Citadines South Chengdu

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Location is also good with lots of shops and amenities around. Trips to town center is also decent at around 30 minutes via taxi. However, drivers may not know how to access the driveway. Staff are also friendly and polite, willing to help with requests. A nice touch was a delivery of a small bag of drip coffee delivered to my room on the 3rd day of stay.Overall a recommended hotel in Chengdu. Will rebook when I revisit.

Every was great. Nice location, with good restaurants and spa near by. Very clean rooms, very nice lobby. Option to wash clothes and good breakfast.

We stayed here for six epic nights in Chengdu at this hotel and the place and staff was awesome. We intended to stay for five nights and we just had to stay for one extra night. One our favourite things about this hotel was all the smoke free rooms. The receptionists Betty and Celia where so helpful, made our trip a breeze and their smiles just lighted up the whole reception. The security guard made us feel very safe and at home.

Wow, just wow! Citadines exceeded all my expectations. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with a warm smile and a refreshing welcome coffee. The ambiance is modern yet cozy, and the attention to detail is impeccable.||My room was a dream—spacious, elegantly designed, and spotlessly clean. the bathroom had high-end toiletries that made me feel like I was at a luxury spa. The housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping everything tidy throughout my stay.|The fitness center had all the equipment I needed for a good workout, and the on-site restaurant served some of the best meals I've had in a long time. ||What really made my stay special was the staff. They were attentive, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. Whether it was arranging transportation or providing local tips, they made sure my stay was seamless.

Rooms were clean and good. It's a studio room you will have a small kitchen and service is also good

Excellent service at the reception counter.  Cynthia, Betty and a male service staff were particularly helpful in helping with all sorts of bookings such as museum, shows, and taxi. Including directions and all sorts of touristy questions. Even the Manager was helpful and friendly.The only point to raise here is - why was I charged again during checked in when I've paid through Trip.com?  Upon raising this issue, the Manager personally attended and subsequently reversed the charges.  When I checked in again after a short local trip out of Chengdu, similar situation occurred, this time is for only 2 days so i paid without raising the issue with the Manager. Could you please liaise with Citadines to ensure that customers are not being doubly charged?This sort of double payment did not happen at the Zealandia Service Apartment at Changsha.  The checked in was very smooth n not much paper works were involved. No deposits were required at the Zealandia too.  I have not been able to check if i need to claim refund yet as the visa statement has not reflected all my transactions.

Good location, near to city and next to subway 100m walk.Very friendly and helpful staff.I got upgraded to a unit with living room, kitchen and washing machine! Spacious and nice vathroom. Very comfortable bed. I wished I had stayed longer.Definitely will return.

The 2 bedroom Apartment was lovely & clean with all the kitchenware provided. Its a new hotel, so everything was latest & up-market, including the central heating. Location is best with Tianfu 3rd (Tianfusan) street metro station just opposite. Although we traveled mostly by private car & Didi (so convenient & cheap). There are so many Cafes, McDee & KFC nearby. The reception helped us with a nice tour agency who took us to Leshan, Emei Shan & Bipenggou and we had a great trip. Just to note that the receptionist at night does not know much English, so we had to wait for the morning receptionist to communicate.. The Breakfast was a dampener however, I must say, with limited international choices. For a 4 start hotel, I would expect a good spread of international dishes, but there were not many. Toast & omelet was what we ate all 6 days. My mother, who is a vegetarian, had to stick to bread & butter :(
