City Barbeque

I wasn’t that impressed with my food from here. My brother recommended a brisket salad (he had it at the Park Ridge location). It was ok, I expected better. I also had a basket of fried pickles. They were very soggy, overly seasoned and the breading was falling off. Pickles should be individually fried not as a whole jar tossed in the frying pan. They were expensive too: $8 for a platter. The chicken tenders were good though. This was my 2nd trip here. Last time I got ribs and there was barely any meat on them. For $30 ribs, I would expect something better. Not sure if the two locations differ in how they prepare their food, but we’re not going back any time soon. Also they forgot to add the bun I ordered with my chicken tenders.

Ordered the pick 2 with brisket and sausage. Best brisket I’ve tasted in a long time. I highly recommend the brisket. The sides were delicious, green beans and greens. Peach cobbler was yummy and so was the banana pudding. Ice tea was yummy too.

Great food, staff and atmosphere!!! Melt in your mouth, flavorable food from main dishes, sides and deserts! Large variety of drinks from pop, ice teas, lemonade and beer! Staff is the best! Very curtious and constantly thinking about their customers! Great place that gets involved in fund raisers for the community! Can't wait until the patio is open!!!

This is horrible. How is this anything like the picture of the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich? The chicken was dry and so small. It was more of a chicken nugget. There was no coleslaw on the sandwich and just 1 pitiful pickle. You should be ashamed. I paid $8.99 for this.

We had the beef brisket and pulled pork, which were both excellent!! Very tender and perfectly smoked flavor! Got the peach cobbler to go and wasn't disappointed!😁

Awesome BBQ place. The service was great, food was delicious and the restaurant is also very clean. Now this is going to be one of my favorite places to eat some delicious BBQ. You must give it a try, I'm sure you will love it too. They also have different types of bbq sauces and they were all very good too. Glad my sister found this place !!! Love it !!!! The only thing that I will not get anymore is the corn bread (too dry) and the beans (too sweet for me).

It’s sometimes difficult to find great Barbecue these days. Yet, City Barbecue at 14301 South LaGrange is the place. The ribs are thick and they have a variety of sauces. Other entrees include pulled pork, cornbread, Potato salad, baked beans, BBQ Chicken, Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork and Banana Pudding. Something for everyone. Love that I can call, have it ready for pick up, to-date on time.

Got a family pack of the pulled pork. Not much flavor on the meat. Some parts tasted too salty. The fries were average at best. I had asked for cups of cheese, not on top of the fries. Definitely not coming back.
