The Latest New Orleans Restaurant and Bar Closings of 2020 - Eater New Orleans
"21-year old music venue the Circle Bar announced its likely permanent closure last week, with talent booker Michael Bateman writing on Facebook that “it looks like The Circle Bar won’t live on past 2020.” Owner Dave Clements, who also owns Uptown bar Snake and Jakes Christmas Club Lounge, confirmed the same this week to NOLA.com. The storied, tiny club situated somewhat awkwardly on Lee Circle was known for booking up-and-coming local talent and touring bands with small but mighty followings." - Clair Lorell
This is a warm cozy music venue in the downtown area! The cover charges are super affordable, with one of the shows I went to being $7! Try to go a bit earlier to catch happy hour from 4pm~7pm! It can be a bit tough to find parking in the downtown area, but towards the evening it's a lot easier.

Some of the best music we've heard while in town. The Iguanas were fabulous!

I want to thank Chian again for creating such a superb experience for his patrons.
This was truly fantastic experience and definitely the highest level of cocktail craftsmanship I have ever experienced.
We were lucky to arrive earlier, before the crowd, and had chance to talk with bartenders. They had time to go into details of they artful cocktails they were making.
We have order just the first drink from the menu and the rest were made by bartender to suite our mood!
If I am back to Munich again I will make sure I spend my evening at the Circle Bar.
Thank you very much

They provide an excellent array of live music, DJS , and themed dance parties, my favorite of which being the Mod Parties hosted by DJ Mattie, a great DJ and overall person. I have also gotten nothing but kindness from the bar and other staff. A must go!

Give five stars on energy and the crowd there. Place was packed. Local hangout with all ages. When I first walked in I wasn't sure about the decor, red with black ceiling and black trim. The wall behind bar I loved. Lights were dimmed. The group, Iguanas, were playing and they kept the crowd in it. It was hot because of the large crowd

Awesome hole in the wall. Bartender was really nice lady and super informative about the area. This building sticks out like a sore thumb compared to everything around it. Hard to miss. A must to stop at if your in the area.
