"After her sons received their First Communion, Wendy Osefo hosted a beautiful brunch reception with the cast and family members at Baltimore’s lakeside American restaurant and private events space Citron. Guests were asked to wear yellow, a color also spotted in floral centerpieces and free-flowing flutes of mimosas. The white table-clothed meal included shrimp, fruit, French toast, and Belgian waffles." - Vinciane Ngomsi, Tierney Plumb

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Citron Baltimore while celebrating a friend’s birthday! The owner, Charles, and his wife were incredibly nice and friendly, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality truly set the tone for a memorable evening. The food was nothing short of amazing—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was incredible, with a perfect blend of elegance and warmth that made the celebration extra special. Highly recommend this gem of a spot—can’t wait to come back!

I had an amazing time for my birthday. The food was cooked to perfection. The drinks were really good. The atmosphere was classy and elegant. The owner and staff were very helpful in making sure my birthday was special. My server “Will” did a great job, he was very attentive to me and my guest. He had an amazing attitude and was very professional. I completely recommend Citron Restaurant. I will definitely be returning.

Just went here for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. Of course, there was a four course pre fixe menu with no option of using the standard menu. What was particularly frustrating was the fact that my 11 - and 7 year old girls were also required to order the pre fixe menu, which was $100 a person. Luckily, my girls managed with the Cesar salad and chicken for the entre. They also had Gelato for dessert. However, it's pathetic that they couldn't accommodate children. I've been to plenty of nicer restaurants that were more accommodating for children. Another point of terrible service was the fact that they forgot to serve the amuse bouche, which was one of the courses. I had to remind them after the entre was served. For a place as expensive as it was, this was a terrible mistake and showed poor service. We were also sent to the back of the restaurant away from the main dining room. Clearly looking to segregate us from the "more important" customers. This place is severely overpriced, and the service is horrible. This place wants to hang with the Atlas Group restaurants, but it doesn't hold a candle to them. I am never coming here again. I'll admit that the food was decent but not worth the $600 bill. I could get a much better experience with better food for half that price.

Citron offers a genuinely lovely dining experience with some notable highlights and areas for enhancement. The interior is beautifully appointed with elegant decor and stunning lake views that make for a perfect dining backdrop. I've particularly enjoyed watching the sunset from their windows, though I'd love to see the blinds remain open more consistently during golden hour to showcase that gorgeous view. The owner's personal touch really stands out - he makes an effort to connect with guests, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that speaks to their commitment to hospitality. The food quality is consistently good, though I do find the pricing on the higher side. I often wish they were open for lunch with a more casual menu for the day. What strikes me most is the contrast between the restaurant's beautiful interior and high end food vs the curb appeal- specifically the entrance area. While the inside showcases the establishment's attention to detail and aesthetic vision, the exterior entrance feels like a missed opportunity. Baltimore has such incredible natural beauty, and this location's potential could be fully realized with some authentic landscaping touches. Perhaps some real wisteria or native plantings at the entrance would better reflect the sophistication found inside and complement the area's natural charm. The restaurant clearly has passion and vision - with a few exterior updates to match the interior's elegance, this could easily be one of the area's standout dining destinations. Worth visiting for the atmosphere and owner's hospitality, with hopes to see the entrance evolve to match the care evident throughout the rest of the experience.

SIMPLY AMAZING!! The food was absolutely exceptional the care and technique put into the food is just breathtaking. Compliments to the chef truly. The staff was nothing but courteous and very attentive. And don’t let me get started on the owner, what a great guy! Charles you made our night memorable and I loved our conversations, great way to treat your guest and keep them coming back to a memorable night! Thank you to everyone at Citron!! 💙

Finally made the drive from DC. Had a big party for my friend’s 40th last night and the service was amazing and the food was on point! Definitely coming back for those lamb chops.

Great food and service but we have had better experience at the same price point at some other Baltimore area fine dining restaurants.

Staff members were kind and the atmosphere was pleasant. The Thanksgiving menu was “okay” but enough for us to want to come back for the seasonal dinner menu.

Yelp
I recently came here for a work function. When we entered, the hostess smiled and escorted us to the private dining area. As we walked to the dining room, I was captivated by the restaurant's decor and overall ambiance. I had really hoped that we would have a water view, but that did not happen. Nevertheless, the private dining room was attractive. There was a dual-sided fireplace in the dining area, which added to this dining experience. The lighting was dimmed, which made the space seem more relaxing. The music playlist was awesome. Since it was a special event, the menu was prix fixe, but I did not know that ahead of time. For this reason, the entree that I originally considered after reviewing the online menu had to be changed. The three-course, prix fixe menu was pretty good though. There were three appetizer options, from which I chose the Shrimp Spring Rolls. The spring rolls were good, as was the accompanying Asian Tso sauce. There was a consensus from those with whom I spoke at the event that the Shrimp Spring Rolls were a winner. For my entree, I wavered between the salmon and the pasta dish, ultimately choosing the Vegetarian Agnolotti Pasta. The pasta was essentially ravioli without sauce. I honestly did not taste the flavors, but the dish was not bad. The pasta aside, the entrees on this menu came with three side dishes. I wanted to try the Brussels sprouts only, so they agreed to add it to my order. However, when the meal arrived, they provided not only the Brussels sprouts, but also the Garlic Herb Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Rainbow Baby Carrots. All of the sides were good, I especially enjoyed the Brussels sprouts. I took the other two items home in a to-go container. I also ordered a Ginger-Pear mocktail that was really flavorful and definitely worth ordering again. The meal concluded with a dessert trio that included a sample of a Key Lime Parfait, a Chocolate Macadamia Square and a beignet with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and blackberries. The Key Lime Parfait was creamy with a refreshing lime flavor. The Chocolate Macadamia Square was also amazing in all aspects. The Beignet or donut that was not listed on the menu, but was part of the trio was just okay for me. Overall, the restaurant is beautiful. The staff were really great. Josh was a very attentive waiter, who was both knowledgeable about the menu and humorous as well. I would have to say that this restaurant understands customer service delivery. I enjoyed the ambiance, service and food enough to return at a later time.

Yelp
Mehhhh. I had high hopes for Citron for some reason. Came here for a birthday dinner. We were sat on the outside patio. Very beautiful view. Front staff immediately told us no outside cake but they would store it in their fridge. Food was a 4/10. First of all, OVERPRICED. 19 for brussel sprouts, I think 60 for salmon, and 40 for a double shot of casamigos. For a table of 12 our bill came to about 1800. And it's nothing to write home about. Our server Casio was nice and patient dealing with such a large group. He ended up cutting up the cake and placing it in to go boxes for everyone. Gratuity is auto 20%. The owner is a little rude. I remember him rushing me out of a room I was told I could look into when I was checking out a place for my dad's birthday dinner last summer. Will not return or recommend.

Yelp
Overpriced Overrated The food is okay but not worth $$$$ They charge a premium for the room and the view. Linwoods crushes Citron.

Chin S.

Yelp
Over priced food. Mediocre flavor. Went for Mother's Day. This is a picture of the Chicken and Waffles. The chicken was processed nuggets (like from fast food places). I wouldn't even give my toddlers. They look and tasted like frozen nuggets. And the waffles were hard, crunchy, like the Trader Joe's pack. This lovely meal cost $34. Totally messed up my Mother's Day

Private B.

Yelp
Beautiful decor inside. Outdoor seating options. Overpriced items and small portions smh service was blah... They do not allow medium well meat orders so my boyfriend couldn't order steak or lamb like he wanted smh So he settled for a tiny piece of salmon. The crabcake and cheesecake were good. The asparagus lacked flavor. The mac n cheese was okay. The options were limited. I won't return.

Yelp
Bottom line up front: great food, great service, worth the price! Food: Brussel sprouts as the starter, ribeye (medium) w/ broccolini & potatoes, lamb shank w/ cauliflower hash- every item was 10/10. The shank was tender, flavorful, and enough to make you full. My hubby loved the ribeye and it re-heated well the next day. Honorable mentions: Dessert: key lime pie (10/10) and creme brûlée (9/10). The key lime pie is a great balance or sweet and tart. The creme brûlée was more dense than others I have had. Mocktail and non-alcoholic beer: excellent flavors. If you would like something that is not listed, ask and they will likely be able to create it. They have a good mixologist. Service: Our server, Rich, was fantastic. He provided great recommendations and was friendly. The owner greeted us as well and took our pics by one of the lovely Christmas trees. The restaurant was not crowded and we lingered enjoying the ambience and soul music. I heard Sade! The music selection was fantastic. Parking: free and ample near the restaurant

Yelp
I have always wanted to dine here, but I just could not find the time. But last Sunday, I attended #thestylesbrunch hosted by Atarah Styles, which was catered to all. I was part of the VIP group, who got to partake in the pre-festivities. We were served French Toast bites, macaroni and cheese on a spoon, and crab hors d'oeuvre, which was very tasty. And we were given a mimosa. Once we were greeted, our hostess, we were then allowed into the main dining area. We had bacon, shrimp and grits, eggs, tater tots, chicken and a sugar waffle, along with mixed fruit. To close out, we were served a variety of some good sweets.

Yelp
I'll be honest, I heard great things about Citron. I wasn't overly impressed with the food, especially at the price point. It's really high! Quality ingredients, for sure as well as cooking quality was good but the taste was just okay. I expected to be blown over and I wasn't for the price of one week's groceries. The ambiance is beautiful and the service was okay. Fairly disappointed though. I went for my birthday and they knew this. Got no special birthday song or dessert which is commonplace in restaurants of a "lower caliber" and price point. Not sure I'll be going back.

Brittney C.

Yelp
Service was wonderful. Food was amazing. Drinks were good. Celebrating my grandmother 85th birthday.

Yelp
Citron is a gorgeous restaurant with top notch service, delicious food and drinks. While I've only attended private events, each time the food and service have been outstanding. Checking out the menu may give you sticker shock, but from what I saw of the steak served to other guests, you won't leave hungry. No matter how good lunch or dinner is, leave room for dessert. The crème broule and chocolate brownie were awesome. Sorry I forgot to take a picture. Trust I ate every morsel. When you need a place to impress someone, treat them to a meal here. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Yelp
My first time in couple years. Visiting this restaurant again. And the food is amazing. Service fast and attentive. Ambiance- relaxed , and 5 star. Feel free to dress up and shine the night away. Charles the owner is super welcoming. And friendly They have regular dishes and some Japanese sushi/sashimi options. Absolutely delicious Try the muscles. The best i ever had. Crab cakes were amazing. Not too much filler. Very well seasoned and makes you want more. The menu very well curated to almost anyone's taste Parking easy but no valet anymore.

Yelp
Beautiful , Classy, Tasteful are all the words I will use to describe this gorgeous Restaurant. I found this place by mistake. Drive down Quarry place I noticed the Restaurant CITRON but what caught my attention was the lake behind the restaurant which looked so beautiful. So when I realized Valentine's Day was coming up I looked at their website to see if I could find a menu and I did. So usually the Restaurant does not open on Tuesdays but because it was Valentine's Day it was opened. First of all I was greeted by a gentleman in the front. The hostess was nice and she walked us to our seat. My goodness the Ambiance was everything! Stunning!!! I mean this restaurant is just beautiful. This restaurant looks like it could be in DC so I'm happy it's here. They do not have bread. They served us something else ( I have all the pictures) it looked and tasted good. It was sort of a cold salad and it had quinoa in it. As the food came it each and every item was not only absolutely delicious but the presentation was also lovely. From the soup to the salad to the Seabass and the Steak to the dessert. This restaurant did not fail!!!! However I'm going to give this place a $$$$$ sign. This restaurant is extremely expensive. The total bill for my 2 hour date was $300 and this is without Alcohol . Don't say I didn't give you a heads up. This is no place for a light pocket. Nope! Enjoy the pictures. I would absolutely recommend this Restaurant and I will be visiting again.

Curtis A.

Yelp
The food was subpar. The service was nonexistent to even rate it good or bad. Fellow patrons were extremely loud. Spent $500+ and can confidently say I won't return.

Yelp
Citron offers a modern American fare, focusing on seasonal ingredients. We came here for dinner after a work event, and we ordered the following to share: +Crispy Fresh Calamari - with blistered chilis and a spicy passion fruit glaze; this was tossed in the glaze, so maybe request the sauce on the side to not make this overly sweet +Colossal Chilled Shrimp - served with cocktail sauce; the shrimp was not as fresh as we would have liked, and these were underwhelming +an Artisan Cheese Board - with dried fruit, candied pecans, ciabatta, and wafers, along with the daily cheese selection; we weren't impressed with this, as we thought the board would be more bountiful +a Janbo Sushi Platter - came with a jumbo Rainbow roll (a California roll wrapped in salmon, tuna, hamachi, and avocado), a jumbo California roll (filled with jumbo lump crab meat, avocado, and cucumber slices), nigiri, and sashimi; the fish tasted somewhat fresh; this platter to share was okay +Jumbo Diver Sea Scallops - served with a tri-color orzo, spiral primavera veggies, and sweet pepper relish; the scallops were slightly overcooked with a thick 'crust'; pepper relish was not needed +and, the Gourmet Chilean Sea Bass - served with asparagus, sweet bell peppers, cauliflower mash, and a citrus beurre blanc; the bass was cooked well, as it was delicate and flaky Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The restaurant itself is modern-like and gives off a sophisticated vibe. Make sure you request the table by the fireplace or a table that has a curved sofa, depending on the size of your party. Note that if you use a CC, 3% is automatically added; in terms of gratuity, 20% is automatically added to your check. Free street parking available around the restaurant. +friendly & efficient service +free street parking available

Yelp
Mother's Day brunch 2024 will never be forgotten by my family. Let me began our server Reginald was abousluy the best. Ordered the chicken and waffles...received chicken nuggets and one 2 in waffle, we looked like ok this is for the wrong table, called our server and he confirmed this is what they are serving. This cost of this entree $30.00....called for the manager because we refuse to pay $30.00 for air fryer nuggets, sent the plates back. More to this event as you could imagine but l just don't have the words now to continue.

Sharday J.

Yelp
I love this place. It's easily become one of my go-to's. Since 2021, their prices have risen astronomically! The scallops were around $38. Now, they're $65 to give reference. Appetizers range between $20-75! The manager always greets you with kindness as though he's known you for years or as if you're his favorite customer! He's a gem and quite theatrical!

Heather P.

Yelp
Location is excellent with both free street parking and valet. The service was fantastic. Our waiter was very attentive. I ordered Sangria and calamari. I recommend the calamari. The online menu compared to the actual menu in the restaurant was conflicted. The website listed oysters which was the primary reason we went but the restaurant doesnt actually serve them according to our waiter. Didn't stay when we learned of the oyster confusion. The restaurant is gorgeous with outdoor seating on a deck overlooking the quarry. Staff was really nice and the place appeared super clean. Ambiance very upscale, soft music, classy and fun.

Yelp
This was my first time at Citron and what a delightful experience. If you were to book a reservation here its a bit pricey $$$, but if the service and quality of the food served at the graduation party I attended is any indication of what you would receive in the resturant, then all I can say is whoa! Let's start with the apps that were served. Calamari was served on a small ceramic spoon nestled in marinara sauce. Crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Perfection! Next up, chicken teriyaki on skewers tasty, but not overly impressed. The coconut shrimp came with a sweet sauce and you received 2 large shrimp. Nicely cooked, but not my favorite primarily because I'm not a huge fan of coconut shrimp anywhere, but I will say many of the guest raved about the shrimp. The winning app for me was the braised beef short rib. This was tender and flavorful sitting on top of a round of crusty bread which soaked up all of the delicious essence of the beef. For the entree I chose the rockfish. This dish came sitting on a bed of fluffy mashed potatoes, carrots, broccolini and cherry tomatoes. The fish was fresh and flaky with a light lemony sauce over it. The veggies were crisp and appeared to be roasted helping the flavor pop. No dinner is complete without dessert. Citron actually prepared the cake and it was yellow cake layered with chocolate frosting. The cake was pretty good and from the reaction of my table mates everyone throughly enjoyed a happy end to a delightful meal. I can't sign off without acknowledging the excellent wait staff. They were prompt with keeping the apps coming and serving the meal. Everything was done with a smile and your request were immediately taken care of. I also noticed that the manager or maybe owner was present throughout this event making sure everything was running smoothly.

Vee K.

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Enjoyed the ambiance as well. I got the calimari and it was bomb. Finished my meal with the chicken breast, which was sensational.

Katie A.

Yelp
Came for a group dinner. We had a fixed menu, and everything that was served was really well done. The meal started out with a lovely garden salad, and the entrée was surf and turf... it was white fish with a small portion of steak. Everything was quite tasty. The desert course was lovely - there was a panna cotta and a small chocolate dessert both of which were quite good!

Abigail R.

Yelp
Unfortunately, I was really looking forward to enjoying and really nice Mother's Day meal with my mom, but this experience made me almost embarrassed to take her out. I was really disappointed: First, we were seated and then had to wait 15 minutes until we ASKED a server for water, and then waited another five minutes. We had to flag the waitress who was greeting and serving the tables who were seated AFTER us; a waitress who had already acknowledged and spoke to a couple and a party of six who arrived after us. Then we watched as she was very friendly to the three tables surrounding us, offering them small talk, the wine menu, and cocktail menu; none of which she greeted us with. The food was good, but overall, I don't think our experience was worth the amount of money we paid.

Donna P.

Yelp
Charles, as I sit in your restaurant.. I refused to wait until leaving to give u guys amazing accolades.. From the hostess (Gabby), my amazing bartender Alexandra and her fellow colleagues - Jonathan & Will - to you actually clearing my plate at the bar! The food was great.. flavorful..nice sized portions and FRESH!! The decor was top notch and the bar area is beautiful... This was my 1st time, and I absolutely will be returning.. I had a horrible week. Thank u and ur staff for being amazing & making me smile.. FYI.. That Ginger Pear Margarita was okkkkk with me...

Jen H.

Yelp
My husband and I went here for a date night and had a great experience. I had the wedge salad to start and my husband had a Caesar salad. Both were great. For main courses we had a rainbow roll and filet mignon. Dessert was coconut cake and warm apple cobbler- both were wonderful! The service was also fantastic. We would definitely return.

Alexis B.

Yelp
My husband and I had dinner at Citron on Valentine's Day, and while I didn't have a bad experience, there isn't anything driving me to return. There was a set menu for V-Day, and we enjoyed most of what we received. They started by bringing us an amuse bouche, which was unfortunately really strange. When I've had amuse bouche in the past, they tend to be single bites? This was like a scoop of a quinoa and roasted veggie paste or salad served on top of some watercress. Texturally bizarre and definitely the ugliest amuse I've ever had. Didn't taste bad, just didn't make sense to me as an amuse at all! (But I was a little amused by it?! Maybe that was the point?) Next, we had the Maine Lobster Bisque and the hearts of white romaine Caesar salad with garlic bread croutons. The bisque was pretty good. The salad was - again - a little strange. Basic until you got to the wedge of Camembert cheese served on the salad! It's like brie - a soft cheese with an edible rind. But what purpose it served on a Caesar salad?! No idea. The entrees were the best part. We tried the 16 oz French braised lamb shank with caramelized cipollini onions, blistered string beans, and a juniper rosemary demi-glace. It was good. The lamb shank came right off the bone, and the dish overall was tasty. We also had the prime filet mignon with crushed potatoes and heirloom carrots. I think the filet medallions (3) were well-cooked, but the carrots were under. Overall, an okay dish. We also had desserts: a Luxardo cherry cheesecake and and a play on a chocolate bar with lots of chocolate and macadamia nuts. The cheesecake was fine, but if you say Luxardo cherry, I want a lot of Luxardo cherry. The cheesecake just had a light drizzle of cherry syrup and two Luxardo cherries on the side. Basically a standard cheesecake at the end of the day. The service was fine. I personally think you don't need to overdo the Valentines Day theme. The pink uplighting, the V-Day themed cocktails, the heart-shaped croutons...it was all a little much for me. The food overall was okay. Pretty old school, I would say. Nothing that I'd return for. For $85 a person for the Valentine's Day meal, I wasn't super impressed, but it wasn't a bad meal. If you're looking for something that's a little traditional and old school, this restaurant could work for what you're looking for.

Yelp
I visit Citron with my family for my mothers birthday. It's definitely fitting for a special occasion. The overall ambiance and interior décor is really nice and perfect for photos. I tried a few starters: Shrimp Spring Rolls, Asian Tso Sauce 20 - Not memorable but not bad Chilled Jumbo Shrimp Texas Brown, Cocktail Sauce, Citrus 23 - Pretty bland Hand cut Truffle Fries 15 - Favorite My entrée was delicious however. I had their Jumbo Diver Sea Scallops (60) which is just Maine Lobster, Potato Galette, Asparagus, Tomato Peperonata and Shellfish Pan Sauce. Very filling and nicely seasoned. Only flaw was that some of the scallop edges tasted a bit over cooked. All in tho, I would return.

Shanell C.

Yelp
I have been to citron a few times. I personally do not like the food the ambiance is amazing with the view and options of seating choices. This particular time I went because I wanted to date my bf and it was a beautiful day considering it being winter time. The waitress, I forgot her name and she was also training someone suggested the sushi. I wanted oysters however they did not have any. Must've looked at an old menu. The sushi was cooked(tempura) but it's called something else on the menu. It was really delectable and fresh! Might have been the best sushi I ever had. I had a glass of pinot. and that was it...... The bill was $91 now I am not a person that complains about bills because I love to eat good food and try different restaurants and don't really do that if I don't have the funds to. I know the price of food has decreased due to covid, however to me this was absurd!!

p j.

Yelp
I went there for dinner knowing that it would expensive. The food, service and ambience was good, but they charge almost twice what you would pay at a comparable restaurant. What bothers the hell out of me is two fold. (1) mandatory service fee of 20%. Many times I give 20% TIP depending on service, but there is now there is no incentive for a server to perform excellent service. I am sure that the 20% does not go to the server. (2) They add a 3% surcharge for using a credit card!! I can understand nickle and diming if it was a low cost austere carryout, but an overpriced restaurant??? I guess I should be lucky that they did not charge me for a refill on my tapwater .

Jessica J.

Yelp
The staff was amazing. Our server, Emmanuel was superb. He answered all of questions and was extremely personable while doing so. Our food was scrumptious and seasoned to perfection. Our cocktails were delicious as well. I'll definitely visit again! Food: Chilean Sea Bass, Crab cake, Lobster bisque

Christine B.

Yelp
My son and daughter in law had their wedding here and nothing that was promised was delivered. Second wedding held at same time ended up receiving all of what was promised to my son, including the use of some of our decorations. Nothing was set up on time causing a one hour delay in starting the wedding. Guests were bumped and hit with tables during the room turnover. Sound system (really just Bluetooth enabled speaker) was aweful... I could go on... To say it was a horrible experience is an understatement.. Lastly, the final bill was grossly inflated (four different totals). The 22% gratuity charged on top of the 20% gratuity on every drink from the cash bar was the straw that broke the camel's back. I believe in leaving a generous gratuity when it's earned.. in this case it absolutely was not.

Aaron B.

Yelp
Made my way to Citron for a birthday celebration. Another good experience here. Great host and waiters to help make the celebration run smooth and enjoyable. Appetizers came out family style and had to be shared. Depending on how many people you have, your appetite and what you like to eat, another set of appetizers may have to be ordered. Appetizers included spring rolls, calamari and steamed shrimp which were all very good! Next we were served a chopped salad. Little bit too much pepper for my liking but still tasty and not overly dressed with dressing. There was a 4 choice main course we could select from. I went with the filet mignon. Came with asparagus and potatoes. Filet mignon was tender and cooked like I requested to perfection. Drink of choice was a sunset breeze. Nice and strong drink. The mango sorbet was a tad too sweet but I really enjoyed it. Very good place for dinner night with their elegant vibe, low lighting, nice music and great service

Regina A.

Yelp
Some of these reviews are interesting to me. Bad reviews because a place is nice and gives you a special menu? That's amazing. To me it was a very pleasant restaurant experience with a personal touch. I felt my waitress was professional and attentive. I just moved to the area from out of state and when they heard about it they gave me a nice welcome. Not many places do that! The food was delicious. The calamari was my personal favorite. The sea bass was also really good. My husband had the lamb, very nicely done. Give it a try it is a beautiful restaurant overlooking water. I would highly recommend!

Christina F.

Yelp
Citron is one of our favorite restaurants, so, naturally it was the only place in contention to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. Everything was exceptional, as always! The food, the service (and let's not forget the requested yacht rock station). I'm glad we were able to share one of our most fave places with our family and friends. My husbands birthday celebration phenomenonal- actually he said it was his best birthday celebration yet! If you haven't experienced Citron - go! You won't regret it!

Yelp
Wow ! As many times as I have been to Citron I can not believe I have not wrote a review! I have seen Citron change over time and I love what I'm seeing now! Ohh and tasting. Citron has rebecome on of my favs. I have to be honest the food at one point was becoming a little lackluster but babby now?! We are back in business! You guys know I love great customer service which Citron has! Ask for Howard his service is amazing!!! He also has great menu recommendations! During COVID Citron is practicing true social distancing which I appreciate. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor views are stunning and the inside makes you feel like you are in a luxury restaurant in Europe! I have tried may things on the menu at Citron but the Salmon is my fav! It has so much flavor and is accompanied by great pairings it's a match made in heaven! Also the pear margarita ohh em gee! They are so so so good!!! You have to get one when you go! Another favorite of mine are their fries lol they are classic shoestring fries and are so tasty! Last but not least is the are my ultimate go to the crispy Brussels abs cauliflower!! So so so good! Overall citron you have rewon my heart and I'm so happy to see Baltimore county have you in its backyard! You can go to citron for any occasion- happy hour, proposal, lunch or whatever!!! Five stars!

Yelp
Food is very good. Nothing I had was too inspired but tasty and seasoned/cooked well. We got the ribeye and the Jumbo scallops. Drinks took quite some time and were underwhelming considering this is considered fine dining. Btw the decor is beautiful and well suited for a fine dining experience. But again the service and drinks were not in line with prices, decor, or quality of food. Our server was kind but seemed anxious to leave the table and delivered melted ice cream to our table (see pics). Woman who may have been floor manager responded by immediately replacing it with a new scoop. Then it came back from our server as chocolate chip because the vanilla "was not frozen all the way". It was appreciated as it was comp'd cuz it was my bday. Overall I give the experience a 6/10 a day fine dining experience. I would try it again in the hopes for better service but if a full fine dining experience is what you're after - I've found none yet better than The Charleston where the food and service and drinks are all top notch Things took long that shouldn't have for a Saturday night at 9pm when they were not busy.

Yelp
Overpriced, overcooked, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone & poor services! I can't write anymore because it is not worth my time! Don't go and save your time & money!

Yelp
This place was highly recommended. The food was okay. The drinks were good and strong. The customer service and professionalism was very bad. We came for my sister bachelorette dinner. She ordered chicken. The chicken came out and was not well done. She sent it back. They brought her another one and that one was not done. And then ordered salmon. The salmon was very very salty. I ordered a citron lemon drop. It came in a baby cup. I was disappointed. I had to order another drink after the waiter told me that I could have gotten a bigger version of my drink. The ambiance is nice but the customer service and the food is not the best. For it to be a five star restaurant I was very disappointed.

Yelp
The views at Citron are absolutely gorgeous! Came here on a Saturday evening to celebrate an anniversary. We made reservations for an outdoor table. Service was professional and fast the entire meal. We got started with some dirty martinis. We shared the cold seafood platter. I got the filet mignon and fiancé got the Chilean sea bass. Everything was really delicious! They are accommodating with substituting sides which is great. Not a cheap meal, so definitely a special occasion restaurant. I'd love to check out their bar menu because I love the restaurant vibe!

Yelp
I visited Citron for a birthday event on a Saturday evening. Citron is a hidden gem. The location is great, lots of parking. The restaurant as a whole is just beautiful, an amazing view of the lake. They have plenty of outdoor seating options. We sat in the main dining area which was very pretty I loved it. Our waiter Will was amazing! So helpful and accommodating. The drink was great, I got ginger pear. For food I got the lamb chops 10/10. Mash potatoes was 10/10. Mac and cheese not so great, didn't taste seasoned. Same with the calamari was not that great. I think aesthetically a great place to try, with lots of food options. They are on the pricier side in terms of entree's. I would visit again and try different things on the menu

Yelp
Recently went to citron for a date & the ambiance was beautiful from the time you step foot in the door. Ordered the crabcake and asparagus and the food was amazing. The waiter was nice too.

Yelp
I wanted to give it a 5 star but when I arrived the hostess asked me to put my umbrella in the holder because it was raining out. So I did not thinking twice. When I came out from my dinner party it was gone and the hostess was off. No one could find my umbrella. Umbrellas are not cheap so I was very upset. That aside the restaurant and food was great. We did a birth dinner celebration in one of the private rooms for a friend birthday. The calamari was good but you only get 5 rings the rest were the crumbs so that was a disappointment for the price. My sushi was delicious it had crab and shrimp and the waitress recommended it. You won't be disappointed. I didn't get the crab cake but I was told the crab cake, veal, and lamb were all great options too get. The green beans were my favorite vegetable the asparagus was good too but the green beans were better. I definitely recommend Citron we are coming back soon for happy hour. Oh try the lemon drop too. It's a great date night o girls night out. Get cute and sexy and enjoy the vibe. The music was also nice an on point. It's an open parking lot if you don't want to do valet parking.

Yelp
This is a very nice spot. The location is fairly new and the area continues to grow. I was able to go for restaurant week and enjoyed the experience. The crowd was a little older, but overall pleasant experience. The braised short rib was very good. If I had a critique about the food, it would be that the crab soup was served a little on the cold side. It was served nicely, but could have been better. The bartender seemed fairly new/inexperienced but hopefully he feels more confident with time. My first drink was a sangria. It was not my favorite. I guess I would describe it as "flat." Overall, nice decor. Good outside seating. Live music was a plus (though I wasn't familiar with a lot of the songs played). Management was friendly and welcoming.

Yelp
Extremely underwhelming! Service was good, but the food was boring! I won't return!

Yelp
Cheesecake Factory quality food with a michelin star price tag. Save your money and go to a foreman/wolf restaurant if you enjoy high quality food in a beautiful setting. I had a pasta dish for $40 that tasted like canned cream sauce over premade ravioli. We also had mealy lobster bisque and $40 California rolls. The price point is absurd. Honestly, Cheesecake Factory is better. Truly a waste of money and time.

Yelp
Last night our tribe had I had a marvelous (birthday) dinner and over all experience at Citron! The food was impeccable! The owner and our waitress Brooksie was AMAZING! They showed us so much love and attention... including some complementary drinks. Definitely going back we had an absolutely fabulous time!

Yelp
My friends and I went to Citron for outdoor dining and loved the upscale ambiance. The service was fantastic and we were sitting more than 10 feet away from other parties. Most of the appetizers are $20 each with entrees 35-50 dollars each. For this amount I expect my palette to be wowed. I can't say there was anything particularly special about food we had- calamari was solid and the short rib flatbread was deeply lacking flavor. We tried fried spring rolls which were good but again did not live up to the price. The only 5 star item I thoroughly enjoyed was the pear margarita- strong but delicious! The atmosphere at Citron is so lovely I would return again during the day (opens at 4 PM) to get a nice view of the lake and enjoy a cocktail but probably skip the food.

Yelp
Went last week with a few friends from work- the food was delicious. The poke bowl was a real hit and the star of what we ordered. The mix of fresh salmon, tuna and himachi was divine. The truffle Mac and cheese was delicious as well- buttery and creamy and melt in your mouth. Our dining companions had the flat bread and salad which was good but not great- I think they were underwhelmed. For dessert the chocolate caramel pâte (more like a flourless chocolate truffle) was a real standout. The decor and service was 5 stars - I only wish we had come earlier to see the waterfront view. Also it was our groups first time eating out during COVID and we had safety concerns looking for a place to dine- felt reassured at Citron. They have a state of the art newly installed air purification system. Tables were placed far apart from each other. The only negative was that they advertised outdoor seating but it is really more like a covered patio seating and the air seemed to be better inside. This would be great during the daytime so you can see the water but I think indoor seems safer here.

Yelp
Sushi bar! Outside atmosphere. Gotta tank this one of Baltimore's Best! Incredible service, amazing views, and good food. Starting with complimentary valet and a choice of multiple special seating options. 1. Outside with a view of the quarry 2. Inside with a fancy nuveaux steakhouse atmosphere 3. Tented outdoors 4. Separate Building The servers were out in force to make sure the service was incredible, and it was. Personal attention with a calm happy experience. Appetizers were good, but not amazing. (I love good food, but even more I like to criticize good food). The tomato flatbread that I ordered without tomato didn't have much on it (is the customer always right? This one may have been my fault, but I was the customer, so it is ok to critique it like I know what and how to order, plus it was a family compromise decision). Loved the poke bowl and the sushi was right on. The ice cream sundae was terrific fancy ice cream and chocolate shavings. The key lime pie was disappointing and more lemon than key lime and not very substantial. The sauce almost made up for the small size. Overall I am excited to have found a local fancy place to mark events. Can' wait to try out brunch and happy hour

Yelp
Great location. Nice interior design. That's all that I found good. Bar area noisy and unpleasant.Dining areas noise levels are acceptable. What isn't acceptable? Food, cooking expertise all mediocre at best. Overpriced for what you get isn't even a question, it's an absolute criticism. Mediocre caterer equals mediocre restaurant. And the cost isn't the reason. I have no problem or complaints about high quality, NYC, San Francisco and other major cities restaurant prices but this place "Citron" would tank in a month in any of those and other cities.

Yelp
1st no parking lot & no valet which means most guests must park across the street in a shopping center. 2nd hostess wasn't warm, friendly, or inviting and wasn't appropriately dressed. More to come after dinner..
