So glad we found this place on vacation! It is small with a hometown atmosphere. The waitress told us that Cindy had the best pancakes in the world. And I inward smiled at her audacity. But it was true! They really were the best pancake pancakes I’ve ever had in my life! Cindy offers huge portions of fabulous food! It is the only place on our New England vacation that we went to twice!

Excellent breakfast. Great service. First time having Portuguese sausage. Yum. Great pancakes perfectly made. Delicious omlette. The pumpernickel toast is a winner.

Went here on a Wednesday morning while visiting my sisters, I had delicious experience. Servers was fast and efficient! My waitress, Hilda, was an amazing and precious woman.

This place is awesome! The amount of food Cindy cooks in only minutes is amazing! The staff is very friendly and hardworking. We're glad we stopped in for a delicious breakfast!

My first visit here 3 months ago was excellent i was so happy i found a bfast place that was delicious. Well ive been two times since and those two times were not the greatest experience. Food was cooked horribly, choch chip pancakes was doused in choc chips and just made horribly, hash string style homefries burnt on top and mush inside, no seasoning. Waited over 30 minutes for our food, tables who ordered and even seated after us had their food before us and were done eating before we received our food ( same amount of people 2) , waitress was rude when asked if it was normal to take this long, didnt bring us our food, never checked on us 1 time while eating, had to ask bus boy for a drink. Needless to say wont be returning. Im very understanding with short staffing etc, there was 4 waitresses working, but the way the waitress was not accommodating or apologetic for wait didn't sit right with me. We didnt wait due to it being busy or staffed because like i stated other tables seated after us got their food before us. Not just 1 table but 2 that i could see.

Excellent food always made fresh i highly recommend this breakfast spot. 5 out of 5 stars for sure

The best corned beef hash omelette I’ve ever had

We went to Cindy's before we headed back to Sacramento Ca. The customer service was excellent. Our waitress made sure to check on is often to fill our cups with hot coffee. The food is cook to order and it came out fast and everything was delicious! I had the sweet bread french toast and my husband had Portuguese omelette with hash browns and toast. Small town and the best breakfast in town.

We came back because it is so good here. Definitely know why the locals love this place. If we were locals you can bet we'd be here a lot! Today, we had the sweetbread French toast. Which was amazing. Just like Cindy's mom said it was. Also we had sausage and cheese egg scrambled. No disappointment there either. Vey generous portions and good coffee. We return back home soon and let me tell you we will miss Cindy's Breakfast and the entire, friendly, incredibly run staff!

Not kidding when I say it's the worst breakfast to ever grace my tastebuds. Poison is served at this establishment, particularly in their bacon omelets. Service wasn't much better. You have been warned. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Wish I could leave a picture bacon was black beyond recognition.

Place closes at noon but when I get there at 11:33 they tell me they aren't seating anyone else?? that means you close at 1130. very disappointed. go to Alice's. They seat you up to closing time

Well, I went there today granted it's a Saturday morning at 10:30am, busy but more than enough staff were on. I sat literally a few minutes at the counter before even being acknowledged, a good morning or I'll be right with you shortly would of been nice. I looked around and all the waitresses were standing around either talking with each other or chatting socially with customers. They were totally oblivious that I had just walked in and sat down. Finally a waitress comes over, an older woman to take my order. From that point on after taking my order all she did was stand around talking to Cindy's mother and older sister about some guy she met on a dating site who lives in Abington Ma. It was absolutely ridiculous, paid no attention to anything else around her. Mind you the owner Cindy is standing right there at the grill allowing this to happen. In the meantime I'm waiting on a refill on my coffee. When I was finished it was clear I was done and ready for my check. I kept looking over at my waitress who at this point was showing Cindy's mother and sister her phone of pictures of this guy. I literally had to ask another waitress for my check who then walked over and interrupted her. She came over gave me my check and never even so much asked how everything was. I was reluctant to leave a tip as she didn't deserve it, I only did because Cindy had cooked the food and it was delicious as always. But honestly I will never step foot in there again as the service honestly sucks. Waitresses should be more attentive to their customers and not having social conversations about your personal life. And the owner as well she should of stepped up and addressed it with her staff!

Doesn't look like much but when you walk by you can smell the amazing sausage and pancakes. They have a nice sit around bar and cook the food right in front of you.

Terrible! The place is extremely tight. You feel like you're rubbing elbows with your neighbor. They had no AC on. To me it's not enjoyable to eat my breakfast dripping sweat. We ordered ice coffee and only got two ice cubes in it. My home fries were burnt and my cream cheese looked like it had been thru a war before getting to our table. There are much better places in town - avoid this one!

We were in Fall River for a weekend concert and wanted a good breakfast before leaving town on Sunday morning. Recent reviews weren't great but there isn't a lot to choose from in Somerset where we were staying so I decided to try it. The food and service were very good! My wife had the French toast. It's Texas style so one slice was enough for her. She added fresh blueberries and whipped cream. The berries were delicious as was the toast. They put a lot of whipped cream which she likes. If you want just a little, you should ask for that. I had the veggie scramble with spinach, onions, and mushrooms. The veggies were fresh and cooked well. Overall the scramble was very good. I added cheddar cheese. I expected shaved white cheddar melted in. My expectations were too high. It was the kind of pre-shredded cheddar that you buy at the grocer's and put in tacos. It doesn't really melt or blend in with the other ingredients like a good cheddar would. The scramble also came with home fries and choice of toast. I am not big on toast and ordered white, dry. It was toasted nicely. They do have the packets of jelly at the table. I was however more interested in the potatoes. The meal came with home fries. I expected a nice big plate of hash browns like a neighboring table had just received. However, I should have asked. The home fries are the more typical New England style of potatoes sliced up into cubes and grilled. Don't get me wrong, they were fine. I just had my heart set on the grilled hash browns. I asked my server, Liz who was GREAT, what I should have asked for. She told me to ask for "Shreds" next time. I ordered some and they came right away. They were VERY good. The prices were very reasonable and it is cash only. Finally, The coffee is diner coffee so don't expect something like a dark roast Jamaican Blue Mountain. I ordered the decaf with milk. The coffee was strong, good and plentiful. I would definitely go again. Thank you.

First time at cindys this morning and we will be back. At first glance seemed packed but the wait was short. Service couldn't have Ben better and the food was delicious.

Awful experience 2nd time in a row coming with my mother. We waited 40 mins after receiving our breakfast. Unfortunately breakfast is great but our order got missed. Too bad

I've eaten here several times and it's always delicious, their chourico hash is great and the portions are large for the price, my bacon egg and cheese croissant from my last visit was also amazing, such a simple thing but perfectly cooked egg and a nice flaky croissant really so make a difference

Best breakfast place around cannot wait until they reopen! This place used to be disgusting, filthy... and then this woman bought it over and we did it. Made it larger and the food is fantastic and so are the prices. Service is good too

I love this place!! I used to go to a different local place until I tried this one. I get the same thing every time on the menu and the prices are great with large portions. I have never been dissatisfied. The only thing is the tight space, but I understand because they work well with what they have. The woman that cooks the grille really has it down to a science. I have never had a prolonged wait for my food and I have been in and out of here within less then a 1/2 hour before. One more thing I do have to say is some of the servers on the busy weekend days forget about your table and drink refills. With a quick reminder to the employees that can be fixed within minutes! The food itself is great!

Everyone always raves about this place so this experience was not only extremely disappointing but surprising as well. Half of the food came out burnt, very obviously so. The waitress never came back to ask how our food was, even after multiple attempts on my part to get her attention. I was by no means blaming the waitress it was busy. However when she came back to bring the check, I did mention to her that it was a poor experience and why, rather than apologize she made an annoyed face, dropped the check and left. Only gave it two stars and not one because the food obviously had potential if it hadn't been burned. Despite the potential, I don't think we will risk the poorly prepared food and poor service again.

Totally awesome breakfast ! unlike most other breakfast places, this place has hashbrowns on their breakfast menu in addition to the traditional home price. Hashbrowns are endangered species on many American breakfast menus. Not here it didn't take much for our server to talk me into a blueberry muffin. That puppy was awesome as well. I was told that weekend mornings have a line sometimes up to a half hour on Sunday, so be prepared. That's a testament to how good this place is. This is my new go to breakfast place effective immediately.

Close to home and easy to visit. Never disappointed. A lot of parking behind the building if you go around the real estate office. Large portions and the food is great! Some local places could learn a lot from this business.

This place is fantastic! My wife and I are new to Somerset within the last two years and have tried every breakfast place in town, along with several others in Swansea & Dighton and Cindy's is the best, hands down. We eat here just about every Sunday and have never been disappointed. The food is fresh, homemade, made to order and always served pipping hot. I usually get the corned beef hash and my wife an omelet with veggies. The veggies are all fresh and not previously frozen which can not be said for other places in town - yuck. In addition to the great good, the staff is super friendly and the service is always above average. They are always accommodating to my wife & I and our young daughter. Keep up the good work, Cindy's!!

A kind of "diner" in a fixed place. Coffee good, breakfast always good, very fair prices, only issue is parking, tight but I usually find a spot within a few minutes. One of our favorites.

Fantastic breakfast spot in the Fall River, MA. area. We stopped in after spending the night in the area. I could smell the deliciousness as we walked through the door. My veggie omelet was perfect, as we're the home fries and coffee. Great, friendly staff and they play Trivia Crack! YUMMO!

Great overall. Little too much cooking oil. Coffee was a bit rough. Tasted burnt or too much chicory. Will definitely come back though.

I'm not really a big breakfast person, but my husband brought me to Cindy's a few months back and I absolutely LOVE this place! It's our first choice of a place to go for breakfast. It's small but worth the wait. The food is amazing! The shreds...my mouth waters just thinking about them. There's often a wait for a table, but it's well-worth the wait. I've had the eggs, the french toast, the sweet bread french toast, the sausage patties, the ham, and the shreds. Have not been disappointed a single time. As I said, the place is small (I think there are four tables for 4, and four tables for 2, plus a little bit larger booth near the front window, as well as some seats at the counter. BUT! They are currently under construction and expanding into the space next door, so hopefully that will improve the wait time! The staff is always friendly and quick, there are a lot of "regular" customers there most of the time when we're in there (we're becoming regulars ourselves LOL!). I have only ever had breakfast here, but if their lunch fare is as good as their breakfast food, I don't think you can go wrong! Great atmosphere, awesome food, friendly service! Just one note, they are CASH ONLY! So be sure to bring along some $$!

The shreds and eggs are delicious! Great place great food! Would highly recommend for a breakfast place. Sometimes tough to get a seat but that's a great sign.

There was a short wait when we got here but it went by quick and we were seated at the diner bar. We loved our eggs Benedict and side of potatoes! Service was good and I can't wait to come back for their dinner service.

Cindy's is a great place to have breakfast!! The food is fantastic the portions are always generousant the restaurant is always clean. The place is always hopping but the wait time is never bad at all. We go as often as we can.

Woke up craving pancakes and Cindy's really delivered! Really cute diner, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere too. The food is delicious and inexpensive. My boyfriend and I got two pancakes each, he got corned beef hash (huge serving!), I got an egg and coffee and it was all only $23 dollars. Parking out front is tight, but there's parking in the back. Cash only too so be prepared for that. I would definitely recommend Cindy's!

Best breakfast in town by far! Cindy puts lots of love into every plate and it shows. Try one of the classics off the menu or go for one of her black board specials. I've had it all , and it's all good ! What really sets Cindy's apart from the competition are her specials. Cinnamon bun pancakes, crunchy french toast , and egg and cheese donut sliders , just to name a few. Wait staff is also great , very attentive and friendly. CASH only , so get to the atm first

Great little breakfast place! We were on the way to Boston and found Cindy's on yelp. Very nice local cafe we were pleased with our meal and would highly recommend folks to stop in if your traveling through the area. The process were very reasonable and the décor is cool... You won't be disappointed... And of course it passed my MARMALADE test!

I finally got the chance to come here with a friend and we did enjoy ourselves here the food was excellent the place is really nice it was a little confusion with the parking but I guess you could park in the back which we did not know coffee was great the only thing I did not care for it was our waitress she was a little rude didn't seem to want to help my friend with the Wi-Fi other than that I will give this place a good recommend and we'll come back

Stopped in here for breakfast on a road trip. Chorico Haag was terrific! Don't forget to order Portuguese sweet bread! Lovely staff! Try it you won't be disappointed!

Cash only but Best Breakfast anywhere! Wife and I are huge fans of breakfast. Their shreds (hash browns) are the areas best. The pancakes are perfect a slight crust on the edges is amazing. We were wondering who also had fruit. Surprised that they offer a huge bowl (one bowl perfect for two) of fruit. They have it all! Never have we ever been disappointed. ONLY two regrets: We wish we knew about them sooner and wish they accepted credit cards.

The home made hash is terrific with two poached eggs on top with some extra hollandnaise sauce. Great home fries to booth. Very reasonably priced.

I've been here a handful of times. Every time the food was outstanding. Breakfast is my favorite meal. You can get anything here. The prices are reasonable too. Cindy has cooked our meals but I'm not sure if she does all the time. She is pleasant to chat with also. A friendly owner is always a plus. The pancakes were so delicious. I also love their shreds. This is a place that's tucked in on County St. The parking isn't good in the front but I heard there's a lot in the back of the place. Go here to eat I promise U won't be diappointed.

I saw this place had five stars and read all the reviews it was right on food was great service was great I traveled a half hour to get to this place and it was worth it. I highly recommend this place

This place is a hidden gem, the food is always delicious and the service is great!! We love the hash ( extra crispy ), shreds, and the pancakes are huge. Our favorite place for breakfast!!
