Ciro's

I got the tomato soup with meatballs and the beef goulash with fries. Both were amazing. Pour the goulash on the fries. I was so full! Will definitely come back. Thanks for squeezing me in!

Nice decor and old time vibe with attentive service. The bone marrow on toast, and snails were really tasty entrées. To follow, Perfectly cooked rump and fillet steaks accompanied by fries that were dry and the salad had no kind of vinaigrette which put a small minus on an otherwise fantastic dinner, cheers Ciro's

Excellent flemish stew/beef carbonnade. Meat was incredibly fork-tender in a rich sauce, generous portion with a delicious side of frites and/or puree. Service can be a bit curt or inattentive if you’re a new comer but otherwise a nice traditional bistro atmosphere. Reservations highly recommended or you’ll probably be turned away.

This restaurant was recommended by our AirBNB host, and I’m happy that he told us about it. Great food which many might call unique. Great service. The place itself is also nice. Nothing too exciting, but I just love those traditional places. Portions are generous - we had 1 starter and 2 mains and couldn’t get to deserts. We were full. And happy. Mostly full. And happy.

British family on holiday and found this amazing gem. The inside remains unchanged for 40 years or so, service was smooth and very friendly staff. We are snails to share and then Ciro’s steak and kidneys and steak tartare. Delicious food . We also sat next to a nice Belgian family next to us.

It felt like going back in time… to a time when restaurants were not very good. The shrimp cocktail was super fishy and made us feel slightly nauseous. The Entrecôte steak was tough and unseasoned. The fries were embarrassingly bad. Service was good, but I would certainly not eat here again nor recommend it.

Did not have a great experience. Nobody picks up the phone when you want to reserve a spot. Then via mail, the owner stated that there would be place on the heated porch. When arriving, the heaters where not on and the staff told me it would cost too much to put it on.. Service was good. Food was not great, my steak was not warm, not juicy and just had a plasticy feel? The escargots did not have any seasoning and the sauce straight up tasted like oil.

Classic Steakhouse Vibes This is a true old-school steak restaurant. The ciro steak was excellent—cooked exactly how it should be, with great flavor and attention to detail. Service was top-notch, with plenty of staff on the floor making sure everything ran smoothly. The only drawback is the decor—it could use a bit of an update to match the quality of the food and service.

Excellent food, very kind service, relaxed atmosphere, wines at a reasonable price - but if you don't know Dutch, don't forget to have the parts of the menu you don't understand translated by Monsieur Haesaerts as Ciro's offers a lot of innards. If I'll be in Antwerp ever again, I'll come back to Ciro's.

This place exists for such a long time already.... Famous Belgian people (actors, singers...) can be spotted there. Popular with groups. It's a retro style interior, like time stood still. Everything is delicious, succulent steaks but quite pricey. That's the only reason I only go there occasionally.

Arrived with high expectations (parking is scarse btw). Interior and atmosphere are unique, flashback and cosy. Crowd mainly lawyers. Food is good, classic but not exceptional. Dessert came right out of freezer : Frozen chocolate mousse and tasteless profiteroles. No 5 stars, but will try it again.

I wouldn't recommend Ciro's at all. Though the food was good, the service ruined our dinner. You are rushed to order, eat and pay so to maximise the number of tables. In a nutshell, an industry. Everything looks fake. It is a very inpersonal and artificial place.
