed by the school and no one called me. If it wasn't for noticing the dried up tear marks on his face when I picked him up I wouldn't have known anything. The day of the incident I reached out to the teacher through class dojo which she admitted to pushing my son but in her words she stated she was modeling his behavior!!! The incident was recorded because my son and the rest of his class was on the playground at the time. After reaching out to the principal Ashle Jones, head of early childhood education Vera Brooks, asking to view the tape NOTHING. For weeks my son set out of school as if he was being punished for speaking up. After weeks of phone calls and visits Andrea Ehoodin from the school front desk passed along info on who I could reach out to to hopefully see the video. After reaching out to the head of security for cps On June 17th I was finally able to view the video. The video lasted less than a minute and did not show The entire incident or match the narrative given by Ashle Jones or the teacher Aubrie Sole. That's when I reached out to the new superintendent through email a handful of times which each emails went unanswered, I reached out to the lawyer for cps Daniel Hoying asking for the full video and the incident report and all witness statements because 2 teachers Aubrie Sole and Ms. Day and 2 paraprofessionals were on the playground at the time of the incident. The response I received from the lawyer was rude and stated that according to the district the matter is closed there is no other video and the teacher didn't write an report. Ashle Jones the principal told us that she viewed the video and there was indeed a pushed but she doesn't think Aubrie Sole the teacher involved had malice intentions or wanted to hurt my son. She stated that the teacher would receive disciplinary action which she couldn't discuss and I believe the school suspended her for 5 days. She has since left the school district after this incident. I have emails from the teacher apologizing for pushing him and the principal admitted that she did see the full video and that it was indeed an push. I was able to get one witness statement from a teacher that witness the incident and said there was a push, a little boy in his class told his mom that Aubrie Sole pushed my son because he was being bad. I'm writing this because I feel like cps is just saying F me and son and get over it. So if anyone had a PreK student in Aubrie Sole class at Chase Elementary please please talk to them and ask them if they have ever been hit or pushed by her or any other teacher.

This review is for the Main Office on Burnet Ave: I had to visit to sign paperwork with HR, and the entire experience was perfect. The security guard was incredibly kind and helpful, as I was over an hour early traveling from a state away. He helped me find my way around and kept checking to see how soon I could go back and take care of business. The staff in HR was also very professional and helpful, and made a point of ensuring that my documents were in order and prepared before I ever went to my appointment. Thanks for the great experience, Cincinnati Public Schools!

The worst school system in the area. The teachers are horrible and barely teach the students. They have a problem with parents who actually take an interest in their child's education and retaliate once the parent(s) complain about their behavior.
