My Rome with Gabriele Muccino

"This beautiful, historic cinema with 300 seats is situated in the heart of Trastevere and is also home to a studio-cum-library that is open 24 hours a day, a bar, an outdoor terrace, and a space for exhibitions and events." - The MICHELIN Guide

This place is a vibe. Incredible selection of films to watch in their main theatre in comfy chairs. All movies are in original voice (VO). When I went on a Friday night, there were tons of people of all ages hanging out and using all of the different spaces available (theater, bar, stairs outside, coworking/study space). The cafe inside the theater is welcoming and has a wide selection of beverages and food. The food options are definitely limited with paninis and pastries. That’s where I think there could be some room to grow.

The space is great, I'd love to go back again for the cinema or working space BUT their coffee, an absolute joke! 3 guys behind the bar that don't seem to care much I've asked for a cafe latte, one of the guys pulls a coffee, pours cold milk on top and then asks me if I want it cold or warm - I say warm and then he proceeds to do what you can see in the video. Completely disgusting, the steamer wasn't even clean, coffee was splurging everywhere, needles to say a completely bad experience. I'd give it 1 star but don't want the cinema to suffer for the incompetent coffee staff

Trekking Rome in the 11th hour and stumbled upon this gem of center. Infinitely more than a cinema. Thank you Piccolo America.

Cozy atmospheric cinema, for movie lovers. Professional staff. There is also a good economic bar inside of a building. The only one flaw - not comfy seats, when all the time you have to watch behind people’s heads and keep the head up.

The study room is not spacious. To find a seat, you must be there early in the morning. And there is a very good bar next to the entrance. And the prices of it are relatively good.

Terrible experience with the staff and organization of this cinema! Yesterday, we purchased a ticket for the movie No More Trouble, and the seller assured us that it would be in English. However, when we entered the theater, we realized the movie was in Italian. We immediately went back to the seller, explained the issue, but he kept insisting that the movie was in English and only offered to exchange the ticket for another day. We returned today hoping to finally watch the movie, but this time, it was in German! This is completely unacceptable. We wasted our time and money due to the misinformation and incompetence of the staff. I strongly do not recommend this cinema. Please fix your organizational and communication issues!

It's a nice place but needs it needs more tables with plugs in their study rooms

I had a very disappointing experience. I purchased a ticket for a movie that was advertised as being in English, but it turned out to be in Italian. To make matters worse, I decided to give it another try and bought another ticket for a different movie. I was assured it would be in English, but it ended up being in German. This is completely unacceptable and misleading. I wasted both my time and money. Please ensure that language information is accurate in the future.
