While traveling in London, I had the pleasure of discovering Ciro’s Pizza Pomodoro, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Without a doubt, it’s the best restaurant experience I’ve had here. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such warmth and friendliness that we immediately felt at home. The atmosphere is vibrant and unforgettable, with a perfect blend of cozy charm and lively energy. The live music added something really special to the evening, creating a joyful and relaxed environment that made us want to stay longer and simply enjoy the moment. And the food — absolutely incredible! The pizzas are authentic, fresh, and full of flavor, clearly made with high-quality ingredients and real passion. Every dish we tried was delicious, and you can truly taste the care put into the cooking. It felt like a little slice of Italy right in the heart of London. What really made the experience stand out was the staff’s friendliness and attention. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests happy. Ciro’s Pizza Pomodoro – Italian Restaurant & Bar is far more than just a place to eat; it’s a full evening of authentic Italian charm and entertainment. Fantastic restaurant - dimly lit but lively! Live music post 9pm at night. Reservation advised - often full up well in advance due to its popularity. Has been a Knightsbridge hotspot for the hip and trendy, film stars, famous personalities, as well as us ordinary folk for a long, long time with owner Ciro still bobbing about in the restaurant! Good for some fun in the evening (but perhaps not the best place for a quiet, romantic dinner though). Pizzas are not bad, Cajun Chicken and Eggplant Parmesan pretty good. Recommended for a bit of late night fun with live music with friends and family (and who knows - someone famous may walk in!).

I recently celebrated my birthday here and it was absolutely amazing – one of the best birthdays of my life. We enjoyed every moment: the service was impeccable, the waiters were incredibly friendly, and the owner is simply lovely. We had the pleasure of enjoying the Thursday Latin Night music, which made the evening even more special. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We visited Chiro’s, a beautiful Italian place with classic décor and genuinely delicious pizza. The atmosphere was great, and our waitress was kind and welcoming. However, one moment really broke the mood for us. While we were simply dancing in our own space—minding our business and bothering no one—we were asked to stay away from the dance floor “because there are girls.” That comment was shocking and hurtful. No one had complained, and we are respectful people who would never make anyone uncomfortable. We were customers too, just enjoying the evening like everyone else. Later, when I spoke to him, he did apologise, and I appreciate that. But unfortunately, an apology doesn’t bring the mood back once it’s broken. I completely understand boundaries. If someone had complained, if we had crossed a line, or if anyone had felt uncomfortable—even a look showing discomfort—we would have stepped back immediately. But all the guests were simply having fun. No one seemed bothered, and nothing inappropriate was happening. Everything else about the place was lovely, but feeling singled out and judged took away the joy of the night. Sadly, because of this experience, we won’t be coming back

Everything is perfect. From the service to the live music, everything is wonderful. The waiters are all incredibly kind and always in a great mood, and the owner, Ciro, is warm-hearted, charismatic, and constantly attentive to his guests and their well-being. I would come back here again and again.

Crazy place with very nice food I always love to visit this place at least once whenever I M in london . I love it and I love everything about it.

It was a valentine’s night out with my partner, first time at Ciro’s Pizza Pomodoro. The food was amazing and quite fast even it was super busy. The place had live music with breaks between songs. Overall I was happy to try this, but probably not a Valentine’s Day or some busy day like this as it was super crowded and loud, we couldn’t hear each other. If you look for good food and drinks and loud music, then it has all that. Also we got a grift :)

Best place by far in London for food and some entertainment. Try the mushrooms and breadsticks!!

Arriving back at my hotel late after watching City take on Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, I ordered delivery from Ciro's Pizza Pomodoro with them being only one of three suitable locations I could order from on UberEATS, who satisfy a gluten-free diet and with rival pizza chains including Domino's closed (Interesting how they close really early in London?), I decided to try it out today after being impressed by the gluten-free selection, reasonable prices (Margherita pizza £8.95 with extra toppings for £1.70), and even a fun celebrity-themed menu, for example, the "Tom Cruise favourite" was fresh tomato sauce with tuna, anchovies, olives, capers and onions with a touch of garlic for £14.95. Moving back to my experience - I ordered a gluten free margarita with pepperoni which came to £10.70 in total, overall for a gluten-free delivered pizza this is really good value with Domino's charging almost double for a similar pizza, and Pizza Hut has a lower cost per base but this is ruled irrelevant as you have to spend more to get the delivery. The pizza was decent quality, it is often hard to find good quality food late at night, especially which delivers and that is shown by the fact I had the choice between three restaurants and my hotel room service. In most parts the pizza base was seasoned well, it was doughy at times but overall the base and its' toppings were great quality. I also liked how the restauraunt established their brand and many parts of my order taken thought and care, they noticed I was in a hotel and attached cutterly and rather cool branded napkins, using initiative which is smart, cool and awesome. Improvements such as increasing the range of sides to go with the gluten-free pizza, and making sure the base is good throughout, rather than being doughy at times should be made, but I was really impressed by Ciro's Pizza Pomodoro to the point where I feel they've done enough to warrant a four-star rating due to very good standards of competitive pricing, food and service.

Way back in the 80s this was the ultimate Sloane Ranger hangout, Princess Diana was a regular ... an ex used to take me here on midweek dates for music and pizza. It's never been about the food and it is actually quite comforting that a place like Ciro's survives the trends and continues to be just as buzzing as ever. The demographics may have changed somewhat but the overall vibe remains the same. My last visit was a late one when most other places had shut and we were lucky to be allowed in for last orders and the final chords of some amazing live music with an Oriental flair. Even had a little chat with Ciro about the good old days - truly admire the stamina!

Too cramped, too loud, food and service are below average. Yes, I get the highlight of the place is that they have live music. But are we seriously THAT desperate to hear crappy live music? I think I would rather grab a quick sandwich and go outside to listen to a homeless man singing his version of John Lennon's "Imagine". Out of all the good restaurants in London, there are way better options for good food and atmosphere. Seriously, unless you are absolutely in dire need of some live singing while you eat and can't find it anywhere else....I would definitely not recommend Ciros.

Let's start by establishing that you don't come here for the food. I agree with what others have said here - WAY too much garlic on the pizzas, and it is all overpriced. That said, the atmosphere they create is really great, and the service was very attentive. It's loud and cramped (so definitely not the place to go if it's sophistication you're after), but as a big group looking for a fun night it was perfect. The live band is a really good touch and the singer was amazing! It's very good for getting everyone in a party mood, and we were all dancing round the table by the end. Be careful with the cocktails - at £14 a pop these add up very quickly. We also bought the birthday girl a tray of 8 shots which it turned out were £70 (ouch). All in all it's a fun and very different experience - the sort of place everyone should try at least once if living in London!

Terrible pizza and overpriced. The basic margherita pizza was comparable to cheap Dominos which left me feeling sick to my stomach. A vodka soda is 9.50£. Expensive for hardly mediocre food and drink. It was also my birthday and they brought over shots and a slice of cake that we didn't ask for, which totaled to 46£. The staff was rude when we asked about why they brought over these items when we did not order them. I would not come back here or recommend it to anyone.

I challenge you to name another place in London that offers all of the following: *An enormous menu with every type of pizza imaginable named after Italian American actors *Walls covered from floor to ceiling with gratuitous celebrity pictures *An Elvis impersonator in an authentic white rhinestone jumpsuit *Aforementioned Elvis impersonator sharing some love on your birthday with a dedication, chocolate cake and pyrotechnic candles *Lots of room for groups, and a healthy selection of shots (I recommend the greyhounds) WIN!

This place is loud, corny and overpriced. The food is nothing extraoridinaire, and a small pizza will set you back 12 pounds. Service is slow, and the blaring music will keep you companied for a couple hours after you leave. 2 hours and my ears are still ringing. Its impossibe to hear someone 45 cms away from you. If you like good food on a quiet spot, this is not the place. Blaring music, overpriced pizza and bad taste? Please, go ahead.

A great place to spend an evening out with your friends! Came here with my girlfriends for a quick drink and ended up staying all night long) Every Tuesday they have so called 'Ladies night'. Basically when u order any main course, all ladies get a glass of procecco on the house and 50% off all wines by the glass. It was fun ;) home made lasagna and garlic mushrooms is a must try!! I'm not a big fun of pizza, but my girls said it was yumm :)

This little pizza place occupies a basement on Beauchamp Pl. Everything's really low-lit... you feel like you're in some kind of little village in Italy - aside from the pics of celebs on the wall who've eaten there. There's usually live music... but the one time I was there with a friend it was a woman loudly performing a mix of pop/rock on the close stage - this really makes for a very fun and lively environment. It's honestly hard to decide which pizza to choose from on the menu... there are *tons* of offerings that all sounded amazing... everything from the crazy-unique combos to your standard Italian. Quite a few are named after the celebs who've eaten here - I believe I got the "Humphrey Bogart," which turned out to be a really good-sized pizza...my friend and I each got our own, but we definitely could have shared. The pizzas don't come with a ton of sauce or toppings... and are a little thrown together, but I still enjoyed what I had. The staff here are also characters... but it's a pretty long process of waiting to have your order taken... and then another long wait for the food to actually arrive. But this is a great place for a fun night out... as much for the food as for the animated atmosphere.

This place gave birth to a chain of Italian restaurants. For my birthday party I found this jazz cellar. It is tucked away behind Knightsbridge and has a good atmosphere every night. I made a reservation, as we were a group of 10 girls. There are not many tables and it is rather small and charming. The room is all black with no windows. The photos of the stars form yesterday are covering the wall. Ciros is a celebrity by himself; there is not one picture where he isn't Arm in Arm with a star like Sophia Loren or posing with James Bond. I remember how it got quite stuffed before the smoker ban in there, but not anymore. The band literally plays next to your table, they sang happy birthday and the restaurant even prepared a birthday cake. Even though this place is named Ciros Pizza Pomodoro, the pizzas are really not for what you go for. The pizza is not a hit. But for the jazz, the life band, the glamour and the fun atmosphere this place is an ass and has to be visited by any Londoner. Every night from 9pm there is life music. Regular visitors know it is all about sharing tables, drinks and good times.

It's rare that I find myself on Beauchamp Place in Knightsbridge. It is not exactly my price bracket. One night though, I was taken on a date here, and thought it was one of the best settings to have a fun date. This place is noisy, fast paced and does simple, unfussy Italian. It is basically a pizzeria. The pizzas are the best thing to order on the menu. If you can get past the slightly cheesy memorabilia on the walls - the restaurant is a haunt of celebrities of Yesteryear - pictures on the wall are of visits from Sly Stallone, the Trumps, rock stars etc, then you will have a great time. Sometimes in the week, there is live music. This makes the place even noisier. You may find yourself shouting to hear yourself speak. The price of the food is not that expensive, the house red is absolutely fine, its a fun place to go with friends or a date. All in all, it is worth making the trek to Knightsbridge.

A sneaky find, probably wouldn't know about this gem unless someone told u (or u perhaps used Yelp! :-) ) This was our second visit here with the same group of friends, who are the ones that introduced us to this place two weeks ago. Hidden down a narrow corridor off Beauchamp place down some steps to an apparently seedy looking venue! However once inside you realise that isn't the case and it's just a banging atmosphere full of people who have come for the same reason as you.... The excellent live music. We didn't get there till 9.15 as that's when the music starts. We were seated in a large round table in the corner, even though we had specially requested a table right in the middle so that was a slight disappointment. Drinks started flowing and we ordered starters; we did a Mediterranean platter and the meat platter and bruschetta for the table to share. We also had some main courses, I had the Pollo al Funghi and Sir had the Tortellini al Funghi. All the food was nice, you are really not here for food per say, just an excuse to all get together and listen to the live band. Def recommend a visit here, but be sure to book in advance as it's always jammed!

This restaurant serves the biggest garlic bread starter I have EVER seen in my life, its bigger than their pizza's, I swear ... so make sure you only order 1 between 3 (or 2 if you really can't resist and have a tum big enough to cope). As soon as you enter into the restaurant, you know you are in for an experience - you clank down the metal fire-escape type stairs and as soon as you open the door, the noise hits you! The decor is very dark and red (as you may expect from the name ... tomatoes!), every single piece of wall-space has photos, posters etc on it - lovely to look at, but you won't be looking at them for too long as the place is just totally mad! Definitely a group place - you all get piled onto tables where you don't really have much room to breathe, but its all part of the fun! Very pricey for a pizza (think it goes with the neighbourhood) as a bottle of rose wine, 2 pizzas and a garlic bread for starters came to over £70. BUT the food was delicious, the wine served perfectly and I'd much rather pay to eat here and have a fabulous time with people who you don't know - but soon will! - rather than pay to get into a club or bar. Only given 4 stars because it doesn't sell the worlds best pizza - but close!

Ordered a delivery online, forgot to bring me my sparkling water, forgot to bring me a fork or spoon for the lasagna, the only thing they did not forget is charging me $20 for the smallest pizza I have ever seen in my life (it was old and cold when it got to me). Terrible decision to order food from them, avoid!

This is actually a really good pizza. Very flavorful, the atmosphere is very interesting, and Ciro is a great guy! Cant wait to get back.

This place was fantastic on Saturday night - we didn't have a reservation but they were very accommodating and the service was fantastic. Orders were quickly taken and my pizza was amazing - the super thin crust was great and I devoured the entire enormous pizza in one sitting (no leftovers, sadly).

Poor quality food, too much garlic to make up for a lack of flavour. The pizza is on par with Dominos unfortunately. A shame as the atmosphere is this cosy basement restaurant with live music all nights of the week is really fun.

This place was amazing! Can't even explain how much I loved my dinner. I got a tortellini dish that was about the best I've ever eaten. The place is small, loud with a bunch of photos of famous patrons. Didn't matter a bit. Hubby had pizza and loved it too.

If you go into this place understanding what it is before hand, you will enjoy your experience. It is small, cramped and intimate with your neighbours and staff which is what makes it a good atmosphere. The food is good, but that is not why you come here. Live music and the crowds are the draw. When inside you will see the walls covered with pictures of celebrities that feels the same way. We met Ciro the night we were there, and his nefew Ciro, and one of the waitors who were all from Naples which was rather interesting considering we live in Monterusciello, so we had lots to talk about. Staff was all very friendly and could not do enough for us. As a result we ate way too much.

Oh I love this place so much! I can no longer count the number of times I have been, and I have never been bored of it, or tired of it's food or ambiance. It's impossible!! First of all, their pizzas are the best I've had in the UK. And if you don't believe me, take a look at the celebrity recommendations beside each pizza on the menu. (Note - it's often fun to pick your pizza by choice of the celebrity whose name is attached to it). The service is outstanding and the atmosphere unbeatable. It's the best place to go with a group of 5 or more - anything more intimate will not experience the overall buzz of the place in quite the same way. After all, intimacy is impossible in such a tiny little restaurant! There is just enough room for a stage at the front, where live music belts out all the songs you know the words to, and by the end of the night you will be dancing with the people at the table next to you, all the while declaring that you have just had the best night of your life.

This place offers some of the best pizzas I've tasted the staff are friendly, and you are sure to have a good time. The decor is very dark, but laden with photos of celebrities who have visited or tasted pizza pomodoro. Its a loud buzzy restaurant, which was perfect for us!

Not kid-friendly is an understatement! My two kids, 10 and 12 years old, tried to eat here at 8:30pm last Saturday night. We picked it because of good Yelp reviews and our vacation rental is right across the street. We walked in, maybe half or less than half the tables were filled----we were IMMEDIATELY told by somebody that looked like the manager, who did not have an ipad or reservation book to refer to, that they were "fully booked". And that was all that was said. Could we have felt even less welcome?

Trendy little place with a very good ambiance. Its small and this is what makes this place Cozy, it really is a little gem that is hidden below a flight of stairs. I gave it 4 stars because i thought the pizza could have been a bit better, in all honesty it was a bit bland. The mushroom appetiser was very good though. Would like to go again just for the atmosphere, this little place rocks.

We did not have a reservation, so we had to wait for 2 hours for a crowded table. However, they served us at the bar while waiting and the food was delicious. The place was active lots of action with live music. Best pizzas in London. Check it out.

Nice atmosphere, traditional pizzas and excellent music background

WARNING - only the "regulars" get good treatment here. I went with my son on Father's Day - we arrived before 8:00 to ensure that we would have a table for the entertainment, which would start at 9:00. When we arrived, only two other tables were occupied. I was shocked when the waitress told us that we would have to "give up" our table when the entertainment started. I asked to see the manager because the website clearly stated no reservations could be made on Sunday. He told me that the website was wrong and all the tables were booked. I asked him how all those people would know that they could book on Sunday, and he told me they were "regulars". I explained to him that we had traveled across London, reminded him it was Father's Day and asked if we could stay for the entertainment. He told me I could leave and turned his back. Will never return - there are so many other restaurants that will treat you better. Choose one of those (unless, of course you like to be treated like we were).
