I attended the Nov 2 /2018 ,
Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen) , Friday evening Opening show .
I actually arrived at 10:15 in the evening , as the corporate
Website of Cinema Guzzo, Lacoirdaire 16, clearly indicated the late showing was at 11:pm Friday , Nov 2/2018
I verified my ticket stub , the movie start was in fact at 11 pm.
I casually mentioned to the Usher ( he had inquired if I was attending
the English version- I was indeed), that I had plenty of time and would take a stroll.
The cashier had initially told me to go Hall 2,
the entrance Usher apologized , and informed me that I needed to go
Hall 15.
I presented myself at Hall 15, at 10:45, there was no line up,
only two other people were present .
I waited till 11 pm...the audience was not exiting. I entered the
Halle 15, and enjoyed , say half the movie . To my dismay the
movie was not reshown in its entirety at midnight.
I paid full price (13$), the establishment clearly had incorrect
website info. In addition there was no posted info at the Hall 15 entrance, merely a Movie Poster of the Band .... Queen.
The establishment, and theatre itself, including the toilet facilities was immaculate and
extremely comfortable .
My source of Frustration is , the only business of a movie operator, is
to show the movie at the correct posted time . On hand employees,
are there to assist patrons with correct and knowledgeable information .
There was only one cashier and one doorman usher, present on
Opening
night of a Large Scale movie release.
The Guzzo family initiated their vast operations , in the East End,
under the banner "Astre Cinema".
I am embarrassed for the Chain's gross incompetence, in
operating such a simple business .
I intend to send a registered letter to
management soon. In the unlikely event that I am not
recompensated in full, I will expand via , social media , my
negative critic of the Cinema Guzzo empire.
