"There isn’t a deli on every corner in Dallas, but Cindi’s keeps it real East Coast-style, especially where breakfast is concerned. Indulge your inner New Yorker with lox and bagels, blintzes, and latkes, or stick to classic Texas favorites with migas or a chorizo omelet. Breakfast is served all day, so don’t worry about waking up early." - Courtney E. Smith

Had breakfast with my parents here for the first time yesterday and had an excellent experience! The server was patient with us, the food came out all at once, everything was hot, and tasted amazing! The cinnamon raisin bagel was perfectly cooked and fresh. I ordered cheese blintzes with strawberry preserves since I had t seen them on a menu in years, and they were perfect. There was just the right amount of filling and sweetness. We also had the Cindi’s omelet, migas, pancakes, and sausage patties. I tried a bite of everything because everything looked so good I wanted to taste it lol Our drinks were always full and we didn’t have to wait very long for anything. It did take us a minute to find a parking spot, there is plenty of parking but they were busy, so it was a good problem to have. We didn’t have to wait long as people came in and out, though.

I’m stuck on Matzo Ball soup since trying it in New York last year, but these Everything Bagel sandwiches bring me immense joy! The salads are huge, and the desserts are also yummy! I can go hear numerous times a week. Glad I don’t live closer! Lol

Pretty cute little place. Pasted by it multiple times and just realized it was there. There is a comfortable older dining atmosphere, like a hometown diner. There is and very delicious looking dessert section (Yum!), there is a delicious and I had to order Togo myself. Look at the size of this chicken!!!

We ate here well on a business trip. We love warm, oldie diner / deli restaurants over fancy boring chains. The coffee was great, the waitress was wonderful, and the food was a perfect homey yummy breakfast.

Google
I have driven by on 75 but never stepped foot here. I came and ate dinner here with a good friend of mine. We both got the Reuben special. We tried a corned beef one and a pastrami one. One came with French fries and the other with potato chips. I liked the corned beef Reuben more. The wait staff was attentive and kept checking in on us. They sell all sorts of other knick knacks too like bagels and deserts. I also didn't know this was a chain.

Several of us had breakfast here for the first time and were impressed with the service. They were friendly and prompt. I had the two eggs over easy with hash browns, wheat toast, and ham. Everything came out perfectly. We'll be back.

Had a 25 minute wait that went by fast, the place was very busy on a Sunday around noon. Service was okay, the server never offered refills of my families drinks. The place feels dated and could use a refresh to make it more up to date. The omlet was delicious and pancakes were a cut above most places. Loved the bakery set-up were you can see all the delicious desserts, We bought some desserts for later from the bakery. The We can't wait to come back with the rest of the family and try something different.

Google
The Reuben was excellent, even after riding home in my car for 20 minutes. The potato salad was a little sweet and not my favorite. This place was super busy and the service was excellent!

Yelp
Out and about on a summer day with my Waffle loving granddaughter and Cindy's came to mind. No need to second guess...I headed straight there. Even at 10:30 am on Thursday they're busy. No wait but... Monumental menu selection Great service Throwback deli/ cafe atmosphere Good prices Go!!!! Did I mention great pastries?

Yelp
What a day, went to Cindi's on a whim, and got the best booth in the restaurant This time I tried the corned beef sandwich which was very filling instead of my usual pastrami Reuben. It was not too salty and sliced really thin. Rye bread was fresh, not toasted. The servers were really nice and checked on us many times. Would definitely recommend this location for that New Jersey expat Diner feel.

Yelp
Typical Northeast diner food. Nothing great here but nothing bad either. My corned beef and pastrami sandwich with cole slaw and Russian dressing was middle of the road. Had to ask for extra dressing and slaw since it came out with maybe a little dollop of dressing. Picture is post me pouring it all over. Was very dry in the beginning. $18 for the sandwich with potato salad. #4 This is not your Kenny & Ziggy's New York Delicatessen in Houston. Don't think that going in.

Yelp
It had been 10 years since we last ate at Cindi's because of a bad experience on our last visit. But time (eventually) heals all, so off we went for a Saturday night dinner. The dinner experience is completely different from breakfast. Breakfast time is super busy with a long wait and crowded parking. Dinner time has ample parking and no wait, so we were seated promptly after entering. The menu has not changed and remains intimidating due to the extensiveness of offerings. I focused on my fave--something with corned beef and ordered the Reuben. I asked for lean and it came with lean meat. The sandwich had a very generous portion of corned beef and was served hot. You put your own sauce on, which is fine. It was a good sandwich but not better than mine at home. The wife went for something homey and ordered the beef stew. She loved it. Meat was not just tender but also juicy. She loved the broth and the corn muffins. That was a home run. The kid had pancakes which were fluffy and she loved the hot chocolate. Our server Gabriela was efficient and could answer all my question about the menu. The ambience is still is NY diner style, which is fine. We all enjoyed our food so it will not be 10 years before we return!

Yelp
This is an interesting place with a handful of standout options but many average options. A NY Deli chain that was taken over by a Vietnamese family. It is quite an impressive story. Foodwise, the standouts to me are the Reubens and the latkes so far. I typically get a combo corned beef and pastrami. Both meats are excellent, corned beef is more lean. The latkes are unique to me and like a Jewish egg potato pancake. You can dip it in sour cream or apple sauce. Both are surprisingly excellent options. Overall, a little bit pricey $16.95 for the Reuben and a side of fries, potato salad, or cole slaw. I don't like all cole slaw, but I am a fan of theirs. Not too mushy with a good flavor profile. Some other dishes that were okay but not spectacular: the Philly cheese, the matzo ball soup. My friend liked the Reuben better than the patty melt. Busy diner, almost all times of the day throughout the week. Bustling with booths and small tables. The waitresses I've had are pretty helpful and nice. I've come at least 4 times with my wife or friends, so definitely a solid option and I'm a fan. Especially for breakfast or brunch. But the lack of more than a couple things catching my attention gives Cindi's 4 stars.

Tracy L.

Yelp
WHAT I ORDERED: New York-Style Combo #4 (Corned Beef, Pastrami, and Swiss Cheese), New York Reuben, Side Order of Latkes PARKING: Limited parking space and they are tight spaces INSIDE: Walk in and there's a counter where you can order as well as a display case of bagels. Friendly staff. The dining area is to the right with a mix of booths and tables. Bathrooms are available. THE FOODS/DRINKS: The sandwiches are huge and I thought they would make me feel heavy afterwards but that wasn't the case at all. The bread was soft and the meats were well balanced with the cole slaw and dressing. The latkes were fun to try and it came with applesauce and sour cream. The had a great variety of items on their menu that I'm curious to try next time I come back.

Yelp
You can't go wrong with Cindis! They have great breakfast specials, service is super quick and is a no frills style which I love for this type of restaurant. Get the Banana Nut pancakes, you won't regret it.

Randal M.

Yelp
If you want to eat at an authentic New York style deli in Dallas, Cindi's the only place to go. I'm not kidding when I say the pastrami sandwich is 8 inches thick top to bottom, including the bread..

Emily N.

Yelp
From what I have heard and seen, Cindi's a dallas staple! Though there is a wait especially on weekends, Cindi's is always a good option when you are unsure of what you're in the mood for. Their menu ranges from sandwiches to traditional breakfasts and don't even get me started on the desserts. I found it quite interesting that cottage cheese is a side option because I haven't really seen it elsewhere. Anywho, Cindi has not disappointed me so far as someone who tried both the traditional breakfast and the club. I truly recommend you check them out if you haven't!

Grace H.

Yelp
Excellent as always. Great selection. Good portions. Great service! Only downside is small parking spaces. Will be back!!

Erin G.

Yelp
The hostesses here were super sweet and we got to our table in a timely fashion after a comfy wait on the couches in the front. The layout of the place is cute and a great mix of open and closed areas. Ordered the blueberry pancakes- there were not many blueberries and there was also a fine hair in it. Tbh I ate them anyway and just pulled the hair out. Didn't see any other hairs. The food was alright otherwise. The fresh fruit was very good, on a positive note. Our waitress was very on top of things and obviously experienced and knowledgeable. It took her a while to grab our card, but my friend and I didn't mind as we were talking and enjoying the atmosphere. I appreciate that there were no tvs or music in here- it felt down to earth and old fashioned. Don't know if I would come back here again, but I appreciate the good parts of this restaurant

Jessica L.

Yelp
This spot catered my uncle's food for his memorial service, and they were very thorough in going through in checking the receipt with everything we ordered BEFORE packing it in our car. I love that level of professionalism, and I'm sure everyone who caters from them appreciates that. Mistakes happen, and they do what they can to prevent someone from walking away without all that they paid for (including larger orders, like this catering one).

Yelp
Great go to for breakfast at any time. We shared CFS with scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy and crispy hashbrowns. We also had to have a side of potato latkes with sour cream and apple sauce. Quick service in a noisy restaurant. A must is to get some if there strudel to go !!

Laura M.

Yelp
Great spot for authentic NY Jewish food. Identical to my favorite spots in Houston and NYC. Tried a wide variety - blintzes, Chicken and dumpling soup, latkes, and pancakes. Really everything was truly fantastic. I literally can't wait to go again and try more items. We walked away with some bakery items as well- bagels, challah, hamantaschen, poppy pastry, lox spread. All were exactly what I had hoped for. Authentic and delicious (aside from the haman cookie, really didn't like that it was mushy). This will certainly be a regular spot for me when in town. Great server, very comfortable casual interior, and even the decaf coffee was good.

Aya H.

Yelp
Delicious diner food! Pretty crowded especially on weekends. Our favorite is the matzo ball soup. I liked the lemon blintz as they weren't heavy and lightly sweetened.

Ginger S.

Yelp
I love stopping by this diner for bagels or a quick breakfast. Their bagels are always fresh and never burnt, which is a big plus for me. I also appreciate the variety of cookies and pickles they offer. The atmosphere reminds me of the diners I used to visit with my parents when we would go see my grandparents up north.

John S.

Yelp
Love Cindis. It is somewhere I know I can bring anyone and they will enjoy the food. Also the cheesecake is bomb! Thanks for being so great!

Chris P.

Yelp
So delicious and actually good prices. Very accurate and good dining experience and good bagel shop / deli area. Very authentic looking.

Genille R.

Yelp
While in Dallas for a week, I got excited to find a NY Deli. They have a variety of menu options and bagels galore. They also sell Kaiser rolls. For dinner I tried the chicken and dumplings, which came with soup or salad, two sides, and bread. Food was delicious. Very comforting. Returned the next morning to pick up a breakfast sandwich. I ordered a ham egg and cheese on a Kaiser roll. The roll I got definitely wasn't a Kaiser roll, so I was a bit disappointed. They have lots of pastries. I was hoping to see rainbow cookies, but they didn't have it. I tried the chocolate mousse cake instead. That cake was absolutely amazing. Service was quick and helpful. They even offered me a sample of the chicken and dumplings while I was trying to decide what I wanted. The location itself definitely reminded me of a NY diner. Felt like home.

Michael H.

Yelp
Fantastic place! They make the corned beef inhouse and of course the breads and bagels since they are also a bakery. Have the sandwich with the all the dressing including the Russian dressing made in house as well. Matzo ball soup is my favorite now!

Vanessa A.

Yelp
Came for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. There were a lot of ppl, but it didn't take long for us to be seated or to get our food. The portions are both large and satisfying! I ordered the Greek salad w/ chicken. Had the perfect amount of everything including chicken. Most places I order from always skimp out on the added protein. Both sandwiches were meaty and satisfying! I also got myself a cheese danish and apple turnover. It was a little heavy, so having just a few bites was satisfying. This is a great place to come when you have cravings and can't decide on where to go eat. They have a big menu guaranteed to satisfy your cravings. This is also a great place to come and have a lunch alone or with others!

Liz C.

Yelp
First time here...the ambiance is mellow. The coffee is good and strong. I got the bagel and lox spread and was expecting an actual piece of smoked salmon and the cream cheese, but instead got some cream cheese with a bit of salmon mixed into it. I guess for $20 you can get just that with some cappers. The pancakes were good. I will get a dessert next time, cookies looked good!

Elisa M.

Yelp
Decided to try something different and this place came recommended so we gave it a try. Walked in and was told it would be about. 20 min wait, no worries, however when my buzzard went off and I approached the hostess stand the guy told me that they had paged me 4 times and gave my table away. I'm like it literally just went off and I came straight to the stand. After going back and forth, another hostess approached and stated there was a booth available for us. So the menu has lots of options however they aren't kind to substitutions. We ordered a little or this and that and proceeded to wait for our food. It was busy so no worries there. Food gets brought to the table and the order is wrong. Instead of just correcting what was wrong my whole plate got taken so I told everyone else to dig in and not wait for me. Overall food was okay, nothing really spectacular that had me raving about it. Decided to order dessert. Once again we had options and went with them. Cheesecake was good, the double chocolate cake was REALLY rich and the Boston cream pie was disappointing (dry). Told the guy that there was no paper towels on the bathroom as did 4 other folks after us and all he did was say okay. Officially can say I've been here and I won't lie, I did want to check out some of the other pastries but at this point I wasn't willing to risk it.

Yelp
When you ask a childhood friend from the sixth borough of NY (South Florida) where to meet for late breakfast/early lunch, expect to get a recommendation for a Jewish deli in Dallas! This was a great pick, and it was hopping on a Saturday. While we waited, I drooled at the bakery case - black and whites, lots of cakes, challah, and an assortment of bagels. (A quick note to Cindi's - blueberry bagels are a monstrosity and should not exist.) I had the veggie omelette and it was super good! And came with SO MUCH FOOD! First of all, the omelette itself was gargantuan and packed with vegetables. Then, it had home fries on the side. Then, a side of pancakes! I think I died and went to heaven. The sides were just as great as the omelette. I especially liked my pancakes. My niece got the banana nut pancakes and I never heard a word from her throughout the meal - she was intent on eating them. My sister got the whitefish salad and OMG so delicious. It didn't seem like a huge portion, but it was so rich that she said it was more than enough. Everyone rolled out of there happy and very full.

don j.

Yelp
Always a good time at Cindi's...breakfast all day! The banana nut pancakes and the matzo ball soup is a must. Thank me later

Nicole G.

Yelp
Get there early and they have specials. Their breakfast is always solid! I typically get the 2-3 egg plate with bacon and well done hashbrowns. Their pancakes as soooooo good and fluffy! You don't even need syrup. For lunch, their Rueben is hard to beat. It's delicious! Their meatloaf special is really good!

Jersey J.

Yelp
Latkes, knish, corned beef, and pastrami. Oh my! Just to be clear this will never be a NY Deli (Just My opinion) Everything we tried was great. The beef stew was different but good. I loved the knish and corned beef and pastrami on rye. I loved the Apple turnover and the cheesecake was really good. Good service and the place was clean we will be going Back

Elayne D.

Yelp
great service, prices, and awesome food!! You can't go wrong as everything is great!! Be sure to take some goodies to eat at home!!

Sharlene C.

Yelp
We were looking for a good pastrami old school diner and stumble upon Cindi's deli. Really looking for a good pastrami sandwich and matzo ball soup. The waitress was very attentive and even told us about their other locations. Some of us got the pastrami and it didn't disappoint. Glad they had the option to get half or a whole sandwich. Matzo ball however was disappointing. It just wasn't very flavorful and kind of dry. We also ordered the chopped liver thinking it was chunks but it was more like a tuna salad where it was blended and not what we expected. They did have good pickles spicy and mild which were great. The Reuben sandwich was the bomb!! Anyways except for a few items it was pretty good food for a NY deli in Addison. We were hoping their other location opened early at 7am as we needed an early start the next day but alas they don't open until 8am.

Chastity W.

Yelp
Friendly service, very attentive. The mocha latte was good, could been a tad bit stronger coffee wise, gave very hot chocolate vibes. I opted for a traditional breakfast as picture. Everything was cooked to how I ordered. Good crowd. Very homey feel. I will be back.

Julia C.

Yelp
The food was fine but not great. The bagels were not toasted enough but had decent flavor. The eggs and breakfast potatoes were average. The biscuits were terrible. The waiting area on a Sunday was packed, and yet they made no effort to keep people from camping out at tables long after their meals were done and coffee cups empty. Several tables were just sitting with dirty dishes in front of them, playing on their phones the entire time we were waiting. Our waiter was very slow. She was so busy running food that I'm pretty sure she forgot to put in our order for a while. It took 25 minutes to get 2 simple breakfasts. Other tables who sat down after us were finishing their meals before ours arrived. All in all, I'd probably be willing to come back, but not as my first or second choice.

Keanne E.

Yelp
i came in with one mission and it was to try the reuben sandwich. i went w corned beef over pastrami only because pastrami is a bit drier and it wasn't what i was wanting at the moment. the corned beef did not disappoint. it was moist and flavorful. i kept taking each bite with intention and purpose, and it's to let the flavors soak in my tongue. the fries were shit tho but that's ok cus we're not here for the fries. i'll be coming back for the pastrami. i also want to dry the #4 on the menu: corned beef, pastrami and swiss cheese. also hear their breakfast items are good? idk, when i hear deli im eating a sammich

Joe R.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of delis, Cindi's is one of the best around. I've had the Ruben twice and was very happy with it, they have delicious fries, and their apple strudel the bomb. One thing that bugs me though is they are expensive. A Reuben with fries is $16, the strudel is $5, a pound of roast beef is $18, over priced even for an excellent deli. I always have good service and their food is always good, but they should really reconsider their pricing model, maybe New Yorkers are used to high prices, but I think it's excessive.

Danny G.

Yelp
Everything is good here Food, Service and Ambience is great!! I couldn't put it in better words. A+ Food A+ Service A+ for everything else. Definitely recommend this place.

Ann E.

Yelp
11111 N. Central Expwy, Dallas, TX location is always busy with lots of customers. Sometimes you wait a little bit for your food because they are so busy. Staff calls a lot of people by their name so you know they have a lot of frequent customers. Wait staff is always friendly and a few will recommend items if you ask. Menu is huge. Once you have been there it's easy to find your favorite choices. There is a separate section in the restaurant that displays all types of meats, cheeses, bagels, and pastries. I have taken my grandchildren there several times and my daughter recently joined us. Everyone enjoyed their food. Give them a try.

Sharla P.

Yelp
Great sandwiches. Extensive menu of typical NY deli breakfast items. Quick service. Can be hard to get in on the weekend.

Nicki G.

Yelp
My family and I went here this morning. Overall the food was good, but could have cooked hot. Our waitress was very on point and that could be why the food delivered slightly cold. The eggs Benedict were good! The hash browns were burnt. The chicken fried steak, okay. The biscuits a gravy okay not great! I will definitely go back and try their deli sandwiches. Those look amazing and that's where I'll start next time.

Maurice B.

Yelp
I have been coming to Cindi's Deli for breakfast 3-4 times a week. On the Senior menu they have a special with one egg, grits, bacon and bagel for $6.95. I have a stomach ailment and I have been told by my doctor not to eat bacon (or any breakfast meat). A single egg is $2.95 on the menu and 4 strips of bacon is $4.95 (you get 2 strips of bacon on the special). I have tried to get them to give me 2 eggs and no bacon which comes out in their favor. I have been told there are no substitutions and if I want an extra egg it will be $2.95 whether I get the bacon or not. I would understand if there was a difference in price where the restaurant lost money by doing the substitution, but in this case the restaurant not only does not lose money, it makes a customer happy. This establishment has good food. As a rule the service is good, but they are not taking into consideration a customer's situation and I am afraid I had my last breakfast here today.

Noah R.

Yelp
I got the New York Ruben to go and I can't wait to go back. The inside was packed! The parking lot was PACKED! Great signs across the board. Meat Ratio was over the top! Can't wait to come back and try a few other sandwiches vs getting it to go.

Rebecka Z.

Yelp
Cindy's New York deli is absolute chicken soup for the soul. When your soul is weary and you need something to eat that just soothes you to your core, Cindy's is definitely the place to come and eat. I had just been through a difficult week and happened to have gotten off work early and decided to stop by Cindy's to have lunch by myself and just enjoy some quiet time. Reading over the menu I decided to try the matzo ball soup, even though I have never had it in my life but it just really sounded like what I needed at the moment and boy was it ever. The matzo balls were perfect, not too firm but not too soft and not mushy at all. They swam in a hot, savory broth that felt like a warm blanket out of the dryer when you take your first sip from the spoon. It tastes like it was made with love and warms you from the inside out. Just before I was done with myself the waitress brought out my cheese danish that had been warmed to absolute perfection. Cindy's deli has one of the best cheese danishes that I have tasted while here in Dallas, the bottom line is just that you need to come and try them. They are perfectly sweetened and not super sugary, just absolute deliciousness and a pastry.

Mikala D.

Yelp
super super busy!! very fast paced on the deli side. cramped for space but it works. the server was very friendly and took good care of us. delicious!

Aitan H.

Yelp
The food was so bad the staff lied to me about the wait time they said it was 15 minutes. It was an hour super rude, laughing at us. Do not recommend going here if I could give 0 star I would

M C.

Yelp
I have and always will love Cindi's. Great prices and amazing bagels! I mean they have salads, bagels, pancakes, and sandwiches and they are all delicious!! Always hits the spot!

Barry T.

Yelp
WONDERFUL Deli!!! Their Bagels are the best 'this side of New York City'. I love their breakfasts and friendly service!!!

Mike K.

Yelp
I enjoy Cindi's NY Deli! Super great service and enjoyed their bagels and delicious omelets. Definitely not as good as a NYC, Miami or LA deli but a good fix for me living in Dallas. They offer a variety of NY delicacies and many different breakfast, sandwich and bakery offerings. Lots of take-home options too. Prices seem fairly reasonable and our food arrived to our table very quickly. The bagels are good but again... definitely not the best I've had. The deli seems to run very smoothly and efficiently which I appreciate considering we were hungry upon our visit! Overall a good spot for a deli experience in Dallas!

Austin K.

Yelp
Cindi's has great food for a good price. Classic diner feel with good service. There can be a wait on the weekends so make sure to allocate extra time at peak hours. Also the parking is bad so be prepared to fit in tight spaces.

Liz K.

Yelp
Home cooking! Kind service! Lots of great items to choose from on the bakery! It can get really busy on the weekends. Either get there early or go on a week day. This is a North Dallas staple!

Joseph M.

Yelp
Great dinner / NY DELI Love the catfish grilled Bagels are great too Visit every other weekend

Kristy R.

Yelp
I had called several places, but no one wanted to accommodate our party of 20. BUT not only did they try to accommodate all of us at one table but they were so pleasant and happy. Food was wonderful and would recommend this cafe!!

Dillon L.

Yelp
Love this place and the bagels! The blueberry is the best! The omelette was great too!
