Canadian Asian Grocer T&T Supermarket Is Coming to San Francisco | Eater SF

"Announced in a store press release on Friday, March 28, the Canada-based Asian grocery chain will open a new location at City Center (2675 Geary Boulevard), the same shopping complex that houses Target and PetSmart and located just across the street from Trader Joe’s. The store will focus on Asian food products and the chain’s private-label brand and will feature a hot food counter and bakery; prepared food items include “Peking duck, crispy papa chicken, BBQ items, and a sushi counter,” according to the announcement. The included bakery will sell over 150 types of baked bread and over 50 pastries, such as a Napoleon Portuguese egg tart and lava mochi puffs, and the spirits section emphasizes Korean soju and Japanese sake. This will be the chain’s second announced Bay Area location and its fourth U.S. location overall — the brand first launched stateside in Bellevue, Washington, in December 2024 — and aims to open the San Francisco store in winter 2026; a separate location at Westgate Center in San Jose is projected for fall 2025." - Dianne de Guzman

Neighborhoods in Manchester

"Manchester has a small city center, but it’s packed with several smaller areas that all have their own distinct vibe. Chinatown is a network of side streets filled with the busiest Asian stores and eateries in town. It’s more pan-Asian than the name lets on though, so make sure to check out the Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese spots too. The Gay Village, located just a five-minute walk from Chinatown, centers on Canal Street, which has long been the heart of Pride celebrations. Alternative nightclubs and parties for the LGBTQ community, including the popular Homoelectric and High Hoops nightclubs, have now found homes away from the Village, but the area remains buzzing every weekend with bars, clubs, and hotels. For mainstream international brands try the Arndale shopping center on Market Street, while designer names can be found in the high-end department stores in the redeveloped Shambles area." - MATADOR_NETWORK

Neighborhoods in Belfast

"Of course, Belfast’s city center is worthy of a mention in its own right. The first thing that visitors will notice is the wide range of architectural styles. The City Hall was built in the 19th century in a neo-Baroque style, with stone pillars and a vast surrounding lawn. In contrast, Art Deco and Georgian shopfronts can be found the whole length of Donegal Place and Royal Avenue. Unsurprisingly, the city center is also the hub of Belfast’s commercial activity and its main shopping district. The centerpiece of the city’s regeneration project is the Victoria Square complex, an open-air hunting-ground for those who like designer brands and chic boutiques. Come rain or shine, the pedestrian streets of the city center are lined with performers and buskers of all kinds." - MATADOR_NETWORK

City Center is a vibrant urban hub with stylish shops, diverse dining, and open spaces—perfect for socializing, relaxing, or enjoying a modern shopping experience.

Went on a Target run. As usual, it was a quick in/out situation. This is how i always shop. No wandering the aisles. List in hand and sticking to it .

Google
Security administered a parking infraction for parking on level F outside Petsmart while going to somewhere in the complex (F45 workout class; less than 1h). Infraction claims I “don’t have a permit” however no signs in the area indicate that permits are required. Level F lists F45 as a business in the complex making it a valid place to park!!

Google
The Target at City Center was rather disappointing. It's my third visit to this location as it's the most convenient shopping location for me, within a short distance from my residence and work. The employees appear to be somewhat disgruntled, and it seems as though they're disappointed when you check out with a substantial amount of groceries and/or merchandise. From what I can gather, all they worry about is who's turn it is to go on break...I have awarded an extra star for the courteous security team. I will not be returning as there is a Trader Joe's, Earth Fare, and other stores nearby.

Parking different levels. So what busy and slow to park. Just pay attend. You'll find one. Inside it is busy and difficult to get around. Got support from a salesperson. Brought me what I requested from the back storage area. Plus found what I need in the aisles Checkout Long line but it did go slow and smooth. Coworker's to assist you to the next available checkout.

Yelp
I just wanted to find out if a certain store whose name I could not recall was still operating at City Center. I spent half an hour searching the internet for a list of "stores" or "tenants" at the Center, to no avail. This should be the first thing they put up on the website! Shame.

Yelp
I recommend not shopping at City Center because there is a known problem for car break-ins in the parking lot and there isn't any sort of surveillance system in place to deter them. When dealing with this problem myself, the police and security guard (who was nowhere to be found until about 20 minutes after it happened) told me that this occurs on a daily basis. As convenient as this shopping center is, I will not be shopping here until there is some kind of security system in place and I would recommend others to consider doing same.

Yelp
Target and a couple of other junky stores and fast food joints. Dreary and sad. Best Buy closed a while ago, too bad. But they keep building. Why, I don't know. The best things they could do to this dump are: (1) Turn it back into a Sears store which is how it started or (2) tear it all down and turn it back into the cemetery it used to be. Shop someplace else!

Yelp
As of 9/26/2020 Still not that great for City Center. It just when will it be as great as Gellert Marketplace, San Bruno Towne Center, Bridgepointe, Pacific Commons Shopping Center, The Fremont Hub, Hacienda Crossings and Persimmon Place, Pacific Pearl in the Bay Area. The remodeling or update does not really help it. It still lacks decor, style and over all looks. Unlike those other shopping center, even the neighborhood and it side streets are NOT that great either a little past Divisadero. It still doe not help make the City Center any better. The other Shopping centers in the Bay Area has great surroundings, decor, style and over all looks. Between Potrero Center and City Center who is worst or are they about the same. Potrero Center also lacks decor, style and over all looks. The neighborhood and it side streets not that great either. It still doe not help make it any better also. What new business has really gone in to that place. When will they think and learn from those shopping centers and it surroundings to be better. The people that has a say and power on making the neighborhood to look better and nicer, not really doing anything about it. Shoppers probably would rather go to the Stonestown Target, IF they can't get to the Colma, Serramonte Center and Tanforan Mall one. Well those that live in the Outer Sunset/Park Side, Inner Sunset, Golden Gate Heights near the Outer Sunset/Park Side and West Portal. Maybe even some in other parts of the Richmond neighborhood. When the Stonestown Galleria Target expand, maybe even more. Because it might have the feel and size of the other Targets.

Yelp
We went to target in this shopping center on a Saturday night around 9:00 and our car got broken into in the parking lot. The security for the center seemed unconcerned that our car and another families van both got our windows smashed and things taken from our cars. He told us to call the police. The police of course do not come out for a break in and merely file an online report. As we were waiting for a tow truck, several more cars pulled into the lot to park. We told them NOT to park there. I will NEVER go back to this complex again!
