Overpriced items— even ones that are close or well past expiration date. Despite popular belief, people are NOT rich live in Ridgewood.
We just want a grocery store with fresh and quality food, transparent and competitive prices, and decent options.
I’ve made several purchases here since it opened and EVERY TIME I have had issues with pricing at the register. I’d have to ask for price checks (which, of course, always proved me right / proved the system price that it rang up as wrong).
It reached a point where I began taking photos of the price tags for the things I wanted to buy to show the cashier (obviously not the cashier’s fault! Please dont be mean to them! I was a cashier for a long time and they’re just the face of the store, they dont have anything to do with pricing or the internal system!!!!!).
Sigh… I was so excited for this grocery store and hopeful in what it promised, but alas, it’s fallen short time and time and time and time and time again. I would give this place zero stars if I could. /-:
