We had a great experience. Loved the room, which was very posh and clean. The staff were super friendly and thoughtful. The location is perfect. Breakfast was great. Next time I would take the room that is not watching Gran via just because it was a bit loud at night.

What a wonderful find! This was the ideal location to explore and walk around Madrid. The historic building is newly renovated but kept it's old world architecture. Fun to walk next door to the casino, but you don't notice it's there since it's a separate entrance. The suite was very large with an amazing outdoor terrace offering peace in the middle of the city. For a 3rd person, they offer a rollaway or the sofa bed, which was comfortable for our adult son. Air condition worked well, daily breakfast in the beautiful dining room was a treat, and the staff could not have been more kind and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Ideal location to explore and walk around Madrid, felt very safe on Gran Via. Fun casino next door, which you don't notice since it's a separate entrance. Upgraded to a large suite that includes an amazing outdoor terrace offering peace in the middle of the city. Air condition worked well, daily breakfast in the beautiful dining room was a delicious, and the staff could not have been more kind and helpful. Definitely recommend.

I have stay here many times and will continue to stay many more.|Location is fantastic, room was great and staff were truly amazing. Stayed for five nights, and everything about the experience was enjoyable. Nothing but positive things to say - Wonderful stay overall.

Disappointing hotel! As a Titanium Elite member, my husband and I stay at MANY Marriott hotels and the Autograph properties are always great. This one seemed to be in a great location, and the photos looked great, plus it was an Autograph property so we booked about 3 months in advance. Guess we should have done more research on this one...... We arrived to find the hotel is attached to a Casino, which is not our preference, but we were willing to deal with it, though frustrated that this was not clearly stated in the Marriott App. Feels like they are trying to hide that detail. Check in was smooth and we were told we were upgraded to a balcony room. Great! Nope. The room was TINY, and cramped and VERY poorly laid out. Decor was dated and this was not at all like the beautiful, large rooms pictured on the Marriott app or here on google. The Balcony was more than twice the size of the room. And worst of all, the Room and ALL the hallways reeked of stale smoke from the moment we got off the elevator. We dropped our bags and decided to explore the hotel to see if maybe that would make up for the rest. Nope. The only restaurant was attached to the casino and also reeked of smoke. This was also the breakfast room, and there was no bar or anywhere to truly relax - zero amenities. Plus, my nose was burning constantly from the stale smoke smell. My husband called Marriott customer service but they were no help. The ONE good thing about this hotel (okay, maybe Two, since location is good....) was the staff. My husband booked us at the Palace Hotel, a 5 star Marriott down the street and then we went to talk to the front desk. Initially, the gentleman working the desk told us the hotel and casino are completely separate, which isn't actually the case, since the restaurant literally opens up into the casino! Then, he immediately offered to check us out and give us a full refund which he did right away. They were very gracious and that was refreshing and should be noted. We had a wonderful stay at the Palace Hotel, which was also a great location, so I'd go there instead of this one.

We have not yet arrived to the hotel, but our experience has already been terrible! We booked the hotel for 2 nights via Bonvoy app, which required pre-payment and allowed no cancellation. However, our flight on the way to Madrid got cancelled due to a strike - something outside of our control. We reached out to the hotel to request their help with this matter. We hoped that they could cancel one night stay as we are not going to be there on the first night. Provided proof of 2 flight cancellations. After 3 phone calls and an email, they refused to cancel the reservation. No consideration was taken into the account - the fact that we are customers of Bonvoy, the fact that the reason for cancellation is outside of our control, no offer to give the credit for future stay instead… We come to Madrid often. But will never choose this hotel again. We yet have to experience the hotel, I will be sure to edit the review after our visit as well.

Room was just ok. Hotel breakfast was 34 euros each for a very small selection and bad eggs. Most overpriced breakfast I’ve ever paid for. The hotel bar was sub par. Connect to the casino next door. After the first day, we decided to get breakfast and end of night drinks elsewhere. The hotel was not near the price we paid. Only positive was every staff member we encountered were the most friendly. Very nice people. Just overpriced room, breakfast and hotel bar. Well located as well.

The hotel is well-situated on Gran Vía, surrounded by vibrant shops and restaurants—a definite plus for anyone exploring Madrid. Check-in was smooth and efficient, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. Despite having a confirmed booking under my wife's Marriott platinum membership, the staff refused to honor the associated perks simply because she wasn’t physically present. This was not an issue at other hotels we stayed at in Abu Dhabi, London, Paris, or Brussels. The refusal here felt unnecessarily rigid and frankly, hostile. It set a sour tone for our entire stay. The deluxe room itself was comfortable and well-sized for two people, with a decently spacious bathroom. But no amount of room comfort can compensate for poor service and dismissive attitudes. Hospitality should be about flexibility and respect—qualities sorely lacking during our visit. I left Madrid feeling more relieved than relaxed, and I will not be returning to this hotel. A disappointing experience that could have been easily avoided with a touch of professionalism and courtesy.

Hotel is in a great location, steps to most of the sites & the metro. We were upgraded to a suite on the sixth floor that is immaculate, quiet, plush, beautiful and just perfect. We have more amenities than I can mention. Wish we had more time to enjoy the jacuzzi, terrace ... but we are here to explore Madrid. We are loyal to the Marriott brand & were treated like rock stars here. The breakfast was included from 7:30 until 10:30 on the second floor. The room was luxurious & so was my Spanish omelet. Two women hustled, they never stopped moving; clearing tables, handing out menus, refilling coffee, serving .... Breakfast was leisurely, we spent an hour in the restaurant & noticed that many around us left over large quantities of food. If breakfast wasn't included we would have used the Nespresso in our room & grabbed muffins in the market. Unfortunately the rooftop cocktail bar is used by the casino, but we do have our own terrace. Yes, there is a casino next door & it is connected to the hotel on the 2nd floor. The gym on three looks perfect, cardio options and free weights. David & Maria both went out of their way to make recommendations , circle our maps and point us in the right direction. I hate to leave!

There are many mysteries in Madrid that I'd hope to understand better. One of them, is that despite it's size and location, there is such a lack of luxury hotels. Aside from Four Seasons, the rest of the properties seem to be in the four star spectrum. Circulo Gran Via appears to be a fairly new property with a location that is very central to explore key attractions. The staff are extremely professional upon a guest walking in and offer to help. The lobby is simply disappointing, as it has no character to it whatsoever and is extremely small. It feels like a lobby of a nice three star property in the US, such as an AC Hotel. Despite the Titanium status, there was very little benefit in staying here with status. It was one of those times when I couldn't even tell if I received a room upgrade or not as the room was pretty small and basic. Even what they call their "Junior Suites" are not suites at all. There was also no breakfast benefit despite the status. Aside from being connected to a casino, there are really no amenities at the hotel to explore and it is very tiny. The lack of a dedicated area for cars to pull up and a lack of proper signage also made it challenging for drivers to find this property. Despite a few of these setbacks, the hotel is extremely fresh looking and the design of the rooms is sharp. It does not feel like many corners were cut during the renovation process, which is a typical problem in the Marriott chain. All around, this is a great hotel with very well trained staff, a high level of efficiency and nicely designed rooms that I would not hesitate to recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at the Circulo Gran Via. The room upgrade was appreciated! We had a terrace overlooking the city.. and a HUGE rain shower that was incredible!! The room was clean and fresh, and the beds were firm and very comfortable! Breakfast was delicious, and the service was great!!

Very clean rooms. Large shower with jacuzzi. Adults only, no kids. Same building as the casino. Albert made sure we got reservations for La Barraca on our 1st night and Botin on 2nd day. He also gave us great suggestions on where to find good food and how to get to our destinations. Very friendly staff from the front desk to room service. Would definitely come back!
