"Nantucket’s Cisco Brewers have established a mainland presence in Portsmouth, where they’ve taken over the Redhook Pub, which has been rebranded the Cisco Brewers Portsmouth Pub. It remains under the ownership of the Craft Brew Alliance. The pub will be temporarily closed from June 19 to the 21 for renovations, but the outdoor beer garden will remain open, and the inside will reopen with a new menu and Cisco beers at 11 a.m. There will be a party at 6 p.m. on June 22 with food trucks, games, live music, and wine and spirits." - Dana Hatic

Excellent spot to grab a bite, listen to live music, and enjoy a drink or two. Very relaxed atmosphere with an inviting vibe. Food was excellent as were the drinks. One of the few local breweries that I've been to that pour more than just beer. They were offering specialty fall cocktails when we visited and that made my wife happy😊. I wanted to be able to rate their establishment higher but they were out of pretzels and the specific beer I was hoping for😢. Couldn't let that one slide. Everyone needs pretzels 🥨 with beer🍺. Hopefully next time I stop in I'll get the full experience. Nonetheless do not miss out on this experience. It is a great place to visit.

Google
Large brewery. Great outdoor area. There was a wait when we went on a Saturday but we were able to grab a table in the non reserved part. Dog friendly. Large grass area. Sand bar. There was a live reggae band. Food came out quickly. Beer was delicious.

Google
This is a massive brewery by craft beer standards, but the space is run like a smaller local brewpub. The food is OK, the outside space is huge and fantastic, the beer is better than I remembered, especially the small batch options which have a more craft beer feel and flavor to them. They are really set up well for live music.

The building is impressive but the beer is only OK. I miss Red Hook. Out of your Gourd Pumpkin Porter and ESB were great. The lumberjack competition however is spectacular and a must see.

Google
Has it all - good beer, food, staff and venue. I just wish they would give you a “pint”of beer, 16 oz or close to it as stated on the menu, not one in a 12 oz cup. This is a large brewpub - they’re either open inside or outside (depending on the weather) for now due (July 2022) to not having enough staff to cover both.

Formerly the Redhook Brewery, this place is still very cool and perhaps a bit of an improvement from what was already a great restaurant and brewery. We sat outside on the patio on a very hot day and were not disappointed 1) Because there was ample covered seating in the shade, 2) Cooling/misting fans in two places around the patio, and 3) A large igloo cooler set out so you could stay hydrated. This area is also extremely dog friendly. There’s a bar out on the patio with walk up drink and food service. Bigger menu and full table service inside but the outside menu was just fine for apps and light lunch. Very friendly staff and seamless experience. Highly recommend. They also host many social events which look like lots of fun. A band was setting up outside around 4:30 just before we left.

Went here for the New Year's Day Brunch. Great food and live music. Also enjoyed our beer, the Grey Lady Ale.

Google
Love this place! Was here a long time ago when it was Red Hook. Beer and food was great. Service was nice.

Gabriela S.

Yelp
Very cold ambiance, and cool when not busy as place is huge with no carpets, etc. IN the winter months gets cold in here. The food was very good, the service bit slow, prices bit high for pub food.

Holly W.

Yelp
Ample parking. Cool interior- very modern, beachy. A LOT of merch. Staff was not overly friendly, actually two waitresses tried tending to our table like a territory issue. The wings were terrible. No seasoning. The Thai chili sauce was on the side and was disgusting! The pretzel was overpriced for the size (we go to a lot of breweries so I feel I know this to be true.) The cheese was super liquidy. The BBQ sauce is very vinegary. The burger was good and so were the onion straws. Curly fries need seasoning. I had a hard time wrapping my brain around he Nantucket push until I asked someone. It's a transplant brewery started in Nantucket. I get it now. Wish it repped Portsmouth a little, seen as we were visiting.

Yelp
I'd give zero stars if I could. Attended the CAKE concert last night which was supposed to start at 8. At 8:20 an announcement was made and they told to leave due to thunder and lightning with no plan to update us if the show was going to happen. Parking was quite far from the venue and we were expected to wait in our cars until the storm passed when the forecast didn't show it passing anytime soon. They should have formally canceled but didn't want to provide a refund so they left us all hanging instead. Staff members were telling people not to come back and that the show was canceled. Terrible communication and a very expensive concert that we didn't get to see.

Ellen D.

Yelp
Attended a Cake concert here! Concert should have been cancelled due to lightening! They told us to wait in our cars until storm passed. Parking areas are far away! Staff told us concert was eventually cancelled. But Cake eventually played! (Only for about an hour with a half hour dialog about a tree! Refund money! Inadequate food trucks, no safety plan for lightening and sub par show! No one was in charge! Hampton Beach Casino is also to blame as a sponsor of this event!

Michael B.

Yelp
We were on site at Cisco for the Cake concert when the producers announced the show was delayed and instructed all attendees to leave for their cars. At no time did the announcers state how they would communicate updates with attendees regarding the show. We were among scores of attendees who took shelter under the permanent awning adjacent to the main Cisco building. Show security announced that the show was CANCELED and that all attendees must leave. We, as did many others, sought to confirm that the show was CANCELED, not simply delayed. Show security repeatedly informed us it was CANCELED. We returned to our car and departed for home in Massachusetts, 30 minutes away. Upon arriving near home, we received an email at 9:21 p.m. stating the show would resume shortly. At that point, by the time we returned to Cisco, we would have missed a good portion of the event. Given the fact that show security explicitly told us the show was canceled and was not going to proceed, we feel Cisco should refund our ticket price and fees for the show. Now, some 24 hours later, Cisco still hasn't responded to any of the literally hundreds if comments on its Facrbook page. This tells me they are not a customer-focused business. Buyer beware.

Yelp
Party of 9. Why is it so cold inside. We asked the hostess and then our waitress- she said "they turned the heat off". It was 50 degrees inside. The wait staff was lovely & the live music is fine but when you're shouting at your friends while shivering and laughing at the ridiculousness - we will not be back.

Casey A.

Yelp
Friends and I drove up to Cisco from Boston one day because it was one of the last warm days before winter. I'm not sure what I expected but I thought this would feel more like a brewery + restaurant, but it felt more like a restaurant that happened to have its own beers? The beer was fine/what I expected. They had good seasonal offerings. My friends got cocktails that they seemed pretty meh about. They were fine. A friend also got their wine and we did not love that at all. We all got food as well. I was impressed with the shrimp poboy. It had really big shrimp, well cooked. My only complaint was the bread was too hard. Overall the food was decent. The service was also just fine. We felt somewhat forgotten about during our meal, but then rushed to finish eating when the server tried to clear our table while we were still clearly eating. The area itself is really nice. Great for dogs and kids to run around. There were some kids kicking a soccer ball around. Overall, it was fine. I wouldn't be in a rush to get back here but wouldn't not go back too.

Yelp
This seemed like such a fun spot to see a show. It ended up being the worst experience I have ever had in my decades of concert going. If you need to shut down a show you need to communicate with people! Wasted 3 tickets and hours of my life. If we get a refund I'll update my review.

Cindy H.

Yelp
I went to the Cake concert, and the show was delayed due to lightning. They told people to wait in their cars and take shelter, but the hundreds of people who took Uber/Lyft to get there had nowhere to go. People were told the show was canceled, so they left. Apparently, Cake came on after 9:30 p.m., but the Cisco staff did a horrible job notifying people. Maybe rethink your inclement weather plan for future events and, at the least, acknowledge how poorly the event was handled. For anyone looking for a refund, either Cisco or Cake, or both are denying the requests.

Kristie E.

Yelp
Absolute horrible experience at the Cake concert. And horrible response to people's complaints. Avoid this place!!

Bill W.

Yelp
Beer and service was good. The nachos were very lackluster. We're big nacho eaters and we thought that these were a little lame. Didn't eat anything else. The beers are worth a try.

King B.

Yelp
Fun spot for a concert. Saw, Roots of Creation, there last night and they were awesome performing their Grateful Dub set. Super high energy and the crowd was literally all smiles. The concert was supposed to be outside rain or shine but after rain damaged some gear before the show even started the band decided to perform indoors. Cozy and intimate experience with lots of different cocktails and beers to choose from. The service was pleasant and the vibe was immaculate. I would definitely recommend a visit for a show. The menu looks average but I did not try any food.

Gwyn B.

Yelp
ZERO stars. Don't waste your money going to a show at Cisco Brewers Portsmouth. If the band miraculously ends up playing after you have been ORDERED to evacuate by their staff because the show is canceled, they will expect you to know this and somehow still be there to see it. WORST customer service experience in my life. Multi-million dollar owners ripping us off. They treat their customers like garbage.

Matthew L.

Yelp
Came up to see a concert. They let hundreds and hundreds of people onto their property. They were not prepared for that many people. The show was set for 8:00 and around 8:20 a guy got on the PA advised everyone there was some weather approaching and it wasn't safe. The guy on the PA told everyone to return to their cars (whoops, many people Ubered there), then the security staff told everyone the show was canceled. They also told everyone we could not enter the interior of their ENORMOUS facility. When I said to the person in the yellow security shirt that we Ubered and didn't have a car to return to, they told us there was a hotel nearby and we could probably wait in their lobby. When I asked if they could point the direction of the hotel, they couldn't and then told me to check my phone. Well, there were so many people there the cell signal was overwhelmed so we couldn't access the internet. Anyway, we got out (eventually). And even though security personnel said the show was canceled, we later found out they let people back in. I would say they were not prepared for the number of concertgoers they allowed on their property and that if they had any kind of disaster procedure their personnel failed to execute it or perhaps were never trained in the first place. Also, Cisco's beer was not even mediocre.

Brian D.

Yelp
I hate to be the one to add on to this mess of a concert but... yeah. I've been going to concerts for 35 years and not one had been handled as poorly as the Cake show. Everyone saw that thunderstorms were possible all day before the show yet 'rain or shine' was stated in every email communication, so there was plenty of time to call this for another day. Nope. Promoter and Cisco went forward. No surprise when lightning started and the show was 20 minutes late, and then say say 'we need to hold up because of potential lightning', but the directions that followed? Complete chaos. Wait in your cars until 'you know'? What about everyone that was urged to rideshare in that hectic exit? Why did your staff/security tell people it was cancelled because storms were happening until at least 11PM? And then... actually have the show and only announce by an email? Why no use of social media? Just a disaster... and, of course, because they 'had the show', no refunds. Poor communication, no plan for weather, waste of time/money. Sorry Cisco, you or your middling beer will never get another dime from me

Jen M.

Yelp
Do not buy tickets for any event where weather is potentially an issue. Attended CAKE concert here on Thursday and when lightning began we were told to evacuate and the show was cancelled by security. Hours later there was a post that the gates were reopened and the show went on. Terrible communication and no cooperation from venue or promoter. Expensive waste of money and huge disappointment

Melissa M.

Yelp
staff was not welcoming, and made our group feel like we shouldn't have come. The food was deliciou, but not worth the trip.

John S.

Yelp
I went here after work with a few friends for a quick beer. The atmosphere was nice, staff were friendly and I had the Wandering Haze IPA which was very good. We also had a order of the soft pretzels . Will definitely be going again, a plus being right down the street from my work.

Joan H.

Yelp
This place in Portsmouth is a brewery that has music in an outside area great during Covid... This is the second year we have tried to get to see this band The Soggy Po Boys who the piano player (middle guy in blue) is a relative of a friend. Finally made it great time... great food!

Missy T.

Yelp
Checked this place out on a whim while in Portsmouth for some shopping. I loved the outdoor set up and the live music. We honestly weren't expecting live music in the middle of the day but we were pleasantly surprised! Plenty of seating options outside with umbrellas for shade. It was so hot and humid, we were thankful for the little bit of shade. Service was fast but it felt like our server was rushing us a bit when we first got there. I was trying to download the QR code menu on my phone with spotty service and she was standing there staring at me which was uncomfortable. A lot of beers to choose from! I got the Pina Pina Pina which was a pineapple tripel with 11.5% ABV. It was so smooth and delicious but definitely got me buzzed. My second beer was Sneaches get Peaches- a session peach IPA. Very yummy and my favorite of the two I tried. My boyfriend got Orange You Glad IPA and Gripah Grapefruit IPA- both were good! We also got an order of soft pretzels with mustard and onion chive dip....this was OK. I felt like the pretzels were frozen pretzels you get at the store and they were very, very salty. The onion chive dip mostly tasted like Philadelphia chive cream cheese. These did not wow me at all. We'll stick to the beer next time! Definitely a family friendly place! We saw a lot of kids and also dogs!

Michelle G.

Yelp
Friendly staff. Good food. Draft beer was excellent. Will definitely come back for the live music events.

Trevor W.

Yelp
Somewhat disappointing experience! Hit up the outdoor spot this passed Saturday and had high expectations based on Red Hooks former visits. Was looking to grab a few beers and listen to the dude who was playing music but was told it was table service only and that there was a 20 minute wait. The patio was maybe 1/2 full which was incredibly confusing. They offered us the option to purchase canned cocktails but we were looking for draft beer. Once finally seated, service was slow which was expected. It appeared there were 2, maybe 3 waitresses and the inside restaurant was closed. Totally understand they may have staffing challenges, as does everybody, but it would seem that they're missing out by not offering walk up bar service. Id even wager to say they'd be better off doing both walk up and food service, they'd move more people and make more money. Over all, big space wasted. Wicked bummah.

Ray R.

Yelp
Absolutely the best brewery food in the northeast. This is how they do fish and chips!

Dan W.

Yelp
Not impressed with this places money grabbing techniques, or their beer. Went to see a small concert there. The main brewery is closed as it was a Wednesday. But when you pull into the parking lot they have the audacity to charge $10 for parking. Seriously? Worked our way into the outdoor venue space where they sell 12 ounce beers in plastic cups for $8 each. Of which, they had exactly 4 beers to choose from. Tried two, both were mediocre at best. You'd think they could at least provide a clean bathroom space. Lol, don't count on it. Porta-potties in all their glory. Unimpressed overall. Not sure why I expected anything different from Anheuser Busch.

Matthew U.

Yelp
I'm gonna be honest with y'all when I came here, I thought I was lost and at the wrong place. This just feels totally out of place with where it is located at. I thought I was at an office instead of a restaurant, that is until I looked closer and saw the outside patio area. The places you find using the Yelp app never ceases to amaze me. I was hungry after a long trip and finishing up the day with errands. I wanted to have a good meal before settling in for the night. I came at the right time here because the place wasn't too full. I was seated almost immediately and had a menu in hand. I was also given a few minutes to look over the menu. The menu is small but has the right combination of items to offer. Once my server came back I asked what the difference was between the two fish dishes. The more expensive (best way to describe it) was a much bigger portion, the lesser expensive one was a sandwich. I had asked if one would be like fish and chips and she said that the smaller portion could be served without a bun and be considered that, so that the one I went with. After the order went in I was contemplating for a beer to go with. I had asked about the different ones they have on tap and instead of describing it, I was given a sample, which is much better to make a decision instead of thinking what it might taste like. So with that, I decided on Shark Tracker draft. Great taste, not too heavy and went amazingly with my meal. When my meal did arrive, I was surprised. Because when I was told that it is less food, it did not look like less food. The sandwich was a decent size and the rest of the plate was filled with hand cut fries. This also came with a pickle to round out the plate. There was barely any empty space on the plate. The Napa slaw went well with the fish for the sandwich. Great taste combination. And who can complain about hand cut fries? After I finished my meal I had asked my server what there was to do around the area as I had no real agenda while I was here. She gave me some pretty great suggestions so that I had some idea on what do to with my time here. I did end up going into Portsmouth and do some walking around, she was right, it's like a mini Boston. Thank you for taking the time to give me your insight on the area.

Ronaldo P.

Yelp
This place is awesome. My friends for 40 years band is playing reggae there today Father's Day happy Father's Day everybody. Go Jah spirit thank you for having them every year Cisco.!

Traci H.

Yelp
I would give them a zero if I could. Bought tickets for the Cake show and it started to pour and thunder and lightning. We were told to return to our vehicles for safety with no clarification about how they would communicate it the show would still happen. After standing under the awning because we were afraid to walk back to our vehicles in the storm, we were told by the security staff that the show was cancelled and to leave. They made us walk in a thunder and lightning storm and our vehicle was parked over 10 minutes away putting everyone in danger. As they were shuffling everyone out during the storm it didn't stop them from selling drinks and merch though. After I got home about an hour and half after telling us the show was cancelled, they sent an email saying the show was back on. It was almost 10 PM at this point and it was too late to come back so we never got to see the show. Not to mention it was still thunder and lightning out. Also, we were told this was a cashless event but most of the food trucks only accepted cash. I feel bad for the vendors that lost out on business as well as all the people that paid a lot of money on tickets to see this show only to be told it was cancelled and to go home. You can't cancel an event and then change your mind an hour and half later after telling people to go home. This was the mostly poorly run event I have ever attended in my life. Everyone is asking for a refund and eight days later we have heard nothing. NOT even an apology! I tried contacting Casino Ballroom, Cisco Brewery and ticket master about this fiasco but have not gotten a response from anyone in charge. Clearly there was NO ONE in charge of this event. They should be ashamed of themselves. I have attended many concerts at Casino Ballroom in the past, but this was a first at Cisco Brewery. They will NEVER get my business for anything ever again! Furious is an understatement!

Peter T.

Yelp
I came here on one of my first days staying at Residence Inn Portsmouth and actually walked here from the hotel since it is connected by a grassy field. I went to the back outside dining area and was told by the hostess that I had about 10 minutes to order as the kitchen was about to close. I didn't mind because I knew what I wanted and could decide what to eat quickly. We got the brussel sprouts, nachos, and the smoked wings. Overall, the food was good, the water service was self service, and my only complaint was the drink service was little slow. The waitress/bartenders/servers were all busy hustling around but they had lots of people to service outside since the weather was nice. The staff were nice when they serviced us but just didn't have time to check up on the tables more than about twice. I would definitely come back for dinner and drinks both for quality of food and close proximity to my hotel.

Mark M.

Yelp
This brewery came recommended by several locals. After reading up on how this place came to be (the Nantucket background), I had great expectations since I lived on Cape Cod for a couple of years. Sadly, I was disappointed. While I enjoyed my flight of beer to give me a deeper insight into their craftmanship, I felt it was just average. Nothing made them stand out amongst their peers in the area. The staff was very courteous but that was the maximum extent of their service. Even the other breweries made it a point to be friendly and inquire whether we were enjoying our visit.

Cathy A.

Yelp
Stopped here on our way to Maine for food and beverages. Three folks had beer and said it was decent. I had something from the bar-lemonade and alcohol which was tasty on a hot day. Food was typical pub and not bad. Our server worked hard in the hot sun-outside seating only due to Covid. There was live music as well. My only complaint is lack of actual paper menus-again due to Civid-And since we don't own a cell phone, it is difficult to order.

Dan S.

Yelp
The beer is terrible! The food is mediocre. The outside is nice and it's dog friendly. Food truck festival was a disaster. They Festival provided no value other than collecting $10 at the door for nothing!! It was boiling hot in the sun and they didn't even have a tent. We ate crappy grilled cheese in the shadow of a truck with the sound of the generator drowning out the band that no one could hear. - There were no international food trucks other than Kowloon...yuck. I wish I appreciated Redhook more when it was here. Cisco is a joke, how can anyone drink that swill when we have Stoneface, Great Rhythm, etc.

Joanne J.

Yelp
My husband, our dog and I stopped for a beer and lunch. We were not aware that Cisco had taken over the red hook brewery. They had a nice outside beer garden and they are VERY dog friendly. We travel with our dog so this is definitely a draw for us when there is warmer weather. We split an order of crab cakes and fish tacos with mango salsa. The crab cake sliders were a little broader than I like. The fish tacos had a good amount of haddock and came with a garlic aioli like sauce and a mango/ habanero salsa . We liked the fish taco and was very happy that it was not fried. We ordered a side of Brussel sprouts, these were roasted with butternut squash and Cranston's. These were suggested when we ordered and we absolutely loved them. We had an nice IPA that was one of their special batches.

Lou M.

Yelp
Understaffed and total chaos. A hostess gave us some menus and pointed us outside where we sat at a barrel table for 20 minutes before being told we needed to be on a list and that they don't serve people at those tables. Music sounded good and the beer looked good but I never got to taste it. Left and went downtown to a place that had more staff. Not the waiters fault, nor the rookie hostess, just the way things are these days.

CJ O.

Yelp
They had great open space inside with a large beer garden outside that gets great sun! The beer selection was decent and food was delicious! Former Red Hook.

Damian S.

Yelp
showed up 30 min before close. No one came to serve us and all the wait staff were drinking and talking at the bar. Got up to put in an order 20 min before close and our server looked really annoyed never said hello how are you etc. brought the food and NEVER came back. Had to go find someone to close out and because all the staff were hanging out at the bar.

Eric C.

Yelp
Tried 2 different sandwiches both left everything to be desired. The caprese sandwich is literally cheese and a tomato.. no meat.... no imagination. The pesto chicken wrap was chicken salad you can get at the grocery store. Literally no pesto at all. And a grilled wrap is useless and tasteless. The service was super bad. The fries were good.

Kathy M.

Yelp
Words can't adequately express the wonderful Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding we had at Cisco Brewers Portsmouth. My daughter and Son-in-law could not have asked for anything more! The service, food, facilities were absolutely top notch!! Brielle, the Event Manager and Coordinator, was worth her weight in gold!! She was always there doing the work of 5 people, through out the Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding and morning after where everything was packed up and waiting for us to pickup!! I highly, highly recommend having a Wedding or any function here at Cisco Brewers Portsmouth!!

James P.

Yelp
Had a really good time here a few weekends ago. Brought my parents and my dog (dog friendly!) for lunch. Came for the great beer - but, the food was very good too! Great outdoor patio.

Alicia G.

Yelp
Have never been to the #brewery, but have had the #beer a time or two. So thought I'd stop in and see how the brewery was. Pretty large place, pretty empty room although it's a #Monday so that's not surprising. However, the #service... was slow until i feel like i forced the bartender to talk to me . The #bartender was a kind soft spoken young guy with a beard whom asked me if I wanted a beer and anything to eat then never really followed up, #nice guy once I got him talking - as I've never been here before so was fishing for information. A kind gentleman with a hat brought my #pretzels ($7) which were buttery, hot, and extremely flavorful! Sheer #perfection in that category. Beer was #delicious - I had the Pint Break #DIPA 8.5% which was very #yummy... airy and #hoppy not heavy - I definitely was a fan, as I've never had it before!! I feel bad as I think he was taking his cues from the guys that were to my right, one was reading a book and the other was on his computer and here I am taking notes... so he was being #kind not to bother me, I'm almost sure of it - cause when I pressed him to talk he was #sweet as pie. I think I am just a #princess cause I go places and the bartenders are the leaders of the room and I totally love that #vibe!! No complaints and I will be back, I applaud that bartender as he totally vibed wth the room, I just wanted some background being a noobie. #food #foodie #eat #nomnom #yummy #drinks #monday #mondaymotivation #happy #love #friends #family

Maeve D.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds - large outdoor patio (dogs allowed!) with variety of seating, basketball court, and grass for roaming/concert listening/watching. Inside is spacious yet cozy. We only got the core sampler so I can't speak to the quality of their food but the service gets an A+!

Daniel B.

Yelp
Solid beer selection (a bit hoppy for my preference but that is common for the area), none of them stood out too much but nothing to complain about. Great fries and a tasty sauce to dip them in. Solid fish sandwich as well (nice mayo sauce to add and the bun was toasted and the fish was crispy). My coworker said "best fish sandwich ever" but I can't quite say that myself. Great stop in for lunch with reasonable prices and lots of space to sit.

Jayne H.

Yelp
For the last eight years, my husband and I do the last tour of the brewery on Christmas Eve, then eat dinner in the pub. The last four years, we have had the same tour guide, Ashley. She is a hoot, very personable and sweet. Every year we learn something new about Red Hook Brewery and their food is always fantastic. The beers we get to sample are pretty good. There is always one I am not fond of, but my husband gladly takes that off my hand, ha ha. This year he got a keg to bring home and I got a tank top for me and a water dish for our new dog with the Red Hook logo on it. Always look forward to Christmas Eve!

Kimberly G.

Yelp
Venue: I recommend ANY SHOW they have. It's such a quaint venue. The stage was small the crowd was large but felt so intimate. Beer: It was a hosted festival so may be reason there was limited selection but I enjoyed the Gripah Grapefruit IPA. Service: Was extremely slow and they were not very friendly. They did a lot more chit chatting with each other than providing good service. Overall: I would definitely go back.

Holly L.

Yelp
Ok lets start off with how nice the staff is, they're dedicated to making you feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. You donate a dollar to take the tour which last approximately 45 minutes. They've added a mini brew station to start testing different kinds of beers on a smaller scale so if you haven't been here in a while stop by. At the end of the tour you try four beers, I really like the new one Audible ale unfortunately it's only in kegs right now. (what evs had to get a pint in the Cataqua Restaurant, no loss there). They recycle their spent grain which is a nice touch, I suggested the bake it into bread. Overall I had a fun time and enjoyed some fine beers. OH OH! And they have front row parking for Hybrid/Low emission vehicles so my cute optima hybrid is finally getting paid some well deserved respect =P

I miss Redhook is all I can really say!!! We use to enjoy going to Redhook, it had a fun vibe. The vibe here is just so different. It's kind of boring. The chairs we were seated in were super uncomfortable. Our service was good. The lady who waited on us was very friendly. The food was okay. I did like the nachos. It came with some kind of Buffalo sauce that was pretty good. I liked that it was a little different than what usually comes with them. I ordered a greek salad, and my husband ordered the chicken curry wrap. My salad was fine, and he said his wrap was ok.

Yelp
We likely would not have found this place had we not been planning on staying here through the Harvest Host program as it is in more of an industrial/business area and we were traveling through. It was loud as we entered as a live band was playing but it did not take long to become acclimated. Since we were spending the night, I went to the counter to ask what we needed to do. We were greeted with a smile, given an information sheet and the process of how to order food and drinks was explained. A few moments later, we were greeted again by a man we assume was one of the owners. He described all the beer offerings (husband likes an IPA while I prefer a wheat beer) and chatted with us for a while. We were not very hungry so we ordered a couple of appetizers- shishito peppers, pretzel, chili. These were good - not standout, but good. I wish I had been hungry enough to try the quinoa bowl. I had the Grey Lady beer and husband had the Nebulouso - he liked it so much, he had two! Building is light and bright but a bit noisy. We were there on a Friday night and there were many families with young kids, which was a bit surprising but good to know it is family friendly. Large tables that if it were more crowded would have you sharing - typical of a bier garden. Overall - food = 3 stars, beer, service and atmosphere = 4 stars.

Yelp
Super friendly staff and good pub style food. Tour is only 5$ a person. With a souvenir glass included. Kids can even take the tour. 2nd time visiting here. A must stop for the beer drinker in your house. Growlers to go. Every 10th fill up, is a penny.

Yelp
I was initially confused when I saw Cisco as I know they are from the cape. But no. They bought the old red hook site and are in nh too. There is ample parking and the place is huge. Plenty of room for large groups. The bar is huge also so I am thinking that when it's busy the lines move quick. They have a outdoor space too with another bar and a stage. They have entertainment on the weekends. The beer is decent and they have a large draft list. Lots of choices. They also had some frosty drinks and things other than beer. It's a great place and I think it would be a nice spot for a party.

Yelp
Says "JUMBO" shrimp... for $12- come on. It's a rip off... I can buy a pound of shrimp (cleaned) for that. I want a shrimp the size of my pointer finger and thumb together. THATS a jumbo. We got a pinky sized shrimp. The "happy hour" is good willed- but it's $1 off a beer. Which is $8-$5 Went there with my office- the beer was decent. Service was sub par - will not order food again- might go back for beer.
