Pizzeria Giulietta Is Expanding Across Greater Montreal | Eater Montreal

"Opened a little over a year ago inside the St-Léonard Guzzo, the first Giulietta focuses on Neapolitan-style pizza in a sleek-but-casual setting; beyond pizza there are a few pasta options and Italian classics like osso bucco, and the menu features private import wines and Italian cocktails." - Tim Forster

Thé théâtre smelled. 95% of their arcades were out of order. No air hockey. I bowling, bumper cars, etc. They replaced all candy and chocolate favorites with their own Mr Sunshine brand. Bathrooms were dirty and smelled. The place is dated. I used to frequent this movie theatre in the late 90s. Seems like it hasn’t had a facelift since. Avoid at all costs.

Worst theatre in Montreal. There is no heating, almost none of the snacks or food advertised is available, few of their games are functioning and there isnt even any soap in the bathroom. I had an absolutely horrible time with my kids. This place is disgusting and dilapidated, stay away.

The two stars is because we went, bought the tickets, saw the movie with no problem... but man! the whole thing smells like urine! in the arcade area, most of the machines don't work but some will still take your money. The Packman handle bugs and the motion movie screen is just one big greenish blurry mess. It's not somewhere you go if you wanna have a nice time. But yeah, go watch a movie!

Can't use debit for your tickets, or to buy food inside. Half the arcade is broken (out of order) smells like a$$. Theater room was dirty and a sauna. (No ac). And the chairs omfg I need a chiropractor after 2 hrs on these busted excuses of a chair . Definitely not coming back again id rather drive 20 min further

DO NOT GO. Everything you’ve read in the other reviews is accurate. I remember when it first opened. It was a fun place. There were video games and bumper cars and a large food menu. Not any more. 3/4 of the video games don’t work, and those that do are glitching. But don’t worry, because the machine that sells tokens for the video games is out of order as well. It doesn’t look like the floors or the table surfaces in the food area have been cleaned in quite some time. And the bathrooms are dirty and gross. I don’t want to think about the last time they were cleaned. There’s clearly a climate issue in the building. We were warned before we bought our tickets that the heating wasn’t working. It was fine in the lobby but the theater could double as a refrigerator. From the other reviews I’ve read, this is a long time issue, and I can’t imagine what it must be like as we get deeper into the winter. No one seems to be in charge. Teenagers seem to be the only employees and there’s no point getting upset with them, since none of this is their fault. This was one of Guzzo’s first cinemas and they’ve clearly opted to not change - or fix - anything since it opened. I figure if we can’t shame Guzzo into cleaning this place up, maybe some provincial inspectors should have a look around. Although I suspect they already have, and that’s why most of the items on the menu aren’t available (like maybe they’re prohibited from serving hot food… or maybe the machines just don’t work?) I wouldn’t eat any of the food they serve here, anyway. Inside the theaters, there’s trash piled around the trash cans and the seats are dirty. The movie played fine, so if you can put up with the cold, I guess that’s OK.

Quite nice. Been going there for years now and I would say it’s had its ups and downs but it’s overall a nice place. An issue is whenever there’s a break or holiday. It’s to be expected but there are a lot of people and the limited amount of booths open prevent the crowds from flowing through seamlessly. Another issue is the bathroom. There’s definitely something that can be done about the stickiness of the floor, the extremely foul smell and most importantly, the broken stall doors. The theatre itself is cozy and comfortable. However, even though it might have something to do with the monetary issues Guzzo are facing, I feel that it’s important to mention that it was quite cold. It’s currently winter and the rooms were all surprisingly cold. That’s about it. Had great times! Edit: nostalgia really carried my opinion and made me feel like the experience was better than it actually was. The menu items are always never available, the trash cans at the entrance of projection rooms are always filled to the brim, which makes them overflow and allows trash to accumulate on the ground nearby. It can be difficult to pay because of their preference for cas. There’s not enough lighting in the theatre itself, which makes it easier to lose your friends or kids once a movie is over and everyone is leaving. There are no signs of any accommodations for the physically impaired and in our day and age this simply isn’t acceptable. It’s a nice place that holds dear memories for me, but for it to be able to create any more meaningful experiences for anyone it needs to change expeditiously.

A complete embarrassment, no heating at all. Cinema was freezing while watching Gladiator, I felt sorry for all the kids that went to watch Wicked. Hardly any available snacks. Bathrooms are always disgusting, carpets haven't been cleaned in decades. More than half the video games don't work, and that's been like that for years. I'd rather go downtown pay for parking and deal with traffic then be so disgusted by Guzzo theaters. Never again.

I didn’t think it was possible for a movie experience to be so bad. The popcorn was cold and stale, barely eadible. We got to our theatre room, it was pitch black, not even the emergency light were on, we had to get our phone out to get to a seat. It was nasty, they clearly didn’t clean betwen the movies. There was popcorn and trash everywhere and we had to walk around it in the dark. The room was got so cold we put our winter coats back on. There was a glare on the screen coming from the projector room. My friend went out and asked them if they could do something about it, but nothing happened. Someone came in to change the dumsper bag WHILE the movie was on. Honestly riddiculous, the management should be embarrased about how poorly they are running the place. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
