Citron offers a modern American fare, focusing on seasonal ingredients.
We came here for dinner after a work event, and we ordered the following to share:
+Crispy Fresh Calamari - with blistered chilis and a spicy passion fruit glaze; this was tossed in the glaze, so maybe request the sauce on the side to not make this overly sweet
+Colossal Chilled Shrimp - served with cocktail sauce; the shrimp was not as fresh as we would have liked, and these were underwhelming
+an Artisan Cheese Board - with dried fruit, candied pecans, ciabatta, and wafers, along with the daily cheese selection; we weren't impressed with this, as we thought the board would be more bountiful
+a Janbo Sushi Platter - came with a jumbo Rainbow roll (a California roll wrapped in salmon, tuna, hamachi, and avocado), a jumbo California roll (filled with jumbo lump crab meat, avocado, and cucumber slices), nigiri, and sashimi; the fish tasted somewhat fresh; this platter to share was okay
+Jumbo Diver Sea Scallops - served with a tri-color orzo, spiral primavera veggies, and sweet pepper relish; the scallops were slightly overcooked with a thick 'crust'; pepper relish was not needed
+and, the Gourmet Chilean Sea Bass - served with asparagus, sweet bell peppers, cauliflower mash, and a citrus beurre blanc; the bass was cooked well, as it was delicate and flaky
Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient.
The restaurant itself is modern-like and gives off a sophisticated vibe. Make sure you request the table by the fireplace or a table that has a curved sofa, depending on the size of your party.
