Yelp
Food was great, with large portions relative to other kosher sit down restaurants in the Miami area. We were also able to quickly get reservations over the phone whereas most kosher places require a credit card on file.
For appetizers I got the soup (vegetable soup that day) and we shared the salmon carpaccio and beet carpaccio. The salmon wasn't worth it for the amount and while the beet was a little more substantial (and had goat cheese, not feta) it probably also wasn't worth it for the amount. The soup on the other hand was great and a good portion.
In terms of entrees I got the mushroom risotto and my wife got the macaroni and cheese. Others with us got the cheese ravioli, endive salad, cine citta salad, and eggplant parm. They were all good portions and worth the price, with good reviews for everything. The only asterisk would be that the macaroni and cheese is typical for a kosher restaurant, no real sharp, flavorful cheeses, but my wife enjoyed it.
I'd also note that the service was relatively slow (significant time between appetizers and main course, forgot one of the entree salads for a while) but we were enjoying each other's company as a big group. They also seemed pretty busy and we were there the day after New Year's (the "observed" day) so that's probably understandable.
For dessert we got tiramisu, which took a little while, partially since I wanted to ask about the Yelp coupon for a free dessert and everyone claimed they had never seen it before but they did eventually honor it.
With regards to the negative reviews I would tend to think there is a sizable silent population that is more than willing to come here since, again they were packed. Though they did have room for 7pm whereas the other kosher restaurants were fully booked.
Overall, I recommend Cine Citta for those seeking a kosher "old school" Italian restaurant experience.
