The location is right by the water, making the atmosphere perfect. I recommend sitting on outside to maximize the atmosphere. Seating was very quick as we got here at 745am. It was already busy but amazing I recommend the moco loco as the main dish if you're hungry, it's the main breakfast of the Hawaiian. It's definitely recommended to only use white rice and always do the over easy eggs, this is the Hawaiian way and was also recommended by the bar tender! The fried pork were absolutely amazing, crispy and soft and not oily at all. The combination of running eggs, white rice and soy sauce with a hint of lemon citrus was the exact morning meal I needed because I was hungry! The mushroom omelette was solid. Not above nor below average omelette. Lastly we had the coffee with Kahlua and spicy rum and it was just the kick we needed to start our day.

Google
What a wonderful breakfast menu. I had the Hawaiian Omelet which has pork in it and some kind of leaves and it was so delicious. The Macadamia Nut Muffin was good but it needs more of the nuts in it. The service was great. We went early and did not have to wait for a table. The cinnamon roll has a touch of pineapple flavor in it which was different but good. We had to sample the Red Velvet Pancakes, yes they are delicious 😋

This place was also recommended by our luau friends (Deana and the Marine) and I'm so happy they told us about it. We were greeted and placed on the waiting list and it took a minute I mean to the point where I went up to confirm they had the right number but granted it was a lot of people waiting but still. Anyways the food and good service was worth the wait. Don't let the long line or wait deter your from eating here! I love breakfast and this was top tier. I wish they'd put my icing between each pancake but it was delicious!!! Potatoes cooked perfectly. Pancakes very silky soft fluffy and full of the flavor of the red velvet. I ordered my eggs cooked hard and the were sooo good, perfect with the cheese melted on top. It was expensive $70+ but the portion size was decent and I had leftovers for lunch! I would 100% recommend.

If you love pancakes then this place is a must try. Located on the ground floor of the llikai Hotel in the marina area, not far from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. No bookings taken so we put our names on the list at the door and waited around 30 minutes for our table to be called. They are a bit short staffed but the staff that are there work super-hard and are fantastic. The cornbeef hash with poached eggs is the best I’ve had - it’s one of my all time favourites! The country tots are delicious too. But it’s the pancakes that take the cake here - they are huge , thick and delicious. We had a 1/2 stack each (one buttermilk and one Guava Chiffon) but had trouble finishing it. They are really excellent and worth the visit alone! Filter coffee was great too, and is bottomless. Highly recommended!

Google
Our server (who's name I can't remember, but he was very tall) was fantastic. One of his other tables was a bit rude to him but he handled it with aplomb. We thought he was wonderful. The food was great. Our server recommended the crispy chicken sandwich to my boyfriend and he was very pleased. I got the homemade cinnamon roll and the garlic fries which were both very good.

Google
First of all, simply hard to bear going to a restaurant anywhere in Hawaii. Great food, good portions and great atmosphere. The view is amazing as you're near the water. Had the eggs Benedict and it was delicious. I opted for coffee but it was perfect. Came back and had the boneless ribs...flavor was on point..dish was so good. I was starving.

Google
Great island atmosphere in a covered outdoor setting. Friendly staff and our server was awesome. Good cocktails and food came out in timely manner. Meals are generous sizes with a range of options and reasonably priced. The ribs were tasty, but the veggies were very salty and the potato/Mac salad with olives was a weird combo for me.

Google
Overall 8.2/10, i will come back. Customer service was pretty mid, i was shown to my table and my order was taken, but nothing special. The guava juice was a 8.9/10 and the lemonade was a 7.5/10 for me, it was more on the tart side, so if you like that then get it.Our food came out extremely fast so props to the chef! Pancakes were a 9.4/10, absolutely delicious, tasted just like a cinnamon roll, but not to sweet. Very good with the butter. The omelet was a 7.5/10, pretty standard for an omelet, nothing special but still good. They had 2 musicians that sounded pretty good and some background music in between breaks. The worst part of this is the birds flying and walking around the Restaurant, which. They can only do so much about understandably. Best place for parking is lagoon beach parking lot, $2 for 2 hours. If your in the area, check this place out.

Yelp
We really went there to try the guava pancakes, and it did not disappoint. Everyone else in the group had loco moco, pancakes, omelettes and they were all good. Our waitress was great! Service was quick. It was crowded inside so we sat outside and despite it raining it was a beautiful view.

Shayla S.

Yelp
It's been years since I've been to Cinnamon's so when we wanted to do brunch and we knew exactly the place to go. Cinnamon's is located at the Ilikai Hotel however just know you have a few options for parking. You can park the paid parking lot in the back of the hotel, valet, or you can park by the lagoon in the free area. Just double check the time you park according to the signs. Menu consists of your typical breakfast items as well as specialty dishes such as their famous guava chiffon pancakes. My friends and I ordered their benedicts, pancakes, and their breakfast combo. The food was a bit disappointing and not quite like I remembered. The food was really salty and the corned beef hashed was spoiled. Our friend took one bite and said it tasted sour. She informed the waiter and he gave 50% off that dish on the final bill. Overall it's going to be a pass and would rather just go to their other location in Kailua if anything. Though the ambiance is a nice outdoor, looking over the harbor type of vibe, I just wished there wasn't so many flies and birds all around.

Wakaba S.

Yelp
It's an open air restaurant and located right by the marina. We went there for very late lunch and the place was moderately crowded. The waitress was nice, but it took long time for our drinks and food to arrive. We thought that'd be a quick lunch but ended up taking way longer than we anticipated. We had a hamburger and loco moco. They were okay. It wasn't bad but didn't meet our expectations, especially for the price.

Amanda J.

Yelp
We came here on the recommendation of a friend. And boy she was right !! The Guava Chiffon pancakes are the best thing I have eaten in my entire life. If I ever am In the situation that I have to choose my last meal on earth - it would be these Guava Chiffon pancakes. The people were nice and all the food was good We also had eggs Benedict that was way above average. The only problem was the wait. The restaurant wasn't very crowded but it took forever to get our food. I mean we were in Hawaii outside enjoying the beautiful weather that you don't get anywhere else, and we had no place to be, but still it was a long wait. I dream about these pancakes and can't wait until I get to go back. If you are in Honolulu- you have to go here. Order one order for yourself. Don't share.

Victoria L.

Yelp
Server was super nice and knew the menu really well. The menu had something for everyone! The portions were big and the food came out super quick after we ordered! We arrived early for breakfast so no wait, but by 8 am, the restaurant was packed! The pancakes were great, the Benedict's was good, not great. We would still come back though, overall great experience!

Cekarri N.

Yelp
We were in Hawaii over Christmas and wanted a tasty breakfast. Cinnamon's was really good! I love a Portuguese sausage and the pineapple was super sweet! Any place with well seasoned tots is great to me and they have some well seasoned tots. The star of the table was the short rib! Highly recommend. The pancakes were solid and eggs were eggs! The open air ambiance was nice and very Hawaii when you're on vacation! The people were also very kind and attentive:)

Trevor M.

Yelp
If you're staying in Waikiki, this restaurant is a great place to stop by for a hearty meal! Their guava pancakes and red velvet pancakes are ginormous. Very sweet and they come with a lot of syrup, but still tasty. I always share these. Any variation of their eggs Benedict has been a hit with me and the people I've gone with! There tends to be a bit of a wait for larger parties, so make sure you have plenty of time set aside. You have a nice view of the marina or the hotel grounds, and sometimes birds may come into the restaurant since it's open air.

Nicole T.

Yelp
This place was so fun for our first night in Waikiki! Located on the first floor of the Ilikai hotel, it's nearby the free hula on fridays, and the Waikiki Hilton fireworks show. Menu; - great selection from burgers, to salads, to meat and rice dishes - prices range from $17+ - lots of appetizers to pick from - great cocktail menu - sometimes there will be women selling leis as well Service: - you can hear the live music on some days as its right by the court yard where this is playing - you cant see the fireworks from the restaurant, but it is a 2 minute walk from a viewing spot

Betsy B.

Yelp
I had the Hawaiian mai tai which was really good. For dinner I had the mahi sandwich which was macadamia crusted. The piece of fish was small but the taste was good. The fries were cooked nice. The service was slow as took quite awhile to be waited on. There was live music that ranged from Hawaiian, country and Christmas songs. The outdoor seating is pleasant with a view of the marina

Yelp
A M A Z I N G! WOW. We came here on the recommendation of a friend who's local and it was one of the best meals of our trip! We tried everything on the menu from the crab Benedict (so fresh), do moe moe moco (so big and filling), lechon moco (the BEST lechon I've ever had), and the omlette. There was not a single thing we didn't like. We also go some sides of bacon and it was some of the best bacon I've ever had too!! Even the drinks (Bloody Mary, guava juice, mimosas) were perfect. We originally started as a group of 3, but then more people kept wanting to come so we ended up with 7 people by the end and had to switch tables. The staff was so kind and accommodating for all the changes and the service was prompt and friendly. I will definitely make sure to come back here the next time I'm here!

Christine K.

Yelp
Free validation at the hotel but next time we'll just go to the original location.l when we go visit lanikai beach. Its one of our favorite. The view was of a dock which is fine. There were some flies. Coffee wasnt too good and the omelette didnt seem worth it. Sticking with the pancakes and benes for now.

Rebecca T.

Yelp
Finally we got to try their guava pancakes! They're pretty good. I think my husband liked them more than I did. I think the sauce was a bit too much for me. Their loco moco and Benny were pretty good too. I'd say they tasted decent but they weren't mind blowing. I like the ambiance. It's very relaxing to sit outside. The bushes kinda blocked the harbor view, but it's still a nice ambiance. Our server was very friendly and nice. We love their service here.

Tran L.

Yelp
Cinnamon's is connected to the Ilikai hotel. It is such a fun area and great spot for taking photos. While you wait for your table you can walk around or even stop by the beach. We had so much fun around here. The food was wonderful and my family really enjoyed everything. Our waitress was very friendly as well. Perfect breakfast brunch for families and groups.

Magi H.

Yelp
Super cute outdoor restaurant. We went around 11:30a and got a table really quick. The hosts weren't too friendly, lacked great and warm customer service. Waiter was quick to greet us and give us menus. He lacked warm customer service too but he was quick and attentive. The food was great! My omelette had a decent amount of fillings and it was huge! I only ate half. The guava pancakes were the main reason why I wanted to try here and it was good! Definitely would come back and try the other specialty pancakes. Valet parking with validation came out to $1 an hour, so I can't complain about that!

Milton K.

Yelp
Wow! Wow! Wow! That was delicious!!! The Kal-bi Short Ribs Loco Moco at Cinnamon's at the Ilikai was as locals say, broke da mouth! Onolicious! It's better than a Lobster Eggs Benedict. It was so tasty that I wanted to come back next weekend. They were also other loco moco dishes that I would also like to try, like Lechon Kawali Loco Moco. My wife's Guava Chiffon Pancakes were light and tasty. We are definitely coming back on a regular basis. Overall: ***** Highly recommended! Food: ***** Value: **** Menu: **** Ambiance: ***** Service: **** Parking: **** $1.00/hour at marina RATINGS & RECOMMENDED ORDER: Kal-bi Short Ribs Loco Moco = A+ Guava Chiffon Pancakes = A Corned Beef Hash & Eggs = B (more to come) Website: http://cinnamonswaikiki.com/ Yelp: https://yelp.to/BOMWQtFnbZ RATINGS KEY: A = Really Good - one of the best B = Good - would order again C = ok - similar, nothing special D = Not very good - wouldn't order F = Terrible - avoid

Susan J.

Yelp
My party of two sat at the bar to avoid a 20 minute wait for a table. Dining was outdoors. Birds are fearless. Bartender Koa was knowledgeable about the menu and local spots. We shared/ordered eggs, Portuguese sausage, guava pancakes, a side of potatoes and a Bloody Mary. Guava pancakes were fluffy and not too sweet (way to much to eat).

Leizelle S.

Yelp
I've been to Cinnamon's in Kailua a hand full of times. This would be my first time at the Ilikai. You can find your own parking, but Valet is way more convenient. Paid only $2 for 2/3 hours with validation. I went on a Monday for a late lunch. My party of 4 was seated quickly, no wait at all. We were seated outside, right at the entrance. Our table, menus, and condiment caddy was a bit sticky... which was weird. Decor was nice and simple. Decent views. It was a little windy that day, but the plants blocked the wind from coming in. We were greeted by our server a few minutes later. He seemed polite. But throughout our stay, we got less and less attention. No water refills, got checked on once and the other times we had to get his attention. Our server was putting more effort towards the bigger table. I noticed that the other 2 tables with a smaller party didn't get that much acknowledgment as well. Our drinks took way too long, for something so simple. We even canceled our second order of stuffed mushrooms because the wait was not worth it. Especially when the first order came out rather quickly. While we were still eating, and waiting on some dishes and drinks the bill was left at our table. I found that odd and I felt rushed. Also, we saw our server put one of our order on the side, out in the open, to take pictures of the bigger table. When he could've just delivered the food first. Anyway... House made Ginger Ale(Virgin)- Nice ginger taste, but it was flat and watered down. Not worth it. Jack and Coke- Watered down. Stuffed mushrooms- 4 pieces of mushrooms on a bed of spinach. Perfectly cooked mushrooms. Tastes like Parmesan chicken. Steak and Eggs- Cooked to a perfect medium but it lacked flavor. Lilikoi Pancake- Soft Pancakes drenched in syrup/sauce. It's mouthwatering if you have a sweet tooth. Kalbi Loco Moco(without eggs)- Kalbi was tasty and tender. Mac Salad was sub par. Crab Cake and Eggs- Delicious and fried perfectly. Pretty filling. I was dissatisfied and disappointed by this experience. There was a lack of Aloha at this location. I would rather take a drive out to Kailua.

Raeann Y.

Yelp
I have not been to this location in ages but met up with family that was visiting from the mainland. I was excited to come here because they usually decorate this place to the nines for the holiday season but it wasn't as elaborate as past years. Either way, it was still pretty nice with a few Christmas trees and some other festive decorations. We came here on Christmas Eve so I was kinda nervous that it would be packed but honestly it wasn't too bad at all. Only a few tables taken before we were seated. We had an amazing server he was super attentive and friendly. Stopped by every once in a while to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was fast as usual, tasted wonderful and we had lots of leftovers! Don't forget to validate, valet parking only I believe.

Brian H.

Yelp
Great staff. Nice bartender and server. They were prompt and friendly. I like this bar and restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere and ambiance. Excellent food and drinks. Breakfast was delicious. Had the guava pancakes and Portuguese sausage. Their Mai Tais are really good. I recommend cinnamons for their breakfast.

Lauren Y.

Yelp
Cinnamons is the cutest restaurant in the courtyard shared by Ilikai and the Modern Honolulu. We came around 8:30am and were able to be seated right away (although bigger parties definitely had a wait). We got the corned beef hash plate w/guava pancakes (upgraded from classic buttermilk) and the kalua pig loco moco. The corned beef hash was super delicious, soft, and crispy, and the guava pancakes were the STAR of the show! I'm normally not a pancake girl but these were soft, fluffy and drenched in delicious sweet guava sauce. My boyfriend loved his loco moco and all the fun Hawaiian accoutrements it came with including the Mac salad, carrots, and tea leaf wrapped kalua pork. Will definitely come back!!

Kate M.

Yelp
We recommend getting there early! The line starts forming before you know it. The team moves customers in and out quickly, so we didn't wait too long. The open patio seating is perfect for breakfast in paradise. Rob was our server during our visit. He made quick work of taking care of our table. The coffee is rich and piping hot! Definitely get a cinnamon roll while you wait for your meal. They're as large as the plate and enough to share. The portions are hearty and reasonably priced for what you get. We had to leave a few bites behind!

Marsha T.

Yelp
It's been two years since I've visited Cinnamon's and I still think about the Guava Chiffon Pancakes... I was only able to eat half of it, but you can be certain that I took the rest home and finished it. The Mango Chiffon Pancakes were too sweet for me though. Service was wonderful and coffee refills were plentiful. We sat facing the beautiful harbor. Highly recommend!

Marilyn D.

Yelp
Coming to cinnamons is always a must for us. This location conveniently located in Waikiki. Great ocean and harbor views. This is open air dining and highly recommend for breakfast. How about a pineapple or guava mimosa? So refreshing and enjoyable with the great views. Service was a bit slow but our gal was working hard, so we just sat back and enjoyed our meal. The options of Benedict's are plenty, my Kahlua pork also had sweet potato and was truly yummy. We did not order pancakes this time but definitely recommend you try one of the islands favorites Guava!

Niloufar G.

Yelp
Excellent SWEET breakfast. Come here for breakfast and get the cinnamon roll pancake or guava pancakes (they are known for but I didn't order since I don't like guava), and the tropical French toast! Warning! Both are super sweet but so good! You may want to share haha. The ambience is very nice and quiet and seating is outside but is covered. We came July 3, at 7:45am (they open at 7am) and didn't wait at all for a table. But later as we left around 9, a line was formed. It's walking distance from the Hilton Hawaiian village, so it's easy to get to. So if you are in Waikiki beach this is a must try!

Crystal L.

Yelp
Pretty much like the original location! Less wait. Does feel touristy as it in a hotel in Waikiki, but food was like the original location. Waited for our food and watched dirty pigeons walking on nearby tables, wondering how many pigeons walked on our table before we were seated lol Got the Kalua Pork Benedict, love that they put sweet potato. Tots were hard but still edible. Also got the red velvet (2) pancakes, the guava ones looked good too Seemed like there was only 1 server around 2 pm Parked by the pier, $1/hr

Catalina J.

Yelp
10/10 highly recommend! We were seated instantly and had beautiful views from our table!!! The drinks were incredible and the service was amazing our server was so accommodating and caring. There is plenty of indoor/outdoor seating and a good amount of drink options and food options. I love a good meal with a beautiful view. Everyone loved their dishes and there were no complaints. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and soft to the bite, seasoned nicely and not overly salty. The French toast was served with a nice amount of butter and topped with some powdered sugar. The rice was cooked perfectly as well as the eggs!! The Mac salad was perfect as well. If you are looking for a good meal with the family or a great date, this is the place. Mahalo for the kind hospitality

Ariane M.

Yelp
I was so happy to be staying right next to the Ilikai and that this place was steps away from my hotel. If you're looking for a great breakfast/brunch spot, this is it! The food and service are amazing! It's a pretty big restaurant that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. I will definitely be returning whenever I return to Oahu.

Rae Lynn Z.

Yelp
I ate here twice with friends while in HI for a conference. The service was great and the live singer provided a fun musical background for the meals. They make their own ginger ale, so I had to try it in their gingerita. While the drink was delicious, the presentation was completely different the two days I was there. The food was hit or miss as well. Both of my meals were really good, BBQ Kalua Pig Nachos one day and the Pupu Kal-bi the next. One friend had the Mahi Sandwich and loved it, one friend had the Nut-crusted Mahi Plate and the fish was way over cooked, the last friend had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and it was over cooked and dry. I would go back for drinks and the music.

Yelp
*Not me booking a trip to Honolulu just to eat at Cinnamon's* . We used to stop by Cinnamon's Las Vegas ALL THE TIME before they unfortunately shut down due to the pandemic-- I guess that's my new excuse to visit Honolulu much more often !! We decided to dine in for brunch at Cinnamon's at the Illikai location because it was a short walk from our airbnb . We arrived early around 820am and were seated right away-- (id advised you to do the same because on our way out there were plenty of patrons waiting around for a table and they looked hangry lol) . The views, atomosphere, and customer service was great ! Shout-out to Kyle for being our kind server and for all his aloha . Here's what we ate-- The one thing you have to order is their eggs benedict-- by far my favorite thing on the menu . Love that they also let you split between two different proteins if you can't make up your mind (like me lol) . We got the KALUA PORK AND CRAB CAKE BENNEDICT with home fries . We usually always order the TOTS for the side because they're highly crispy, flavorful, and addicting-- but today, we wanted to try something new . The KALUA BENNY was just as I remembered-- slow-cooked to perfection, salty, melts in your mouth, and pairs so well with the purple sweet potato that balances out all the flavors . The CRAB CAKE BENNY was also just as delicious . The cake was seared beautifully crisp on the exterior and not too much fillers . You can actually taste and lump crab and shrimp ! Home fries were okay-- if youre a fan of potatoes like my hubby-- you'd love them, but I definitely prefer the tots . Hollandaise sauce was thick, creamy, and sooo too tasty ! If you don't know what to order, start here ! THE SIGNATURE HAMBURGER LOCO MOCO is to die for . It's literally a hug in a bowl . I got mine with the extra add-on of mushrooms and onions cause I'm a fatty, I mean foodie**-- do it, so worth it . My hamburger patty was a little over well-done for my liking, but other than that-- it was still a fantastic bite . The white rice was warm and soft . The gravy was rich, flavorful, and the star of the show . The Mac salad is a little on the sweeter side-- I'm not used to this as the Hawaiian Mac salads in San Diego lean towards more savory . I asked for my eggs sunny side because I love a good yolk pop for the foodie in me . This would be a perfect bite to get if youre hungover or want something to share with another person-- a classic . My parents got the PHOENIX BEFF LOCO MOCO which is a Schezwan-style crispy beef with peppers, mushrooms, onions & jalapenos . Im the one who told them they should order this because they didn't know what to get AND because I secretly wanted a bite... but by the time I got around to asking for a bite, my dad had finished every last bit . Im guessing it was ONOLICIOUS lol . RED VELVET PANCAKES . They were thick, fluffy, and SWEET ! The glaze was theee honorable mention here . It reminded me of cake more than it did pancakes . This definitely gave me dessert vibes-- id recommend sharing these ! Next time, I need to try the guava chiffon pancakes . THE PUMPKIN CREAM CHEESE STUFED FRENCH TOAST was sooo heavenly . I believe the pumpkin is a seasonal thing-- but it should be year long lol . The French toast was cooked perfectly -- they were HUGE and sooo soft on the inside. The cream cheese glaze was sweet and complimented the pumpkin spice flavor immaculately . This is another dish id recommend sharing if youre not really a big fan of dessert for breakfast ! Overall, everything was too tasty and well worth the brunch . Surprisingly, for being at such a nice hotel, the bill wasn't as hefty as I thought . The portions are also HUGE ! Id definitely recommend to anyone looking for a yummy brunch spot on the island !! As always, ill be back (:

Yelp
Came on a Friday morning and there was already a couple of tables already seated. We ordered the loco moco, kuala pork Benedict, and the guava chiffon pancakes, the food was pretty great and lots of flavor. There was a huge portion for each of the plates and my Benedict came with so many tater tots that I couldn't eat them all! There's a great view and relaxing atmosphere as the entire restaurant is patio style. The service was a tad slow and took quite some time to get our food and had to ask for water refills several times. Would definitely recommend coming for brunch if you're visiting the area.

Richard J.

Yelp
First time here and will be back! There was a little wait right at opening for two but glad we got there right after opening since the line formed quick. Service was great! Food was great and just what we wanted. Loved that there was different variations of the loco moco. Really enjoyed the crispy pork belly, fresh tomato/onions that was slightly sautéed and good amount of vinegar to cut through the fat. Macaroni salad was solid, I typically do not like Kalamata olives though. Moe Moe was really tasty as well. Portions are big and definitely had to take leftovers

Jazlene T.

Yelp
There was a wait for Sunday brunch. Typical. We wrote our names down and waited for a text back to indicate when our table would be ready soon but it took over an hour! Apparently they had texted us earlier, yet we weren't notified until we came up to the hostess. She claimed to have texted us a while back. Anyways, there's plenty of seating in the back despite the outdoor area. The food was good but not enough to wait almost an hour for a seating arrangement. There was plenty of empty seats & tables that we could've sat in but I'll give it to them for being busy. Expect a long wait. My family got different dishes ranging from House style fries, omelette, bulgogi, lechon kawali. I think the group's favorite was the Kawali because of the crisp. Next time, I wanna come back & try the guava chiffon pancakes!

Tatiana B.

Yelp
The waitress was absolutely sweet in while serving us. She was attentive to every need. It was quiet during breakfast which we prefer and the food came out quickly. The Benedict was tasty. The French toast was thick. The tea was hot.

Cathee C.

Yelp
I had such high hopes for Cinnamon's as the menu looked amazing! Unfortunately most of the dishes we ordered fell short. The lechon kawali loco moco was ALL rice. I love rice but gosh dang, nobody needs that much rice! The lechon was also dry, tough, and chewy. The mahi mahi eggs Benedict was not fresh. The fish tasted like frozen fish sticks from a bad cafeteria. The only delicious item was their famous guava pancakes. Very moist and fluffy with a guava cheesecake flavor. Service from here was the worst that we received on the island. Being located at a resort with all these families, none of the servers knew how to accommodate our toddler or just how to perform basic table service. We had to ask for simple waters, utensils, and a bowl/plate for our son. Like she literally didn't provide us with anything, just a "know it all" attitude. For the price, great location, and popularity of the restaurant, I expected so much more. I don't recommend coming here as there's plenty other places on the island for better food and better service.

Yelp
I'm a big potato fan and usually tater tots falls to the bottom of my list because they're usually soggy quick or just not as crispy-- these are AMAZING. No matter what, get the tater tots as your side if you're a fan of anything crispy and perfectly fried. We also got the Kalua Pork Eggs Benedict with them and they were something different and generously portioned with meat. Pistachio pancakes short stack were also really good and just a tad too sweet for us but loved the cream cheese flavor in the frosting! Overall great service, somewhat easy to locate and nearby a Dave's Ice Cream/nice area to walk around in, short wait even on a weekend, and fairly priced parking (we parked at the marina and walked over). Will def be back next time we're in Oahu!

Yelp
Actually went here twice on our trip because of the proximity as well as tasty pancakes and views! Large portions and it's mostly outdoor seating so enjoy the Hawaiian breeze! Definitely recommend the pistachio and guava pancakes. We shared the loco moco among 4 adult. They had a chicken bowl special that was really tasty too and felt a bit lighter. Service was a little slow but everyone just needs to relax on vacation anyways. Chill ambiance and it is located by the hotel but open to the public. Highly recommend!

Yelp
It's been a hot minute since I've had breakfast here. Service is still great. And I'd much rather sit inside than outside to avoid the birds since a bird landed on my head. These birds are vicious. Other than that horrible incident, the food was superb, dreamy, and absolutely tasty.

Yelp
Local friends took me here for lunch. It's located inside the hotel, therefore we valet parked. Nice treat because this is where the iconic balcony shot in Hawaii 5-0 took place. It was a 30 minute wait which was fine, I was on vacation. Got seated right about 30 minutes. Gabe was are server, he was friendly and attentive. Food took longer than expected, but Gabe was calm and let us know. Even gave us two complementary ripe papaya plate to hold us over while we wait for our food. This was probably the biggest delight of the meal. Nice and fresh papaya fruit. Not sure what the hold up was. But, because I had great company, time flew. Plus, I was on island time. We did noticed other servers apologizing to other guest for the delay. I only took a picture of my meal: I had the Lechon Kawali. It's basically a Filipino dish. It's suppose to be crispy and mine was not. Flavor was good. Notes from my two friends meals: 1) One had traditional Bacon & Eggs breakfast. The bacon was super greasy (I could se the oil from where I was seated). The sourdough breads which was a side order was extremely super hard. It's wasn't burnt, it's like having bread the next day and you wanted to re-toast it. He only ate 1 of of the 4 slices. 2) the salmon Benedict was on the salty side. He liked the Tater Tots. Overall, we had high hopes. Maybe it was an off day during my visit. 3 stars for the over visit. I still tipped 20% for those who's curious. I'm sure I'll be back when I return to the island at another time in the future.. For now, onward to other local businesses to explore and experience more local cuisine.

Yelp
Celebrated my father in laws birthday at Cinnamons and it was such a great experience! Luckily they were able to accommodate all 13 of us! The staff was super friendly, and Jude made sure that we were taken care of the entire time. I got the Hawaiian plate and it was such a big portion-- definitely worth it. The poke bowl was super fresh, the burgers were good, and the steak and shrimp was cooked perfectly. They also gave us complimentary red velvet pancakes and a cinnamon roll birthday "cake". The outdoor seating is so nice and cozy, the vibe is just right with the music as well. Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Such a shame this place closed "indefinitely". It was one of our favorite breakfast spots in Waikiki and we made several friends with the amazing staff. We hope they resurface somewhere in Waikiki.

Yelp
The 5-star is mostly due to the top notch service from our server, Melissa. She was friendly, accommodating, and quick with it! She reminds me of my aunties and would probably be a lot of fun to hang out with. Heh! Although we come to Hawaii every year and mostly stay at the Ilikai, this was the first time we actually ate at Cinnamon's. We were seated in the back room which had nice sunlight. It was perfect seating for us especially traveling with a 4-month-old. We arrived around 8am, and we only waited 15-mins or so. We ordered the short rib loco moco-style which was yummy good! The short rib was flavorful and not fatty. It was mostly all meat. The potato-mac salad was just all right, a bit on the sweeter side. The food was plentiful and was enough for my wife and I. The cinnamon roll pancake was sooooo good! I'm usually not a pancake person, but this was too damn good! The cinnamon swirl was crispy and so sweet. Next time, we'd prob ask for the cream sauce on the side. We also ordered two drinks, a Bloody Mary and the cucumber drink. The Bloody Mary was a bit on the salty side but the fixings made up for it. My cucumber vodka drink was refreshing. I ordered it without the elder flower liqueur, and I didn't miss it at all. We'll def be back and try their breakfast and another pancake next time! Thanks again Melissa for the superb service! You made our first visit to Cinnamon's amazing!

Yelp
Foods is not bad, not exactly a WOW factor- but decent enough. We ordered lunch but saw the pancakes - they're pretty tall. The servings are pretty big- so if you're planning to share, this is one of the places you can. I had the Hawaiian platter and I had leftovers for dinner. I asked for all salad, no rice, side of veg. I was given rice and no veg . Hmmm.. Hamburger- the meat was differently prepared than your normal all American burger.. husband didn't love it. Price is high Service is average, and hit and miss on the order. Location- great view of the docks My pet peeve- I really don't like to fight sea birds for my food I paid for.. it's really annoying.. wish they have a screen.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast on a Wednesday morning. This restaurant is located at the Ilikai Hotel and opens at 7am. It was still pretty early so we got seated right away. We ordered a LOT of food: hamburger loco moco, guava chiffon pancakes (only at Ilikai!), and a variety of omelets. The food was delicious!!! The loco moco was super savory and was perfect. The pancakes were bomb!! Never had guava pancakes, but I'm glad I tried it here! I would've given the restaurant 5 stars, but we kinda got played with our seating. We wanted to sit next to the windows to get better views of the ocean, but we were told that no server was working that section, which is fine. However, 2 minutes later, another group was seated at the table we wanted.

Yelp
Loved this place! They're generous portions so you can expect a nap after this meal :). We ordered the much talked about guava chiffon pancakes. They taste more like strawberry but besides that they're truly excellent. Soft and fluffy, just perfect. I got the loco moco for my main and subbed the rice option with fried rice. Flavorful and decadent, definitely recommend if you want a hearty meal. Service was an interesting mix of attentive yet uncaring. When we could get our waiter it was fine but we had to chase down staff for things as simple as napkins and knives.

Yelp
I haven't been to Cinnamon's in decades and needed to check out this Ilikai hotel location because I was reminiscing about guava pancake brunches... I got my fix! I only wanted a little bit of sweet as I'm a savory breakfast person so our server recommended I order the 2 Egg breakfast and sub a short stack for the starch. Easy decision! We also ordered the Tropical Stuffed French Toast. It was delicious but it technically was not stuffed. The cream cheese filling was just layered between the slices of french toast. There was too much compote for our taste. Got too syrupy sweet. The Keoki coffee was refreshing but it's too small for an iced coffee drink IMO :p The view from our table was really beautiful with the yachts in the background against bright blue water and sky. Perfect brunch location!

Yelp
Cinnamon's was really yummy! We walked here in the morning after hiking Diamondhead and grabbing lattes on our way. We were hungry and I'd told my son that Cinnamon's has really yummy pancakes. This is a second location and not their original but I still had high hopes for them. Service was friendly but a bit slow. My guava mimosa was super yummy and my chiffon guava pancakes were delish! I was on a serious guava kick during this trip to Oahu. My son had pancakes, ham and eggs and I tried his ham it was soooooo good! He had a coffee and liked it a lot more than the peaberry pour over at Honolulu Coffee, said it was more his style ;) Great spot for a tasty brekke!

Yelp
My husband and I were on our honeymoon a few weeks ago and we stayed at the condos next door. We didn't know exactly where to go at first for our first breakfast meal in Waikiki, so we just went with what was the closest to us. We decided to try Ilikai. It was one of the best decision we made on that trip. We ended up having breakfast/brunch there every single day of the trip and we do t regret it one bit! The staff was friendly and we just loved the energy there. We highly recommend the guava chiffon pancake and the classic loco moco. There aren't enough words to describe how we feel about these two dishes. Yummmmmmmmmyyyy!
