Citrina Berry Fresh is one of the best breakfast spots I go to with family. Their sandwiches are delicious and fresh too. Very welcoming and nice service.

Food and drinks are amazing! Healthy food with authentic Mexican vibe...even picky eaters can find something they like!

Edit - Worse. Food worse. Service: Consistently has this rude chick. Which is fine, I go to places for food. I ignore the attitude and scowl usually. I don't know why she's like that, but my review isn't 3 stars because of her, it's for the acai bowl. Food: Got an Acai bowl. While it didn't taste bad, this teeny tiny container is like $15. I used to come here every now and then as a treat, since these bowls used to be like $10/11. Not only are the containers smaller now, but increasing the price WHILE shrinking the container size is nuts. It's still better than other places I've been to though. If money isn't an object and you're bougie, you'll probably like it. If you want a fair price though, this isn't it, chief

The food and service are always wonderful here. I have been coming here since their opening years ago, and it has never disappointed. It's extra nice to dine-in during hot days because they keep it fresh inside (which other food places don't). Love their Tuesday torta special.

When we visited, it was not very busy inside. We ordered a ginger shot with lemon and cayenne pepper and clearly asked for no turmeric. Not only did we get charged for it without actually receiving it, but when asked about it later, the employee seemed confused and even questioned whether I had ordered it. It was frustrating having to push just to get something I already paid for and the gingershot was pretty much all turmeric! I also ordered the tropical açaí bowl, which was missing kiwi, one of the main reasons I chose the tropical bowl. When I asked about it, the employee told me it was blended into the açaí, which makes no sense since kiwi was listed as a topping. It honestly felt like they were just trying to cover up a mistake instead of fixing it. For the price theyre charging, I expected way better service and accuracy. Unfortunately, my first visit here will also be my last.

2 stars because the place is empty but it took 15 minutes just make a latte and it tastes like just syrup flavoring and burnt coffee... I ordered a lomo torta theyr just alright there are much better places for tortas in SD I haven't tried everything on the menu but I wouldn't recommend for tortas.

Food was good, torta especial and shrimp diablo taco were good. The rainforest smoothie was good too. Pancakes were better than Denny's and IHOP. This was a little on the pricey side for about everything we paid but it was a lot healthier compared to fast food places.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. The prices are affordable, plenty of tables, the cafe de olla, the strawberry pancakes, the summer smoothie, the avocado toast and the peanut smoothie were delicious. The food was very tasty and fresh. The customer service was outstanding, this is great stablishment.

This place is amazing! The drinks are delicious. I've had a few on the menu and every one of them comes out so good! The food is always a great portion and quality vegetables / meat in the tortas. Love this healthy place.

We love the aquas frescas and smoothies here. We also tried their breakfast on the weekends because kids eat free -- you have a choice of: 2 buttermilk pancakes, cheese quesadilla, or croissant, side of fruit and orange juice or apple juice. The prices are fair and don't break the bank and service is friendly. The place is unassuming from the outside, but it's cozy and inviting on the inside.

First time here. I love to support small businesses knowing that it'll probably be overpriced. I love the interior design. Very welcoming. Customer service was great until I found problems with my order. Cashier took my order and repeated back to me for confirmation. I order the Tropical Acai Bowl and a wellness shot (lemon + ginger + cayenne pepper). My bowl was missing kiwis and when I brought it up it they just gave me 4 small quarters of a single kiwi on the side. They didn't give me my wellness shot until I had to remind them. And when I did they tried to gaslight me and tell me I never ordered one although I paid for it. And when they finally gave it to me it ended up being some spicy tumeric shot. Pretty bad first & last experience for me.

Order the UBElicius to go. I thought it was an acai bowl, but seems like a yogurt. I should have looked before leaving, that's on me....

Woke up craving pancakes one morning and decided to visit this spot to try it out. So glad I did! Not only were the pancakes perfectly fluffy but the amount was incredible. Staff were welcoming and took our order promptly. The line that soon followed made the restaurant more lively, which was great and the music playing was fun too. Definitely would encourage folks to try this spot out!

I love supporting this small business. I make it a point to stop buy any time I'm in national city. Their prices are beyond fair compared to other fruterias / loncheras with the same kind of offerings. They have plenty of parking, ample seating and free WiFi for customers. It's decorated with a "live love laugh" kind of vibe that reminds me of my Mexican moms house. I like coming here to catch up on work. I always order the Mr.Beets, their juices are fresh and made to order. It's pretty slow on weekdays but picks up on the weekends. Make sure to try the torta especial! Their fruit bowls are pretty good too.

My god this place was delicious and fresh. Honestly, beats Frutas by a long shot. We had the tropical acai bowl (yum, mango) and a grilled chicken sandwich that had queso panela, avocado and chipotle sauce. Everyrthing was incredible. Also, itms so cute inside!

Love this place! Juices Smoothies Salads Sandwiches And they are all made fresh I can't complain about the prices! They also have tacos/breakfast/Mexican lunch items

I can only attest to the ACAI bowls, they are soo good and filling! Lots of toppings and fruit is fresh. My fave is the one with PB on it - very hearty and delicious! Juices are also good but the coffee is just okay, but you don't come here for coffee anyway lol

Best pancake breakfast I've had in a very long time! Fantastic acai bowls, loved the nutty one and the regular berry one. Coffee was not stellar but not terrible either. Not super fast but it is definitely fresh made and worth the wait. I took mine to go but it's a cute spot to have a casual meal too.

Found this spot on Yelp after thrifting with my friend in the morning and we both wanted some breakfast. The parking lot is small, but we had no issues since it was fairly empty when we got there. The inside is nice and clean with plenty of seating. It's very reminiscent of Mango Mango, so if you enjoy going there you'll probably like this place as well. Ordering was easy as they have the menu projected on 4 large screens; there's a lot to choose from so take your time. The staff were nice and friendly; we didn't have any issues with customer service. Seating was completely open and we ended up choosing a booth. The food came out about 10-15mins after placing our order. I ordered the turkey sandwich with a pink flamingo drink and my friend ordered the vegan torta with a cocoapeanut drink. We both enjoyed everything! Great experience and tasty food overall. My friend and I agreed we'd definitely eat here again.

They are extremely rude. I waited at the counter to order just a green juice. Meanwhile they helped other customers and asked me if I was picking up. I told them I just wanted a green juice or green smoothie whatever they have. She charged me and didn't tell me what she was preparing! A green juice or green smoothie! Then when it was ready was ready they announced "green juice" in a very low tone and spoke so quickly I couldn't hear and couldn't understand.

Nice hidden gem where you can grab a delicious, healthy, fresh bite to eat! Good variety of smoothies and sandwiches. Watermelon agua Fresca was made perfectly. Will be back!

The food was delicious and the coffee was piping hot! We got avocado toast, a Philly Bello sandwich, Strawberry Agua Fresca and a Cafe de Olla. All of which were amazing! Everything was very fresh and the service was great. We asked a couple of questions and the woman that helped us was thorough and nice! The Philly Bello was really good! Atmosphere is cool and the decor is cute!

Wanted something healthy but tasty and Citrina definitely delivered. I originally wanted a wrap but then I saw pictures of their acai bowl and wanted to try it too. The Tropical Acai ended up becoming my new favorite acai bowl! The sorbet they use was SO smooth and the fruits, granola, and honey went together perfectly. Also, the quinoa in the Chicknoa wrap is so much better than rice. They gave so much chicken and it was so filling I could probably save the other half for another meal. Love that they also offer a $10 special right now that includes a sandwich, juice, and I believe chips. I cannot wait to order their acai bowl for hot day or something where I can enjoy it at the beach!

Friendly staff. Very clean and cute healthy place to eat. All the menu options are affordable and delicious. We tried the chilaquiles and the pancake special. Had some cold brew coffee and one of the natural juices and enjoyed all of it. Conveniently located with plenty of parking next door. They also have free WiFi and looks like a great place to work remotely if needed.

One of the best breakfast/lunch places I've found since coming to San Diego. The quality of food is insane and the pricing is incredible inexpensive. The ultimate breakfast sandwich is bomb. So is the steak melt sandwich. The detox and glow juices are delicious. Also very cute interior and friendly staff.

I haven't been here for the longest time that I didn't realize they expanded their menu. I originally stopped by as I was craving a smoothing, but when I saw the sandwich and tortas options I also wanted one of each LOL. I fortunately what I wanted, the Vegan sandwich or torta, they were unable to make it as they did not have mushrooms. I didn't crave any of the other options even though they sounded good so this review is solely on a smoothie. I ordered the Cocopeanut smoothie. They didn't have coconut milk so I was able to order with almond milk which worked out for me since I am not a fan of coconut milk in my smoothies. The smoothie was good. Tasted natural and by that I mean not overly sweet. It was good, but for those of you who are fans of Starbucks drinks they are sweet this smoothie is not for you. I'm definitely coming back to order that Vegan sandwich or torta. Also as they have a happy hour special from 2-4 pm Monday through Friday. Hopefully next time around they have mushrooms for me to try this vegan item.

A friend brought me here, and it's become one of my favorite places to go after a workout. The menu is huge, and they have happy hours and specials for breakfast and lunch. Every time I come here the service is great, and the food and drinks come out quickly. This is fast food, but not fat food! We love the smoothies and sandwiches. Today I had the chicken tortilla soup and a rainforest smoothie. It hit the spot on this blustery rainy day.

Delicious smoothies, good breakfast, acai bowls are great but not very generous for the price. They use high-quality fruits. What I love about Citrina is the free kids breakfast with $20 purchase on weekends: choice of croissant breakfast sandwich, cheese quesadilla, or two pancakes. Mixed fruits and juice or milk are included. I bring my family of 5 here after church and we always leave happy.

This place serves quality food and i am especially partial to their acai bowls. However, i understand this economy, but paying nearly $30 for a breakfast plate and smoothie is clearly a markup from outer space. The food is good, but the prices are not. It is unfortunate that while i would like to return here i probably will not simply for the fact it is not affordable. if you are looking for a cheap meal or snack, do not come here. I will say the service is always good and its a nice well-lit place to hang out. as far as sound goes it is consistently loud so dont plan to make any calls while inside.

I only come here bc my lady loves it here she comes 2 or 3 times a week and it's a hit and miss one day u get a lgood looking sandwich and the next it looks like they don't have enough product to make a nice sandwich for almost $20 for 2 sandwiches..the gurls who work here seem like they really hate working there. The guy with glasses is always very nice and is helpful. He's about the only person that has good customer service. I should of took a pic...that's what I'll do take pics one week to the next so u all can see hiw cheap they make it.

Updated Menu. This place is always a 10/10. A journey to try every item on the menu. The staff is also amazing.

Food is always good, I really like the acai bowls. Fruit is always fresh and crisp. The girls at the counter always help me with a smile, even on my bad days, so its like a ray of sunshine. The ambiance is very urban, makes me hungry high key. The best part is its fresh. all day every day .

We loved this place! We ordered Togo but ended up wanting to stay and ate in the restaurant. The cheese in this sandwich melted in your mouth, it was unbelievable. Definitely recommend and coming again to try the pancakes!

Tried this spot for the first time and it's my new favorite for fresh food! Highly recommend the nutty Acai and vegan torta! The green juice was refreshing and the vanilla latte hit the spot for a classic latte! The service was pleasant and quick. And I love the modern aesthetic inside. So glad I stopped in!

I see that they recently updated the hours. I get here hoping to get something to eat and they're not even open. Very disappointed.

OMG!! This place is so cute!! The place is spotless and clean! Their ingredients are fresh and the staff is super friendly. I had a lot of special orders for my family and myself. Even though I had so many special requests I didn't feel rushed or that the staff was annoyed. They were completely understanding about my request and the music while I waited was fun and upbeat. I live about 30 minutes away and it's so worth the drive. Definitely recommend if you want healthy food.

We absolutely love this place. It's a great healthy option and very close to our home. Staff is always friendly. Calling ahead is no problem. Check out their Torta Tuesday special & the yummy piña colada smoothie. We will continue to visit. To the owner: Please create a loyalty program. That would be AMAZING!

I had a sandwich with salad on the side. The salad with mixed greens, strawberries, mango, parmesan cheese and raspberry vinaigrette was fantastic. The vinaigrette had great flavor. The turkey bacon w melted cheese sandwich was amazing. Way more flavor than would be expected for a sandwich. Highly recommend this place.

food is not worth of how much it cost paid 14$ for some nasty shrimp burrito and mid chilaquiles but has good drinks

First & last time coming to this place. The workers are extremely rude , don't speak English and have the nerve to be mad at me because they didn't understand what I was ordering , when I'm legit ordering what's on the screen menu. Also , they have a promotion for a free drink for military members and when I asked about it the girl said they don't offer that. SO WHY HAVE IT ON THE SCREEN ?! Anyways ! What i ordered was a salad and THIS SALAD HAD TWO BIG GREEN WORMS !

Very clean, great staff, friendly, relatively fresh food! It reminds me of Jamba Juice but with a full menu! I went there for a late brunch and was pleased with how quick we were served. They seem to have a nice variety of breakfast and Latin inspired food options. I asked for extra avocado on my ceviche and the lady at the register hooked me up with a nice full half avocado without even charging me. Definitely hats off to not nickel and diming the customers! The juice was great, refreshing and the smoothie was thick-- just how I like it. Really no complaints here.

Get the shrimp cocktail. Shrimp cocktail. Shrimps!! I don't know what type of seasoning is used in the juice---- but, it's exactly THIS that gets me hooked. When I talk about their shrimp cocktail, my mouth puckers (from the citrus acidic notes) but, I crave the juice! The shrimps are real meaty- refer to my first shrimp cocktail photo. Yes, I made a comment regarding the shrimp portion ratio to the diced veggies... Brenda noticed & was super kind enough to dice the shrimp up every time I order from now on! Talk about customer service! Totally unexpected!! The shrimp cocktail juice is sooo damn good- I even slurp what pools at the bottom if my spoon can't collect it. In my opinion- this shrimp cocktail BEATS what Karina's serves!!

I love the ambience inside! We came in for acai bowls. Parking was full but we were able to find spots. We ordered the pitaya bowl.. very berry smoothie and PB banana smoothie. The PB Banana was soo flavorful. Everything here was good! Loved the pitaya bowl. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy your goodies. Also seen some sandwhichs on the menu as well.

The place is a cute little cafe on Highland Ave with just enough parking spots in a lot. The place is very clean. The cashier who helped me was not as welcoming. Maybe she was having a bad day, but no liveliness or positive attitude was shown. Maybe a bit more excitement when helping a customer? My boyfriend and I came in and ordered a build your own acai sorbet bowl ($12.50) and a soyrizo breakfast burrito ($7.99) to share. For the price you pay here, their create your own sorbet bowls are not worth $12.50 + tax in my opinion. Their sorbet and toppings were good quality, but the freshness of the fruit and overall size of the bowl were questionable. Their soyrizo burrito was a fair size, but the overall taste of it was a bit bland. I do, however, hope to come back and try something else off of their menu full of variety as their wraps and smoothies sound appealing!

I hate writing negative reviews, I had been here a couple years back and they were so delicious!! I went today to get a smoothie, I ordered the coco peanut smoothie which was cocoa powder, banana, oats and coconut milk. I don't know if they used whole milk, or what the issue was but it was super watery one, and two right after I drank about 1/3 of it I got super painful cramps and needless to say I've been in the bathroom all day. I have a feeling whole milk was used, I know dietary accommodations can be annoying when working but sometimes we really do need that alternative milk LOL the young girl working was SO NICE, only reason for the 3 stars, just super bummed about about my sad ending to my smoothie LOL. Just wanted to let people know to make sure and double check what milk or milk alternative is being used D;

I got the turkey happy hour sandwich special and was disappointed because the meat and cheese seemed like it was the leftovers and cut in weird thick pieces like it was the end of product when slicing. I also tried the carne asada tacos, the taco was average and the salsa had no flavor so in turn I didn't like tacos The salads & juices are consistent here but the food is not enjoyable.

Found this gem on Yelp due to the great reviews and it's open late which is amazing! So far it's my second time coming here the soyrizo breakfast burrito really hits the spot and they pack it really good not stingy at all with their ingredients.I have also had the dragon booster smoothie from here. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

I placed a order via DoorDash for a pico de gallo salad. I received a half empty containers with what looks like left over scraps. This is the worse fruit salad I have ever purchase. Beware of this place.

I waited 30 minutes for a rainforest smoothie and it was so watery. Typically a smoothie is nice and thick NOT THIS ONE ... when I told the girl at the counter she said she could add more water ... such a disappointment not worth my money or my time .

I found this place using a google search for açaí bowls after a Drs appointment in the area. On a Monday morning the perfect time there was no line I was the only one when I arrived and a few people came in before I left. Very cute, clean and beautifully decorated space the staff was friendly and gave recommendations on what to order. I got the detox drink and the tropical açaí bowl. My order took about 15mins to make, dine in option is available, but I took my order to go. I drank the detox on my way home and it was very refreshing.

Hear me out for a second...PLEASE never CLOSE. Lord knows we need more places like this sheesh. Now I am not close to this place but it is worth however many miles I need to drive to get my fix. Now this place isn't for everyone and what I mean by that is YES THEY CATER to everyone, whatever your taste palette may be craving but what I mean is...everything here is HEALTHY, it's FRESH, it's organic, it's light and it comes with a price tag that isn't $1 dollar menu cheap. Sooooo you're not going to find any grease, oil, excess salts, fats or artery clogging ingredients here. Some people crave that so no shame, s'all good, i too have dayz where i crave a good unhealthy meal - I'm just lettin it be known and puttin it out there. I leave here with all of my body thanking me for feeding it with some fuel to power thru my day! Les get itttttttt mmmmm I must come back and try the piña colada smoothie. I'm craving that so hard right now as I write this review...drool* everything here on the menu is delightful and I get excited to try something new every time I visit!
