I’ve never been to this location, never expected it to be apart of a golf course. But the restaurant was still nice as expected. The interior was very well decorated. They had a nice bar, and lots of classy decor. The staff were very attentive. Drinks took a little while but it was busy, food and apps came out in a reasonable manner. We tried everything. We had the Calamari, meatballs, lamb lollipops, and their white clam chowder to start. Everything was fantastic. The entrees were even better. I had the short rib , and for all the apps we had, and how heavy the meal was, I couldn’t leave any to take home. Everything was delicious. We look forward to our next visit.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Circe in East Greenwich, RI, and I am beyond impressed. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and beautiful – a perfect setting for a Friday night out. While our table wasn't quite ready we were comfortably seated at the bar where we were greeted by the most delightful bartender. She went above and beyond, exuding such a friendly, positive energy. It’s always a treat when the staff makes you feel right at home, and she certainly did that. Not to mention, her lychee martinis were absolutely delicious – perfectly crafted and packed with flavor! Once we were seated, our waiter continued the high level of service, ensuring everything was perfect throughout the meal. Both the bartender and waiter truly elevated our experience, and for that alone, I would recommend Circe 10 out of 10. As for the food, I can honestly say it was nothing short of incredible. Three of us opted for the braised beef short rib, and it was the star of the evening. The beef was fall-apart tender, infused with deep, rich flavors from the braising process, and the portion size was generous. Paired with a mushroom risotto, which was creamy and savory with just the right amount of earthiness, and perfectly roasted asparagus, it made for an unforgettable dish. Every bite was a perfect harmony of flavors and textures. One of our guests chose the filet mignon, which was equally impressive. It was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked to order, with a depth of flavor that lingered long after the meal. The mushroom ravioli ordered by another guest was equally as fantastic – each delicate ravioli was filled with a savory mushroom mixture that paired beautifully with a rich, creamy sauce. To sum it all up, the food was exceptional, the drinks were top-notch, and the service was impeccable. I can’t wait to return and experience more of what Circe has to offer. Highly recommend!

Will always be one of the top restaurants in not only East greenwich, but in the state. Simply great food, great cocktails, and outstanding service. I've been there many many times and will always go back.

Burrata, risotto, wagyu tacos - everything was pretty good! Service was good too. The restaurant is spacious enough so I felt safe eating here. Didn’t have to wait to be seated and good service as well.

We recently hosted an event here, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we booked the space, the staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive to our needs. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for our gathering, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our event.. The servers were friendly, efficient, and always made sure that everyone had everything they needed. It was evident that the entire team here takes pride in providing top-notch hospitality to their guests.Overall, our event was a huge success, thanks in large part to the wonderful staff and fantastic food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to host an event or simply enjoy a memorable dining experience.

Google
Over priced and not good. a 5oz filet with sides that'd cost $15 individually was priced $35 on their menu, an 8oz was $48 with no sides. To boot, it was disgustingly over salted. On top, we waited almost two hours for our food. I waited over 30 minutes for a waiter to take drink orders. Furthermore, much of the arugula was brown in our salad. Over priced for a meal I could have gotten at a cheap chain.

I am a picky eater and an avid cook! This is my new favorite restaurant in the area. Fantastic food, drinks and service! Go. You will not be disappointed.

Google
Circe restaurant is one of the ONLY true fine dining experiences to be had in the entire state of Rhode Island. A sophisticated menu, masterfully prepared, combined with an upscale professional atmosphere. Inclusive wine list, (the very best Malbec available on the east coast) and fantastic desserts. Attentive and professional, this is what "going out to eat" should be.

Yelp
Overall we had a lovely dinner at Circe. The service was great and the vibe was nice. My favorite dishes of the night were the lamb lollipops and the French onion soup. I also enjoyed the lobster ravioli and the bread and oil were tasty. The only dish that I didn't enjoy was the cacio e Pepe. It was just less creamy than usual and I didn't love the addition of the brussel sprouts mixed in. They have a large parking lot and I heard the patio is nice in warmer months!

David R.

Yelp
Had a wonderful Hendricks martini with Blue cheese olives. Food was Calamari and 3 meatball and sauce appetizer. Very flavorful!!

Yelp
We had a birthday dinner here. We had made a reservation for a large group. Cons: We had planned on ordering from the restaurant week menu, but when we arrived we were told we couldn't. They overcharged us, added duplicate of items. I only noticed one while they're and noticed two more when I got home. Pros: service was very good. Drinks were delicious. Our food was fantastic. Everyone liked their meals. I had the lobster ravioli, we shared some apps. We had some special request for the birthday and they were very accommodating. We would go back.

Yelp
This was my first time at the Circe in EG and it may have been one the best meals I have ever had in my life. First off, the restaurant is beautiful. I love the decor, it's very cozy and modern. My friend and I sat at the bar and started with a "mama sporca" also known as "dirty mama" martini. It was incredible. One of the best drinks I've ever had. Perfectly balanced. Next up, fried oysters and the deviled eggs. Both delicious!!! For dinner I had the sesame encrusted tuna with bok choy and subbed in garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection!! My friend had the filet with garlic mashed and spinach and said it was one of the best she'd ever had. The bartenders were attentive and very nice. Manager, Courtney, was on duty and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our meals. I can't wait to go back and I highly recommend you give it a try!

Yelp
I came with some friends to have dinner here. The place is super cute and the staff was so nice. Just realized I forgot to take a pic of my main dish. But We ordered the following: 1) calamari- this is probably my favorite so far! It was so fresh and delicious! I'm usually just ok with calamari but they make it good enough to crave. 2) fried zucchini- these were good! Not too greasy at all 3) eggplant parm with fettuccine- I substituted this for a pink vodka sauce (extra charge to sub it from marinara)- this was a big plate and it was sooooo good! 4) chocolate bread pudding- this was good! Not too sweet and it was super soft too 5) brownie with ice cream- this was good but more like a thick fudge. Better off to share this. Overall, I highly recommend!

Yelp
We went in on a Friday night around 7PM and there were no more tables because reservations were full for the night. We were able to find two spots at the bar. The bar was also very busy, but the bartenders were able to handle the crowd. They have a great selection of wine by the glass and some great cocktails. I tried the hot and dirty martini and it was excellent. The olives were massive and were stuffed with gorgonzola cheese. This was, hands down, the best dirty martini I've ever had. They serve warm bread with flavorful olive oil and some pretty good specials to offer for the night. We ended up trying the tomato bisque soup for an app. WOW! The soup was made from all fresh ingredients and was absolutely amazing! $12 I ordered the 5oz filet mignon with cherry peppers, roasted vedge, and mashed potatoes. Everything was excellent! The filet was cooked exactly how I ordered it and the cherry peppers complimented the steak perfectly. $30 A+ The blackened swordfish was also very good. It was cooked perfectly and the brussels were excellent. The blackened spice on the swordfish could have had a little more of a kick for my liking, but I'm sure the average person would be pleased that it wasn't too spicy. $28 A- We will definitely be back in the future as the staff were just as amazing as the food and the atmosphere.

Yelp
Requested a round table and happy to be given the intimate corner one. Really enjoyed our dinner experience. Food was delicious and able to enjoy quiet conversation. One disappointment was that 4 out of 6 ordered one of the specials but at 6:30 they were OUT of the special. That was surprising since the restaurant really wasn't too busy. It would have been nice to be warned that they were running low. That was the only down side and the menu is extensive so there were plenty of options.

Nikole C.

Yelp
First time at Circe in EG and had the most amazing dinner experience. From the food, to the ambience, and amazing service (Carla was awesome!!!!) it was an incredible night. Looking forward to going back very soon!

Jay M.

Yelp
Realized this was sitting in my drafts -- killer dinner here to celebrate BIL/SIL; housed their lovely Wagyu tacos and perfect crunchy tiny thin fries and sauce. The standout was their 'death by chocolate' sampler, perfectly sized for four, featuring nine different housemate chocolate desserts!!!

Tim O.

Yelp
Nice place and decor. Friendly staff. The food wasn't great. Not bad, just average. Tuna tartar was unusual. Swordfish tacos sat awhile before getting to me. Soggy and warmish.

Yelp
The menu at Circe in EG always provides us with a multitude of choices even during restaurant week as we had a selection of 6 appetizers, 8 entrees, and 3 desserts. We really enjoyed the restaurant week menu. The fig salad is tremendous - baby arugula. mission figs . olive oil. gorgonzola cheese. candied walnuts. balsamic dressing - somewhat healthy and extremely tasty. I splurged and ordered the 5 oz filet mignon which was plenty for my appetite. The accompaniments of delicious mashed potatoes and perfectly prepared zucchini and summer squash were so pleasing. Hubby loved the Braised Short Rib with the mushroom truffle risotto. grilled asparagus and crispy parsnips. Our waitress gave us time before serving our desserts as we were quite full. I decided to try the chocolate trio. It was good but not for my palate and yet, I love chocolate. I usually order their scrumptious lemon Mascarpone cake, but I wanted to be a bit adventurous. My husband did rave over the New York cheesecake with caramel glaze and vanilla gelato. He was quite kind to let me taste it and I was sorry I had not tried that! Overall, a lovely evening on the comfortable deck with lots of attention from our server, Michelle. One should note that the superior level of entrees and accompaniments at Circe along with the service is very consistent, which is most admirable and reassuring when dining there. F

Yelp
Great waitress Karla. Very nice drink menu and the food menu was fabulous, good portion and amazing quality!!! Nice and quiet for a double date!!

Yelp
Great views outside. Prosciutto board was delish and our entrees were as well.. sadly no room for dessert

Yelp
Our go to place! Food is fresh, portions large and always delicious! Everything on the menu is wonderful especially the calamari and halibut! Beautiful restaurant and out back the patio is wonderful with views of the golf course!

Stephanie N.

Yelp
Amazing service at the bar by Summer. So friendly and personable. Amazing food. The chicken statler was amazing. Asked for blackened and the kitchen delivered. I'm def coming back for service and food! Please add Arancini to the menu lol.

Kristen S.

Yelp
Great meal Tuesday night. We were the first of the evening and were seated overlooking the golf course. Zucchini chips were delicious-couldn't get enough of the marinara! The oil with the bread was REAL Italian olive oil and was hard to stop eating! Scallop dish was good-thought the squash was way too watery but the presentation was great. Dining partner had Veal Parm and the portion was HUGE. I enjoyed this location much more than the Providence one. Will definitely be back!

Brittany M.

Yelp
This restaurant is incredible. Any dish you order is guaranteed to be delicious. Drinks are amazing as well. It is pricy but this is my favorite date night restaurant.

Yelp
This was our first time at Circe, we're not fans of downtown and had no idea there was another one in EG until my hubby stumbled upon it. We were greeted initially at the door by a very friendly gentleman. When he realized it was our first visit he gave us some dinner recommendations. We took them and ordered the braised beef and lobster ravioli. Both were very good. I particularly liked the lobster ravioli because of the sauce. It wasn't just a basic pink sauce it had chunks of crab and great flavor. The lychee martini was delicious and kicked my butt! The gentleman that sat us came back to check in to make sure we liked our dishes. Another waitress pacing by answered a question we had and while she was there cleared our plates even though we weren't her table. Top notch attentive staff, we enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.

Yelp
I visited Circe for the RI Food Fights burger competition. Parking is in their own lot. The interior is very chic and classy flare. I was a little thrown off by the dress code since a golf course is next door. I saw dressy clothes and golf attire. So I'm still not sure what to wear haha. My business casual seemed to fit the scene. The drink list looked amazing with so many different craft signature creations. I ordered The Flower Girl. I love any drink with elderflower in it! Fair warning that the Flower Girl was very strong! I had to water it down as I drank it haha. They had one Burger on the menu. The Dry Aged Wagyu Burger came with cherry wood bacon, Grafton village cheddar, little Rhody fried egg, brioche bun, secret sauce and parmesan fries. It was a thick patty. Flavor was pretty good and all the condiments worked together nicely. It wasn't too big, but a fair size. It came with a side of string fries, almost similar to McDonald's style. You could taste the oil on them, but they were still good. I would definitely come back to try more food and drinks.

L S.

Yelp
So it's been 4 years since my last review and it is still a wonderful place for dinner. Great food , service and drinks, the patio is so perfect for al fresco dining. I love consistency and Circe delivers.

Mark B.

Yelp
Relaxing, great view of the course, friendly owner and manager, good table spacing outdoors and in. Food was great! Pricing good...

Yelp
The Providence location is amazing. The EG location has been hit or miss and tonight was a huge miss. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and ordered off the Restaurant Week menu. There is a 5 oz filet mignon that was only on the EG menu so we opted to go there. It had crab on it. I clearly asked the waiter if it was possible to do the crab on the side. He said that would be fine, it's a crab cake and the filet rests on top. The waiter wasn't the one to deliver our orders and our dinners were mixed up but we didn't realize it. I wasn't upset - that's a simple mistake and likely wasn't communicated to the bus boy. I immediately flagged the waiter to let him know the crab was on my filet because I saw the cake patty under the filet on both. My boyfriend started eating his because he wanted the crab so nothing was wrong. The waiter let us know that it's actually not a crab cake like we were originally told (and were looking for the whole time), but a potato croquette on the bottom and crab was on top. I almost started digging into mine but I noticed there was something in my sauce unlike my boyfriends meal - it was the crab! It was so thin and fine that you could barely notice it. If I had eaten it I could've gotten incredibly sick. I worry for those who have shellfish allergies because the staff didn't appear to be aware of what the dish looked like with crab and without, and did not appear to be communicating well. So they had to remake my steak and it took over 20 minutes. My boyfriend was done with his entire meal by the time I finally got mine. Really great for our anniversary celebration. I took one bite into my filet and almost choked, it was so burnt and so tough. For reference I ordered it medium rare. I cannot imagine that meat was actually filet mignon. It's pretty hard to make filet mignon tough, but this was inedible. I did let our waiter know that the steak was burnt and I couldn't eat it. I hate wasting food so I only speak of if things are really bad. He asked me if we wanted a box for it instead! It should've been comped right then and there or at least brought up to the manager. They also forgot to give us our truffle fries which we ordered in addition to our meal to share. My chocolate dessert trio was disappointing- the brownie was so tough I had to use a fork and knife to cut it. The sorbet and chocolate covered strawberry was good but those aren't exactly difficult to mess up. We ended up with an $80 bill and all I had to eat was 1.5 hard boiled eggs from the deviled eggs app, some burrata and a few bites of my dessert. Not to mention, I don't think they were following capacity and social distancing restrictions. We were in their smaller room upstairs and every single table was full and not 6 feet apart. As we were leaving the entire small entrance of the location was packed with people waiting for tables and you had to be in close proximity to get by. Lastly, When I asked for the wine list I was given a soiled menu. It had wine and food stains on it and what looked like a tiny piece of noodle or something stuck to it. So gross! You can't make this up, it was just one thing after another. It was such a disappointing experience, nothing was done to rectify that and really put a damper on our anniversary night. It's unlikely we'll be going back, which is such a bummer because we love not having to go downtown and fight for parking.

Ryan D.

Yelp
Came in here last weekend for dinner. Sat at the bar as the were just able to remove the plexiglass. Bartender was great, food great as well. I am a burger snob and the have o e of the better burgers around. My wife's Braised beef was excellent. I would get that next time if I'm not in a burger mood. Great place to come if you want to get away from busy downtown east greenwich and relax with views of the golf course.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Girls night out. We opted for a bunch of appetizers: Lamb lollipops, charcuterie, deviled eggs and a salad....Everything was fantastic! We both got awesome "Dirty Mother" Martinis....you only need one. Followed by a creme brulle Only negative was the noise. But I think thats from large room with few tables, making sound carry..

Sophie W.

Yelp
Easily the best swordfish tacos i've had. I come here just for these. A must try on this menu. Service is always great and a nice atmosphere.

Chris W.

Yelp
The food and service are consistently right on point! You will not be dissapointed.. The Calamari alone is worth the trip but leave room for the deviled eggs and some of the most tender steak you have ever had.. solid 10!

Marina O.

Yelp
Restaurant was beautifully decorated and provides great ambiance. First time there and the food was great. Only con was that the service was slow. Drinks took forever luckily I was with some folks I hadn't seen in a while So it allowed for catch up. Lobster ravioli was amazing, Calamari was as also very good just wished portions were slightly bigger.

Michaela A.

Yelp
Edited to add; the one negative that left a bad taste in my mouth was the manager and his profiling of myself and my boyfriend. We're 26, but we make very good money. So when we walked into the restaurant we werent expecting the manager to say 'What can I do for you?' Um... we'd like a table, like everyone else here? Really? what, do you think we're grub hub? My partner and I had a nice Valentine's Day dinner here. Reservations were made for 10:30pm and we were seated in a lively dining room. Our server was James. He was pleasant, patient and not overbearing. We shared three appetizers; the calamari, the burrata and the special of the evening which was seared scallops over butternut squash topped with pancetta and green apple. Without question the BEST scallops I've ever had. For entrees my partner wanted the veal parm but they were sold out by then. Understandable. He went with the meatloaf and I went with the boneless short rib. His dish came with mashed, mine with mushroom risotto. Every single dish was awesome. And with a glass of wine to swish it all down, it still came to just $100. For that price, this became our new Meritage.

Shannon N.

Yelp
To preface this, my fiancé and I absolutely love Circe in Providence! We've eaten there several times over the past few years and cannot say enough good thing about their food. Therefore, we were incredibly excited to try the East Greenwich location. However, the food just didn't live up to what we were expecting. The lamb lollipops tasted charred, the salmon was salty, and half of the potatoes were cold. By the time dessert came I went to stick my spoon in one of the items included in the chocolate trio and it was virtually impossibly to break off a piece. We would not come back here, try the Providence location. Yet, the service was good! A little slow but that is to be expected in a busy restaurant. The waitstaff was incredibly pleasant.

Marie A.

Yelp
I had dinner reservations last Saturday evening for 3 people at 6:30PM/ Included in my party was a food critic from another state. I raved about your restaurant and told her when she came to RI I would take her there. There was no other party in the room where we were seated and I thought that was rather strange. However, we ordered drinks and about 20 minutes later we ordered our meals. The food never came and now it was 8PM and we had been sitting there for an hour and a half. I asked the waiter and he said they had a large party outside and they were working as fast as they could. Well, the food came about 20 minutes later and the food critic ordered chicken parm which was burned and dry and covered with sauce. The next person ordered the short ribs which we've had several times and the meat was so small after we bragged to the critic about what large portions you serve. I ordered the pasta which was served luke warm. Terrible experience!!! They knew that they had a large party coming so why did they take our reservation? Never again!! We were good customers but will never return!

Sean T.

Yelp
To make things worse the waitress helped herself to $15 off our account after the meal. Check out the images to see the receipt vs the charge... Had to dispute with our credit card to resolve! Original Review: Oh my goodness. Go somewhere else! Circe provides terrible service, rude staff, high prices and low table availability to handily win my least very restaurant on the east coast award. I don't often give 2 star or less reviews but I have never left a restaurant so annoyed before. I'll simplify the story of the night a bit but basically my wife and I had some RI food fight coupons, which after some curt explanation from the man who we later learned is probably the owner, were disallowed from being used. At this point I can say ok, fair play, communication must have been crossed somewhere, so after some discussion amongst ourselves my wife and I decided on our entrees. No one bothered to come back to light the candle on the table or check on us until the head honcho guy came back. When we ordered he verbally expressed his surprise that my wife was ordering scallops. I ordered the duck. While we did get our first set of drinks the table was then forgotten about until around 65 minutes after our order was placed (I'd like to thank my mom for the read text receipt lol). The food, despite being slow came out at room temperature, neither dish even warm. As a small aside it's worth noting the portion sizes are small for the price, generally on par with what would be expected at high end establishments, but the quality of the food is somewhere firmly between simply ok and eh, given that it was not even hot. Sometime after the food arrived the waitress did come back to see if I wanted another beer but after we requested soda we wouldn't see her until we were nearly done our meal, despite the other table being visited multiple times. At this point I was completely out of patience and requested, with annoyance, the check. Once that came I couldn't get the card out fast enough so we went back to waiting. We asked the bus staff to ring out the check but were dismissed. By the time the waitress did come to get our check it was because her and the man from the start of this terrible story had come to quickly clear the table. Guess more important dinner guests finally showed up... To top the night off the waitress gave our card to the wrong table, charged the wrong bill to our card and ignored me when I tried to flag her down to alert her that she had given me someone else's card. I normally like to leave these reviews on a good note or point out something redeeming but the best I have is that the silverware was clean... If you're already on your way here it may be a good idea to divert, there's fast food nearby and I've never been disrespected so keenly at a burger joint as I was at Circe.

Yelp
Made reservations & was not not seated for about an hour past my reservation. Very frustrating as you watch other parties walk in after you and get seated immediately. After dinner someone in my party went out of their way to find & speak to the manager to discuss this. She was told that they seat their regulars first as they are priority. He apologized and mentioned he would have taken care of us if he had know. Almost every restaurant I dine at the manager always makes their way around to tables to check in on how everything is going (even at Olive Garden!). Other than wasting an hour of my life waiting for the reservation that I had made in advance so I wouldn't waste my time waiting to be seated, the food was amazing & our waitresses were on top of everything!

Brandi M.

Yelp
Great cocktails, service and good. We had the Lychee Martini, Dirty Martini and The Manhattan . All excellent cocktails but the Manhattan was fabulous. Infused with fig just enough to give it a wonderful sweetness. I enjoyed my wild mushroom bolognese, it was frag al dente and the sauce was not over seasoned. but my husband who doesn't usually have meat ordered the meatloaf and it upset his stomach. I contribute that to him trying to be crazy :) and eat something his system isn't used to. With another couple, we all shared an assortment of small plates. The lobster risotto and roasted beets stand out as rememberable . and enjoyable We will be back

Yelp
Came here this past Saturday for my brother in law's birthday. I dig the look of the inside. My table was in the back of the restaurant over looking the golf course. It also has a full bar, 3 flat screen TV's and there is also outdoor seating w/fire pits. We had a party of 9 and our waitress Olga was excellent. She was very nice and had a great sense of humor (we tend to get a little loud when we are all together). For the app I ordered the calamari. It comes with a side sauce that was amazing. For my entree I had the rigatoni alla vodka. I was delicious! The vodka sauce was one of the best I've had. Just pure foodgasmic!! We all ordered different desserts and I went with the blueberry cheesecake. Another home run. Freshly made, not too sweet but just the right balance of texture and taste. I also tried the white chocolate creme brulee. Yup another winner. Honestly this is one of the better dining experiences I've had and I will definitely be coming back for sure! And by the way, there's a drink on the menu called "The Busted Nut." It's served in a coconut. I'll let your imagination do the rest.

Scott C.

Yelp
If you are a fan of the original Circe in Providence, you will love their East Greenwich location. It has the same great menu, food, cocktails, and service. With it not being in the city, getting to it and parking is a 100x easier (located at EG Country Club) since it has its own lot. The location allows the restaurant to spread out as well so you are not sitting on top of other groups like the Providence location. All in all you will get nothing but a wonderful experience. This will be a great addition to the East Greenwich restaurant scene!

Bob H.

Yelp
My daughters book seriously this past Saturday for my 70th birthday. I wanted to leave a review on how wonderful everything was. The staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this to anyone having a private party or just to go and enjoy a wonderful meal. Thanks again for a wonderful evening this past Saturday night.

Yelp
Had a truly disappointing Mother's Day brunch at Circe. We made the reservation based on their regular menu (which was the only information posted on the website). When they called to confirm the reservation, the message mentioned a buffet. Standard breakfast meats, (terrible) eggs, and a few "lunch" options (carving station, pasta) were the highlight of a truly limited selection. The staff was lovely and the space very nice, but the food was disappointing and especially sad for a special occasion. No salads, no desserts, no cheese/crackers, charcuterie, or any other snacks. A missed opportunity to win over new customers, and a meal that made me wish I had just stayed home and made my own breakfast. (Which would have been cheaper and tastier.)

Yelp
We went to Circe a while ago. The reason for the two star rating is the service, which was seriously lacking. The food was fine - nothing outstanding, but certainly acceptable. We went to check out the venue for a function we are having in the fall. The drink service was incredibly slow with one drink never arriving. In addition, the meals were slow in coming to the table and never received refill on water. Every time we spoke to the waiter, he just shrugged. The lack of responsiveness was reflected in his tip. I followed up be emailing the person we had been in communication with regarding booking the venue. I am still waiting for a response. It has been a while and their has been no acknowledgement. Needless to say, we looked elsewhere until we found a more worthy establishment to host our function. Will not be going back.

Yelp
Incredible! Food, drinks, wait staff are great! Courtney H is the one to see at the bar. Total gem of a place!

Yelp
I'm upset that I have to write this review but here it goes... I dined here with a group of 8 on a Wednesday night. Our waiter was good, but he did let us know it was his first night on his own. With our group of 8, our bill was $700, some paid cash, others on the card, and we generously tipped our server 25%. The next morning I'm driving to work, when I get an alert on my phone that my bank account is in the negatives. I'm frantic because I always plan my finances accordingly. Turns out, the server at Circe charged my card over $500!!!! He made a "mistake" and didn't tell me, putting myself in legit debt for a whole day, fees and all. I am fortunate I had funds to move over to make up for this servers GIANT mistake. Here's where it gets even better (as if a restaurant temporarily taking $509 isn't good enough). I call the restaurant to complain, and they are very understanding, ask for my address and want to make things right. What do you think they send? $25 with a "sorry." $25?! Are you kidding me? I spent $700 at your restaurant and your server screwed me over with a $500 amount, and you send me $25? That doesn't even cover an entree at your restaurant. My best friend, a general manager of a chain restaurant, was laughing at this gesture. Unbelievable.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of joining a friend for dinner last evening at Circe. Not only was the company great, but this hidden gem was incredible. We opted to sit in the dining room rather than the three season room as it was a bit loud due to the bar being in there. The server was helpful, attentive and pleasant. We started with the roasted local beet small plate which is amazing! It has a little bit of a kick to it...enough do to make it surprisingly delightful but not over powering. My friend had the king crab and lobster caramelle, which looked incredible and she said was as good as it looked and I had the duck two ways. Unlike many places, I was asked how I wanted the duck prepared and it came out absolutely perfect. The meat was lightly over medium and the skin was perfectly crisp. Actually one of the best duck dishes I've had in years. We ended the evening with a coffee and a cappuccino. I can't wait to go back and

Yelp
This restaurant can certainly be very good, and the next time you visit be exceptionally poor! What is very consistent is their inconsistency. I ordered a meal with a side of roasted vegetables and sautéed spinach. They presented the meal with brussels sprouts. I me mentioned the mix up to the waitress, she said the mistake was hers. I told her no matter, I like brussel sprouts. As I tried to eat them, what I found was heavily charred brussel sprout leaves, "flakes of carbon"that would crumble and disintegrate! They changed the flavor of everything to carbon charcoal and overpowered the meal I did let the bartender/waitress know. She apologized, which I appreciated, but it was too late to save the meal. When the bill came, there was no compensation offered, no deduction of any kind to offset the mistakes and poor food. Being with another couple, I felt compelled to leave the customary 20% gratuity of the total check. They got my 20%, but they won't get my future business.

Yelp
What a lovely restaurant! The decor is just beautiful and the view of the greens is breathtaking. We were seated and served by extremely friendly staff and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We went for the burger challenge and were not disappointed. There was just one burger on the menu but it was very tasty. It was the dry aged Wagyu burger with a local fried egg, bacon, cheddar, greens and tomato. They served it with truffle fries and we asked to share an order as we could see that there were too many fries in one order for us. They of course had a secret sauce and also a sauce for the fries. We started the meal with a shared asparagus salad that was very nice. They also served us bread right from the oven with a plate of olive oil. We enjoyed everything. It was probably one of the best tasting burgers that I have had during this challenge. Just the right amount of toppings and all high quality ingredients.

Yelp
Words cannot express the horrible experience my husband and I had here. We had reservations, and were quickly seated. After being seated for a while our waitress finally came to the table to take our drink order, and also we let her know that we had RI food fight coupons, and she scooted away to ask someone about them. Not knowing to us they do not accept the coupons on the weekends and said communication had been sent out, but we didn't receive any. We cut them some slack and moved on. After finally receiving our drinks. A man ( not our waitress who we later learned was the owner) came to take our orders. I ordered the Scallop entree, and not realizing that as I ordered it the owner was completely rude and in shock that I was actually ordering that. My husband ordered the duck. After Waiting quite some time I would say 67 minutes + we finally received our food. This was something to laugh about. The serving... wait was there a serving? It was basically the protein and nothing else for both of our dishes, they were lukewarm and just okay. Definitely not worth the hefty price you're paying for this place. Once we finally received our food, our waitress came back Finally and asked us if we wanted drinks. My husband replaced his beer with soda and I asked for a soda refill. Just an FYI they charge for soda refills, which I feel you should be warned before doing so. But after they finally brought us the drinks when we were already finished with the meal, we immediately asked for the check. Once receiving the check we waited and waited for the waitress to come get it. She didn't come so we asked the hostess who did nothing about it. So then when the waitress finally came back accompanied by the owner to clear the table while we were still sitting there so they could clearly seat someone else. Finally to end off the night, they gave us our receipt to sign and it didn't even have our credit card in it: luckily we were able to find the person who had that and quickly get it back, but that's definitely a big mistake to make. This was the worst dining experience that I have ever had in Rhode Island. Not only were we treated in a rude manner, poor service but no one would help when we asked and it was clear they just wanted to turn the table around to someone else. I've heard the Providence one is much better but there's no way that this company is getting our $$

Yelp
This was my second time to Circe in EG. both times were as memorable as the last!! The first time I went was for my company's Christmas party. That night I was introduced to their short ribs and mushroom risotto...... OH MY GAH! The risotto was so creamy and the short ribs was so soft and supple. The vibe was awesome, cute for any and all occasions. My second visit was for Providence Restaurant week and they did NOT upset! A must try!!

Yelp
It was a busy, pre holiday Friday night and i know Circe was not at full staff. Regardless, everything was perfect. Davio was so very attentive and the food was spot on. Everyone loved what they ordered, which can be hard when fussy friends come from out of town. Thank you for a very fine evening

Yelp
Service and food were both great. My only complaint, wish there was more food on my plate. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Place was dead quiet on the Friday after Thanksgiving. We were the only ones in the dining room but we still had a great time. The staff were veery attentive and great to have around. We enjoyed our meals and even had dessert. People Seemed to be having fun at the bar even with the large plexiglass dividers and appeared to be staying for most of the night.
