Good vibes, good food, and gorgeous deco. This cozy place is the newly opened Japanese Italian restaurant. My friends and I tried it last week. as we were a group of 6 people, so we picked from the a la carte menu as we want to try more.
🍴Appetizers
⭐️ Fermented Caprese with Mozzarella Espuma
- The cheese mousse is so light and flavourful
⭐️ 36 months aged prosciutto, capocollo
- The matching of the 36-month ham and the Lovenzini honeydew melon is so well paired. the taste of the melon is quite unique as it is not only sweet. you should try while it is still in season.
⭐️ Caramelized onion tart with baby anchovies
- This is one of my favorites, the creamy onion mixture, over the thin crust, sooo good!
⭐️ Seasonal organic vegetable smoke Bagna Cauda
- this warm salad is a combination of over 30 kinds of seasonal vegetables, I like it so much.
🍽 Main
⭐️ The wagyu beef cheek lasagna
- The wagu beef filling is soo good, very tasty..
⭐️ Guanciale flavored Genovese
- the home made pesto is delicious.
⭐️ Citrino Vongole
- the Japanese clam is so sweet.
⭐️ Sicilian Don Gambero Red Prawns
- the red prawns cooked just right. this is one of their top dish - yum!
⭐️ Citrino Grilled Wagyu & Wild Italian Arugula
- the meat was cooked beautifully, so tender.
⭐️ Filetto Di Sogliola Al Limone
- this wild caught Dover Sole also cooked beautifully, crust outside with juicy flesh inside.
🥄 Desert
⭐️ Amalfi Lemon Cannoli, Mints Trio Gelato
- very lemony n refreshing. the home made Gelato was so good, not so sweet.
⭐️ Citrino Tiramisu
- also yummy!
We ate quite a lot so we left the restaurant with a very full belly and satisfied. This restaurant is a rising start in town. A good place for gathering with friends and family. It's definitely on my top list...
