City Foundry STL

City Foundry STL’s Food Hall is such a fun spot in Midtown! There’s a huge variety of local vendors — from poke bowls and creole food to waffles and cheesecakes — so everyone can find something they like. The atmosphere is modern but still keeps the industrial charm of the old foundry building, with plenty of open seating. It can get really busy on weekends, so finding a table sometimes takes a minute, and prices are a bit higher than your average food court. But overall, the vibe is great for hanging out with friends, trying new foods, or grabbing a casual meal before exploring the rest of the Foundry area. Favorites: Mazaj, BerryBox and Sylvie Dee's Definitely worth checking out — especially if you love supporting local spots and trying new flavors!

The layout of this building is very cool and unique with the industrial vibe. Very well designed space. The food choices were awesome. We had 9 people in our group and we all found something we liked here. Service was fast and friendly! I got a sandwich and it was a 10/10.

Very cool place. We tried the popsicles, pizza, boba, and creole kitchen.. disappointed in the creole.. the gumbo was $27 and it had corn in it 👀 this was not authentic and unfortunately subpar. You can’t call yourself a creole kitchen and not be.. coming from a woman born and raised in Louisiana I never seen no corn in any gumbo. Otherwise we really enjoyed our first visit to the Foundry. Did the squid games VR and that was really neat! Shopped at a couple stores. Def will be back here if we visit STL again.

Had a bit of a wait, but it was worth. We took our granddaughter for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. She had a waffle and couldn't even finish it. My wife had a pastrami sandwich and I had country fried steak and eggs - both were very good.

Very unique place with lots of adventurous and simple food options. It was easy to sample from multiple stalls, and everything was delicious. The building is very industrial with much of the original steel equipment still intact, which makes for a cool atmosphere as well.

Great use of indoor and outdoor space. Since more eateries have been added, there should be something for all palates. Both covered and outdoor parking. Perfect place for families and dates. Although the retail spaces are not all filled, there is enough to keep you interested on a walk. Ample parking however you may need to walk a bit.

If you want a variety of great tasting food and drinks this is the place! We went twice! Soo good! Such a fun atmosphere. There's a huge variety of food places to choose from, shops and entertainment!

The host was great at the Great Big Game Show. The work team building outing was a huge success! Tori was on par with her Mississippis!

The City Foundry is honestly the best thing that's ever happened a St. Louis foodie. It's a food hall packed with all the local favorites, all in one spot. We go here all the time because it's just that good. Our staples? Fordo's Pizza, Toasted, Surest, Hello Poke, and Berry Box. The best part is wandering around, grabbing something small from each booth, and by the end, you're so full you need a nap. It's perfect.

I actually found the Foundry completely by surprise while I was walking eastward aimlessly while departing IKEA. This is basically an indoor food hall with a large number of options. It's probably not worth it going into each one individually since a lot of these places just rent a space on a short term basis, so there's no guarantee any one given place will still be there long term. Still, all your options pretty much seem to be there: mexican, baked goods, burgers, bbq... they even had some creole stuff, i seem to recall, so the options are good I personally tried a smoothie and poke. I thought the poke was fine but kind of expensive, though frankly everything in the city foundry seems a little pricy. If it's the price to pay for something like this (the only thing like this?) in St. Louis it might be worth it, since you probably only come here once in a while

What's this place all about? It doesn't have a dominant restaurant. It doesn't have a destination bar. The prices are set like this is a downtown location. I think this place has tons of potential but it doesn't have an anchor bar/restaurant that would bring me in and once I was there I wanted to leave because of the lack of a scene. There are some unique shops in here but that's about it. Sorry just wasn't impressed.

The city foundry has come a long way since its inception. What began as a food hall with a few small shops has blossomed into a happening hub. The foundry has expanded to more restaurants, more experiences, and more events. The food is all fresh and local. And, it offers a diverse selection of grub for all preferences and palettes. A few of my favorites include subdivision, expat, fordo's, poptimism. If you aren't feeling food you can hit the shops or play some putt putt. If those do not sound appealing then you can play some virtual reality at sandbox vr. So many options for any and all! The foundry is a must hit for locals and visitors alike!

They have underground covered parking which worked out perfectly since it was raining. We only toured the food court with our granddaughter for lack of time. The food court had many options. We ordered food from an Afro Caribbean restaurant, a Jamaican, and a Mediterranean place. We didn't get to do all the activities available. All the services that were provided were top notch. My granddaughter ordered wings that were cooked to order with seasoned fries. She really enjoyed them. I ordered shrimp and grits that were very flavorful but they were just lukewarm. I liked the flavor. My wife ordered a chicken rice dish with cabbage. She thought it was great. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap for my grandson. Jury is still out because we ordered it to go. I ordered Baklava which looked like it was made offsite. It was very flavorful. My granddaughter ordered ice cream with sprinkles and she loved it. The restrooms were very clean. The overall experience was very positive and we will return.

Fun place! Lots of options! Felt a bit pricey for a food court but we enjoyed dinner here and everyone got something they liked from poke to pizza to Mediterranean food.

Parking in the garage was easier than expected (though bumps in the middle might assist all the... specially challenged... drivers who couldn't consider a 2 way traffic flow. The choice of restaurants is fantastic. The restrooms were clean. The musician performing was lovely. The lights added great ambiance. My first time here, but definitely won't be my last.

I had a great grilled cheese, my dates got African food, a burger and a sandwich. There is something for any appetite- and lots of price points. The bar served good cocktails and the service was friendly. There is tons of seating and would be great for a big group. Free parking in the garage was a bonus!

What a come up the City Foundry has become. I came here when they were first opened and had limited food spots and nothing else. So to come back and see what the district has become is awesome! So many shops and eateries and entertainment venues to frequent is amazing. Food hall all staff were friendly, welcoming and eager to inform you on their food items . Walking around I got some ideas on what I wanted to come back and try for adult fun/family entertainment. Sandbox VR and Putt Shack are definitely on my radar. Museum of illusion caught my eye as well . Candle fusion on the list to name a few. Kudos to the developers on building this strip. Great for neighborhood jobs as well I'm sure .

Great variety of food options for all appetites and ages. Great idea for large parties to gather in good weather, or not! Bar service was stellar and was knowledgeable. We were able to try several different restaurants, but unfortunately some were already shut down over an hour prior to closing. I expect hours at an establishment like this to clearly be upheld, this was not the case here. We had to pick 2nd & 3rd options because they turned us away stating "no more orders for the night". Very frustrating!

What a fun experience! Our group was able to get individual options to satisfy each person. I tried Press which has various takes on waffles. I went with the churro waffle, which was delicious and stacked high with whipped cream. My partner got the Cristo which he enjoyed with a slightly sweet jam. We were sent a text when our order was ready, so we could sit anywhere and pick it up when it was ready. The young woman serving us was kind and helpful. We also got coffee on our way out, which was delicious. Everyone in our party was eager to come back and try more of the many options. They have free garage parking as well.

City Foundry Was Truly An Immersive STL Experience! My Best Friend And I Tried 3 Différent Local Spots! the Service Was Great, The Vibe Was Laid Back But Most Importantly, The Food Was Tastyyyy! We Got A Pizza Grilled Cheese That Was Buttery And Delicious But The Fig And Bacon Grilled Cheese? EXCEPTIONAL! The Bacon, Fig Jam And Cheese Was A Perfect Combo Of Salty, Sweet And Savory! YES! The Toasted Ravs From Toasted STL Was A Certified STL Classic! The Buffalo Ravs Were A Fun Twist On A STL Classic And Were The Perfect Balance Of A Little Spice And Savory. The Waffle Was AMAZING! I'm Always Down For A Sweet Treat. City Foundry Was A Great Experience! I Would Definitely Return To Try More Small Businesses!

I've been wanting to visit the foundry since it's opened but every time we have visited STL but sometimes we just forget that it exists. We finally remembered when my family of 15 couldn't decide on where to eat so I remembered, let's try the foundry since there's a bunch of different restaurants and everyone can just get whatever they want. That's what we did and we were able to try/sample a little bit of everything which was awesome! We came here on a Friday and during mid day, so it wasn't busy at all and the parking garage was empty. By the time we left, it was getting a little busy as vendors were coming in to set up for night events. I love that parking was free! The inside of the foundry was not as big as I thought it would be. It's actually one of the smallest food halls I've been to, I hope they're able to expand somehow on the future.

What a fantastic place to discover in STL. I came here twice yesterday--once in the morning for brunch and then at dinner. I love the indoor market/food hall vibe, and this place was worth the discovery. There are plenty of restaurants here, coffee shops, and other stores. This is a one-stop shop. The night market is happening on 12/10 and 12/17, so check this place out! As for parking, there is a three-level parking garage next to the City Foundry building, and it's free. I would bring my friends here if they're in town! I enjoyed my time here. I shall come back soon!

City Foundry is such a cool place, and a cool attraction, both for locals and for tourists visiting the area. There are several different things to do, and the vibe is trendy. One of the biggest draws is Alamo Drafthouse, which is why we were there. Before the movie, we had a very nice lunch in the Food Hall at Sub Division Sandwiches, and then we had a cocktail at The Kitchen Bar. The Theater itself was also a lot of fun. One of the great things about Alamo Drafthouse is that they don't put up with talking or texting during the movie. All theaters ask you to be polite in that regard, but Alamo actually enforces it. They also don't allow latecomers. In a world where theater etiquette often seems to be a thing of the past, it's refreshing to attend a movie knowing that rude patrons won't be tolerated. City Foundry has much more, so we'll definitely be returning. You can rent a bike from Urban Shark, enjoy a game of miniature golf on one of the most unique courses I've ever seen, grab a glass of wine at City Winery, or visit an optical illusion museum. In the Food Hall you have a lot of choices for food and drink, and there is so much more. This is a St. Louis attraction that the city can be very proud of.

I have not been to the Foundry since it first opened and was pleasantly surprised by the way it has expanded. Before making our selections we walked the food hall and settled on a whole fried fish from Sureste, chicken sandwich from Chicken Scratch and Chicken Empanada and fries with steak from an Argentinian food stall. We loved everything and left feeling very satisfied with our selection. Outside of the food, we were impressed with the storefronts, the virtual reality space, Puttshack and the Alamo Movie Theater. Such more great food and entertainment packed into one place!

There are so many food options here! I spent some time just waking around and looking at all of the food stalls. It was hard to decide what I wanted, because I wanted everything. I ended up getting a short rib rice bowl from Kalbi Taco Shack, a Mexican Asian fusion joint. It was excellent, let me tell you. It's housed in what used to be an old electric company, and it still maintains a lot of the electric company charm. Look up, and you'll see hooks and cranes hanging from the ceiling. Look around you and you'll see pipes and gadgets that used to function in the original building. It's really neat that City Foundry kept a lot of the soul of the building, while also modernizing it and making it functional for its new life: a place for people to gather and eat great food. I visited on a weekday during lunch, and it was bustling with people. That made me happy, because I like to see a busy food hall, especially one that's cool like this one. Fortunately, there are also lots of tables (many picnic bench tables) to sit at, and there's also seating outdoors. I didn't have any trouble finding a seat. I really want to come back to St. Louis and try some more of the restaurants at City Foundry. There are so many options and so little time!

We came to The Foundry before going to The Fox so we could eat and drink in a timely manner. We all got something different, but all were delish. Two of us split a pizza, and it came out quickly, but it was super wet. I didn't know if it was water or grease, but I had to blot a lot out. Another couple got Schwarma Chicken that was covered in delicious cheese and seasonings. And the other 2 people with us got a burger and waffle fries. The ambiance is that of a large food court, but cooler!

This was such a cool spot. I came to mini golf but to my surprise got to experience so much more. Plenty of food options. Such a great vibe. I highly recommend

There is always something for everyone at this urban style food court. We are working on trying every shop and have yet to be disappointed. 4Hens is always a go to with delicious creole toast! They do take a while to get you your food but it is worth the wait. Also the best burgers we've found in STL so far are at galactic, so many toppings and the waffle fries are perfect. This is a casual visit type of place, so no need to dress up.

SO AWESOME! Our family got food from several places, and every spot was a hit. The table had just been cleaned when we sat down, and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Plus parking is free!!!!!

The city foundry is an awesome place to gather friends & family! They have endless options of foods, dietary restrictions & even a bar! They have it all here from breakfast, to lunch & dinner & even desserts! This place is super modern but a good industrial feel! Service is great, you just choose wherever you want to go & listen for your food order, they'll call it out!

I love a good food hall and City Foundry definitely hits the mark. They have a really solid selection of stalls to choose from and there's also small business shops in and around the warehouse too. A major plus is that there's an indoor mini golf attached to the warehouse which is also a restaurant, so that's great for families or groups to check out. When I was here I got lunch and had a beer on a Friday. There was a very decent crowd but it wasn't packed. We got poke bowls from Hello Poke and it was really tasty. I hope to stop in here again if I'm back in STL because it's such a chill vibe.

This place has been evolving since it first open. Now there are more places to eat with lots more options around. This place seems very busy on Friday night like last night when I was here. Parking is harder to find during busy hours especially Friday nights or weekend. Last night I was driving for a good fifteen minutes to find parking. The area has enough lights at night and people around. There are so many great food choices it hard to go wrong with whatever you are craving for in a casual relaxing environment.

Lots of options and lots a space to eat. Clean atmosphere with a good amount of diversity.

Such a fun food hall. Can be busy but with all the options, food shouldn't take too long. Lots of big tables with great options for a group. Toasted ravioli was tasty and unique.

We went to the foundry and had a drink at the Kitchen Bar with my wife and son. Unfortunately the bar tender was incredibly rude ignoring us hiding in back to the point we had to wave with both hands to get his attention. What an ass! I observed several people walking off after they couldn't get service. Never again!

City Foundry is an unbelievable experience for St. Louisans and tourist alike. It almost feels like you are out of town somewhere while at the Foundry. This development has been so well planned out and designed. Free Parking is ample and makes visiting the Food Hall so appealing. There are Retail Stores, a Fresh Thyme Grocery Store, A Food Hall, and Entertainment. The Food Hall has choices for every type of eater. Health Nut, Foodie, Trend Setter, Regional, and more. I recommend sharing because there will be so many things you will want to taste and try. Plan a trip to the foundry ASAP. I held off visiting for far too long.

In my opinion the food hall at city foundry is very average. I haven't had anything that has blown my mind. It's all overpriced in my opinion for the quality it is. It's such a fun concept but never meets my expectations. They do have lots of options and many cuisines so everyone whether picky or not would be able to find something. In addition to the prices bothering me I also don't like how I can't get free tap water. One of my pet peeves is having to be forced to pay for bottled water especially when I'm eating. The surrounding area of the foundry is great so I would eat here again If I've completed walking around and shopping at the stores, hungry after a movie or any of the other activities at foundry. I would never make a point though to stop at the food hall.

Such a cool space! So many different cuisines/types of food, a bar + lots of options for things to do! So glad I found this place for my trip to St Louis! Will definitely be back!

You MUST check this place out if you're visiting St. Louis. They've got some of the best local businesses nestled into this spot, and I've always had a great experience with the people working here. Great food, great vibes, love coming here every time.

So many food options. I love how all of the restaurants are minorities. I went with Afro Caribbean cuisine Chez Ali. You get ALOT of food for the price. Oxtail plate was $20 and you get 2 large oxtails and plantains are extra but all plates come with rice and cabbage. I will definitely be back.

Great option if you and friends can't decide of a place to eat!! I got a delicious poke bowl, while one of my friends got a burger and another a sandwich. There are a lot of events happening and usually some fun live music to entertain your party!

Most of the place is a ghostTown after 7pm, and due to the now 3 YEAR construction project building a high rise, the roads on both Vandeventer and Forrest Park are blocked down to one lane 24/7. But the worst part of this entire complex is the parking. The 2 level garage has no bounceback mirrors around corners, and parked cars are broken into regularly, with no cameras AT ALL to aid in insurance filings and/or police reports. Yes. They have security, who drive worse than the folks pulling in and out of the garage. I have seen at least 2 looking at their phones, and another sleeping in the company SuV. There are signs reserving parking for the same snooty folks responsible for the recent traffic issues all over the state for a bike trail nobody uses called "Gateway Greenery"...and there have been times I think I fimd a spot only to see a cone with a cardboard sign reading "Reserved for Board Meeting". The answer to the parking issues was to add a Valet service, that only further complicates and crowds the joint. It also appears some construction workers park here as well. There was street parking next to Fresh Thyme, that has now been claimed by the city and turned into metered spots. The final straw came today after grabbing groceries and finding my passenger side window smashed. I looked around...and others had also been smashed, or doors left open....This was at 4pm. At night, it appears to only gets worse. The officer who came to take a report for my insurance told me homeless drug addicts occupy the stairwells and elevators, Some have been spotted shooting up while sitting on the foundry patio furniture, Others using the walls of the place as an open toilet. There was also a shootout several months back. Nothing here besides the FreshThyme and a movie theatre are reasons to risk your life and property, Im sure they too wish they built somewhere else. It wont be any better when this HighRise opens, the same officer told me there is no way they have enough "new" parking for every tenant and their guests. Clearly whomever owns the property are asleep at the wheel. -Literally.

What a great market! There were plenty of options and after a few days in STL wondering where everyone was hanging out - I found them! On my last day there I found my way over to the City Foundry after a local's recommendation. I had a hard time choosing which stalls I wanted to eat from, because nearly everything sounded amazing to me! It was busy on a Sunday - but not overwhelmingly. I'd definitely share with others visiting STL as an option to try some great food from local small businesses!

Had lunch at Inter-Galactic Burger and Shakes. The burgers and chili cheese fried were amazing! The customer service was great, but the pricing was a smidge high. The restaurant was clean and well-staffed.

Ever since visiting parlor in KC I have been looking for something similar. I think this was pretty close to parlor. It was super unique and we didn't have to pay for parking which is super nice. There is so many vendors to choose from and a picky eater. I was a little nervous, but ended up going with Fordo's pizza. After looking at the prices at all the different vendors, I think the prices are definitely expensive for the serving you get, but being downtown it's to be expected. I'd love to see a mission taco style place in here or an Italian spot. It's super unique in here and I'd say definitely worth the trip, I'd like to try the chicken place next.

Saint Louis is finally a big city in my eyes and all it took was for City Foundry to open. I have always been in love with food halls in other cities. One of my favorites is the French Market in Ogilvie Center and I think our City Foundry will give them a run for their money. The food court here is amazing with variety and local ownership. I am so glad they did not fill it up with national chains that you see in malls, it's truly hometown. Also, having The Kitchen Bar in the center also patrons to enjoy an adult beverage with their meal, or to just relax with friends as you decide what fun activities you are going to do in the Lou. As of now the retail space is sparse, but once it fills up I can see City Foundry definitely being a shopping destination. It will also be a place that tourist will tell their friends to check out when they visit STL.

So glad something like this opened up in St. Louis. Gives me major Anaheim Packing District vibes, but the best part? There are actually places to sit! We tried a few different places and shared plates from each restaurant. We got some from the chicken and waffles place, intergalactic burger, chez ali, and even some mini cheesecakes. Chicken and waffles was amazing!!! We got their classic and nashiville. Great fry on the chicken, all the flavors combines well. Waffle could have been a little better but you barely notice with how good it already is. Intergalactic burger had a bit if a wait, and is on the pricier side but we ended up loving the burger and dirty fries. Worth the wait I'd say. Chez Ali was amazing amazing amazing carribean food and the portions were huge. It was our last main course spot and we almost didnt even finish! They opened a little later than the other restaurants but so worth it, and the line wasnt too bad. Also do not skip out on the plantains!!! Last up was the petite minu cheesecakes! They had fun flavors and the one we got was pretty good. After all that food sharing a petite sized one was the way to go!

If you are looking for a place to bring someone who can't decide on what to eat, this is the place to bring them. The food hall has lots of great local options as well as a bar in the middle. If you're not looking to eat, there are local shops as well as Puttshack, Alamo Drafthouse, Fresh Thyme grocery store, and the new Museum of Illusions to name a few. There are even more places coming to the Foundry, so I am excited to see what else is next!

Woah! I've lived in STL my whole life and somehow I just went to the Foundry for the first time today & WOW!!!!! The options here are endless... food, shopping, mini golf and VR games?!?! It's everything you could want and more! I went into several shops and ended up getting some things from Procure which only showcases WOMEN OWNED BUSINESSES!!! Absolutely loved this store and Golden Gems next to it which is also a women's empowerment boutique!! Next I hit up the food hall for some much needed tacos from Kalbi tacos which were delicious and were ready super quick! Next time I will have to try more food options and check out more stores, but I was a little crunched on time. When leaving I saw the VR game room and Puttshack! Those will also be on my list for some entertainment. I did not know what I was missing from the Foundry, but now that I know I will returning rather quickly!

Loved this spot! They had trivia in full swing on a Thursday night. Several kitchens to chose from, everything from poke to chicken sandwiches to cheesecake. Lots of options and perfect for a group with a bunch of different food tastes.

Teenagers really enjoyed the mini golf, VR game and new museum of illusion. However we didn't eat in the food court.

The concept behind the food hall seem so great, but the city foundry was a little bit lacking. A lot of the vendors were closed when we went on a weekday evening, which was definitely disappointing. It seems like there's a handful of vegetarian options, but overall not great. The redeeming quality was Indian food, probably some of the best in St. Louis. The other best option I would say what's the waffle bar, they make really great Mehta order waffles. The cocktails are pretty good so a great place for half appetizers and drinks but maybe not so much for dinner. Parking is pretty easy to come by, there's a large structure, which is great for covered parking.

The foundry has many different food places to choose from. They have a bar in the middle to grab a drink with your food. They have a couple cool shops in side and across the walk way. It has a nice industrial look inside that has very interesting features to look at on the ceilings and walls. All the stalls have very nice staff that can help you with any food questions or had to navigate the area. It's definitely a place to eat and explore if your in downtown area.

One stop location to check lots of things off the list. Groceries? There's a Fresh Thyme. Wanna catch a flick? Movie theater with full bar on site. Shopping craving? Plenty of places to satitiate that. I went on a Saturday so I was expecting it to be jam packed with people. Despite not being able to find a parking spot, it did not feel overly crowded in any of the places. No long wait for food lines, one of the only people at Alamo (they have some great cocktails) and the crowd was a friendly mix of folks. Kids seemed like they were having fun, too. I'm looking forward to enjoying this place when the weather gets nicer.

We loved this place! It had lots of options for all taste buds! We went once for dinner and then a quick lunch! Some favorites from our group include...the Vietnamese iced coffee, the acaii bowls, the poke bowls, the masala and the cheesecake! Highly recommend as it is a nice atmosphere and spacious for larger groups!
