Circus Circus Reno - A Caesars Rewards Destination

This place holds alot of memories for me growing up. As a child, my parents would come here in the late 80s, early 90s and they would give us rolls of quarters while they played slots and table games down below. The days of having flying trapeze and motorcycles rolling in a metal ball are long gone, but kids playing carnival games and walking home with massive stuffed animals still lives on. We stayed on the 28th floor in the Sky Tower and I can't say the rooms are updated. The rooms seem very average, the water pressure was not very strong, but Internet was good.

It's probably an ok hotel for people with 1 room and/or limited luggage. We weren't those people. We had 3 rooms, 6 people, and ski stuff. I booked 2 of those rooms, and couple #2 was arriving a little later. The desk crossed things up and gave us all keys to the same room. We had to go through the check-in process all over again, and we finally got 2 different sets of keys but they still had the names reversed which confused the bell hop at checkout. Initially, I asked for a luggage cart, and was told we weren't permitted. So, told the bellhop to bring two carts. That also wasn't permitted. Well, couple #3 rode with us in our car and we had 2 carts full of mixed up luggage. So, without 3 carts, it was a non-starter. We gave up at that point and lugged our luggage. The hotel has two buildings with a skywalk between. It sounds fine, but the only way up to the skywalk is via an escalator then multiple sets of stairs to go up and down along the way. We were drenched in sweat by the time we got to our room and quite perturbed. We found later that you can also take the elevator up from the parking garage after you drag your junk around the building, across the busy street, and around the other building. The next morning, rooms 1 and 2 called the bell desk. Initially, they were confused because of the front desk's errors, but it went fine after that. We chose that place because it was downtown and fairly cheap. Next time, we're staying near the airport and Ubering downtown. Way less hassle....

TLDR: Severe Management Failures and Poor Guest Experience I am staying at Circus Circus Reno tonight and was deeply disappointed by the lack of operational oversight. Despite arriving at 5:00 PM on a Saturday (peak check-in) with a pre-completed QR code, the self-check-in kiosks were down for maintenance. The resulting line was wrapped around the corner and remained stagnant. What was most frustrating was the staffing: only 3 of the 11+ registration desks were open despite the system outage. It was only after I called to complain that they opened additional desks (one more immediately and another desk 10 min after). This reactive approach suggests a lack of proactive management. Why not take those steps before someone had to call? Who is managing this essential process? They don’t care how long guests were waiting, how long they spend time lining up vs on casino floor, etc. It shows a complete disregard for guest time and hotel management. The issues continued once I reached my room in the Sky Tower: • Maintenance Issues: The thermostat was non-functional. • Poor Service Recovery: When I called the operator, I was told I would have to return to the lobby and wait in the massive line again just to get a new room assigned. • Billing Discrepancies: I was charged a resort fee of over $44, which exceeded the amount on my original invoice. I’m waiting for maintenance for over 90 min now. Will see how much longer I need to wait and how much worse this experience gets. If I have to go back down and line up again to get a new room assigned due to security, the fact I am in the room means that hotel security is useless. I am in the room because I did all of that. This experience wasn't just a string of bad luck; it was a systemic failure of management to handle basic hospitality essentials. For a better experience in Reno, I recommend the Peppermill if you like casino, or alternative lodging like SpringHill, or ones with full kitchen like Kasa Archive or Element. Timeline: Arrive at the hotel 5pm (park) and line up 5:15pm Get in the room 6:25pm Maintenance called 6:30pm Maintenance arrived NEVER after operator told me they will send one before switching rooms.

I booked online, got to the hotel, and was told they couldn't access my reservation. To be clear, they could see it in their system but they couldn't access it. After an hour of waiting around and being told various stupid things I went over to the J Resort, who checked me in immediately and were wonderful. I've stayed at Circus Circus multiple times just out of habit, but this experience helped break me out of it and I will be booking at the J from now on. Its absolutely ridiculous to not be able to check someone in when they have a paid reservation. Which, I should point out, was never refunded to me. So basically my nights charge afforded me an hour of standing around in the lobby. I personally enjoy a bed to sleep in with my room charge. As old and worn out as this building is beginning to be, they'd be well served to make a better effort with those who are still willing to come and stay.

Staff was very unfriendly and slightly hostile, to the point of wanting to leave and not spend anymore money at an establishment that was unwelcoming. We spent money at this location for 2 days and I regretted it after staff made our second day there very unpleasant. We drove all the way from California to Reno to have a good time and unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy it how we should have. The facility was very nice and clean tho, I did appreciate that.

The place was incredible.It has an arcade and a casino! If you have kids who like to play in the arcade and members how like to play cards,then you are in right path for finding a hotel. It even has a card place holder just in case you forget your card in the room. It is just that the place where you come in was kind of hard to find. When I was coming in my car at the drop off place,a person who works there was helping me and asking if I needed anything.

Connected to two others casinos which I thought was great. Plenty of places to eat at reasonable prices. Gambling is good. We took the the train to Reno and it's walking distance. We had stayed the night before and rooms were good. Also parking is easy.

We just stayed at Circus Circus over the weekend with our two kids. Before coming up we did our research on what hotel would be great with young kids/families. We landed on Circus Circus because of the advertisement of midway games and acts. When we arrived at 2:37pm we tried to check in, but were prompted to pay extra for checking in before 3pm. We took the kids to the arcade area until then. The arcade was met with extreme smoke smell because of the main casino being directly below the "kids" area. the hotel is all open concept so it makes sense why we were smelling smoke from the casino below us. Not ideal when both kids have asthma and the smell is honestly just disgusting. The "Circus performances" were extremely disappointing. After the research we had done we expected an actual show, not a 3-5 min act of someone stacking 5 chairs up and sitting on top (Not even standing on it, to make it look cool) my 4 year old can sit on chairs stacked up too. You also had to crowd around the stage to see anything at all, so both our kids had to be held because of the congestion to see what was going on. Once it was 3pm we headed back to check in to be met with a 50+ person line all doing the same thing. Extremely frustrating when all we wanted to do was check in a whole 20 min early to avoid the long lines with our two young kids. Once we checked in and got our bags there was then a 20+ person line to even use the elevators. Other visitors were not very patient and would try and cut others to get to the elevators quicker. We ended up going to Grand Sierra to play for rest of the evening. They were so much more family friendly and the kids area was completely separated from the main casino. They had a bigger/better arcade, a whole bowling alley and so much more to do as a family. I appreciated how separated the family area was, a much better experience and we will be staying here moving forward!!! Fast forward to evening time, we came back to Circus Circus to use up the rest of the arcade card we had already paid for. The kids loved the games but like every other arcade Wow you get jipped with what you get to play vs the cost of it. The workers were also not very friendly and you could tell they could care less about being there. Once we were back in our room for the night, we had noticed our room had a conjoined door to the room next door, we locked it and put a chair in front of it because there was at least an inch gap underneath, you could literally hear the TV shows they were watching and anytime they used the bathroom. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds, my husband and I literally laid there ALL night not able to sleep. Not sure if it was the countless sirens driving by, the ticking noise of something above us every 15 min (exactly every 15 min!!) around Midnight our next door neighbors who we shared the conjoined door with returned to keep their party going. Woke both our kids up and had no respect for anyone near them. I called the front desk and they did send up security within a timely manner but it still doesn't help we could hear them watching TV til 2am. Both our kids were up and down all night we decided to check out at 5:30am to head home. I would highly recommend not staying here, there is a lot of upgrades needed from the rooms/beds/bathrooms, and the Midway games/act area was pathetic. I would highly recommend not staying here as a young family. Grand Sierra resort will be our only hotel we stay at in Reno again.

Circus Circus' Midway of Fun is still a great time, albeit more expensive to play but what isn't nowadays? There are the classic manned midway games (ball tosses, ring tosses, water gun races) and standalone games (skeeball, claw games) but the regular video games (shooting, racing) are gone. Everything is done by a pre-paid card so no cash is exchanged with the workers. They also have the free midway shows - which is always a treat to see. As for their casino, they removed manned table games years ago and only have slot machines and automated gaming machines (craps, roulette, blackjack). It's a bit sad compared to when we used to come visit back in the 90s - when the downtown casinos were packed with patrons even on the weekdays. But, I'm happy they're still around. Their food court is a nice option when we're not in the mood to have a sit-down meal. The Habit is a favorite of ours and they always put out some great burgers and shakes.

I used to enjoy coming here through the years, but now it's just been a total dump. The row does offer better entertainment with the other two around, but circus circus has very much to be desired. For starters, if you decided to get the "Mountain View" room you're more likely to get the sky tower which is not connected to the main hotel. Although I used to enjoy coming to this section of the place, it's a barren wasteland. They no longer service the tram post Covid. The area has no amenities and unlike the main hotel, this tower hasn't received a much needed face lift. Paint on the rooms are peeling. Stains are everywhere. The food court and the carnival style games are the only thing that makes this place entertaining and enjoyable, but staffing is a major issue. The food court, although delicious with the food and the friendly staff, the upkeep of the dining area is disappointing. Dirty floors, tables, etc. and it's hard to find staff to clean the area. The staff look overwhelmed and burnt out. They do what they can and I give them credit. I have no complaints about them. When person to person, they are nice and attentive. Only wish the rooms and attractions were just the same.

This place is an okay location in downtown and prices are a little cheaper than others, buuut the check in is awful... Both times I've stayed the check in line was extremely long. First time we checked in around 5:30pm and the second time was really late, 3am. The self-service kiosks are not open after midnight. The line both times had over 20 people waiting. Check in took HOURS. If you want to save and don't mind the hassle, it could be worth it for you. I personally don't know if we will stay here again.

Affordable rooms with large queen beds. Comes with refrigerator in every room. Its next to elldorado and silver legacy. Staff are friendly and cleans up well. Not much in the neighborhood besides casino. Wished there were more to do in walking distance.

We like to come to this 3 hotel space at "the row". We usually stay at the silver legacy and kind of go back and forth the property eating at the el Dorado and usually gamble at the circus circus. This is the lower $ limit of the three properties and they have removed the tables but don't really mind as I don't do to much of that gambling anyway. I like the old style slots and roulette. They have a digital roulette with a $3 minimum at which we usually play for a long time. There are a couple of penny slots by the bar where the live music stage is and we usually win there. There is a cocktail waitress who always takes care of the wife and I and the drinks just keep on coming. I should know her name but I don't she is a blonde and great smile to go along with her amazing service. Came here for my birthday and we had a blast! Won my largest slot jackpot of $2.5k and had a great time. Last time we stayed here they put us in the old tower that used to have the little Tram so the wall all the way over there kind of sucks so we opt for the silver legacy when ever possible.

My family and I enjoy the Midway located here above the casino floor. Plenty of games to play. My favorite arcade game is skee ball. And chicken in the pot. Nowadays you purchase a game card sold in machines located throughout the Midway. Like many things the price of games have gone up. $1.50 per skee ball game. $6.00 a bucket for ring toss. Chicken in the pot was dormant the two days we went. The live circus trapeze acts have been eliminated. Now there's a stage where various circus acts come out. We caught two the time we were there. 1:30pm & 2pm. But then the next time was 2:45pm. We left before then. Certain games earn you points that you can redeem for prizes. I let those go. I dropped my game card into the recycle box. Fun entertainment for all ages.

When traveling to Reno with the kids Circus Circus is a must for us. There's plenty of free parking. The pricing is the best around. There are plenty of rooms to pick from to suit your needs. It is connected to 2 other casinos so you don't even have to go outside! There are plenty of restaurants to choose from or the food court! And the best part....the arcade!!!! My kids can spend hours there and love the prize selection!

11/15/2025 came to play games with my granddaughter. Had a blast. Staff was friendly, games were fun. Definitely will come back to play

We stayed one night at Circus Circus Reno with our big family, including our nieces & nephews. It's definitely budget and family friendly. The front desk was welcoming, and early check in was available for a $30 fee. We were able to check in at 9:30am, which was great. The arcade and food court were perfect for the kids and made the stay convenient. That said, the hotel is very old. Even with updated rooms, everything felt dated and a bit grimy, especially the hallways and casino. The room was clean but bare bones. There were only two pillows per bed and minimal amenities. So charging the $40 resort fee seemed excessive for what you got. And because it's the most affordable of the three connected hotels, it was extremely crowded. We waited 15-20 minutes just for the elevator. It worked for a quick family trip, but if it were just my husband and me, we'd stay somewhere nicer.

The newest or most luxurious? No! Fun? Yes! Where your kids want to go? Yes! Great value? Yes! Nothing is perfect but this hotel casino is a place where both kids and parents can both compromise a bit and both enjoy themselves. Very family friendly. Connected with Sliver Legacy and Eldorado your going to never have to leave the trio of resorts. Last I checked if you stay at Circus you could ask to use the little rooftop pool at Silver if you wanted to. Kids love that sort of thing. The midway isn't as happening as it was in the 90s but its still a cheerful place to be. I last went here with the kid brother years ago and he was so eager to go he accidently clicked 4 times and ordered four rooms - as we arrived the front desk promptly refunded the extra three rooms. Eager you and your childish inner self will also be. Its a fun place. Smiles and laughs. We can never have enough of that sort of thing. Granite counters and stainless steel appliances you won't find here. But that's ok. My mom once said that granite belongs only in grave yards. I've been an enthusiastic supporter of Circus Circus Reno since I was 10 years old. I loved it then and love it now. Sure, we've grown old together but lets let the next generation enjoy it as much as we have in the past.

So it is been about 2 weeks since I stayed at Circus Circus and everybody who has read my review knows that I was not and I repeat not impressed. So I figured that maybe the upper management doesn't know or realize the condition of that room in particular and so I have been trying to reach out to them. First off it is impossible to find an email address to anything but the players club, making reservations but when it comes to a complaint I can't find it. So I ended up calling the Vegas location the company that owns Circus Circus, El Dorado and silver legacy and they just transferred me to Circus Circus in Reno. I could not get through to anybody remotely higher up than a reservation person I'm assuming because yes if I needed a reservation and I told him the problem, he said that he would be passing it on to the higher management and to expect a call in about 24 to 48 hours. That my friends was over a week ago and still nothing. It just really bothers me when we give our business to these establishments that have no concern of any type of problem someone might be bringing to their attention. So again if I could rate it half a star I would because every business good or bad have at least acknowledged the feedback that I've given them.

Always the place to stay with a kid under 18 and loves video games. Great gambling machines and games. Good food locations to choose from. Rooms are decent and good pricing for the visit. If you have kids under 18 headed into Reno, this is a great option to stay.

Checking in was a breeze. It had been some time my last visit, and I was genuinely impressed. The place is spotless and packed with convenient amenities. I really appreciate the connection to Silver Legacy and El Dorado. The food court is fantastic, offering a variety of options so every family member can find something they enjoy. I'd definitely return. Plus, the staff were all exceptionally friendly.

I feel like I stayed in a different hotel than the other people leaving reviews. Yes, it's a tad dated & water pressure in the sink was laughable but it was clean. Free parking, I almost forgot what that was like. I saw multiple security guards pass through, keeping everything safe. We had a mini suite and there was nothing mini about it. We had so much room! We had great views of the area too. The shower pressure was great. The bed was comfortable. The black out shade was so handy for the early morning sunshine. Loved the mini fridge and coffee maker. Ice was free, plentiful & just a few steps away. This was our 3rd stay here over the decades & we keep returning. The layout can be a little confusing but once you get it, it's not a big deal. I could see those with mobility issues having a tough time navigating here. Checkin was easy and check out was even easier.

We stayed at Circus Circus last night for a staycation. Upon checking in, we were informed that we had been bumped from our reservation and lost our king bed in exchange for two queen beds. Our room was located in the Sky Terrace wing, which we didn't realize was quite far from the main areas, and unfortunately, the train service had been stopped. After settling in, we started hearing our neighbors partying, and it seemed like the walls were a bit thin. However, it was nice to find a refrigerator in the room. Although we were on the 10th floor, our view was not very impressive. Afterward, we went out for dinner and were able to make good use of the refrigerator. The next morning, we went out for breakfast and returned to find our neighbor overdosing, with paramedics attending to him. I suppose he had been vomiting all night, which could explain some of the loud noises we had been hearing.

It's been a couple years since I visited Reno and I decided to book a room at a childhood favorite of mine--Circus Circus at the ROW. After looking at the reviews, I was debating whether or not to book somewhere else because of how terrible they were, but this resort honestly wasn't that bad as dramatic people made it seem on here. The rooms have been renovated quite nicely. There's amenities to use, the bed is a bit firm but comfy enough to sleep on, and it's overall quiet, at least from the tower we stayed at. We originally booked the sky tower but the lady at the front desk upselled us for the other tower since it's closer to the connecting casinos and parking lot, and I'm really glad she did so. However, I do have a complaint about how when she was upselling us, she said she'd give us a room with a higher floor and city view for an extra $20. Although our room was on the 19th floor, our room was facing away from the city. It's not a bad nitpick of mine since we were only staying here for a day, but it's the little things that count if you pay a bit extra for a better stay. She also took my card and proceeded to insert it through the chip for me instead of me doing it myself to pay the deposit? We were in no rush as well. The parking garage is very far from the original tower we booked at and I don't think we would have been able to find it so i'm glad she upselled us on the other tower. Speaking of the parking garage, I recommend parking at floors 3-4 since there are a few homeless people that wander around the ground floor. The Midway carnival was fun, it was empty since we came on a Monday but it was still entertaining and the employees were nice. I remember they used to give out grand prizes like guitars and posters, but it seems like they low budgeted to cheap toys due to inflation. It was still a good time regardless. The hotel itself is quite clean, not really as dirty as people made it seem to be so I'd definitely book a room here next time if I wanted to visit Reno again. Sadly, I noticed the city itself became quite infested with homeless people over time, I hope the environment here gets better in the future.

Even though the hotel is really old, they've done a good job updating the rooms. The garage is absolutely a nightmare to locate and is in IMMEDIATE need of repairs but we had a clean, quiet room with decent views. The arcade games are neat, lots of cool places to dine both in and around the hotel, and you can watch the free circus entertainment if you like.

They only had 2 elevators working so there was a line with about a 10 min wait to get on an elevator to be able to go to your room. Only 2 pillows per bed and no extra blanket or pillow in the closet like most 2 queen rooms have for their guests. Beds were comfortable and the T.V. remote wasn't really working. All in all can't complain too much as the room was free but I am beginning to believe that hotels give you the "crappy" rooms when you are given a free room.

Brings back memories as a kid playing at the midway. We went during a weekday and the place was pretty deserted. It was a lot of fun though as we had the place to ourselves. However the upper arcade area is closed on the weekdays. The workers are all friendly and ensure that your child has a great tome. Parking is abundant as there are two parking structures where you can walk across into the main building from the second floor.

Came here for our little one. She loved every minute of it. The arcade portion was big but can be completed quickly if you're fast hahah The carnival vibes were cool and most games were about $1.25. The carnival games ranged from $1.25 - $6. Usually everyone wins something so it's nice to leave with a bag of toys (even if you spent a lot of money). The restaurants right outside the arcade was a good placement but the bar next to it ripped us off with our drinks saying each one was 16 ounces when they clearly weren't.

What I appreciated most about this place is that the arcade games are not screen-based. Some of them actually have people manning the games, which brings you back to a begone era before technology took over. My husband used to come here yearly as a child and holds fond memories. It's a neat place to take a child, you can even win prizes if you get enough tickets. Fun for the whole family.

I booked this through the Caesar rewards. I'll be honest it was a bit much for me. I don't have kids so not my fault but not the atmosphere. I want to be in. Rooms are really great.

This weekend was packed due to the wing fest, so this place was busy! Unfortunately, only 3 of the 6 elevators were working that could take you to the North Tower, which means there was always a long line. Then there were a couple of escalators not working either, no more buffet, no cheap eats, sportsbook was closed too. Overall, we spent most of our time in Silver Legacy and El Dorado to eat and gamble, so it's nice they are all connected. Our rooms were nice, clean with comfy beds!

Circus circus can be a place to rest your head without worries if you're in the right tower. Without naming which tower we stayed in, our room was decent. It had a refrigerator, a nice bathroom and a nice bed. I would not bring my kids here to stay due to the many unsecured areas at this hotel. For the wife and I to get to our hotel room, we had to walk pretty far down a deserted hallway. This hallway has no one around, no security nothing. I can handle myself, but I would never trust my kids to walk through this hallway. This hallway leads to another area of the hotel that is pretty much vacant. It's not hard to access this area from the street due to the escalator. The weird part was walking to our room on the ninth floor, we never saw anyone walking in the hallways. I almost felt like we were the only guests on this floor. My other pet peeve was oversized parking. No one was enforcing the parking area. I had to park in motorcycle parking because of my oversize vehicle because other passenger vehicles were parking in the oversized parking area. For the right price, I would stay here again with my wife. However, I would never bring my kids here to stay the night for their safety.

If I could give 0 starts I would. Do not get a room here! We came here and our room got booked waaaay across the street. We got back to our room around 9 pm. Surprise surprise our key doesn't work. We walk back to registration which is like a maze to get to and super far way. They reset our keys supposedly. We walked all the way back and surprise the keys still don't work. Did I mention we did this with a fussy/ sleepy baby I'm a stroller. There's a line to get on the elevators. We call desk service because there's no way I'm walking all the way back with my sleepy baby and a stroller. Desk services sends security and they can't even get in. Now we are waiting for an engineer to come let us in . I just want to put my baby to sleep and get in bed at this point we should just drive home.

This hotel is exactly what it sounds like and what you would expect a Circus to be -- a low quality hotel option run by clowns. For starters, the lady who checked us in was extremely rude, acting like we should know everything already when we were asking normal questions. Another lady told us they only give out water to their guests on Fridays, and if you're coming here with the intention of gambling/blackjack, there are zero live tables at this casino. There is absolutely no reason to choose this hotel for your stay, I can guarantee that every other hotel in the area would be a better experience. The only redeeming quality was that we had nothing bad to say about the room itself, it was clean, comfortable, and had a good movie selection. Overall 2 stars awarded.. do better than the Circus.

Totally dated and old. Circus games are just ok and really expensive because several make you pay for every ball thrown. Lame. On the upside they still have penny slots. Haha.

Have come to Circus Circus Reno Hotel & Casino a few times and have always had a good time. I remember coming here to play at the Midway. The slot machines are pretty fun. Me and my mom stayed here this past weekend. The room was pretty nice. Had a nice view. My mom and had gambled a bit. Will be coming back here.

The worst hotel I've ever been to. The room was dirty, no paper towels, absolutely disgusting. I paid over $300 for one night and received horrible service. This is my first and last time coming here. I will never come back.

It's been a long time since I visited Reno. I used to stay at Circus Circus because of how significantly cheaper it was compared to the other hotels in the area and the rooms were terrible. However, post-COVID era, I think they took the time to renovate the rooms. The rooms are much nicer with decent amenities. The rooms are cheaper than what I remembered and I'm glad the parking is still free. The Midway is still fun and has gotten a few upgrades with more arcade games than immediate stuffed animal wins like in the mid-2000s. A bit sad for me to see some of the fun "carnival" games are going extinct but good on them for adapting to the ever so changing entertainment for kids.

What a miserable, hellish overpriced nightmare. Do NOT go here if you are disabled, mobility impaired etc. They are far from ADA compliant. Most of the employees I spoke to were rude and unhelpful, I really regret wasting my money at this slice of Hell Also WAY too loud and very confusing directions - F -

I have stayed at other hotels within "The Row"; but I recently completed my first stay as a guest of Circus Circus Reno. If the grade was solely based on the hotel stay, I would give Circus Circus "4.5" stars. Booking :: Although I am a Caesar's Rewards member, on this occasion I was able to get a better room rate using a travel aggregator (versus booking directly). Parking :: There is a small driveway in front of the entrance closest to the registration desk where you can load/unload. But it can get backed up at times. Fortunately, I travel lightly. I parked in the structure across the street and walked over. This garage has plenty of parking, and it was easy to maneuver. Parking was free. Registration :: The registration process was easy. The desk clerk was fast, efficient--and friendly. Interestingly, while registering, I was asked if I wanted to stay in the "North Tower" for a small upcharge ($20). I accepted the offer. Circus Circus has a number of towers. The North Tower is closest to the main floor, so it is a shorter walk to and from your room. And after a little research, I think it is the tower most recently renovated. (If you are booking, look for rooms labeled as "luxury".) Hotel Room :: The room was very nice. The colors and décor were relaxing. The carpet was clean; there weren't any noticeable stains, tears or wear spots. The beds were comfortable. The sheets were clean and white. The bathroom was clean. The towels were clean and in good condition. The furniture was clean without any significant nicks or chips to the surfaces. The room had a refrigerator, and it was clean and free of odors. The TV and Wi-Fi worked well. Management is also responsive. During my stay, while taking a shower, the water would back up a little. While checking out, I suggested to the desk clerk that maintenance might want to check things out before housekeeping cleaned the room. While I was packing, maintenance came to address the drain. Amenities :: I had two meals at two different restaurants within The Row. Those were fine. The only lackluster thing about the stay was gaming. There were plenty of slots and automated games on the Circus Circus casino floor. But all of the card tables were inactive; there were plaques inviting players to go over to The Silver Legacy for that. The sports book and cashier's desk had limited hours of operation--you go to Silver Legacy when the Circus Circus services are closed.

After upgrading to a "suite" we ended up with blood on the walls, hair stuck with who knows what to the ceiling, wet carpet and stained sheets and bedcover. Totally nasty. We were moved to another room with no "I'm sorry" or anything. Disgusting will never ever stay again.

I usually come here just for the arcade. It's pretty standard nothing too fancy but I do appreciate the variety of crane machines and the reasonable prices. The overall entertainment could use a bit of a boost, as it feels a little bland at times. Still, it's become one of our regular stops whenever we're in town.

I'm a fan of this place. While there is a smell of cigarette smoke in the air, and it is loud, it's fun. There are bright lights and exciting things to be found around every corner. Plenty of gift shops, restaurants, arcade games, cafes, a food court, and a large multi level casino. There are stairs, escalators, or even wheelchair lifts for disabled persons. This is a definite go to destination to checkout if you are ever in the area!

We had to visit Circus Circus one more time before it changes ownership and its fate hangs in the balance. The Sky Tower hasn't been renovated in years and is a nightmare to access. But the midway was still busy and lots of fun.

I really enjoyed my stay as always with Caesar's properties. I liked that all 3 were connected. The staff as always was helpful. Plenty of food options at any time. I came for Halloween and enjoyed the party and dj. Suggestion: I wanted to do online digital checkout thru the rewards app as I am a rewards member and use it frequently. When I went to check out it took me to the website and requested a password. I don't travel with my passwords so I could not do the easy checkout. Make the easy checkout digital thru the app is my suggestion so travelers don't have to worry about password. I do appreciate the security though.

This has been a horrible experience. We drove over 5 hours to attend a tournament. Upon arrival the staff was rude to a senior citizen we had in our party we were assigned a room that was not cleaned nor had anything been addressed. The bathroom was dirty still had pee In it the garbage was still in there from the person before used towels and the beds were not changed. After driving we just wanted to check in and relax. We tried calling the front desk no one answered again we are traveling with a disabled senior citizen and no compassion or empathy was shown. If it was t for the tournament we would leave especially after the rooms are not cheap either no compassion the health board and American disability association should pay you a visit. A majority of your consumers are elderly it's pathetic they are treated this way. If I could give zero starts that's what this place deserves everything can use improvement

For a hotel chain that has a reputation for being "Trashy" this Circus Circus was unexpectedly amazing! A nice big bathroom, 2 cozy beds, a BEAUTIFUL view of Reno, and a CONSTANTLY working A/C unit. Not to mention the perfect amount of family fun with the mix of the Casino, and Arcade! Coming here on weekdays DEFINITELY makes it more affordable, which made the experience even better. This will be my first pick if I'm ever to come back to Reno!

We had a long day and chopped it up with an arcade break and a circus midway show at circus circus. So much fun we got a bunch of stuffed animals we don't need and had a good time walking around. Food court was hustling at 9pm and the city was wide awake. Bring your kids or yourselves it was a great time. I thought it would look outdated but it seems pretty well maintained

Make sure housecleaning does their job. After traveling a couple of hours, we get to our room to find clothes on the floor, food in the fridge, stuff in drawers, and hair on the bathroom wall and floor. Absolutely disgusting. I do not trust that this place is even cleaned. Are the sheets clean? Was anything wiped down to kill germs? I doubt! We called and got another room, that took about an hour. Very frustrating.

The cashier, Everardo, at Yogurt Beach at the Circus Circus in downtown Reno went above and beyond to serve us and listen to us. Every business seeks an employee with the integrity, patience and kindness that Everardo demonstrated.

It's only four stars because the gal at the desk could've been nicer, but she was one of those who is reserved and tolerant of a stupid people and she makes sure that we understand that. Other than that, the room was perfectly clean and wonderful the other service people, including the security were very nice helping me find my room and lots of smiles when I left the next morning. So I'll stay there again for sure.

Paid an extra fee per night for a premium room. It came with a complimentary cockroach.

I had to choose this location due to work requirements. Otherwise, I would have never chosen to stay here. The fact that this place is even still standing is amazing. The rooms are very dated. No recent upgrades have been completed. The fact is that most preventive maintenance does not even seem to be a priority. The internet does not work in certain rooms. Even though you are supposed to have free internet when you stay here. I had to get moved from one room to the another room that was not even comparable to what I was paying for (went from room with a view to a room that you can't even look out the window due to it being frosted). This new room was so close to the ground level that you could hear music from the street. The bathroom toilet would not shut off unless I jiggled the internal mechanism to get it seat properly to fill the tank. Something that I should NEVER have to do. The only thing that was even remotely enjoyable (NOT REALLY) was the cheap coffee they give you for the room. Bring your own bottled water as that is not provided. On Thursday nights, there are some small food court stores that are not open which seems pretty standard since there are very few people even in the casino on a Thursday evening. I will check again on Friday evening to see if there are more options open. My recommendation...don't come to Circus Circus - Reno. It is a waste of time and money.

BEWARE: Do not use the resort credits, dining credits, or any credits offered by The ROW. As long-time guests, we have consistently been given misleading information. We were told we had resort and dining credits and followed the directions provided by the rewards center, who we were told are the experts. only to end up being charged. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the hotel refuses to reverse the charges or take accountability for their employees' actions. I fail to understand how this could be the guest's responsibility when the hotel has admitted it was their fault. This is unacceptable and will be the last time I stay here. I will also make sure to inform all my friends and family about this experience so they avoid staying here as well.

This review is for Circus-Circus hotel, it will be our last time we ever stay here. Extremely long lines to check-in & for service elevators. We gave this a pass due to check-in time but throughout the whole weekend it was an issue. Let's now talk about CHECKOUT, we did an early check out at 10:00am and waited 1 1/2hr to get an elevator(mind you we were on the 27th floor). We were informed that it would be over an hr for an elevator and to head back to our rooms? Finally security escorted us to there service elevators to be able to leave. Reading all the other reviews it seems this is an on-going issues to no solution. If you plan on staying here plan to WAIT LONG LINES.

This no place to kids for fun!!! Need to update games. Arcade is smaller then one you would see in a mall Save you $$ Don't do it !
