This club was warned HUNDREDS of times that Santos was under age, days before they were set to host and they continued to let him in and serve him alcoholic beverages while he was there, even after they said they would look into it. They served a minor, while on live, as several more ppl called up there to tell them, again, he is underage and they still didn't stop. Luckily Santos didn't hurt anybody or himself after he left this club but next time ppl might not be so lucky

Attended the Habibi-themed party at Citizen and was seriously impressed. The venue was super clean, cool, and well-lit — everything felt upscale and well put together. The crowd was fun and respectful, and the service was on point all night. Not too crowded, which made it even better to enjoy the music and atmosphere without feeling packed in. DJ Diamond absolutely crushed it — the blend of Arabic and EDM was unique and energetic. He really knew how to read the room and kept the vibe going from start to finish.

They turned this place into a techno/edm club. Barely any hip hop songs last 15 seconds before DJ changes it. Also, bartenders don’t even know what to charge. Different prices each time

Total scam. Went to Citizen Club the same night, ordered the same drink multiple times, and got charged a different price every time. That’s not a mistake that’s straight-up fraud. No wonder their feedback is so bad. They’re clearly hoping people are too distracted to notice. Pathetic business practice. Check your receipt every single time they’re ripping people off and pretending it’s normal. Disgusting. Never coming back. Places like this don’t deserve loyal customers.

We came out for the Social Afrobeats & RNB event and listen… it’s a MUST-GO! The vibes were elite music on point, energy unmatched, and the crowd? Nothing but good people and good times. There’s both indoor and outdoor space, so you can float between the dance floor and a chill lounge vibe. Drinks were decent, not overpriced, and the DJs kept it lit all night. This is the kind of event you’ll catch me at on the regular no doubt. If you love Afrobeats, RNB, and real grown-folk fun… this is it. 👌🔥

The discrimination is horrible. Our group got discriminated due to a person wearing sandals. So we went to change to hills and we’re still not allowed in. We believe it was due to an overweight person in our group, and an older person. We were dressed to impress. Will always tell everyone to never spend your money here!

Crowded but fun spot, nice when the patio is open/available bc of how crowded it gets, constant bottle service running through, so don't get comfortable where your standing/dancing. They will kick you out if you can't control yourself, which is very reassuring for safety reasons.

Even if you’ve been sober your whole life, they’ll accuse you of being drunk when you do something they don’t personally like and kick you out. Hope yall close and never reopen. Your bouncers are insidious.

Went on a Sunday night for MLK weekend the night TikTok got banned and it was great! This place was dead before midnight, but right after people started piling in like crazy. DJ was good, played a lot of hip hop, but would randomly play Justin Bieber to mix things up and blamed the power going out for when he forgot to load his next song, but other than that, he was fire. Definitely recommend coming!

Not a fan of this place. Had bottle service (3 or 4 bottles), had to wait because the door guy is incompetent and would be better at mopping the floors because I doubt he'll be any better at serving drinks. So unorganized. There are better places you can get a bottle at for far better service.

My favorite nightclub in Dallas! I'm literally there all the time! The new location is awesome. My girlfriends and I always have a great time!

I was out with a group of girls on saturday night and was aggressively grabbed by the upper arms by a large male bouncer and thrown out. For reference, I am a 5'3" girl. I fell as soon as he grabbed me from the sheer force he used and then was dragged out of the club. A friend that I was with was repeatedly asking him why this was happening because she knew I did nothing to bring about this kind of treatment and we were not given a reason for why I was being kicked out. I read some other reviews about racist staff and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this but being physically assaulted by the staff was NOT something I expected and I cannot believe this happened to me.

Went here to see the Black Tape Project on a Thursday night. I'm not usually a club fan anymore but it was actually pretty good. Music was good, bartenders were friendly and quick and good crowd of people that were all smiling and just having fun. Only thing I have to say negative is after I left I looked at my bar receipt and noticed they had automatically charged a 20% tip on it. Not sure I've ever been to a club/bar where that happens unless you don't close your tab or maybe for bottle service. There was nothing to say 20% would be charged so I left another 20% and basically my tip was a third of my bill. Bartenders were good but not 40% of my bill good lol. Maybe it was because of the event that night but to anyone that goes check your bill before you leave a tip just to make sure. To management you might want to put something up that states this is automatically added. It's a bit deceptive and I can easily see people getting mad and escalating it.

I'm would NOT recommend anybody to come to this place. The bald head security (in pics from previous review ) is racists and possibly the entire club . I've never witnessed and experience being held back with poor excuses while watching only white people getting let in this place automatically with no questions asked . The fact that the line was only Mexicans , blacks and any other race other than white should have been a red flag .

Terrible spot if you're a couple or a male with a date. The bouncer (balding, middle age) WILL give you trouble if you're a guy. The bouncer denied me and claimed I was underaged before even seeing my ID! After insisting and showing him my ID he still gave me trouble, saying it was a fake. Eventually another worker walked up and told him to let us in. Won't be back to say less.

I have a tik tok following including Paris Hilton and I was trying to make Dallas Content for tik tok to promote places and the door guys were so rude. I left to go to bottle blonde where I got better service. Don't waste your money here when there are better places to go queen and kings. Wish I could give 0 because it was my birthday and they said they didn't care. @xolabarbie

Came here because of the reviews below! At least someone controls their crowd around here. Diverse club with regulars and well dressed crowd. Professional staff! Would leave five stars but algo will probably throw review to bottom.

If I could give this place one star I would. My friends phone was stolen. My other friends wallet was stolen. Staff will not look for it at all and ignore you if you ask more than once. The bartenders ignore you like nobody's business. The people here are BEYOND RUDE. the staff shoves you and yells at you of you are even near the vicinity of being "in the way" they will shove you and move you. If you lose anything DONT BOTHER the staff will accuse you of pulling "tricks" on them to get some sort of service. The ambiance sucks ass. Literally go anywhere else.

Absolutely the worst door policy. This place represents everything that's wrong with the Dallas party scene. Empty inside with a line outside. Either bring five girls, pay $1,000 for a table or bribe the door guy. Get inside and it's half empty with people standing around, bad pop music and no one dancing.

Absolutely love this club...the finish-out and attention to detail is next-level. Sick vibe. Good people, great club....Asim is Awesome!

Hmm where do I start.... I'm sad that I'm here writing this but something needs to be changed immediately. I come to citizen plenty of times and usually have a solid experience. However something changed this past weekend when I approached chase (bald headed guy who works door) the and his coworker at the door with my friend who is of color. Out of all the times I've been to this club I haven't had an issue, but I was unable to get in and it seemed the only reason was because I came with someone that was black. I tried to make sense of what was going on... but then I quickly realized the only people that were out side the club were minorities. Seeing this made me feel uneasy and I noticed my friend was uncomfortable. After being told that we would have to pay $1000 to get in I noticed a group of individuals who were being let in with no questions asked. And NOO, these were not celebrities. My friend and I ended up leaving because we wanted to enjoy what was left of our night. The situation was just very eye opening because it was one of the few times I've seen racism first hand in my life. I will no longer spend money here, and you all should be critical of the establishments you support.

Horrible horrible horrible. Wasn't able to get into this bar, even though we had a table!! People from our table tried to talk to the bouncers (and the owner) to get us in, but they ignored all of us. The Bouncers and the owner continuously let people in even though they "were at capacity". Very sexist and racist. Wouldn't let any female who weren't showing their t*ts. Would not recommend at all.

Terrible door policy. If you don't want to pay $1500 for a table or bribe the doormen you're not getting in to this place. No visible lines outside, just a crowd of people surrounding the front door while the doormen pick and choose who they want to let in. Always at capacity, unless you have personal connections or a couple hundred $. Plenty of other places to go for a night out, wouldn't recommend wasting your time here.
