I recently had the pleasure of dining at Circe in East Greenwich, RI, and I am beyond impressed. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and beautiful – a perfect setting for a Friday night out. While our table wasn't quite ready we were comfortably seated at the bar where we were greeted by the most delightful bartender. She went above and beyond, exuding such a friendly, positive energy. It’s always a treat when the staff makes you feel right at home, and she certainly did that. Not to mention, her lychee martinis were absolutely delicious – perfectly crafted and packed with flavor!
Once we were seated, our waiter continued the high level of service, ensuring everything was perfect throughout the meal. Both the bartender and waiter truly elevated our experience, and for that alone, I would recommend Circe 10 out of 10.
As for the food, I can honestly say it was nothing short of incredible. Three of us opted for the braised beef short rib, and it was the star of the evening. The beef was fall-apart tender, infused with deep, rich flavors from the braising process, and the portion size was generous. Paired with a mushroom risotto, which was creamy and savory with just the right amount of earthiness, and perfectly roasted asparagus, it made for an unforgettable dish. Every bite was a perfect harmony of flavors and textures.
One of our guests chose the filet mignon, which was equally impressive. It was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked to order, with a depth of flavor that lingered long after the meal. The mushroom ravioli ordered by another guest was equally as fantastic – each delicate ravioli was filled with a savory mushroom mixture that paired beautifully with a rich, creamy sauce.
To sum it all up, the food was exceptional, the drinks were top-notch, and the service was impeccable. I can’t wait to return and experience more of what Circe has to offer. Highly recommend!
