DO NOT GO. Everything you’ve read in the other reviews is accurate. I remember when it first opened. It was a fun place. There were video games and bumper cars and a large food menu. Not any more. 3/4 of the video games don’t work, and those that do are glitching. But don’t worry, because the machine that sells tokens for the video games is out of order as well. It doesn’t look like the floors or the table surfaces in the food area have been cleaned in quite some time. And the bathrooms are dirty and gross. I don’t want to think about the last time they were cleaned. There’s clearly a climate issue in the building. We were warned before we bought our tickets that the heating wasn’t working. It was fine in the lobby but the theater could double as a refrigerator. From the other reviews I’ve read, this is a long time issue, and I can’t imagine what it must be like as we get deeper into the winter. No one seems to be in charge. Teenagers seem to be the only employees and there’s no point getting upset with them, since none of this is their fault. This was one of Guzzo’s first cinemas and they’ve clearly opted to not change - or fix - anything since it opened. I figure if we can’t shame Guzzo into cleaning this place up, maybe some provincial inspectors should have a look around. Although I suspect they already have, and that’s why most of the items on the menu aren’t available (like maybe they’re prohibited from serving hot food… or maybe the machines just don’t work?) I wouldn’t eat any of the food they serve here, anyway. Inside the theaters, there’s trash piled around the trash cans and the seats are dirty. The movie played fine, so if you can put up with the cold, I guess that’s OK.
