The Best Bottomless Brunch Deals In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If you want to feel like a rich tourist, have your Sunday brunch by the pool at The Beverly Hilton. The food isn’t offensive for the price you’re paying, and you’ll have fun watching people on vacation get very drunk. Deal: $85 champagne prix-fixe brunch with bottomless mimosas. Weekends 11-3pm." - brant cox, nikko duren

Circa 55 Review - Beverly Hills - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Circa 55 is the Beverly Hilton's poolside restaurant, with one reason to go if you're not staying at the hotel: their Sunday bottomless brunch buffet. For $45 per person, you get to eat as many made to order omelettes and drink as much prosecco as you can. It's expensive, but that's the price you pay to sit by a pool and watch tourists get drunk." - Amy Clark

Great burger and tuna app. Service was impeccable. Views are nice but construction next door makes the view a little less desirable.

My girlfriends and I had a staycation at the hotel for one of our birthdays. This review is specifically for circa 55 but I also wanted to add how lovely and beautiful the room was and overall how fantastic the customer service is. They truly are a luxury hotel all around, and I genuinely cannot wait to stay there again! Vim was our server and couldn’t do enough for us. They all treated us likes Queens. Again, the customer service and attention to detail was 10/10 just fabulous. They had a saxophone player who was doing live music, he ended up singing happy birthday to my friend and then we all got up and danced with him inside. He even had maracas for us to shake. One of the funnest / funniest things to ever happen to me. We got the $55 meal and you get a caviar thingy, an appetizer, sorbet to cleanse your palate, a main and a dessert. The steak was phenomenal everything else was very good. I loved my experience here and for $55 you can’t beat it! You can also add a bottle of wine for $25. Thank you to Vim and the entire staff for making it such a special experience for us!!!

Everyone is very accommodating. I want to call out two people. GIA is one of the hostesses. She goes above and beyond. She is wonderful. Julie is an excellent bartender with a great personality and wonderful as well. I enjoyed them both. The food is good too.

11/30/2023 The CIRCA 55 is situated inside the Beverly Hilton that was broken ground  in 1953 and open to the public in 1955. The ambience is excellent. The Golden Globe Awards ceremony was held at the hotel year over year since 1961. The Veranda is not perfect. For example, It has been using a wrong cup for cappuccinos that ruined the taste. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed a cup of cappuccinos made by a new specialty coffee machine at one Marriott namesake hotel last night. One glass of Moet & Chanson Imperial Brut Champagne costs $32, plus tax and tip. It is not for most patrons to visit. Also, the appetizer missed a sauce cup. I decided not to ask.

Me and a few friends bought a travel zoo coupon for brunch and came here on a rainy Saturday afternoon. I can only say that this was one of THE BEST brunches I’ve ever had. Even without the coupon I think this place is worth every penny. The breakfast buffet included and omelet station with small, fresh, waffle maker, scrambled cheesy eggs with ham, bacon, sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, vegetable medley, SO MANY PASTRIES, smoked salmon station with all the fixins, fruit, CRAB, shrimp, fried chicken and waffles, fries, chicken fingers and a cute dessert bar. Plus brunch comes with bottomless mimosas and Alfredo knows how to make the perfect mimosa with just a splash of OJ. My friends and I had one of the best days in BH and we would come back here in a heart beat.

We had breakfast at the Circa 55. They have hot and cold choices of buffet ($22 for cold). They also have a la carte choices. The seating area has a number of different options to sit, including seating on the patio next to the pool. There are many choices at the buffet that should suit all types of eaters. The granola, bagel, and fruit were our choices. Service is prompt and attentive.

Yelp
Food was good. I got double beef kabob but they messed it up and brought me chicken (thighs) on skewer instead of beef. The lamb and chicken I didn't care for. He offered to switch mine out but I was hungry. We ended up throwing out the chicken. My daughter got the filet medium and she got a red center. She ate around it. The steak skewer was the better option. Truffle fries were very good. There's a nice view but outside was a bit chilly. The breads laffa is delicious. Breakfast was good. The breakfast potatoes were smashed whole small potatoes variety. They use a little chili flakes on everything. The avocado toast was yummy with surprise yellow beets on them. The juices are bottled! I didn't care for them. Orange juice is made there. Dress business nice or you'll be seated outdoors.

Yelp
Not sure if I was going 3 stars or 4 on this one. The service was really good and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The view from the roof top was great and nice to sit and look outside. But at end of day the food is what counts and this was just ok. At $100 a person I really want it better than ok. The kabobs were good but not great the little Israel salad that comes with it was soggy, the crispy tuna was over cooked to the point it was hard. The meat on the kabobs was cooked well but the lamb was ground lamb with too much seasoning. Like I said overall good but not great.

Yelp
Seriously a hidden gem. Went for my dad's birthday and our server was phenomenal! Super attentive, friendly, and hilarious! He made sure to check on us often and made sure my dad was enjoying his birthday. But overall the entire staff was a pleasure. The food was soo delicious. My tequila chicken was cooked perfectly and my dad loved his steak and shrimp kebabs! The ambience was beautifully set. We did sit inside due to the cold and it was still a delightful experience. There were only 5 tables total when we went but this place deserves to be a full house for their amazing services. 10/10! We can't wait to return!

Yelp
every time I come to the roof for lunch I know two things for sure. the views are going to be immaculate and the restaurant is going to be beautiful inside and the staff is going to be 10/10! for lunch today I had a cobb salad I chose to get it with the house mustard dressing it was great for me because I want too hungry. to wash it down we had vodka gimlets that were INCREDIBLE. my friends had the burger and lobster roll which all came with fries that were all great. I love this place

Yelp
Very nice rooftop bar/restaurant with a gorgeous mural behind the bar that had bees covered up when Merv Griffin bought the hotel from Conrad Hilton back in the day. Fast forward and Hilton requires the property, renovates and discovered the long covered mural depicting Greek Gods and astrological figures. Apparently Merv Griffin thought they were satanical or something like that. The staff is friendly and attentive, great cocktails and a nice view.

Yelp
This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have ever had. I did brunch at Circa55 and I've never felt more robbed. * We had a reservation for 3 at 10:30 AM. At 9:50 AM, we received a call moving our reservation to 11 AM telling us they do not do 10:30 am reservations. We were already on our way. We live in the valley. * We arrived to a very makeshift buffet, with the smallest selection you can imagine. I have visited this brunch many times and it was amazing... turns out that because it was Mother's Day, they doubled up the price from $70 per person to $155 per person For a brunch that offered less than their regular brunch. $155 per person, + added 20% gratuity. The up charge of the cost of the brunch was never disclosed. The added gratuity was suppose to apply to parties of 6 or more we were a party of 3. We were told we had to pay because it was a "special brunch"during the brunch getting ahold of a server to get drinks was nearly impossible. We were able to get two glasses of champagne We were never brought our coffees, and waters were never refilled.. the whole brunch was a joke... $155 for lukewarm food, two salad options, 1 protein at the carving station, and ZERO FRESH FRUIT. Not to mention they were so slow to replenish the little they did have available, 90% of the dishes at the buffet were not labeled. As someone with food allergies this was frustrating. I asked for clarity on the dishes no one was able to provide clear answers. * Jacquelyn an employee came to thank my friend for helping her out earlier. As she had become dizzy from vertigo. She told us that the incident was caused by the stress of putting together the brunch super last minute. She mentioned staying up late and scrambling for a location to set the buffet as the actual buffet room by the pool is under construction. And the current space isn't set up for a "big brunch buffet" She confirmed what was very apparent, this brunch was an after thought to the restaurant. It was about putting something out for the bosses, instead of a quality experience for the guests. We spent over $600 for a mediocre, poorly put together brunch.

Yelp
This is located on the top floor of The Beverly Hilton. The views are wonderful, the service impeccable and the food was excellent. Would you expect less?! We stayed three nights at the hotel and had breakfast here. It was delicious. I had avocado toast with fried eggs. Perfectly cooked over easy eggs. The yolks were a beautiful golden color. The sourdough bread was toasted quite well and I prefer it a bit less and should have said so. That's my fault for not mentioning it. The hotel in general is extremely accommodating. If you're staying and want to start your day in the most beautiful way, I suggest going.

Yelp
A great way to spend Happy Hour Fridays and evenings here with a Sunset & Night Life view of Beverly Hills. Indoor and outdoor seating with delicious dining, plus great cocktails & customer service by Israel, Maria and Julie. My personal favorite is the NEFT Espresso Martinis and NEFT Classic Martini. Live Jazz music with a Saxophone player who engages the guests, then some Top 40's to get the guests moving. It created fun vibes which had practically everyone on the dancefloor. By the way, depending on their event schedule, they also have a DJ on various Fridays. Thank you Sunny, Sam & Jeffrey for providing a new place to relax, refresh the batteries and then end the night on a good note. Cheers!

Yelp
The place is at the Beverly Hilton, and it is a roof top restaurant and cocktail place but this is stale information as so many reviews already offer you this information, so I will move on to what made this place special: It is a perfect place for a sunset view moment. I had my moment there and I do not want to be a gate keeper, I want others to experience a sunset as a moment, not just a photo opportunity, not that two are mutually exclusive. The food and the drink at this place are basic. You also have to understand that this place is nestled in the heart of Beverly Hills adjacent to so many legendary and power-house places. And some of these places boast a world wide reputation that is earned by rock-star chefs that are household names-- like Wolfgang Puck. Thus, it is hard to imagine that you will find delectable bites that beat all others in a single place. But more than that, this place's food and drink are standard. For instance, we had these wings and I had to send them back because their spice level was too much and their sweetness did nothing to subdue my concerns. We also had prosciutto and pastrami croquettes. And if you want crispy croquettes you can go Porto's. Those are better than the ones that I found here. Just saying. I realized that my critique might really be damaging the perception of the quality of food here. And I have to say now, that I am a gormandizer who has been too so many places and seen so many things, that it is hard to impress me. So if you are someone who can identify like me than I think you will agree when you bite the food. But if you are a novice or you do not concern yourself with the taste of food, to a snobby/discriminating manner then you will be happy here. We also got there before happy hour was done. When they sat us down they did not tell us it was happy hour. It took them awhile to get our drinks. When they did, and they informed us that happy hour had recently passed they did the decent thing and gave us the first round at happy hour prices. So their service is impeccable, attentive, and they humored me at points. So their service is grand! So this place has this going for them too! Yeah, the service was great now that I take inventory of my memories. I wish I could remember the server who deserves glory but alas my memory wanes and I do not remember to text myself these critical details. I will do better next time. I will try to do better next time. Ugh but Yoda says there is no try, there is only do or do not (basically fail). I will try not to fail and remember to take down critical details to provide praise when praise is due. That is important to me. The fun of this place is that when William and I went the place was practically empty. So we could walk around and explore the different sections of this place. There was a television set nearby and I took my drink to see Argentina battle it out with another team. I do not know the team. I am not a futbol or soccer fan. Or any sport really. I have never watched a superbowl for more than 2 minutes, if that. I asked a server if he could point out Messi since I have been hearing so much about him. The server did and I was able to go uh ok. I was not enthrall by the sport. But then I experienced the sunset. There is a wee and slim but streched balcony- two people can fit in one spot, maybe three if they are thin. William and I stood there with basic margaritas and saw the sunset amidst a view of LA, Beverly Hills, lanes full of cars. It was the moment that breathes life into my existence. It is a moment that makes me glad to be alive, have a car, have pocket change because I got to experience a Beverly Hills Sunset a dream of others, and an impossibility for others. And here I was living it. Thank you, universe. I explained this to the server whose name, I cannot remember, and he took a deep breadth was us to heightened and vibe with my vantage point. This is the kind of service he provided that made me feel like he was humoring me, or more accurately, he was doing his best to indulge me.

Yelp
Located at the Beverly Hilton, circa 55 is serving high end gourmet comfort food. We ordered room service, the staff was fantastic, and the food was even better. I had the Beverly burger, it was incredible. High quality beef, amazing, pretzel bun, the aïoli and grilled onions were fantastic. My daughter had a Caesar salad add chicken, the chicken was really good and she liked the Caesar dressing a lot.

Joan L.

Yelp
Ordered a Caesar salad with salmon. The hotel knows there will be heavy traffic with a conference taking place, but does nothing to prepare for this. Why did it take 40+ min to get my order? I can see every table getting increasingly annoyed that their orders are taking so long, and the restaurant wasn't at capacity. Description on menu: Red and Green Gem Lettuce, Parmesan Reggiano, Crostini, Caesar Dressing. What I got was the saddest smallest most meager Caesar salad with basic romaine and 2 super thin slices of crostini (approx 1mm), and cold salmon. Not as described at all, do NOT order this for $34! You can make a better salad from a bag at Trader Joe's or Ralph's.

Yelp
We stopped by Circa 55 in The Beverly Hilton around 1 pm on Saturday 6/29 because we heard the views were amazing. We walked to the Hilton from Rodeo Dr shopping. It was a bit tricky to get to because of all the construction. The host was very welcoming and kind. We first sat at the bar for a cocktail, then moved to lounging chairs for more cocktails and truffle fries. The bartender/server was so sweet and accommodating. My moscow mules were delicious. My husband had an extra dirty martini and an old fashioned. Both were delicious. The views were great.

Yelp
Having breakfast here this morning, was a great start of my day. The customer service was on par. This place has history, and you can tell. I had the American Breakfast, and it was delicious. I also tried a juice, for $14, it better be good. The juice I tried was called The Golden Girl, and it was good, but I wouldn't get it again, because of the steep cost. I've tried Circa 55 for lunch and dinner, and it leaves little to desire. Lunch and dinner, it was mediocre, and disappointing. So, I wouldn't recommend it for lunch and dinner. But do enjoy it for breakfast. The restaurant was clean and nice for what it is. If you need some snacks for the day, the Beverly Hilton has an extensive gift shop filled with great merch and snacks. Excellent selection. So, 5 stars for their breakfast, and they also have a brunch option, as well. Enjoy!!!

Yelp
I was excited to do Sunday Brunch here with my family while visiting from San Francisco over the holidays. I booked Brunch for Sunday, 12/22/24. I have just now returned from my travels and decided to post this review after several phone calls to Circa 55 to speak to a Restaurant Manager or Food Director or even a hotel Manager. It has not been possible. The Sunday we dined was empty in the Restaurant, aside from one couple next to us. We were a party of (4) and all ordered the Brunch @ $70 each. It seemed reasonable until the food came. Each Brunch item is supposed to come with Pastries, a Seafood Tower, a choice of an entree and bottomless mimosas. We received (2) seafood towers and were told because of the size, they couldn't fit (4) on the table and just added more items to it. We only received (1) Pastry tower to share for four people for the same reason. After ordering the entrees, I was excited for my Sister to find the Gnocchi on the menu as an option, her favorite. She got a plate that looked great and after taking one bite, a HAIR!!!! So gross! I was mortified and she was disgusted! It was a long black hair entangled in the sauce with the food! I immediately let our food server know and she came to the table took the plate and said she would have them make another one, if we chose. My sister agreed and after waiting for her new plate so we could eat, it arrived half the size, looked like they split the original plate and just threw the rest on a new plate! So disappointing. My entree of Eggs Florentine showed up with no Hollandaise sauce. When I noticed, it was so plain and blah looking, the waiter came running with the sauce on a plate and said I'm sorry, that was my fault. But the dish was not properly made and the sauce brought out after my eggs were cold so I could finish putting it together! The bottomless mimosas were another thing. The server took an old glass that I had not finished and topped off my new one with the old one. WOW!

Yelp
Only came here for breakfast during my stay at the Beverly Hilton, but what I tried was all pretty good. The buffet is great and the coffee is excellent (they brew La Colombe). Definitely ask to sit outside by the pool!

Yelp
Went last minute today for breakfast and was able to get a table for the 3 of us! We were sat by the pool and it was great, beautiful day, all sun and wonderful weather! We got the breakfast buffet and it was the best! Our server, Leah, was so attentive and pleasant. Ask for her section when you go!!! The food/restaurant and ambiance was so worth it, will definitely go again in the summertime and utilize the pool!

Yelp
We stayed at the Beverly Hilton so since this restaurant was within the hotel we decided to give it a try. The menu was pretty limited which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. None of the appetizers were appealing so we skipped and opted for the house bread, which was served warm and had a great taste. I had the salmon entree which didn't have much flavor. I chose Daou Cabernet to pair with my meal. The tiramisu was delicious and probably the best I've had, which went very well with a latte. The best part of this meal was the service. Very attentive server who ensured our meal and time here was a great experience.

Yelp
Came here for a company happy hour and we were located in the pool area in our own private section. They have a restaurant with outdoor seating and if you go through to the back, they have a semi-private area for events. The hotel itself seemed a tad old and parking was a little chaotic. Luckily they did validate my parking after going to the happy hour. The food itself was very meh. They had sliders, they had crab cakes, tomato and burrata, etc. The food was bland with no flavor. The variety was lacking and there wasnt anything special that you wouldnt find at a normal happy hour. I honestly just at a bunch of sliders because nothing else there was worth it. They had an open bar with a variety of hard drinks and beer. The usual stuff and nothing special. The sad part is that the company probably paid an arm in the leg to rent the space and have the food and it all came out lacking.

Keith O.

Yelp
I expected a lot more. Food was meh, service was OK but other tables around us had much better service. The look and ambiance, amazing.

Yelp
Love this hotel and restaurant. Beautiful and good vibes. The service was excellent, Ulises was attentive and took the best care of us. If we had an issue with our food or had food concerns, the chef personally came out to talk to us. Class act restaurant. Steak was cooked beautifully, dessert was not too sweet, and the seafood was so fresh.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible. We loved the ambiance. We loved the food. We loved the staff. There wasn't a single thing we didn't love. Everyone made us feel like family which you often don't expect sometimes at higher end establishments. We ended up here for their brunch buffet which can be described as a taste around the country. They had everything from a raw seafood bar equipped with oysters, clams, and scallops (my favorite by the way) to fried chicken and waffles with maple syrup. This place is heaven for the glutton within. They have plentiful seating around the pool area. You'll have flashbacks of nostalgia. Everything about it reminds you of 1950s Hollywood glamour. And the waitstaff might even make you feel like a movie star.

Yelp
Thank Goodness for Travel Zoo! I purchased a great deal for an all you can eat buffet which included all you can drink mimosas for a party of four. Circa 55 is located in The Beverly Hilton. When we arrived for our 11 am reservation, there was already a line forming. Hotel guests maybe? We were lucky to be seated at the last table outside by the pool. Our table was shaded, absolutely perfect. Miguel made sure our glasses were always full of either mimosas or water but sometimes we switched it up with a juice. There were many food choices to choose from, so we were all able to find something to eat. In the seafood area, I chose the shrimp cocktail, scallops, and the salmon. I loved the salmon SO MUCH, I think I had three servings of it. I LOVED the different types of cheese. I must have had three servings of that as well. There were two areas for desserts and of course I had to try almost every one of them. I wanted to try the egg station, but I was so full. Parking is $28, but if you get validated, it's only $7.

Yelp
I wanted to take my granddaughters to a nice place for Easter dinner. Made my reservation more than a week in advanced. I didn't know that it was going to be an Easter Buffet Brunch that ended at 430. My reservation was for 330. For a supposedly posh place you would think you would get greeted better. Like maybe Welcome have you dined with us before/ It's Buffet right and it will end in an hour. No nothing like that she just said Hi then walked us to a table. I left my granddaughters to look at the Buffet Selections. The waitress came while I was gone. My girls even though they're 21 look like they could be 12 bcuz TSA always mistake them for 12. The waitress told them the cost of the buffet but didn't mention that it was ending soon. She brought us 3 waters and I asked for an ice tea. The waitress brought me a second tea after I asked for it. That was all she did. Other employees cleared our plates once. We only got to go to the buffet twice. There was nothing good that I ate. Prime Rib had no flavor even though I had au jus and horseradish with it. Sushi was just out on a table without any refrigeration or ice under it. Not a good selection of food. Taste of food and customer service was not good also. We were about to try the pastries at the bar but they disappeared. When I asked they said buffet is over. No Warning! It was Easter Sunday and I didn't want to get UPSET so I just paid my $571 bill with gratuity automatically added for 3 people. I told myself you are partially to blame because you didn't do research, which I usually do. My BAD for assuming that POSH Beverly Hilton Rooftop Restaurant was going to be great place to eat. I've had better Selections Food and Customer Service at Las Vegas Buffet's and Indian Casinos. NEVER AGAIN AT ANY BEVERLY HILTON RESTAURANT. I won't even try staying at the Hotel.

Yelp
I came here during a business event, and the service was unsatisfactory. Circa is the restaurant in the Beverly Hilton. It took 15 min for someone to take our order, and an hour for our food to arrive. We brought the tardiness of the food to our waiter after 45 min total time. In addition, we brought the tardiness of our food to the Mgr's attention. The food arrived one hour after our order was placed (1 hour 15 min total). Additionally, two other tables received their food before us, although they arrived after us. Lastly, one table came in 45 min after us, and received their food shortly after us. I fukn hate that when it happens! Circa 55 can kiss my beehive!!!!! I have been coming to this conference for many years, and I have tolerated your overpriced, mediocre food bc the service was good. There is no excuse for the bad service w/o some kind of consideration (half off, free dessert). I'll make sure I eat elsewhere at next year's conference.

Yelp
Great spot for lunch and to get some work done. Special thanks to our server Frank who we had the pleasure of chatting with on multiple occasions during our stay. One of the kindest people in LA hands down, thank you! Food wise: get the turkey club and thank me later

Yelp
Stayed at the hotel in August 2018. I had $20 credit for breakfast. Their menu has since changed the description and price of the "Continental Breakfast" from $15 to $21.95, to match what they called the cold breakfast buffet. When I asked for OJ, I was told it was Coffee or Tea or OJ. Instead of coffee or tea, and OJ. This is a basic English punctuation lesson. The waitress was nice but acted like she did me a favor when she brought me OJ. If you're on a business trip, have breakfast credit, and time is limited, go to the lobby cafe.

Yelp
5/07/2018 Circa 55 a restaurant poolside at the Hilton Beverly Hills also has seating inside. Frequently meet clients here as it's easy to find on Wilshire Bl/ Santa Monica Bl This restaurant and Hilton Hotel have been here years and some of the fascáde is indicative. Circa 55 is popular on weekends for the buffet brunch, which I haven't tried, but must be good. The restaurant's view of the pool is appealing and kind of distracting, especially if you see some hot looking person dip or out of the pool. This distraction certainly helps the bizzz. Food is like diner food, I suggest having some potent drinks first. Staff is always very nice and accommodating, they always let me sit wherever, because I'm here often. This hotel is a Hollywood landmark with notable celebrity photos on the hallway walls...most of them way before my time:)

Yelp
We dined on last Sunday, March 3, 2024. The actual Circa 55 is being renovated, as is some of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, so our dining experience was hosted in the lobby. We were a reserved party of 5 for brunch, and seated at a table for 4. All 5 of us ordered the brunch *an exclusive menu* which caused our table to overflow with food and beverage, having to move some table items to the adjacent planter ledge. We asked our server if we could ad a table so we could allow for and experience appropriate meal presentation and personal comfort. We were accommodated, but well after the service began. We enjoyed our meal and our servers. However, the planning and expected presentation of meals and beverages appropriately lacked thought and preparation. For where we were and what we paid for brunch *$85pp and valet @ $15pc with validation*, we anticipated a much more comfortable and seamless experience. I may attempt another visit, but only after the actual Circa 55 restaurant has reopened.

Yelp
Great restaurant inside of the Beverly Hilton. If you go at dinner, try the squash blossom appetizer, you won't be sorry you did!

Yelp
Delicious food with a variety of options and seasonal ingredients. Friendly staff that goes above and beyond expectations. Relaxing atmosphere makes for the perfect summer lunch on the terrace. I'll be dreaming about the grilled zucchini, olive, and cheese on focaccia for the rest of the summer!

Yelp
Uhm hi, best avocado toast of my life. Have been here on a couple different stays. It's been a great experience food-wise both times. This is where you'll get your cravings satisfied, albeit with a higher price tag. This place serves celebrities so you know they're doing something right. The only con is that the service the second time was very slow, and took over 20 mins to take orders. I'll give the benefit of the doubt though since our table looked busy with having a business meeting.

Yelp
The staff here is wonderful, but Circa 55 is nothing more than a glorified hotel restaurant. It is grossly overpriced to the point where it's borderline offensive. For example, the breakfast buffet, while pretty good, is a whopping $30 per person. That means a $60 check for some bacon, an omelette, and yogurt. I had lunch which was a glass of iced tea and a caesar salad with shrimp and my total check was just at $40! I wouldn't be so upset about the prices if the quality was there, but it's not. My salad was good but for the price it should've been great. The lettuce was nothing special and the raddiccio was super bitter. I had to pay an extra $6 for grilled shrimp but I only got FOUR tiny little shrimp slapped on top of my plate! They may have been perfectly cooked, but that is outrageous, especially for the mediocre quality. The worst thing was that my iced tea cost $6! Yes, SIX DOLLARS for an iced tea! Thank goodness they offered free refills and it wasn't priced by the glass! I felt the same way about breakfast, but the food quality is far better at breakfast. The highlights of the buffet are the roasted sweet potato "home fries," the crispy smoked bacon, the fresh strawberries, and the make your own yogurt parfait bar with some truly tasty homemade granola! I don't like eggs but my hubby raves about the create your own omelette bar here and he says they are crazy delicious. If you like pastries and baked goods, the selection is fantastic. I'm still trying (mostly unsuccessfully) to eat low carb, but I was so tempted by the brand muffins and fresh cookies that I had to indulge. The muffin was well worth it; the cookie was not. At breakfast, the $30 charge does include regular American coffee, hot tea, fresh juices and / or soda, so go ahead and order that Diet Coke! I'd recommend drinking plain ice water at lunch, however. The service is efficient and fast, and I'm always impressed how the servers refuse to interrupt you if you are looking at your cell phone. I guess they're used to very important Hollywood types dining here because they refuse to bother you if you look busy! So put that phone away already. The hostess staff is great too, and they sometimes even remember your name and room number! Ask for a seat outside by the pool or inside with a poolside view. The people watching is crazy good here, as you can imagine.

Yelp
Sat in the restaurant for 20 mins with a hungry kid and nobody helped us. Terrible service and the food is mediocre at best.

Yelp
My sistah-friend wanted to celebrate her divorce in style, so she chose Circa 55 for her Divorce Brunch outing. Restaurant: Circa 55 is inside of the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The hotel looks like it's had a few modernized upgrades yet the restaurant's décor is definitely not as old as the hotel. The space is a good size for a hotel restaurant. The buffet set-up is a little odd yet still flowy. Food: The options seemed to be geared toward an older crowd. The seafood options are all chilled with no option for warming. There is no carving station like most champagne buffet brunches at this price, yet there is a nice omelet station with a wonderful variety of omelet options. I don't like how you have to give the chef the cheese for the flip omelet flip over. Again, the set-up is weird. The options are also few when you consider the cost. I ate a beautiful omelet, many crab claws, short ribs and potatoes. I ate so many crab claws and my omelet was so big, I didn't have room for much anything else. The Divorcee and our other sistah-friend stuck to the crab legs and crab claws also. Service: Everyone was pleasant. Because we were there for brunch, we didn't have much need for our waiter even though he kept the Divorcee's champagne glass full as she continued to empty it, lol. The manager or someone came to check on each table and we kept her engaged in conversation. She was SO sweet and her accent was lovely. Odds and Ends: Valet parking is $7 for four hours with partial validation from Circa 55. Restrooms are outside of the restaurant, not far from the entrance. The sausage is chicken sausage. Valet gives you bottled water. So cute!

Yelp
Circa 55 gets a 4 star because of their salad and service. Disclaimer we only came here because of a living social coupon. NEVERTHELESS the presentation was ON POINT. From the bread and butter to the ice cream flight. As the entree, we ordered the steak and salmon. The salmon was delicious and nicely breaded. Destroyed it. The first steak that came out was overcooked and burnt. We notified the waitress and she went back and fired up a new one. The new one came out perfect. You have to park in the structure and make sure you validate. Overall: May return with coupon

Yelp
Came of Breakfast and was pretty underwhelmed. Got the breakfast buffet, since just about any entree with a juice basically puts you at the same price as the $30 buffet (which is crazy by the way). Anyway, there's an omelet station, the essential breakfast hot foods, and tons of baked goods. There's a lot of really nice looking baked goods, and I tried most of them. While they all look really nice, none of them really blew me away. Nothing was bad, but it was all just alright. The one thing to avoid though is the macaron, it tasted pretty old and was way too tough. The unlimited juice was nice though. All in all, it's alright and if you have the money and are staying at the hotel, it's not a bad deal. However, if you're willing to venture out, I'd do it.

Yelp
Came here to visit with a couple friends that flew in from out of town. The squid was delicious!! My friend had it at lunch the same day and said it was also really good. Only downside was the pizza, it wasn't amazing. It was just ok. The server was great and validated our parking of the hotel. The vibe was beautiful at dinner time.

Yelp
I've been coming to the Beverly Hilton for over 10 years and one of the main reasons I came in the past was for the breakfast buffet. Sadly, I won't be coming anymore. This place has gone extremely downhill. From the cold and stale eggs, bacon and potatoes to the undersized toasters that can't toast the bread laid out, to the non existent customer service, I'll never come here again. Disappointing because this was one of my favorite things about Las.

Yelp
I've dined there 3 times. Twice as a guest of others and once as a host for others. The brunch is expensive and terrible. Save your time and money. Lots of stale bread and few selections. If you really want brunch there find a discount coupon before dining. Dinner was full menu. Very nice service but prices higher than several nearby high-end Beverly Hills restaurants. Dinner and drinks for three was $375.00 not including tip. If you've got the money then by all means eat there. If you want really good food, consider the nearby Mastro's or other restaurants in the area.

Yelp
Went for Easter brunch...yikes. Everything cold. Even omelette station had little or no flavor. Seafood was barely eatable and the shrimp/crab that looked ok disappeared in seconds. Not very clean feeling or looking. Have to slice own bagels and lack of bread options and no cream cheese or nice jellies. Disaster for Easter. Disaster. Ruined our entire day. Even the dessert was boring and bread pudding dry. Cookies bland. Diet cokes flat. This deserves less than a star.

Yelp
We had a travelzoo deal for a 3-course Sunday brunch and breakfast buffet. Imagine our surprise when we showed up and are told that the 'deal' has changed because apparently there were too many travelzoo diners and it was too much work for them, so they are only offering an entree and no appetizer and dessert is whatever is offered buffet-style. I was NOT happy and asked to speak to the manager on duty. Close to walking out and get my travelzoo credit because it is not right that businesses sell and advertise a particular deal only to "change it" after. The manager showed up and kept insisting that ithe deal is different now and that all the buffet fares are as good as the appetizers that was on the menu offered before. I begged to differ. For example, the Mozzarella and Tomato "appetizer" on the buffet was basically just a plate of sad slices of tomatoes with no mozzarella left. She said that she can have the kitchen "plate us" one. No thank you. So, she left to go ask the Chef what can be arranged. When she came back, she offered 3 items that the Chef have on hand and can be prepared for our appetizer: the Mozzarella and Tomatoes, Calamari or a cheese plate or something not memorable. Ugh... not many choices, so in the spirit of trying to make it work, hubby and I ordered 2 of the Calamari appetizers. And turned out the entrées were also different now... there were none of the nice ones such as shrimp dishes or lobster salad. The best we could pick out of this slim choices was the Lobster roll... that turned out to be a few pieces of lobster on a mountain of coleslaw and HUGE bread roll. Not cool. So not cool when an 18% automatic gratuity based on the full non-discounted value was added to the bill + tax. Whilst service was not as horrible as we expected, although a few times, the servers had no consideration that we were deep in the middle of a conversation and they came right up and interrupted -- we'd rather spend this kind of money elsewhere. One star for the manager who tried to work with the situation. One star for the average service and atmosphere. I would pass on the buffet, nothing really stood out unless you just want to get stuffed. Anywho. It was fun to try, moving on.

Yelp
I visited twice over the course of my stay at the Beverly Hilton and I'm not impressed. The food here is very plain at best and for the price I was expecting something more flavorful at the least. I ordered the oysters, the salmon fillet, an NY style steak, and a cheese plate. The entrees came very plainly and I had to order additional sides (for 8$) in order to make both of my meals here complete. What? I ordered the garlic mushrooms (which were pretty good- but not 8$ good) The steak and fish came completely devoid of sauce or veggies of any kind? What what? The best part of the meal was by far the cheese platter - at least the cheese had flavor. The worst part of the meal was the fact that whenever I asked the waitress a question pertaining to my meal - she would face the other member of my party, an older man who I presume she thought was paying and tipping, and answer the question completely facing him as if he had asked the question and would respond. This happened no matter what I had asked. This was the most upsetting experience. If I stay at this hotel again I probably won't be eating here.

Yelp
Exceeds NYC prices for Cleveland execution. A $6 iced tea? Did you grow and harvest the tea leaves yourselves? Get outta here. The salad was just ok. Service was dismal. Hard pass.

Yelp
I've enjoyed more than a few very good meals at Circa 55. I really don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. During my last trip I had the short rib pappardelle, which was melt in your mouth perfect. We also shared the prosciutto pizza, and few things are better than delicious pizza and wine by the pool after a long day. The service is always fantastic and of course the dining room and outdoor seating are lovely. If the weather is nice, sit outside and enjoy a few drinks by the pool.

Yelp
We booked dinner at Circa 55 as part of my daughter's Golden Globes weekend with the hope of some casual star spotting but no luck. Fortunately we also enjoyed a well-prepared dinner with good service. The food was not super creative but the food reflected quality ingredients and skillful preparation. The New York steak was excellent, cooked accurately to order, flavorful and tender. The seared salmon was fresh tasting with appropriately crispy skin.

Yelp
Came here on a summer Tuesday for $2 tacos and after work drinks. The night pool patio ambience is awesome with changing pink, purple and red lights. Tacos were good- small street tacos so go crazy! Chicken was the most flavorful, but the pork and beef were also good. Enjoyed a Paloma to wash it down, which wasn't bad (though Paloma's aren't my go to). Finished it off with some complimentary chocolate cake thanks to Yelp check in! Cake was airy and a little dry (though still good) and the frosting with raspberries was delish. If you're looking for a classy place with a good deal and tacos, I'd recommend. We had a good time! Entrance was hard to find... had to do a walk about and went through the back.

Yelp
Overall the steak was well cooked and had good flavoring. Fries were crispy and also tasty. Solid meal!
