Cira Green

Every city needs a Cira Green. This free public park is on top of a parking garage near the river. Clear signs point you to the elevator to the 11th floor. Soon you’ll be on the rooftop with seating and grassy areas to picnic. There are clean restrooms.

Nice area to see the city. Small field of grass to lay on. Definitely empty when it's cold out.

Cira Green is an awesome parking garage top park, with a screen playing whatever’s on that they can play. Something to prepare for is that the view is nice, but there’s generally several groups of people taking 30 minute to hour long photos shoots that really takes away from the experience of being there. Not much you can do about that. Also another thing to note is that they do not have Apple TV. I wanted to watch a Phillies game that was on and instead they were playing a children’s softball tournament, when I asked about changing I was told that since the Phillies game was on Apple TV and they don’t have that, they couldn’t play it. You’d think it would be worth the $10/month.

Chill vibe, with great views. Location does have restrooms and a small restaurant that has no indoor seating. It does have a small dog park in the center of the grounds. We got some standard beers and a cocktails (pretty good taste). Prices were on the high end as expected, though not completely out of this world. Overall, I do recommend a visit for the views alone.

This is a somewhat hidden gem in West Philadelphia. 12 floors up on top of a parking garage, you'll find about 32,000 sq feet of lush lawn, beautiful plantings, some concrete, a covered picnic are with tables, lots of sunshine, smiling faces, and views for days. There's also a café that serves picnic food: hamburgers, veggie burgers, hotdogs, chicken tenders and sandwiches, yummy crinkle cut fries, soft drinks and a couple of premixed cocktails and one frozen one. You should go. It's a great little city park!!!

Family friendly. We came here for movie night! So cool they have these events in the summer. There are still plenty of movies left to watch in the next few weeks. The view is amazing and it's relaxing. They sell food and sell beer. You can also bring your own food and drink. The movie screen is huge and the sound system is nice. The only downfall is that they had a tent up and it obstructed your view from most of the seating areas so you were only left sitting on the slopes which could be nice but also could be uncomfortable for some. Either way we made the best of it. I hope they take the tent down. Definitely worth checking out.

Beautiful hidden gem in university city, looking to chill lay back? Cheap first date? maybe read?( if u don't mind background music) no drama, cheap food, and beautiful view of the city, they also show movies on their humongous TV screen, at certain times they show movies.. it's an all around great spot
